- I think all the Bionicles are great. They spur the imagination, get the creative juices flowing, and build fine motor skills. My grandsons don't care anything about these reasons. They just love Bionicles. Their ages are 4 and 11.
- My 13 year old son is into Bionicles and has all of them from when they first came out. He loves all the new ones that come out and it is great to see a teenager so interested and enjoying putting these tiny pieces together. My son loves all of the Bioncles collection
- One of my sons had been wanting this particular Bionicle for a while...So when he finally got it, he couldn't have been more thrilled! He totally loves it and plays with all of his Bionicles often!
- My son loves Bionicles. He ordered this one and it came really fast. Thanks for your service.

- This set surprised me when I first got it. It is bright orange and contains some new pieces! I switched the arms and legs around because the bent legs don't look good as legs. They look better as arms. The head is transparent green with a socket instead of a ball, so if the socket cracks you'll have to get a replacement. There is also a jetpack on back.
This set can combine with Pohatu for even more fun.

- According to my son: very fun building toy. squid shooter doesn't work well, but I still like the toy a lot. I recommend it for 6 and older. I like the way he looks and would suggest anyone buy him.

- My 5 year old son has recently become enthralled with Bionicles. This particular purchase was just the right incentive for him. He was able to put most of it together himself. The little ship this bionicle rides on was a bit harder and he asked for help with that, but I was pleased at how his excitement for this toy helps him figure out the instructions and accurately build things. Of course, it does come apart, but for my son that is part of the fun. He likes to switch the weapons and masks around and has a great time mixing the bionicles up. This is a toy I would buy again.

- This is a good set to buy. It has a good amount of pieces and is very poseable. It has wings that can move in quite a lot of different poses. The tridax pod (the orange pieces in the chest)contain the shadow leeches. It comes with four blue shadow leeches and is designed to fall out if you press on the back. The new pieces are the tridax pod pieces, the mask, the claws, the wings, the shadow leeches, the tridax pod holder, the body, and some of the hand pieces, which are slightly changed but still work the same way.
- I have a 13 year old son, and an 8 year old son. The younger one has tons of fun playing make belief with the whole collection, and almost all the past collections (Big Fans). My 13 year old did use to play with them, but now he sketches them, and he told me that it is always nice to see new faces and bodies on these toys. So one plays with, one draws them. I am happy ;)

- This is a fun toy. There is a lot of pieces but thats half the fun! It does glow in the dark but its not all over. Just in a few select places. So if your wanting the whole Nocturn to glow...it doesn't.
If your a bionicle fan like I am, this is a must have piece!
- My son likes this light up edition to his Boionicle collection. He puts them together really fast, 5minutes, so this was a little more challengeing taking 10 minutes.

- Okay. The design and the possibilities are great. The build is good, the backstory is awesome, and it doesn't take too long to build. The only problem is the same one for all the Barraki: the squids. They are the absolute worst thing I've ever seen. They're next-to-impossible to launch, and even then they never go anywhere. The toy stands up pretty well, but has a thing about pieces breaking now and then. There's no educational value in a toy like this, which is part of the fun. All in all, it's pretty good, [...]
- Have two boys, and both love the Bionicle Line by Lego. They got all the movies that came out, and they play with these toys all the time. Everytime a new line comes up I buy the whole set. So far it never failed me. Tons of fun with pretend play. And very educational (with the first set I ended up building them, but now they just do it themselves). I hav an 8 y/o and 11 y/o.

- This is a good set to buy. It contains all new pieces except for the weapons and feet. It has a jetpack on the back but sometimes the already bent arms can be a problem for posing and other things. This toy is tall for a matoran set.
- I got Tanma here the other day. He is big fun! I really like the bent arms- I just wish they were articulated... but no big issue there. It looks like Matoran are going to have weapons from now on... which is cool. Most of the pieces in this set are brand new- never before usedm which is always a plus.
He's also got a jetpack. The pinnacle of coolness.
The biggest fun, though, is if you get him along with Toa Lewa Nuva. Their masks look like they go together- they aren't the same, but they are just similar enough. Plus, Tanma attaches to Lewa's back. Fun!
- My 5 year old son was really thrilled with this toy. It hooks onto the larger Toa Lewa Bionicle which he already owned. He has a great time hooking them together or changing around their masks and such. It only had 4 steps to put it together and he was able to do it all himself. He really enjoyed that.

- This is a great set to buy. I like how tall he is, and the jetpack on his arms. He also carries the Midak Skyblaster. It contains 4 silver spheres that are the same as Zamors and is easy to fire. The new pieces are the Midak Skyblaster, the mask, the weapon, the jetpacks, and the hands, which are a little different from earlier sets. I recommend this set to anyone.
- Lewa here is the first of the 2008 Toa I got, and won't be the last!
First off, he's Lewa, right? So if you've seen Bionicle: Mask of Light- you know you have to love him.
This new Lewa is awesome. Tall, cool looking. I'm pretty into this new lime green color. He's got plenty of new parts to get old-school Bionicle fans excioted:
Sword- big and intimidating!
Mask- As a MOC'er, I'm always thrilled to see a new mask style
Spikey wing-like things that reach over his shoulders. I don't know what they're for, but they look sweet.
Jetpacks- yes jetpacks! I always thought of Tahu as more jetpack-y, but maybe that's because Lewa could fly already. Either way, they are awesome.
I also got Tanma- who seems to me Lewa's Matoran partner. Their masks- while different- look similar. Plus, the two figures attach to each other, looking like Lewa is carrying Tanma through the sky. Jetpacks, y'all!
This year's Bionicle sets look like they're going to be fun. Seems like someone at Lego got a big creative inspiration.
