1. We use gray squirrel at story time and do a little song with him ("Gray Squirrel, Gray Squirrel, Swish your bushy tail...) to start the session. He is a favorite with the kids.



2. I simply fell in love with this little guy. In a world of talking toys and electronic distractions, puppets provide gentle, invaluable opportunities for learning, including self-discovery, therapy, and storytelling.
   
   As a parent and a teacher, this puppet is by far one of the best I've found in a long time. It is well-made; the seams are tightly sewn, and the hand placement is comfortable for a variety of different hand-sizes - both child and adult. The little nut that he holds is attached by a very short, wide grosgrain ribbon (not a flimsy string). And unlike many stock puppets these days, this squirrel has tons of personality: after only a few minutes of interaction with my daughter, I almost forgot that he was a puppet at the end of my hand.

1. This little finger puppet is the cutest thing I have ever seen! It's large enough to not look like a regular finger puppet, but it's small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. It looks EXACTLY the way it does in the picture. I absolutely love this little thing!

1. I ordered this caterpillar as a fun little gift for my girlfriend, and although it is very nead and she loves it, it looks very different from the picture shown. The one I received is green corduroy, which is not what is shown in the picture. Nevertheless, it is still very cool.



2. Great for teaching metamorphosis lesson. The children loved to see the caterpillar becoming a butterfly.

1. I purchased this item for my 10 year old nephew. He loved it!



2. I got this penguin as a gift, paired with Sandra Boynton's book "My personal Penguin". It was perfect. My daughter loves to have the penguin 'read' her the book at bedtime. The penguin as finger puppet isn't the best, the hole for the finger is a bit large even for adult fingers. Overall this product is practically perfect in every way.

1. This finger puppet was of much higher quality than one would imagine for a toy of this nature. It's a far cry from a basic fabric finger puppet: very plush and dimensional and appealing. Beyond its entertainment value, this is a great item for someone seeking a small stuffed animal toy for a cute gift for any age recipient.



2. Kids just LOVE them! Nothing makes a bedtime story more interesting than having their stuffed-animal friends participate in them - and give them a goodnight peck in the end.
   
   It is never easy teaching our children the facts of life, cause and effect, decisions and consequences, rights and responsibilities. These finger puppets make it just a tad easier.
   Accurate and durable (not for unsupervised preschoolers though, they might bite off parts), I am sure you will find them precious too.
   
   I have a set of seven (a field mouse, a raccoon, a fox, a timber wolf, an owl, a black bear and a white bear) and I alternate them to keep things interesting. The owl makes only...rare appearances.

2. I bought this on a lark for my twin daughters, aged 18 months. They love to have the chipmunk "visit" during playtime, or as a distraction when their sharing skills need some redirection. He is easy to use and one of my daughters has tried, but falls over giggling when she realizes she can't quite get her little tiny fingers to make it move like I do. Great fn though, and please have available only when children are supervised - small enough to chomp on for young teethers!!

1. This little puppet is one of the best barn owl plushies that I've seen. Most of them get the animal's expression and attitude wrong, but this simple little puppet truly reflects the actual barn owl's attitude and look, especially when it's young. I love this little toy. 1. Folkmanis makes great looking puppets, and these mice are no exception. Plush products often have fairly inconsistent quality, but the four mice I ordered were all perfect. And these mice are just beautiful - among the nicest finger puppets I've ever seen. Being finger puppets, they are not very movable (these ones don't even bend very well), so all the action must come from gross movement. Most Folkmanis puppets are sufficiently stuffed that they could serve as traditional stuffed toys, with the added benefit of being puppets. I'm sure many children (and a fair number of adults) would greatly enjoy these mice even if they never once put them on a finger!

3. I love Folkmanis puppets! I used them in our church and have bought several "just because." This little guy looks very real and is well made. He can be played with by children or set on a shelf as part of a display. Very good value!
