1. Like most every game for this system (thus far), the age printed on the box for the would be buyer is not always honest, until now. "Barney: The Land Of Make Believe" (3-5 years) is the lone exception. Also like most the other vsmile games, Barney has excellent character similarities as to the TV show. The Graphics are fine. The music is also similar to the TV show. For easy & immediate play, choose the Learning Zone, all of which are the easiest to play + win, unlike past games & the game play is quite excellent, no boring & pasty short games, the replay value on the Learning Zone is a 10 out of 10, it's done perfectly. The Learning Adventure on the other hand has some unnecessary + boring selections like the 1st (numbers) & last (directions). Yes the game is not perfect, but it has more then enough of fun activates that will not get boring, until your child turns 6. ENJOY!



2. We just got my son a VSmile for Christmas. He just turned three and to be honest I thought it would be more of a toy he would "grow into". Along with the game the unit comes with he received the Wiggles, Barney, and Bob the Builder. I had actually read reveiws and had told people to get Dora and Winnie the Pooh but they were unable to find them so they he got these games instead. The Wiggles and Bob the Builder games both lived up to their horrible reviews. Too hard for a three year old and they won't be interesting for an older child. However, the Barney game was a different story. My three year old loves this game. Yes the fundamental learning skill are very basic- counting, colors, letter recognition, etc- but the activities are really geared toward three year olds. There are actually some parts of the game that my son can play all by himself. We are very happy that he has this game to learn on without getting frustrated.



3. Barney and friends is better then some others but not as much fun as Winnie the Pooh.

1. ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT MY GRANDDAUGHTER WAS SO EXCITED AND HUGGED HIM AND DANCED AROUND THE ROOM, SHE IS 18 MONTHS. SO GLAD YOU HAD ONE.



2. Arrived quick and clean. Only concern was that Barney came unpackaged and just stuffed in a shipping box. Where he came from or what the original box may or may not have said is unknown. The doll it self was fine and the grandson loves the hell out of it. Hell if I know what it is about that purple dinosaur that makes small children loose their minds!

1. I was very happy that Amazon has Barney toys. My daughter loves Barney and all the characters and you cannot find many toys in the stores so it was nice to get her something she really wanted and have it delivered to our door. It was a little expensive for the size, but she still loved it so it was worth it.

1. This toy was a hit with my 2-year-old daughter. It encourages imaginative play and singing. I've even gotten her to eat her vegetables by pretending to feed some to Barney. It would have been nice if it was larger, but it's the perfect size for a 2-year-old to tote around (and she takes it EVERYWHERE).



2. The toy arrived within 2 days. I just wish I had checked Walmart, I found the same toy there that also included Barney DVD's. They also had BJ and Bop there. I had checked Walmart before and not seen anything Barney. Then the week after I got this, it was suddenly in Walmart. It's too much of a hassle to return. But otherwise I have no complaints, oh except the Barney in Walmart was 12.88 and includes a DVD. This one was a total of 26.00 with s&h.



3. I am a first time customer with Amazon shop online and I have never'd had any problems with my purchases, they are really efficient with everything they do!!!!! Amazon is the way to go!!



4. The singing voice seems to be the same voice on the TV show & videos with pleasing sound quality & volume. The physical likeness is spot-on as well. Well made product - much better than a lot of the cheap, weird sounding imitation Barney's that I have come across - and my 15 month old has hated.



5. I bought this stuffed Barney for my 1 year old grandbaby and everytime we put Barney on TV he looks for his Barney toy and hugs it and trys to sing with it. How cute this toy is. I highly recommend it.

1. I bought this for my 6 year old foster child. She cuddled it right away, but unfortunately was sick the first night all over it. But I hand washed it and laid it out to dry for 3 days, and to my delight Barney still sang. The only drawback is that it is NOT Barney's voice singing.



2. This Barney Doll is very soft for babies and kids. This is not like other singing dolls, it is pretty safe and kids are unable to remove the battery inside (the battery pack is very hard to remove for them) which makes the toy very safe. Also, the size is ok for a kid.
   
   Unfortunately this doll only came with one Barney's song.



3. This barney doll was perfect for my little girl, she is able to carry it everywhere, and its not hard to make the song play by pressing his stomach, she loves it.



4. My daughter Katie loves the Barney doll. She sings with the toy and watches the viedos. The videos have taught her to share toys and sing and dance and excerise...It is a great toy.



5. The only problem is that the box that you push to get Barney to sing is not on the "I Love You" emblem on his stomach--it was difficult for my 18 month old to find where to "press" to get the toy to sing.

1. Yes, shame on us for wanting to buy something that will bring joy to our children's faces. Which do you really think a child is going to remember when they are older? A strict learning environment or the joy and love you gave them? If your child likes Barney, then I do not see the harm is providing them with something that will make them happy. I'm glad I didn't grow up in your household.



2. After reading the previous reviews, i side myself with the man who believes that this toy is not a sufficient toy for the intellicually growing mind of your child. like the other customer who shares my views on this abominable object of degection and horror, i believe that this so called toy is not the way to get your chil any smarter. this purple reptile is not only the worset seven dollars i have ever spend, but every time my child tried to learn for this "toy", he cried and screamed "Why does this toy not make me a better person". shame on all you who believe this object of sin and terror is a suitable toy for your child. you will regret this in the future. my own hcild recognizes this horrible toy. in all, this is not the toy for you if you wat your child to be intellectually stimulated. ps, my sincere thanks to the premier author of that wonderful review and i just want to tell you to say strong through these terrile comments you recieve

   This toy was great for my 3 year old son. He loves to play with it every day, and likes to suck on Barney's toes. Despite the previous 3 reviews, I think this toy is a great addition to any child's toy collection, because they can relate to the show, which my son loves, by the way. I think it is necessary to be the first person to write a serious review, since the last three seem to be either jokes or personal stabs at eachother. The honest truth is that this is a great toy that is inexpensive, and will bring joy to your child's face. In 10 years from now, my son will remember this toy, and the love and affection which we provided him with. It does not matter if your children don't find the toy "compatible" or "sinful." Shame on you all for plaguing Amazon's website with insignificant and unhelpful comments. Because of your negative reviews, you may actually turn innocent parents away from purchasing an excellent plushie for their children. I'm am telling you now that there is nothing sinful about this product, and I strongly recommend treating your son or daughter with his/her First 10" Barney Plush.



4. For anyone calling this an "educational" toy... WHat are you thinking??? This is a doll. Something for your child to hold and cuddle. My son loves Barney and loves his doll. It's the best thing I ever purchased. This doll does not speak, teach or have button or zippers or snapps. It's a doll. Why are people getting upset about this? Get over it and grow up !!! It's not supposed to make you happy, it's for your child.



5. When I realized how much my son loved Barney, I decided to get the plush toy for him. I was very happy to find something for him that didn't talk, flash, sing, or count. I don't find electronic toys "educational" - in fact I find them somewhat obnoxious and a hindrance to creativity and imagination. He loves it.

1. this is a great toy because I don't have to stop doing what I am in the middle of to help my child go from one site to another. I do wish there were more PBS kid sites available like "Super Why" & "Word World".
