  1. My son loves Go Diego Go. The sound is pretty clear and this is actually the best price you will find for this toy (I paid about 17.00 dollars). It has all the different sayings of Diego. Although pressing the stomach to make the doll talk can be a bit hard. Other than that, he likes it.

  2. I purchased this Diego for my son this past Christmas. It exceeded my expectations, the price was good and the doll has been able to withstand my son's rough play!! It is easy to clean and the "extras" that it came with are not so small that I had to take them away for fear of choking. I am very pleased with this product!

  1. Just purchased this for my 7 year old son that has cerebral palsey- He only has use of his right hand- this cartridge is perfect- game does not allow mistakes and can play this cartridge with only one hand and not both. Since my son has use of only one hand he has trouble playing the other vsmile games- he's hooked. Is very engaging also where some of the other games fall short.

  2. I bought this for my 5yo daughter. It's actually one of the better Dora games I've seen. Runs very similarly to the television show. Offers a little bit more Spanish than the show does. It's probably a tad on the 'easy' side for its age group though as my daughter didn't find it particularly difficult, but that didn't phase her interest any. It's now become one of her favorites V Smile games!

  3. I just purchased this game for my 3-1/2 year daughter. She is a Dora fan, so she wanted to play it immediately. She sat there and played the entire game in one sitting. Basically, Dora and Boots are on an adventure to help find pieces for Tico's aircraft. Swiper makes his regular appearances as well. I had to help her understand how to do something in a couple of places, but otherwise it was right at her level. She knows her numbers and colors and she was very excited that she was able to progress. The best part about the game, in my opinion, is that your little one will be able to make jumps without any problem. The Pooh game is her other favorite (and another great game), but she needs help in making some of the jumps. In the Dora game, Dora won't fall if you keep walking when you are supposed to jump - she just leans over on his tippie toes like she is going to fall. My daughter was especially proud of the fact that she was able to jump on the swinging vines. I highly recommend this game!!

  4. This game is great in that it teaches shapes, spatial skills, numbers, colors, skill development games, etc. There is a ton of hand holding in the game, as Dora isn't allowed to fall off a cliff or get hurt (compare to Pooh's game). Play is a bit slow also with regard to Dora's movements, especially compared to the Pooh Bear game, which is a bit more fast paced, although both are within the same age range. Thus, this game can be a bit painful for grownups while they are teaching their kids how to play it.

This game also emphasizes spanish translations a bit too much for colors, numbers, verbs, etc. which may or may not interest you as a parent. When I say too much, most times the words aren't even spoken in English, only Spanish. I think early on, focus/mastery should be on English rather than Spanish added into the mix, so it's a downpoint for me. This cartridge is probably more 3-5 rather than 4-6, but it teaches a lot, especially compared to Cars and Wiggles. This smartridge is definitely more learning game and less video game.

  5. This game is wonderful! My 4yo boy loves it and it's easy enough to play that I don't have to sit next to him to explain how to do every move.

5 comments about Twin's Furniture - Dora the Explorer Talking House.
  1. I purchased the Dora the Explorer Talking House Christmas 2005. It was a big hit with my than 3 year old daughter. I 've since added the nursery extension to the house. When the Twin's Furniture set came along, I included it on the Christmas 2006 shopping list. My daughter really enjoys the set. My only issue is that pieces (i.e. rocking horse and stroller) are not designed to securely accomodate the twin siblings.

  2. My five year old granddaughter and her brother both love this furniture. they play together wonderfully. with much conversation

  3. My daughter really loves playing with her Dora Doll house. The stroller and high chair are always out and fun to play with. The Twins and really sit on the rocking horse and they do not fall off.

  4. My little one loves to play with the twins. This furniture pack is a great addition to the house.

  5. Great addition to Dora house and the twins nursery. But how much Dora additions do you really need? However, it does give a toy (the Dora house) my daughter received two years ago a new twist and appeal. Even without all the additions the house has been a favorite of hers to play.

  1. Very durable and easy to program. No volume control and a little bit on the quiet side. I would recomend this for ages 2-3.

  2. Easy to program as long as you have the correct cord (not included). Our 1 year loves pushing the buttons and dancing to the ring tone music. Pretty durable, it's taken a beating being dropped from the high chair, stroller, etc on virtually a daily basis and keeps working so far, but we've only had the toy for over a little over a month.
For an educational perspective, it's nice that Dora teaches the numbers in both English and Spanish. Although, its a bit odd that they are grouped together -- as in Dora says 1,2,3 in both languages when you push any one of those buttons. The same for 4,5,6 and 7,8,9.
Overall, good fun and some learning thrown in.

  3. I bought this item for my two year old little girl and she loves it, the only issue I have is that it did not come with the usb cord. Luckily I had one for my camera and we didnt have to buy one, But just know if you buy this product you also have to buy the right cord to download the information. For the price they really should include the cable with the toy.

  4. I bought two(2) of these toys, months apart, for kids of diffrent friends of mine, both girls of course, they loved it, it comes with its own battery, so you dont have to worry about that, to programthe doll was easy, just as the instruction said. I recommend this product.Delivery of the doll was as would expected from amazon, on time and in good condition. The toy was fun for the girls who are dora Huge fans, there is a huge number of names to choose from on the site, with the different pronuncations, variations of name sounds. For me it was easy to set up, and fun to see the reations of the kids when, the first Dora called their names, as they played with the phone.

  1. This was our first Leap Pad book and our daughter loves it! She plays with this for up to an hour and she's not even 2 yet. The games are educational yet fun! I wish more of the Leap Pad books were this great. Stay away from the Princess Counting Tales.

  2. My daughter can't get enough of Dora and plays with the leap pad all the time. She's two years old and its really teaching her a lot of things. I recommend this to any parent that wants their child to educate themselves and have fun all at the same time.

  3. My 4 year old loves Dora. She sees other kids playing video games but we don't want her to get into that kind of habit. When I need to get things done around the house, that's when I let her play with it. She loves singing and dancing to the song and has fun playing the games. Since she is learning how to read now, this toy reinforces her word recognition skill.

  4. My 3 year old got this with her first leappad and adores Dora, so it was an immediate hit. She listens, repeats and plays quietly for ages.
Well worth a buy for any Dora fan.

  5. My daughter likes this game very well. She plays it every night just before going to bed. I have had no problems with it. She has already mastered all the games on it though within the first day she had it.

  1. This is a wonderful product even at the money they want for it on Amazon.com. But I got it at Walmart.com for $10.00 plus shipping. It came to $16.00. So as with life look around before you buy.

  2. I brought a dollhouse for my 2 year old at a secondhand sale and wanted some furniture to fill it with. I didn't want anything with too many little parts. This set is perfect. It is just right for her as it is chunkier for her to hold and the fact that she loves Dora is a plus. One word of warning. Do not buy this set here. I brought mine on walmart.com for $10 plus 97c shipping!!! The price they want here doesn't make sense.

  3. I bought this pack of furniture for my 2 year old daughter's "Dora's Castle" that someone gave her (it doesn't come with furniture.) I didn't buy the Castle furniture because it was ridiculously expensive. This stuff fits in the castle just fine and she likes it. I guess the Castle furniture might do some special things, but she doesn't know the difference (neither do I) and the bigger furniture pieces do some converting of their own (i.e. Dora's bed converts to bunk beds, the coffee table can have either a tea set or crayons showing...) If the kid knows that the magical castle is supposed to have magical furniture, this might be a problem, but like I said, my daughter doesn't know the difference, so this did just fine, for a fraction of the price.

  4. I have never been not pleased with any item that I have gotten through Amazon, this included.

  1. This is a delightful toy! My 5 year old granddaughter with Down Syndrome spends alot of time in front of her TV singing and dancing to all the Dora Musical DVD's. She has them all memorized. I thought she would love this and for sure she does. It has great songs and is easy to keep up with. The quality is fantastic and the music is clear, great toy for any child who loves Dora and dancing and singing.

  2. This is the cutest DVD. I find myself singing the songs at work. My 2 year old loves to put on her Dora outfit and run around the room shaking the maracas. It is precious. I would recommend this to anyone.

  3. I gave this to my 2 yr old niece for her birthday. She LOVES IT!! Her parents can finally have a quiet dinner. They just put on "Dora Dance"
She is constantly asking for "Dora Dance". She immediatly takes her clothes off, puts on the Dora clothes, grabs the Maracas and is ready to dance. The dance pad is not connected to anything so no need to worry about cords.
I would recommend if your child likes Dora the Explorer.
    Great product!

  1. I actually purchased these to top her 2nd birthday cake. Bonus now she can keep them and use them in the bath every night.

  2. My 2 year old is in love with Dora, so I thought this would be a great present for her. I was excited when I got the package, but a tad bit disappointed by the size. She loves them either way, but the one with Dora riding the blue dragon doest stay afloat it tilts to the side, so Dora is drowning.

  3. Cute little bath toys. They're much smaller than I expected and hard to squeeze. My daughter prefers the duckie and Boots - doesn't pay much attention to the other two. I probably wouldn't recommend to a friend.

  4. These are cute...your typical bath squirters. My 1 year old likes them but they are very small...about the size of a golfball. He has other bath squirters that are bigger and easier to use and I thought these would be bigger than they are.

  5. They're cute & that's all I say. They fall over don't squit well. Plus, the pait chips really bad & I didn't have them that long! They are not a must have!

5 comments about LeapFrog ClickStart Educational Software: Dora the Explorer - Friends! !Amigos!.
  1. Dora the Explorer is a favorite of my 4 year old grandson. This software has a 2 part benefit for children. Learning in English and in Spanish. Dora and her adventures provide hours of fun while learning to count, learn colors, matching pairs, and shapes in English and Spanish. Their are 2 learning levels allowing the child to build their way to more challenging games and adventures as they learn.

  2. Dora is one of the best games for the Clickstart...mostly because Dora is such a popular character and she is fun to "play" on the computer. The game is eduational as it teaches shapes and letters.

From the main menu you have the choice to play one of three games. Then you can pick a level (level 1 or level 2). I will speak about level 1 as that is what I am familiar with with my 3yo. The first game the player uses the arrow keys to walk across a bridge and to push shapes into holes. If a star appears, the player can "jump" to collect stars. (not too much education in this game but fun). The second game the player uses the arrow keys to walk along stepping stones over a body of water to collect letters and stars. It teaches arrow navigation and letter recognition. The third game displays a gate where (around 12?) shapes are displayed. The player has to used the mouse to click on the shapes to make pairs. In level 2 the shapes are all flipped so it is more like the game Memory.

It is a fun game and somewhat teaches letters and shapes...moreso computer navigation. But it is very fun and a favorite of my kids.

  3. excellent educational software.. the instructions are easy to follow, and my 3 year son loves it!!!!!!!

  4. For any little girl who loves Dora, this is the game! My daughter asks all day when she can play her Dora game. It was definitely worth the $20. That said, I really with LeapFrog would have thought of their customers a little more. I'd buy it again and recommend it BUT 3 games? That's all we get for $20? I can tell that my daughter will probably be bored with this game within a few weeks even with as much as she loves Dora, so I am a little disappointed with that.

  5. I got this game plus the Click Start computer because my 2 year old loves playing games on nickjr.com. I was hoping to lure her away from the computer with this game. But it really does not compare to the games on nickjr.com. The graphics are like Atari-days - giant pixels. And the games just aren't as engaging. She'll play with it for a couple of minutes and then asks to go use the real computer.

  1. This toy is very large and sturdy. My 3 1/2 year old loves it. My only complaint is that it didn't come with a Dora figure. I purchased many Dora doll house items this year and none of them come with the dolls. The only way I have found to get the Dora and other family members is to purchase the very expensive doll house. It would be nice to have the option to purchase extra people separately.

  2. This was a Christmas present for my almost 3 year old daughter. She loves Dora and she loves ponies and I loved Amazon's sale. So the toy is good overall with a couple of flaws. The tailgate to the truck comes off a lot and the sides to the stable also come apart. This is easily fixed by snapping them back on but I'm afraid after too many times they will break for good. The other flaw would be no Dora doll to drive. We had purchased a Dora & Pony set to go with this toy so it didn't matter to us, but if we hadn't we would have been in trouble. I almost gave this toy 3 stars because of the issues, but the fact that my daughter likes it alot and plays with it alot got it 4 stars. One funny note - We got this toy in the French speaking version on accident (amazon quickly fixed the mistake) I try to explain it to my daughter and she tells me that it's not French it's Hola.

  3. I bought this toy for my granddaughter's birthday. We live next to a rodeo arena and she is fascinated by the horses and trailers. She absolutely adores this, the only thing bad I have to say about it, is that I wish I would have payed attention and noticed that it did not come with a Dora poseable figure and I am having trouble finding one. The toy seems to be well made.
