5 comments about Thomas the Tank Engine with Caboose.
  1. My grandsons are 2 and 4 and they LOVE this. As far as I can tell it is the same quality of what we were seeing in the stores, but this included the "caboose" attachment, which made it much more workable for two growing boys.
You can use it with or without the caboose.
We can't quite get it to fold up as small as it was in the box, but it definately folds flat and slides out of site under the family room couch.

  2. I bought this toy for my nephew who lives in Germany. He absolutely loved it and it is an easy thing for him to carry back across the ocean. The train and caboose fold down into a small bag and can easily be carried for "play time" elsewhere - a great travel toy! I was also very happy with the quality of the train for the price.

  3. We got this for our 2 year old for Christmas. He adores Thomas and loves to pretend he is riding on the train. The Annie and Clarabel tunnel is great for him to crawl through. His cousins are 2 & 1/2 and 4 & 1/2 have a lot of fun playing with it too. It is definitely one of his favorite gifts.

  4. This was Christmas gift for 3 year old grandson. Good thing that it was opened last as we did not see 3 of the kids for the rest of the evening!
Reminder: this is a large toy.

  5. We bought Thomas the Tank Engine with Caboose for our four year old grandson. What a great toy!!! He plays in it every day. It's big enough for a sleeping bag.It is also rather large so you do need some room especially if it's set up all of the time. It was very easy to set up and take down,it just doesn't get taken down alot with him.We would recommend this toy,we gave 5 stars. If you have a child that likes trains this is a great gift idea...

5 comments about Thomas the Tank Bed Topper.
  1. My son really wanted this for X-mas. He just turned 4. It was easy to put together and it fit well over his large twin size bed with a safety railing but no headboard. I was very disappointed though that it didn't have th pockets that it shows on the box and on the ad. That would have been perfect for him to put all his bedtime friends. It's not very practical to put on and take off to change the bedding. Also, one of the side seams is ripped and I'm going to have to stitch that back up or the whole thing will fall apart. Other than those annoyances, it's pretty cool to hang out in and him and his little sister love it.

  2. We bought the Thomas the Tank Engine topper at the same time we bought a Pixar Cars topper. The Cars topper comes off the bed whenever our grandson moves around in it. It shifts. It's made of scratchy material. The worst part is that it is totally enclosed so the child is scared when he gets in it because he can't see out.

The Thomas topper, however, stays put, is soft, has a small "door" so you can get under the bed and a "trap door" so his brother can crawl through the back. It's an adventure and has helped him sleep in his own bed. Unfortunately, the child with the Cars topper keeps crawling in bed with him.

I would recommend the Thomas topper to anyone.

  3. The wife & I bought this for my son's 5th birthday. Needless to say he *loves* it! My son actually looks forward to bedtime! I found it quite easy to set up. Nevertheless, the 'structural support for the 'smokestack' section leaves a little to be desired. It's a little anemic and the "smokestack's" kind of on the floppy side, there should be some more stiffeners added so it stands nice and proud

  4. The Thomas the train bed topper was a much needed accessory for my son's bedroom. However because it is structurally a play tent it has already become loose at the seams. I am going to add velcro to the part that is coming apart so I can just keep putting it back together. My son loves it and that is what was the most important.

  5. Bought this for my two-year old and he loved it. It was a helpful transition from the crib. Built OK, some loose stitching but durable enough. Easy for me to climb in with him and read books.

  1. I bought this for my nephew for Christmas...He loves it! His grandfather was a firefighter, and his uncle is one now, so it has some sentimentality for our family. Thanks for a great toy!

  2. This tent is so fun! My nephew loves it, especially all the openings and doors to peek out of! And, it folds up flat for storage.

  3. This is one of the big hits of christmas in our house. It was bought for my 2 year old, who loves it but my 5 year old also loves to hide out in it. It folds up flat so it's easy to put out of the way when your tired of it. Will be purchasing some of these for birthday's. Great buy

  4. The fire engine was bigger than I expected. It does take a lot of space in the house but my 3 year old loves it. He walks around carrying it with him like he's driving it. It can be folded so it is only 1/2 the size which is more reasonable for inside play. My 1 year old also enjoys trying to get in and out of it. I am happy with this purchase.

  5. I bought this play tent for my 3 year old nephew and he loved it. It folds up to literally nothing, so it can be stored any where and not take up space. For the price I don't expect this to hold up forever and after 6 months he has already lost some interest in it, with getting new toys for his birthday. Also, my nephew is rough playing in it (along with my older nephews) and it has developed some rips but it was well worth the $20.00 I paid for it.

  1. The 2 children I care for got excited about this toy for about 5 minutes. For some reason it was lopsided right out of the box. It gets no attention in the playroom except when the toddler I work with wants to sit in it.
    Have a wonderful day.

  2. This toy is great for younger kids ( 2 - 5 yrs)Not to mention a lot of fun for my husband and I to play along with our 3 year old. It's nice because it's light weight and you can easily move it from room to room or even outside without any real effort.

  3. I got this for my son last Christmas when he'd just turned 3. He loves to toss the ball into the basket, or throw it into the baseball and yell "Homerun!" It is good for gross motor skill development, and I love that it folds FLAT to store easily, or you can even fold it into a circle that's about 8" in diameter and has a case for it and the plastic balls. It is easy to take on vacation or to grandma's house and always gets a "hooray!" when I bring it out. It is worth buying if you have a toddler or preschooler.

  4. I got it for my grandsons 2 and 3.
They enjoy dunking balls, blocks, anything, and mom likes the easy storage.
Grandpa likes to play with it when he comes over.

5 comments about School Bus.
  1. My 5 year old boy/girl twins love this toy (and so do all of our neighbors). They have had it for at least 3 years and it has survived a lot of rough play. Only now do I see it starting to tear. I just bought one for my sister's 18 month old son and he loves playing in it as well. He had more fun running in and out of it and then pretending to drive. The best part for parents is that it is light, folds up easily and can be stored in a closet or under a bed when not in use. It is also very portable so you can take it with you on vacation or to a friend's house. I highly recommend this bus. It has been so much fun for our family and kept the kids' interest for many years. Now that's a value!

  2. We gave this to our four year old and 16 month old daughters for Christmas and they absolutely LOVE it! They play in it together every day. My 16 month old likes to climb through the windows, instead of the the doors, but the bus bounces back into shape even when she does this. It's great that they have something they can play in together and not fight over. I love that it folds up and is easy to put away. One of the best presents that we bought them!

  3. This is one of the best inventions ever. A HUGE toy that my son loves and when he's done with it will EASILY fold up to fit under his bed. The whole family can get into it together - and we do. It has an inflatable steering wheel that clips onto the tent and sunroof windows where you can stick your head out. What more do you want for this price?

  4. I had wanted to get my 17 month old daughter a play tent or something that she can go in and out of. I had found this school bus and thought I would try it out since it was so affordable. My daughter loves it! She loves to run in and out of the door flap and crawl through the hole in the back of the bus. She thinks it's hilarious when we stick our heads in through the windows when she is in there. This school bus is very light and can be knocked over and moved around but that is all part of the fun as my daughter even likes to move it around while she is inside of it. The best part is that it folds up easily in seconds to be put away and unfolds in seconds for play time.

  5. I was so disappointed in this toy. First let me say that my son did love it and was entertained but after the second use the toy would not stand straight. It tilted and there was no way for me to get the rods straightened out. I sent it back for a refund. Looking for something more sturdy for a 18 month old.

5 comments about Megaland.
  1. Megaland is indeed a lot of fun. Our 12 month-old twins absolutely love it, and we always find new ways to play with it. However, be careful. With rough play the metal strips can separate and cause a severe injury. Below is the text of a recent complaint I made to the CPSC:

Megaland by Playhut is a collection of three pop-up tents and 2 pop-up tunnels. The strips of flexible metal used to give the objects their shape and pop-up nature can separate, leaving two very sharp ends that could easily cause a laceration or severe eye injury. Both of our tunnels broke in this way, and the ends of the metal strips pierced the fabric covering. Fortunately, we noticed this in time and threw them both away before any harm could ensue. My guess is that this only occurs with rough play (e.g., children jumping on the tunnels and compressing the strips); however, the fact is that children play rough, and our tunnels broke after only two weeks.

  2. I bought this when my daughter was just starting to crawl and she has always loved it. She still crawls through it and whenever we have play dates the kids love it. I did purchase extra balls but I got them at toys r us for $9.95 for 100.

I love that if you don't have the space for the whole thing you can just put some of the cubes away in a closet.

  3. This product was purchased for my two boys as a Christmas gift last year...The second time I pulled it out to put it up I was poked by a wire that is located in the seam on the top of the tunnel. To keep my boys from being cut I threw the tunnel out and immediately contacted customer service with my concern and asked for a replacement tunnel.
After disregarding the fact that the seams are flimsy and potentially dangerous seeing that the wire that is supposed to be contained in them is very sharp...they went on to tell me that I had to take a picture of the playhut...the tunnel...the seam...the damage...and then they could check their inventory and see if they could help me with a replacement. I offered to read each and every box/tag number that I could for them but that I had discarded the tunnel-I've never heard back. Not only is this toy potentially dangerous but the hoops you have to jump through in order to get help from the customer service department are not worth the 100.00 price tag.

  4. My kids are 1 and 3 and like this toy for a little while. When they are getting bored I just flatten it and slide it under the couch. I wouldn't be that pleased if it didn't store easily. It's very easy to set up and take down.
The kids really enjoy all the balls (we added 100 balls). One downfall is that it tips really easily. Both kids can knock it over very quickly. Basketball net has never worked. It came missing the piece that props it up.
    Great toy for the price.

  5. This is a great toy for people who don't have much space. If you are used to the things that twist and fold for storage; all of these pieces fold up in a similar way.

It's super easy to set this up and take it down. My son loves it and when we are done playing it all folds up to a nice small size for storage. You can use it indoors or outdoors. The only hazard we are finding about having it indoors is you end up with balls everywhere. Which the cats enjoy but I don't enjoy much. Luckily my son thinks picking the balls up is a game, so it works out okay.

The balls that come with it are not enough for the ball pit. I went and bought another 200 balls to fill the ball pit up nice and good. My 14 month old son loves it.

It is about as durable as you would expect it to be for the cost and portability. Similar to many other twist and fold items. It does blow over easy and get knocked over pretty easy; but for my son that's all part of the fun :-)

Surprisingly my cats also love chasing each other in and out of the tunnels. We've had this a couple months now and it has stood up to kid and cats so far. We love it and my son will spend a good hour or so playing in there at a time.

  1. Great toy and super easy to take along. My 15 month old daughter loves it. She likes tackling, manipulating and moving it as well which is quite easy as it has no floor. But, because of its collapsible design we hardly need to worry as it will just flex and move with her. The fabric is quite thin and the stitching is not doubled. But, for the price it sure brings a whole lot of happiness! We enjoy it so much we are considering getting the MegaLand - looks like a fantastic value at $80 on Amazon. PlayHut is now one of our new favorite companies!

  2. I am very satisfied with this product. My grandaughter is 10 months old and loves it. I bought it because I read the reviews other people wrote and found these reviews very helpful in helping me decide what brand to get. I like that when I have to put it away it folds neatly, if you follow the instructions, and fits in the bag included with the crawl and play. The bag is easily stored in her toybox for the next time. I am very satisfied with this product.

  3. My son absolutely LOVES this thing!! I put an Elmo Aquadoodle (Which is also a GREAT purchase!!) down underneath it, and my son Julian just sits inside his Crawl N Play drawing on the aquadoodle, and playing for hours! He also loves to jump up out of the top hole of it and yell, "Peek a boo!!" It's SO cute!! Plus, it's VERY durable, as he has jumped on it, and it just bounces right back up!

I love, love, LOVE this product, and so does my son! It's a great buy if you ask me! :-)

I hope this review helps anyone else who's thinking about buying one for their kids...

    Julie

  4. My almost 2 year old grandson loves this!! He can pop in and out, lift it, collapse it and watch it pop back up, hide in it-- in short, I enjoy watching him enjoy himself while he plays and discovers new uses for it.

  5. I don't know how long this toy will last. It is very flimsy. My 19-month-old is just ok with it--he's not really crazy over it as what you would see on the ad. If we don't play it with him, he won't play with it much. We could've lived without this toy...

5 comments about Disney Princess Mega Castle.
  1. We ordered this tent because our little girls love to dress like Cinderella and Snow White and pretend they are princesses. We had a smaller tent, but they could not easily stand up and sleep in it. We are so happy with this castle! It's big enough for the girls to stand up in, and also large enough for the two girls and mom to sleep in at night. We have it set up in the bedroom and they love it. It is made of high quality material. The colors and images are beautiful. The tent sets up very easily. We ordered a pink sleeping bag sold separately and it works very well as flooring material. Thank you!

  2. I bought this mega house for my 5 year old granddaughter and she loves it! She slept in it the first several nights and now plays in it every day. She especially loves that she can stand up in it. I was concerned about how sturdy it would be but was pleasantly surprised that it is quite sturdy!

  3. We purchased the Princess Mega House for our daughter's 4th birthday and she just loves it. We also have a 6 yr old and a 1 yr old, and they all enjoy playing in the tent together. When she first received it, she wanted everyone to get inside. So, the whole family of 5, plus the family dog, crawled inside to see if we could fit. We did! The kids can even stand up with plenty of head room. It is really easy to open and put away. It folds quickly and takes up virtually no storage space. Light weight. It will provide several years of entertainment!

  4. I gave this to my daughter for her 5th birthday and she loves it. It is big enough for my 2 girls and their 3 cousins to play in without crowding. I had read some reviews about the playhut getting out of shape after folding a few times, but have had no problems with this. It pops up easily and takes a little coordination to take down correctly, but still fits into its bag well for storage. I would strongly recommend this playhut...as long as you have the room to put it up (it is large).

  5. My 2 and 3 year old daughters love this castle. It is easy to set up, although we can't seem to fold it back into the carrying case correctly. However, it does fold flat and can be stored under a bed easily. The castle is huge. Plenty of room to set up their toy kitchen inside and have space for a few more kids. I would estimate that 4 adults could sit indian-style inside comfortably. We will be able to use this toy for years to come! It is their favorite toy ever.

  1. This is a high quality toy that my grandson loves to play with. You can add on to it , do different configurations.

  2. My 2-year-old son got so excited while I was putting this together, he knew exactly what to do with it and started crawling through the pieces before I even got it finished! It's January and nasty outside right now so it gives him something active to do while we wait for nicer weather. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the item we received wasn't as pictured, and I'm not talking about the color. Instead of 2 smaller square units and one large square unit in the middle ours has the 2 small and one strange teepee unit that isn't our favorite; it doesn't stay open very well. But really, all in all, this is an awesome toy for a mere $[...]!

  3. Les comento que mi hijo de 15 meses apenas abri el regalo no dejo de jugar dentro de los tuneles y de reir en todo momento, estuvo al menos 2 horas jugando con el.

Let me tell you all that my 15 months son as soon as I open the gift he start playing inside the tunnels and laughing all the time, he was at least two hours playing...

  4. Great toy, I just bought it, it is long, fun, not dificult to set up, there is not much to set up really, comes ready!, my baby likes it very much, great toy for a great price!!

  5. I purchased this for my 18 month old nephew & he absolutly loves it!!! He plays in it daily. He is full of energy & this is one of the greatest items for those cold winter or rainy spring days when you can't get outside to exercise!!! It is easy to set up and take down & wonderful on space when you want to pack it up to go to Grandma's or even a hotel. It's lightweight & colorful and you must get one for your energetic little one!

  1. While it's not the sturdiest of toys, my two year old has a blast getting inside and pretending he's driving the train.

Thomas the Tank Train Engine Play Tent

  2. My toddler LOVES this tent! It's more roomy than I imagined it to be. Great quality. The side opening can be a tripping hazard b/c the little ones have to step over the bottom rim, but the back opening is perfect. Folds up so easily! Perfect for kids who love Thomas!!

  3. We gave this to our 3-year old granddaughter for Christmas this past year. She plays it in and it is light enough to carry around. It is so much better than draping sheets/blankets over a card table like I had to do back in the ????'s. I don't know that it is particularly educational, but I find no fault with a kid just having fun with a toy and not learning a thing from it. So far I haven't heard of it breaking, so I'm assuming it's still in good shape.

  4. My 2 year old loves to play for hours in the tent. He will sit and play with other toys inside the tent and sits and looks at books. He loves to play peek a boo too.

  5. This Thomas the Train tent was a gift for an autistic boy's 4th birthday and he has played with it daily. The parents have set the tent up in their family room and find it a constant delight for a boy who loves trains. His dad is a real car buff and likes to show his special car. When he takes his son to car shows, he also takes this tent as it keeps his son busy during the whole day, can even be used for the boy's napping spot, and gets folks to visit his car. This was a great purchase and I'm delighted it is being enjoyed to the fullest!
