1. I bought this for my 18 month old daughter. She is able to get in and out of the chairs all by herself and loves sitting at the table and coloring. The chairs are very sturdy - enough for an adult to sit on - and the table cleans really easily. A Mr. Clean magic eraser wipes crayons off the table top without much effort. This was well worth the money and I think we will have it for years to come.

1. Two grandsons, ages 4 and 7 chose to spend a lot of their time on Christmas Day doing creative art with these kits rather than playing with their many other new toys. What more could you want?



2. My four-year-old daughter loves this kit--the gel sticks are a joy to work with (I love to use them, too!) and their colors are gorgeous and vibrant. She vastly prefers them to markers and crayons, and I'm grateful that they're even easier to clean up. With very heavy use there is still a lot of material left in each stick, but when the sticks do run out we'll be buying this kit again.

1. If you have a young budding author this is the product for you. My daughter was thrilled to be able to create her own books.



2. Great idea, although quality was a bit compromised (tear in one of the pages, several pages stuck together). I love the idea of the books, though!!



3. My grandkids LOVED these books. Pictures that I had taken were easily placed in the books. The kids wrote their thoughts underneath. This is an item that they will keep and someday show their own children!!! Going to buy many more sets!!!

1. I have a two boys (ages 2 and 4) and they just love these trucks. The trucks seem durable and easy to use. The stickers are a great project to do with them but the hours of zooming around the house are the best part.

1. Our seven year old granddaughter loves this toy, but we did find one problem. The nail dryer stopped working after only a few uses. We tried new batteries, but still nothing. She still enjoys the rest of it, especially the nail decals and buffer.

1. ...why not buy the materials at your local "superstore" -- clay for the body, paint and other decorations, wire for the wings and antennae, fabric and/or yarn for the wings, hangers...and THEN you can make just about ANYTHING -- beetles, aliens, fairies, rocketships, hot rods!!!...creativity to the extreme!



2. My daughter loved these butterflies she was able to decorate them any way she wished and she loved them.



3. My daughter got 2 of these for her 5th birthday. We had fun doing the 1st one, so we are keeping the 2nd one too!



4. My six-year-old did a beautiful job on these butterflies. She really enjoys art projects and is really proud that she created the beautiful butterflies that are hanging in her room. I've seen "professionally" completed butterflies sold in catologues at a much higher price ... these are half the price and your little girl gets a boost of self-esteem by doing the finishing touches herself.



5. This item was a gift for my 7 year-old niece. She LOVED it and it kept her busy for hours. The only problem was keeping her little sister away while she worked on her unique and very pretty designs! Thanks!

   I just put together the easel for my three grandsons ages 4,6, and 8 years. I'm extremely pleased with the quality of this product, so much so that I'm ordering another one today. Some reviews mentioned the poor quality of the chalkboard, yet I believe those customers did not follow directions to first cover the board in chalk, then rub with a dry paper towel, then erase, then use. I did that and the chalk worked beautifully. I'm pleased with the Deluxe Easel Companion Set and 3 pack bundle of paper which I also ordered. A great product for the aspiring artists in your life...grandma will probably use it too!



2. I bought 2 of these, one for my 2 year old, and one for her friend's birthday. My daughter LOVES it, and the lowest setting is perfect for her. I don't know if they changed the chalkboard, but we didn't have the problems others complained about. I must say I didn't even "season" the board, and it works perfectly ( I had some crayola chalk on hand, and she can draw without problems, and there are no visible scratches). Only thing that is a bit annoying are the colorful screws that hold the whole thing together - they are indeed a bit tempting for her (I have to tighten them every day :) but it's worth the trouble ).
   The boards for one of the easels were damaged, but Melissa&Doug replaced them promptly so I can't complain about that.
   It seems to be very sturdy, and I hope she'll enjoy it for years to come.



3. This is a very nice sturdy easel and is fairly easy to assemble even for an essembly challenged person like myself. My 5 year old grandaughter was thrilled with it.



4. I've been shopping around for my 2yo's first art easel, and this is by far the easiest to assemble, the most affordable, and the most space-conscious for my small apartment. my son loves creating a painting every afternoon. get the super saver shipping - it arrived within 3 days by UPS (I was expecting the horrid post office delivery notice), and i saved a TON!



5. My kids LOVE this and since getting it from Santa, they have really blossomed into little artists! It folds up nicely (the reason why I got rid of our first easel that didn't fold up).
   
   Definately buy the accessory kit and aprons and extra paper rolls.
   
   The only complaint; the knobs that hold the whole thing together are too easy to remove by children, even if tightened with tools. I keep losing them from my 4 year old that likes to take them off all the time. I think I need to order more knobs now.
