1. My son has several Diego toys, including the $40 Rescue Center, which I think is a piece of junk. So, at Christmas, I bought him this set to replace the other one. Well, all I can say is this is the set to get! It was so easy to set up and it came with little picture cards to show different configurations that my about to turn 4 year old could almost do by himself, and the pieces stick together great! Unlike the Spiderman and friends Mega Blocks that I also purchased, which do not fit tightly, this set is nice and tight and very well made. Also, unlike many other Mega Blocks sets, you can make everything pictured at the same time! A huge plus in my opinion! We have gotten too many other sets where you can only make one thing at a time, although several are pictured! Well worth the money, especially at the sale price! Highly recommend!



2. This was one of two Diego Mega Bloks sets that I got for my 5 year old for Xmas. He's old enough for smaller legos, but because he has a 2 year old brother, I've been hesitant to bring those "chokables" into our house. This was a great compromise: both my kids can play with this and no choking hazard, really. There are some small pieces, but I think it was a good investment. They can (and do) build lots of different play-things out of this one set, so they can really be imaginative. All of the pieces are sturdy and durable, so I think this set will be around for a long time.



3. My three-year-old son loves anything related to Diego. I was able to buy this set from Amazon on sale before Christmas. My child and his cousins absolutely loved playing with this toy on Christmas Day at Grandma's house. This set can be used interchangeably with some of the other Mega Block sets.



4. I've had good luck with all mega block sets we've had, and this is no exception. My son enjoys playing with it. Hoping it does not get recalled like so many other Dora/Diego related items we've had in the past.



5. The blocks do not fit together snug enough to stay together, never mind playing with it assembled, it falls apart trying to assemble... My son is 3 and was very excited to get it from Santa but very disappointed to find that he is unable to play with it as advertised because it is so poorly made.

1. I bought this for my 4-year-old for Christmas and she's been playing with it ever since - and she's not even that much into Dora. I liked it because it offers a lot of building felxibilty - the house is very quick to build, yet offers a number of different configurations (single-story, double-story, courtyard) and there is lots of play furniture. It seems very well made - I was a bit wary as this is basically a copy of Duplo and I wasn't sure about its quality - but I have absolutely no complaints on this score. Of course it is compatible with Duplo and (small) Lego, so it offers a lot of possibility for extending play in the future by joining it with other sets.



2. I bought this house for my 2 year old niece and she LOVES it! It is a great addition to the other mega blocks Dora pieces!!



3. My Daughter loves this Dora house, it has the great option of being a doll house and play house and be able to take it apart and rebuild how she likes too! This toy is excellent and I recommend this toy to all the Dora fans.



4. Awesome product. My girl loves it! It is durable and easy to play with. Big blocks that can be used my small kids and no small parts.

1. We got these blocks for my sons 1st birthday and WOW are we having fun. The size is perfect for his hands and they click together and come apart easily! My 3 and 5 year old daughters love them too. We've never had Mega Blocks before, but they are a favorite now! You can even keep the case that they come in for storing them! Great for younger children and easier to use than legos!



2. My husband and I and our 2 1/2 year old grandson play with these blocks almost every time he is here. The little construction vehicles are perfect for little hands. They come apart and can be used with the blocks too. We love all the Mega Block products. They are well made and durable. My grandson loves to build with them and has learned all his colors. I recommend this (and all Mega Blocks) very highly.



3. Great price for this product! Comes in its own plastic carry case, too, to store the many pieces. Colorful and attractive for young ones who enjoy construction equipment!



4. We bought this for our 18 month old nephew. He has loved the toys... it really was a good combination. How can you go wrong with truck and blocks?

1. Bought this for our five-year old son for Christmas. He loves it...plays with it every day. He can't wait to get home and start a new adventure. We also bought some of the characters to go with the ship (Jack Sparrow, Davy Jones, and the Kraken). I don't think the ship is that much fun by itself, but combined with the other components this makes a great toy. It combines building with the lego-like pieces, and pretend play with the characters. Ship and components come apart but are easily put back together. Seems very durable to me. We will be buying more components soon.

1. Be careful of description. If you see description on wagon pictured it shows 50 pieces. The written description shows 50 pieces but product information has 40 pieces. Per email from manufacturer 50 piece wagon has been discontinued and the 40 piece wagon replaced it. From what I can tell the new "Fill and Dump" wagon is smaller and in my opinion not as durable. So you may not receive the item as pictured above. I found this out at a couple of different stores where the pictured wagon it not actually the wagon available.



2. We had our Grand daughter here for a visit and the whole time she was here she played with the Mega block wagon that we already have. We were convinced that this was what we should get her for Christmas. She likes pushing and pulling things too, so needless to say she is pretty content with her new toy.



3. My 17 month old son just received this for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! It really fine tunes his building skills. This toy is very durable as well. Not only does he love filling up the wagon and dumping it's contents but then he loves pushing it around. It keeps him very busy! I definitely recommend this toy.



4. Both my boys LOVE this wagon and the blocks that it comes with. We initially got it for my 2 yr. old for his birthday and he of course was nuts over it. He has already been playing with the Mega Blocks so this purchase was a no brainer.
   
   Now, my 1 yr. old likes it because he can climb into the wagon and sit in it. He is just now trying to figure out how to put the blocks together like his big brother so we may have to purchase even more.
   
   If your kids like blocks or dumping things or pulling things...this is PERFECT for them!!



5. I purchased this for my granddaughter....something to keep at our house when she came up to visit. Our granddaughter is just a year old however she loves this set. She's definitely not the doll type and I was hoping this would appeal to her, and it does. It takes quite the beating, however, it's holding up beautifully. I'm thinking of buying additional block sets to add to this.
   
   I definitely would recommend this.

1. My five year old loves to build things, including legos, etc. He is having a blast with this. There are plenty of pieces and he spends a lot of time in creative play. The base is great and adds a great deal to the fun. The lights are an interesting addition as well. We got two light pieces with this set (another reviewer said it comes with four). You can't go wrong with this!



2. This is the second Magnetix kit we have bought for our five year old son (he wanted colors). He plays for hours with them! It's wonderful to see his imagination come alive with this wonderful toy. I especially love this product because he will probably be able to play with them for years to come. I have a neighbor whose very bright fourteen year old son still plays (at a much more complex level) with Magnetix. You can't ask for a better value.



3. I bought this for my 12 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves it,very entertaining and educational. Would recommend for girls and boys.



4. This item was for my husband. It has alot of pieces that can easily be lost. The magnets are in flexible vinyl tubing with magnets at both ends, some of them are not flexible. There are small magnet balls and the metal rods to hang the magnets from. The main plate for support is plastic and can be broken. It is not fun enough for children. It shows how positive and negative ends of magnets work with each other. Overall, legos are more fun.



5. Comes with everything you need. Short parts, longer flexible ones, stand with rods that you can suspend your structures off. Good starter set for any kid.

5 comments about Building Imagination 80 Pieces Bag - Classic Colors by Mega Brands.

1. We picked up this set as well as a 40 pc set from local stores and our son, who is 18 months old loves stacking them and then taking them apart.
   
   We also have two other small sets that he got for his 1st birthday and all 150 pieces will fit into this 80 piece bag, which is very nice for storage.
   
   Keep an eye out for prices though. We picked up this 80 piece set with a $5 dollar off coupon at Baby's r Us for a total of $12. The 40 piece set at Toy's r Us was $10.
   
   I love Amazon but the $45 price tag I see on this set today is a bit ridiculous.



2. Purchased this set for a 2-year old grandson and he loves them. The pieces are large enough for him to handle, and fit together well enough to hold while moving it around.
   More blocks can be added to build just about anything he can dream of.
   Our other grandchildren (5-12 Y.O.) had their own sets and still break them out for the heck of it. Hopefully they'll pass them on to the younger ones, or to their children.



3. My 16 month old boy absolutely loves this toy. The set has a variety of sizes and colors that allow him to create anything. They stack together well and are also easy for him to take apart by himself. It is a toy that I'm sure he will enjoy for at least a couple more years. The only problem I have with this toy is the peices end up sprawled about the house, but honestly what else would you expect from a toddler?



4. I purchased this for my Godchild's little brother and it turned out to be a hit! They both love to play w/it. They are 2yr old twins, a boy & a girl, & they love to build break down & build again. They don't get tired. They get to use their imagination & put things together. I highly recommend it.



5. I really enjoy this set of blocks. It came with a set of cards that show a few building designs. Great fun for a little one.

5 comments about Mega Brands CAT 3-in-1 Jr. Ride-On Dump Truck.

1. This is a fun toy with realistic truck sounds. I think my son will get a lot of use out of it even when he can't "ride" on it anymore. My husband seems to enjoy it also! It makes a gear changing sound when it is rolled forward and a beeping sound when it is rolled backwards. It also has buttons with other sounds such as a horn and a dumping/lifting sound. I recommend it!



2. this truck is awesome. my son loves this. it is a big truck. looks small in the pic. my son loves to ride this and push it around. The sounds are great on this too. i love seeing him play with it. i would recommend this to anyone.



3. We purchased several ride on dump trucks for our son this Christmas and this is by far everyone's favorite. It has been age appropriate, realistic, fun, and completely wonderful for our pre-walker. It is parent friendly as it has a turn off switch that you can adjust the volume. We love the Mega Blocks that work with it as well.



4. My sons LOVED it!! Got it for a GREAT price for a Christmas gift. A quarter of the price that I paid for a Thomas the Train ride on and the kids rode this one much more. For the price of $12.00, absolutely couldn't beat it and have no regrets buying it. Even if I paid double, still a good deal considering the price of other ride ons like this. Has buttons that makes sounds consistent with a dump truck. Very cute, sturdy toy. Better made than others. The only things is that it's hard to get the dump truck part back into place to play with it rather than ride on it. It clips in place when it's up, hard to get it unclipped but otherwise, wouldn't have stopped me from purchasing.



5. This is a great toy i would recommend for any (walking)todler between 1 and 2. I bought it for my son(a 19 month old) as a christmas gift along with the mega brand blocks which i also recommend.I wasn't 2 sure about it after some of the reviews i read but something in me told me to try it for myself and i'm sure glad i did. From the moment my son first opened it he hasn't put it down(figuratively speaking). The look in his eyes and smile on his face everytime he plays with this toy is priceless.

1. My son really wanted a 'Mack' for his third birthday. I looked at all the options and this is the best. Most room for creative play, and he was able to assemble it himself after we showed him the first time. The smokestacks and mirrors come off kind of easily, but overall it's lots of fun, and not totally limiting the way the other Mack's are...



2. This is the best Mack we have found! It stays together well. The smokestacks do come off on occasion, but hey we can deal with that! My son doesn't even care, plus he can put them back on by himself. Some of the other Macks we have break into a million pieces, and no they are not lego! My son has driven this truck around for 3 days and the only thing that has come off were the smokestacks. He has put other cars besides mcqueen in the back and just loves it! It is easy for small hands and most of all, IT STAYS TOGETHER! This is a great toy! We got him this and the big pitcrew mack that opens up for Christmas. I'm glad we got this one, he hates the other one. It won't stay together. Same with the little mack set, he does like that one, but he can't put more than one car in the back. This Mack holds several of the diecast cars at once. My son has driven it all over the house and it stays connected well were it joins the truck and trailer too. BUY THIS ONE, don't waste your time or money on the others.



3. I got this for my 3 year old son. He's a huge "Cars" fan! I think it's actually showed him why Legos are cool because those Duplos he hasn't touched for months are one of his favorites! ;-)
   
   Not too difficult to build, easy instructions and a multiple play favorite!



4. This is the most played with toy that my almost-3-year old got for Christmas. He is a huge fan of the Cars movie and characters, and he and his 5-year old brother play with it every day. It's fun when it's all put together, and they take McQueen for a drive to California. It's fun to take apart and put back together in funny ways, like putting Mack's face in the back. Now that he has had a lot of practice, the older one can put Mack all back together correctly, but the younger one needs help. (Of course, it took an adult with directions the first time we put it together - it was a bit tricky). Today the 5-year old put it back together in a really creative way, so he's definitely using his building skills.
   
   I can't say enough good things about this toy - it has an immediate appeal, and it's creative enough to keep kids entertained time and time again, the way a good toy should be.

1. I bought this for my son when he was 2, and now almost three (in 3 days) he still plays with it. A good toy at a good price!



2. My 14 month old got this for Christmas (early present) and loves putting the cars in the lower area, closing it. Where the cars sit in the picture lifts up, the back end opens, then becomes a ramp which the cars the fly across the floor, ours is wood so they go far. He loves it and I am sure it will be a toy that sticks around in our house for more than a few months. Oh, and the cars come apart and can be put back together.



3. This has been a great product for the money. My son has played with it daily since Christmas. he loves putting the cars in the rig and letting them run down the ramp. He like taking the little cars apart and putting them back together. For the car lover this is a great choice. It is perfect for little hands.



4. We bought this for my son at Christmas (22 months) and he loves it - as well as his two other brothers (ages 3 and 4). For a boy who likes trucks - this is definitely a good buy (and durable too).



5. My son received this as a birthday present for his second birthday. He loves this truck and the cars that came with it. He also received other cars in the Mega Bloks brand (Lightning McQueen and Mater) and they also fit on the truck. No assembly required, no batteries needed, and all the parts move easily - even in a toddler's hands. The cars come apart into three pieces which is good for toddlers just learning to put things together. You can also mix and match and put a red front with a yellow back if you want. It's great to see toys that are toddler friendly but are "big kid" fun.
