- 30 darts for 8 bucks. When you factor in the bag, we're talking a mere 25 cents a dart!
For anyone who owns a nerf gun or three, you'll need refill darts, and the micro dart will fit in most nerf guns (it'll even fit into most dart tagger guns, although they won't stick to the tagger shields and vest, obviously).
The inclusion of a bag with a cord cinch and belt clip is very nice.
- I have 5 different Nerf guns at work (and an automated gun with motion detectors at home to foil any sneak attacks by the wife or cats), and these darts are a prime candidate for the Maverick six-shooter. The velcro darts can fire nicely from that particular model, but they often jam, which means you just gave up the element of surprise trying to snipe your co-worker.
Using the suction darts, I almost never jam, and the accuracy is deadly. If my co-workers are within 15 feet, I almost always score, and usually with a head shot. I left the Maverick un-modified for accuracy, and use a different gun with Stefan darts when I want more punch.
The only drawback is that if you pull these darts off of windows or whiteboards, you have to be careful or you can loosen the suction-cup head, and eventually it comes off. But don't throw those headless tubes away, you can hot-glue a tip inside and the new darts will fire via your Longshot rifle without jamming. :)

- Loved this product for myself and my twin 11 year old girls! It's quite a hoot, but don't buy it without getting LOADS of extra darts (not supplied with the guns). I've had to order extra darts separately from an ebay seller. In the first INDOOR game alone we lost 10 of the 20 and have slowly been finding them. I wouldn't attempt to play this outside as the darts would be GONE!! So, we kept to an indoor game and tried to keep the darting contained, but still we need plenty more backup darts. Otherwise, a lot of active fun for all of us! Recommended.
- Nerf darts travel approximately
25-30 feet. Toy comes with safety
goggles and vest. Fun time!!
- We gave this to my 10 year old son for Christmas and he and ALL kids up to age 65 loved playing with it. I knew he would have fun with it but I was amazed that his older cousins (ages 25 & 27) and uncles enjoyed them as much. Just be sure and wear the glasses provided (or your own) because the aim of the gun is really off and the darts will hit you in the face before you realize it!
- I got this toy because my 11 yr. old was constantly asking me for a nerf gun. I admit I was skeptical of the durability of a plastic toy gun and wasn't sure if it was worth the $[...] to just throw away after a week of fun. But I was nicely surprised to see my 11 year old and 13 year old boys have so much fun. Even the dad joins in on their fun. The guns shoot pretty far and the target vest definitely add to the fun. I would recommend this toy to any parent who is okay with letting their boys play with plastic guns.
- My boys wanted guns for christmas because my teenage brother wanted guns for christmas. Seeing as how my sons are more than 10 years my brothers' junior, I was not in the mood to compete with browning. After the recommendation of a friend from work, I checked these out and am I glad I did! For two hours CHristmas morning, my boys chased my brothers around the house, shooting eachother, gathering ammo, and shooting again. The targets on the vests made it even more adventurous and I dare say the 18 year old had as much fun as the 6 year old. Safe, inventive, so much fun, I recommend this toy for anyone who loves to shoot guns.

- What a piece of garbage !! First of all, I had to return & exchange this because the ball wouldn't light up & the rim only lit up partially.
The ball is way to heavy. It is so heavy that it makes a huge noise when hitting the board or door, when hitting the floor it sounds like a bowling ball ! The rim is very flimsy and lightweight, it has a hard time withstanding the weight of the force from the heavy ball.
My kids use the rim with another brand foam ball.
This is definitely a waste of money & a huge disappointment.
- My son is 11 and as any parent knows it is hard to buy for an 11 year old. He loves the basketball hoop by Nerf as it looks really cool glowing in the dark. Bought the item for $7.50, totally unbeatable prices with free shipping included at Christmas time. The best deals out there!!!
- The ball is to heavy for the net. Because of the lighting in the ball it is heavy and constantly pulls down the net. I went and bought a diffrent ball to go with it.
- Wow. This toy makes you wonder if anyone at Nerf actually tests these things before they put them to market. As has been said, my first impression was "where is the nerf ball? This thing feels like a brick!". I assumed that I was being overly picky because of my kids' newly renovated room, so I hung it over the back of the door like it said, and took a shot. It was so loud that it scared me - plus I thought for a minute that the ball had actually broken the (solid oak) door. Bottom line - this thing is junk. I had to bolt it to the wall to even use it, and even then it stinks. The walls rattle with every shot, and you have to swish it to make a basket with the brick of a ball. Stay away from this one....
- The backboard and hoop that lights up are great but the ball never worked. Plus like people said the ball is too heavy even if it did work. Just get a cheap 3-4 dollar nerf basketball and use the ball from it. For the price on amazon.com it's worth getting even if not for the ball. Plastic construction of the backboard is nice.

5 comments about Hasbro Nerf Dart Tag Refill Pack: 30 Tagger Micro Darts.
- Get this! These tagger micro darts shoot very far and you can use it with a Nite Finder or any other NERF gun that has the dart sticking out! These are very useful when you are in 'battle'. When you are out of ammo, you can clip the mesh bag to your belt and you can get an immediate refill! Buy this! It flies much farther than the suction cup micro darts!
- Ok, so im a nerfer. Really, like a modding the guns and stuff like that nerfer. These darts dont work that well with my modded longshot, The go about 50 feet and then spiral down. But my modded maverick works great with these
- I have used these darts indoors and outdoors. They travel much further than the suction tipped Micro Darts. I use them in my Nerf N-Strike - Nite Finder EX-3 and my Nerf Dart Tag Crossfire Blue.
Using the above guns these darts will travel at least 30 feet. A shot to the eye at very close range would be painful and potentially harmful so be sure to use protective eyewear.
My only minor gripe is the carrying bag. It's a nice bag but it's made out of gauzy mesh. The Velcro ends of darts stick to mesh threads. So over time it's possible to fray these threads. Nerf should have used nylon mesh or some type of solid cloth.
All-in-all this refill bag is a very good deal in my opinion. I got mine a Target for $[...].
- I have had several moded and home made dart guns and perfer these to the stephans i make. they are durable, inexpensive, and fun. as an added bounus a majority of them even whistel while there flying through the air at high speeds.
- I picked up one of these dart packs to serve as extra ammo for my Nerf MagStrike, and they're pretty solid. They're durable as long as you're not trying to hurt them, and the velcro sticks pretty well to anything fuzzy. Don't use them in the Maverick; the larger heads on the tagger darts have a tendency to get jammed in the cylinder.

- Your offering this product for 21.00 dollars, that's over two dollars per dart. Do you realize that I pay less for my .357 ammo! Are you out of your flippen tree? The Hasbro web site (Owners of Nerf) sell this product for 3.99. I hope you choke to death on your darts.
- When I got my Nerf Longshot, I knew I would need more ammo for the wonderful gun, so I stopped by the local Target and got this for $5. These wourk perfectly well but I suggest getting them somewhere else for cheaper!
- They work fine, I would of made them a little bit stronger. The tips seem to tear off.
- The product is fine. It's Amazon's price, far above average retail. Buy these darts at most places for $3.99. Check out the Hasbro website.

5 comments about Hasbro Nerf N-Strike Firefly REV-8.
- Nerf guns are a hit at our house. The kids and their Dad have Nerf Gun Wars. Once in a while, they can even talk me into it. This Gun has been a favorite with my boys. It holds several darts, so they can rapid fire.
- To start, I will announce the Pros and Cons of this product. Pros: This nerf gun is durable, relatively small and is light. It is fun in the dark with its glow-in-the-dark darts and its ability to light up. Cons: This is probably the weakest nerf gun I have ever fired and I have fired a lot of nerf guns. This nerf gun also uses only one kind of dart. The darts it uses are very flimsy and are way too light. They have no weight to guide them and travel about 9 feet. This is not like other guns that you can use other darts with. The gun has a very badly designed piece of plastic that goes right over the chamber that prevents the use of any other kind of dart. Any other dart will jam the gun. Ok, think about this in your head: You go to buy a nerf gun and you see one that looks cool and says it uses batteries. This happens to be that gun. Yes it uses batteries but in probably the most useless way possible. The batteries don't give it more power. They don't allow it to shoot full auto. It wastes batteries because all it uses batteries for is to light up the chamber and make a stupid sound when the gun is fired. If you want to have cool nerf battles with your friends, I know I do, it is worth the extra money to buy the Longshot or the Recon but this gun is a complete waste of money and is a disgrace to the very nature of dart guns. I am very ashamed of you, nerf.
Thank you for reading my review and I hoped it helped you make a decision. I am deeply sorry if I offended anybody.
- I purchased this gun to shoot family members and co-workers with. It fell apart after 15 or 20 uses. The "ammo" doesn't stay loaded and half of them pop out the gun every time now. I understand that this is just cheap plastic crap but I was hoping it would last longer than just a few months.
- I got this toy for christmas and im 13 i got it when i was twelve i found it was very awkward and very big i thought that it should have been smaller and the darts are very hard to find i ended up using the dart tag darts the ones with the velcro and found they were to long for the barrel i trimmed them with some scissors and that did but after about a week it wouldnt shoot the darts any more like i loaded up 8 darts all made sure they were fitting cocked and fired nothing happened just the noise you get when you fire a nerf gun without a bullet also the cocking mechanism is hard to pull back and it might hurt a childs hand after pulling it back so much i got a blister as i said its very large and wierd shaped it is very large for an average 8-9 year old. i would not reccomend it.
- This gun is awesome! I had one but it broke. wasnt guns fault it was mine i dropped it like 50 times so now im getting a new one. when i had the gun it was awesome i have at least 15 guns and this gun was in my top 5. GREAT GUN!!!!!!!!

5 comments about Hasbro Nerf N-Strike Disk Shot.
- The action itself is lots of fun - skeet shooting nerf discs! The only negative is that the disc launcher jams every 5 discs or so. I will be still keeping it as the kids had a blast with it, but as a brand new right out of the box product it really shouldn't do this.
- If the disk shooter worked! We got this for Xmas - but unfortunately the disk shooter receiver didn't work. It will go back to the store this week but we will exchange it for another one - it just looks like too much fun so it deserves another chance. We all took turns tossing the disks in the air for others to shoot and had a blast. Can't wait to get a working machine!
- We bought this toy for our 10 year old son for Christmas, and I am thinking of returning it. It really is too noisy. If you have a basement or a spare room that you can shut the game up in then you might be able to tolerate it. The toy is also pretty challenging, and it took quite awhile to learn how to hit the targets, so your player has to be pretty persistent.
I am just not sure how much lasting "play value" this toy is going to have in the long run. My fear is that after a few more play sessions it is going to end up in the pile of "badly conceived but heavily marketed" toys in my son's closet.
I guess I should have bought lego...
- As a grandmother I am out of touch with what my 10y and 9y old grandsons would like for Christmas. Because this toy was mentioned in Consumer Reports as a very good choice for grannies to buy I took a chance. Both boys called and said they loved them. Since both boys have little sisters I was worried who the targets would be but so far so good.
- I purchased this Nerf game for my 12 year old son. It is really pretty cool and he and I have spent about 15 minutes on several occasions playing with it.
The first issue that we had was our 8 foot tall ceilings are not high enough for the product. Perhaps 10 or 12 feet are needed. We solved this by placing the product down in a stairwell with lots of clearance. We stood at the top of the stairwell and fired from there. In this arrangement, the disks were often at eye level or slightly below when we were firing. Also, we had to learn to track the path of the disk with the gun and fire near the top of the height of the disk.
The disk launcher can fire straight up or at a variable angle. Straight up worked fine for us. The variable angle would tend to hit the wall. One cool thing is that the height of the disk is intentionally varied to make this more challenging.
To start the disk, there is an IR (infrared) remote control mounted on the top of the gun. Press this button and the disk launcher starts a countdown process with a progression of beeps. When the disk is launched, try to follow its path from the launcher using the gun and then fire at the top of the arc. If I am careful, I can hit the disks about half the time. The darts are designed to stick to the disks, but that does not happen very often. This is not really a problem, but it would be cool if they stuck to the disks.
This product is very safe, however, you want to make sure that your child knows not to shoot someone in the face. You could do some eye damage at close range. Otherwise, you can safely take a hit a point blank range as my son and I often do.
This is a challenging and fun game and I highly recommend it.
Thanks
John C. Briggs

5 comments about Hasbro Nerf N-Strike Longshot CS-6.
- I am nearly 14 years old and i've had my share of nerf wars, and trust me, only use the longshot when you have somewhere to duck behind to reload, or have a full clip. The best case scenario for reloading is having a full clip ready to pop in. But when you're not that lucky, you have to load up the clip (which takes awhile,) and then pop it in. That is where it is worse than the firefly, and maverick. It does shoot streamline darts pretty far (over the advertised 30 ft.) but those are the only darts it uses, and the streamline hurt even more in the maverick. The gun also jams a lot. You'll be shooting, you'll reload, push up the bolt, but then it won't click in. Eventually you realize there is already a dart stuck in there somehow. Luckily, NERF addressed this problem and put in a jam door under the tactical rail(handle). But the darts get pretty beat, and it's hard to find refills for the list price. The "scope' is pretty pathetic, so you should just take that off because if somthings lined up perfectly in it, the dart's bound to go a foot below. The pistol extension is good for sniping, as is the fold-down bipod, but gets in the way otherwise. It is cool to shoot two darts at once, though.
Now, finally the good things. This gun is probably the easiest to keep firing within a clip of the ones i've used (i have yet to try the recon cs-6), and is the most accurate. Or, you could hold it like a shotgun and just fire away. And because it is very big (too big with the extension) it is good to shield yourself with. And if you don't have a clip ready, you can slide the dart down the barrel and then cock the gun, although it isn't recommended. So this is a great gun, but i'm not sure if i'd suggest this over the firefly.
- I bought this gun at Target for 1/2 the price listed here, and have had a lot fun with it.
Main Gun:
Pros:
clips for easy reloading
range is significantly better than the Hasbro Nerf N-Strike Maverick Intimidates opponents
Cons:
streamline darts darts expensive
clips ridiculously priced
clips difficult to fill with darts
stings at point blank range
Notes: Lots of fun, but be careful with the darts
I read here that you can fit regular darts into the longshot if you rip the tops off. This is true, but for me they only went a few inches.
Extension:
Pros: _____________________________________________
Cons: Unpredicatble range (1ft.-15ft.)
single shot
awkward to strap over shoulder
Notes: not that bad, but nothing stands out as good. Had trouble attaching trigger at first. Takes NERF SONIC MICRO Darts Refill 10 Pack as well as sreamlines
Scope:
Pros: Fun
Cons: Hard to attach
shots go low when you aim with it
Notes: Form side to side the aim is fine just aim high
Together:
Pros: Intimidation (more)
ability to fire 2 darts from one gun at the same time
easier to carry
Cons: Slightly shorter range
Harder to reload extension
awkward to hold
Notes: ____________
Overall notes:
Great gun, a sidearm besides the extension is useful.
- this toy is very fun but 30 feet is too long for a gun the gun has some cool featchers it can form two guns it as a bio stand so you don't need to hold it when aiming! great tyoy I recamend
- This gun is really a bunch of fun in this house. The laser can be used to pinpoint exactly what your aim's desire may be and since it comes apart, that is done quite easily. The worst part of the gun is the fact that it is so big, it's quite cumbersome. Especially so for the little guys, about 7 and under. This gun is used mostly separately in our house, or it's set up on the kitchen table and fired into the drapes into the family room. To actually carry the thing, it's quite difficult for even a seven-year-old. Other than that, it's been a load of fun but be sure to get replacement darts at target - they've been the cheapest I've found. Highly recommend!
- From my son: Monkey see, monkey want. I got the Longshot for Christmas '06. The moral of the story is: don't believe everything you see in a commercial. It showed great accuracy; what a joke. And the commercial claim, "Everything you need to blast your skills to the next level." should have been, "Everything you need to spend $30.00 on, to ruin your kid's Christmas (or any child's birthday."). Bottom line: this gun stinks, and I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this toy. To ANYONE.

5 comments about Hasbro Nerf N-Strike Maverick.
- I purchased this as a distraction at my work. Foam dart weaponry makes for easy entertainment in an afternoon break. I had seen the Nerf Maverick before and when I actually examined the price tag, the decision to purchase it was easily made.
There were three primary reasons that prompted my selection of the Nerf Maverick:
1) The size. It's a child's toy for sure, but it easily fits in an adults hand (aside from some minor pinky-finger displacement). It has a good weight to it, and throwing it around a bit in my cube, it seems sturdy enough to survive my, or any child's, play activities.
2) Functionality. The revolver like mechanism is impressive, and aides in reloading. Also, in truth, it actually makes reloading fun as well. I haven't experienced any problems with the button to disengage the chambers, but I did notice that you can flick it shut with your wrist, which is cool.
Also, with the sonic-tip darts, the toy becomes instantly more enjoyable for you because of the added audible reaction and more annoying to everyone around you. If you enjoy annoying people, than you can expect a 200% increase in happiness by purchasing the sonic-darts. However, I cannot advise parents to purchase those darts unless said parents are often the targets of said darts. Having them whistle through the air will give a parent the chance to hear from where the dart is coming and can both dodge the dart and seek out said renegade child with ease.
3) Aesthetics. It looks cool. It's very sci-fi inspired, and the cocking mechanism is a slide, which doesn't take away from it at all. It's easily the best looking Nerf gun I have come across. You could easily paint it to look like a sci-fi prop (and I likely will as neon yellow doesn't suit this Cube Warrior).
Overall, I'm exceedingly pleased with this toy.
As a note, I did rate it a three in educational as it does teach hand/eye coordination. However, I know for a fact that I know nothing of educating children, and thus should be taken as the non-expert that I am. Still, I do believe that children should learn to interact with their environment without looking specifically at which they intend to interact... even if that interaction involves shooting foam darts.
- Very cool gun! I am 20 and I just horse around with my friends with it. The only problem is the barrel sometimes takes a bit to open/close. The closing problem is frustrating because you have to push the button to open AND close the barrel. This shoots very far, and does not hurt if it hits someone. It was only $10, and I think it's worth that value.
- This gun is probably one of the best guns I've ever gotten. It shoots at an accuracy of about four hits at thirty feet which is better then my Recon nerf rifle and it is very easy to cock. There is one problem with the design though. It is very hard to attach a scope or lazer sight to it because its grooves where you put the scope are on the cock system, which makes it very hard to cock. There are many good things about this gun though like how light it is for its firepower and it lasts a while. From my experience it also can take some beatings and it is a very good gun to have if you're just starting to play because it is very easy to aim. And I'd also recommend it to anybody who's looking for a good but cheap gun. This gun is definately worth paying ten dollers for.
- I am an 11 year old nerf fan. I got the nerf Maverick and I am in LOVE with this gun. Light-weight, durable, accurate, easy to load, quick firing, and its small. The Maverick bullets fly very fast and are difficult to dodge. This is a must have for a nerf fan.
Ryan
- This thing is really cool. Very easy to load(just make sure the darts are pushed fully into their slots for problem free shooting). I bought some whistling darts for my cat's enjoyment(no I don't shoot him). He loves them and chases them as I shoot them around the house. WoW! The whistling darts fly much better and faster than the originals(further distances). I suggest buying those extra darts and using them instead.

5 comments about Nerf N-Strike Recon Cs-6 Dart Blaster.
- as the title said it's almost as good as long shot I just wish the extra clip came with it (stoking holds extra clip) but great toy i'f had it for 5 days and I like it so much I play with it evry minute of the wekend day!
- This gun jams all the time, my friend had it for about 5 hours... and it jammed i mean jammed hard that bullet would not come out even with pliers so he had to return it and he got another one he had that one for about 3 hours then it jammed the same way as the other one and then a diffrent friend got it and it jammed the same way don't get this gun, save your money.
- This is a sweet toy for someone pretending to be rambo or a navy seal or james bond. If you are going to use this to fight other ppl with other nerf guns then its going to let you down. The thing looks like an assualt rifle, but how many assualt rifles do you know that only have 6 bullets. Nerf wars deserve high ammo capacity.
Honestly the steamline darts aren't as accurate and go just about as far as the suction ones out of the $8 maverick that is also 6 shot. The maverick has a smoother cocking action because it is a revolver not a clip. The clip would make reloading easier but the clip is useless because the gun only comes with one. Eventually hasbro will start selling replacement clips (June 2008) and you can tape two clips back to back and carry 3 or 4 clips on this gun, but for additional $. Also as it only uses fancy streamline darts you can't scavenge the darts off the battlefield as easily.
Buy a maverick, better yet buy two mavericks instead a a sack of tag darts, much more fun for the same price.
- I'm an adult but I still have fun with this nerf gun. The clip is very cool to have. It has pretty good power but could be better. I will probably mod it. The muzzle that goes on the front just weekens the power so leave it off. The clip holds 6 darts(wish it held 10). I think you can get extended clips(not sure).
Con: I have to make sure my friends don't shoot my cat with it, lol.
- This N-strike Blaster shoots pritty well if I remove the baral. I striped it down so that all I am using is the but plate and the triger mecanisum. If I use the baral the darts do go as far. by removing the baral I have lost the use of the sights. Not that I could have hit the target given the loss of range.
