5 comments about Air Hogs Counterstrike Air Rocket.
- My son received this as a xmas gift. The launcher was jammed to start. Got that fixed and it did launch really high. Very cool! For all of four launches. Then the wire pulled out of the launch handle. We took it apart and reattached it but it would never work right. The wire won't retract around the wheel inside the handle and the launcher stays jammed as well. What a disappointment. Not recommended. We have had other air hogs toys in the past and they have broken quickly too. Cool design but really lousy construction.
- My 8 year old son loves this gift he received at Christmas. His little sister enjoys it too. The first time they used it outside I heard the screams of excitement and my husband said, "You really need to come out here and see how high this thing can go." It's unbelievable and it's so much fun to watch the kids play with it. The only thing I wish is that they sold "replacement rockets" for this item.
We have had it for 6 months and it still works, however, if there was a problem I'm not sure the company would be much help. I tried to reach the company to purchase another Counterstrike Air Rocket and they were not very receptive. It's a UK company, so they told me to email the US subsidiary and that was a bust. Then I found it on Amazon!!
- My two youngs sons, ages 5 & 7, immediately opened-up the rocket launcher and assembled the pieces together. We have owned one of these toys before, however, it has been a couple of years and it has since been misplaced. We followed the launching sequence as instructed and discovered the launch pad holding the rocket failed to stay upright (listed to one-side) and the rocket could not be discharged from the base for some reason. After several failed attempts to resolve the problem, my sons disappointment grew stronger and we decided to play with another toy. I discarded the rocket launcher after several more attempts to "make it work," because the return/exchange process through [...] would be too laborious. :( Thanks anyway, [...]. I wish I could find this toy locally so I could give it another chance to entertain my kids.
- These rockets are amazing when they launch--they go very high in the air and always come down to earth nose first. My only complaint is that sometimes after the 15 pumps, the rocket does not launch. I can't tell if it's a matter of placement (concrete sidewalk vs. grass) or if there is a faulty connection somewhere with the cord from the launcher to the pump handle, or if it's simply operator error. In any event, approx. 25% of the time, our rockets don't launch and we have to start over.
That said, however, our 5 year old son absolutely loves launching the rockets and seeing how high they travel. He's a big fan of rockets and this is the one toy rocket we have that actually goes high into the sky.
- My son got one of these for his birthday. So I looked here to find somemore for my nephews for christmas. My son is constantly out side launching rockets. He loves it. And as an adult i love to watch him launch it!
The ONLY downfall is that they dont sell extra rockets.

1 comments about Aero Ace Us Jet Fighter Black Channel B Air Hogs R/C.
- In the past two weeks I've purchase All 3 Aero Ace models. The bi-plane, fighter, and this one the Jet. I also, own the mini-Storm Launcher. Of all the years I've purchased 'affordable' flying toys. These are by far the best ever! Myself, my wife, and two kids(9 & 10) are all able to fly all of these with just a little effort, and no previous experience.
This model, 'the jet', is probly the fastest(needs a little more space), handles higher winds well(as compared to the others, seems to prefer a little wind) climbs well and soars downward like the space shuttle, to a perfect landing everytime, just let off the controls. This one tends to require a bit more throttle than the others and therefore kills batteries a little quicker, 6AA batteries gets 6-10 charges, depending on quality. Charging takes longer as batteries die. Typically a 20-30 minute charge yields 12-15+ minutes of flight time. Full throttle all the way gets the 12 minutes.
These things gain 'lift' at full throttle and settle into a nice cruise at lower throttle levels. Cruise and sail about and you'll easily stay up over 15 minutes. Again, this one needs about half throttle to stay aloft. The 'jet' model has a moderate chance of soaring away from you, but it will gently land when out of range, though it'll go awhile.
*****Also, TAKE NOTE - I would not recommend putting the decals on. All three models flew best WITHOUT the supplied devals. The planes are colorer/patterned out of the box. The decals seem to only add weight and drag. However, they probably will add some structural support. I have not found strenth to be a problem, we've crashed all of ours hundered of times, they continue to survive, undamaged with only surface blemishes.
I'm telling you this model flies well! I can just throw it straight up into the air, hit the throttle and it'll stall, level out, and take off.
Just as note: by contrast, the other two Air Hogs Aero Ace models, the bi-plane, and fighter;
the bi-place is the slowest, but flies great. Just trugs alog like a fling tank. Handles higher winds well, this one stays up the easiest with no effort, just full throttle. Doesn't cruise as well as the others. Nice acrobatice(jet plane, is hardly acrobatic, though manueverable) Will not easily get away from you. Let off the controls and it spirals slowly downward.
The 'fighter' is he the best soarer. Has ALOT of lift, mine must 'cruise' at the lowest throttle setting only(throttle on these things seeem to have about 6 steps) Anything higher than level 1 on the fighter and it climbs altitude quick. also, a headwind will cause the same effect with no control, be careful. The fighter model will soar away from you the easiest, even when you let off the controls. The wind will take this one away. By far the most acrobatic and manueverable. This is the hardest to fly in my opinion. Delicate throttle control and light, pre-streering is required and compared to the other Aero Ace's. Not the best for beginners. Stick with the bi-plane or jet.
A quick note here about the mini-storm launcher. Similar to the others with a few key differences. 1>It has wheels, it can take off and land. Also, works in snow(NO WATER). 2>Flies like a flying carpet. handles winds well, reasonably controlled, yet wobbly flying. It is fun. Will not easliy soar away. Takes 8AA batts(instead of 6)Takes 10 of so minutes longer to charge.
Hope this helps everyone choose the right plane for them. These are the experiences gathered as my family and myself enjoy these wonderful toys. My children tend to fly them as much as possible. GREAT FUN!! All spectators passing by have been impressed. Especially when I tell them the Price $$$$$ 29.99. Can't be beat!
We fly these in about a half-acre of space at minimum and find that
1-1/2+ is really nice. Bi-plane works best in small spaces and the more wind, the more space needed!
Happy Flying!!!

4 comments about Air Hogs Storm Launcher Replacement Battery - Gray.
- The rechargeable battery lasted for approx. 5 minutes once fully charged. After five minutes it did not have enough power to allow the air hog to fly. I would not recommend this as a buy.
- please this battery doesn't work at all, less than 5 minutes and let me tell you if the battery gets discharged in the middle of a lake you will need a real boat to get your storm launcher back, i wouldn't mind to pay a few plus dollars just to have more time to enjoy my storm launcher.
- This battery is a JOKE!!! You charge it for four hours and you are lucky if you can get 5 minutes of flight time before the battery dies. A disgrace, as is the junky plane made of styrofoam. You pay $100 for a toy, it would be nice if it flew for more than five minutes and didn't break into pieces on every landing.
- well, the storm launcher is tons of fun to fly, but... 1. the battery is not included so you have to buy this battery 2. the battery takes hours to charge but only lasts 10 minutes, if you are not flying the storm launcher i recomend that you buy MULTIPLE batteries if you are planning a nice fun day flying the storm launcher in a park

2 comments about Air Hogs R/C AH-64 Apache Havoc Heli Indoor Infrared Micro Helicopter.
- This is my first r/c aircraft, and it is AWESOME!!!! It charges in about 20 minutes from almost nothing, then gets you about 8-10 minutes of flight time. You can crash this thing into almost anything (and shoot it with a high powered Nerf gun, as some of my friends did) and it keeps flying. I've hit walls, the ceiling, family members, guests... My one complaint really isn't a problem if you fly right, but my golden retriever sheds like a dog (no pun intended), and if you hit the floor too often and then try to lift off from the floor, eventually dog hair gets wrapped around the tail rotor, making you stop, take the rotor off, clean off the dog hair, snap it on, and continue flying. I bought this at Target for like 30$. This is a great gift for anyone who likes aircraft.
- My younger adult son bought me (his father) and my older son each one for Christmas....how cool to be a kid again.. forgot how much fun. Also my dog loves chasing this helicopter. It is very durable for the price and material used. Yes, it can break, but only after a number of crashes into almost everything, including the dogs teeth! This is a great product for the price, I sure hope it comes back!

5 comments about Replacement Main Rotor for Mini Infrared Remote Control Electric Helicopters.
- I bought this after crashing my Air Hogs Havoc Heli into a wooden block, which broke its main rotor and also managed to knock something loose in/near the internal motor (side note: avoid air hogs products for this reason...go with a syma fairy or picco z). Anyway, the replacement rotor fit great...all I had to do was pry off the original one (no eaasy task, by the way) and this one fit snugly.
- I have been very pleased with this replacement rotor for my mini-helicopter (I think it's a Havoc but the box doesn't say)! I received and installed the new rotor and my heli flies just as well as it did before and the new rotor does seem to take much more abuse without falling apart like the original one did.
Contrary to some opinions, I found that the new rotor is easy to replace using two medium length needle nose pliers.
1. WITHOUT HOLDING THE BODY OF THE HELICOPTER, grip the metal shaft that is visible between the body and black plastic of the currently installed rotor with one pair of pliers
NOTE: If you try and hold just the foam body of the helicopter you risk damaging the gears, body, and rotor shaft.
2. WITHOUT TOUCHING THE HELICOPTER BODY and while continuing to grip the metal rotor shaft (grip tightly, if the pliers slip they can damage the body), use the other pair of pliers to grip the plastic shaft attached to the rotor blades and gently slide up and off the metal shaft.
3. While continuing to grip the metal rotor shaft with the first pair of pliers, insert the metal shaft into the plastic hole of the new rotor.
4. Carefully but firmly press the new rotor into place taking care not to bend or stress the metal shaft.
Voila, you should be ready to rock and roll! The complete replacement process took me about 45 seconds.
- Blade wasn't exactly as pictured but it worked. Top blade is just counterweigts. A little heavier than original so it bogs down just a bit now.
- Rotor was broken upon arrival. Too inexpensive to return. No worth my time to package up and send back.
- I bought replacement main & tail rotors for my Air Hog R/C helicoptor I have. I've not yet had to replace them, so can't really rate their performance, but they look fine.

5 comments about Air Hogs Apache Havoc Helicopter.
- When i bought this product for my son, it worked fine. it was easy to control, and was very durable. However, 6 hours later the helicopter would not charge for more than 10 seconds. So i bought another one, the same kind as before, and the helicopter could not fly strait after 2 hours. my friends son has the other air hogs havoc, which has white and blue on it. the link is right here: Spinmaster Air Hogs Havoc Heli (Colors May Vary)it has a longer battery, and it much more durable. in conclusion, DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! you might as well buy a better helicopter for less money!
- Great fun but for the price it didn't last long. After a couple of weeks the battery wouldn't charge. I bought a $15 one at the same time. Just as much fun and it's still flying.
- The helicopter is a lot of fun. I probably have as much fun with it as the kids. Just make sure who you buy it from. I bought it from Family Fun Shoppe here on Amazon for close to $100 with shipping. When I received it, it had a Target tag on it, and costs $25 at Target. They bought it at Target for $25, and sold Amazon for $88. Reading Family Fun Shoppes reviews....they do quite a bit of gouging.
Getting back to the helicopter....it's definitely worth $25!!
- Very Impressed with this toy, had it flying in the office and the whole office stopped what they were doing to see it fly. I had a CSM stop by and try it out for five seconds and he became a kid again. It trully brings out the child in you. From what I have experience with the helicopter it's very durable, its been hitting walls, wires and even people and it still flies. If for some reason it broke, I would buy another one, very happy with this small investment.
- Havoc R/C Helicopter - Red
This little guy is a riot. I fly it around in the office when i get bored or just need a break. My first impression was this will be one of those toys that gets old or breaks from crashes. You'll quickly learn to gain more and more control and it is surprisingly durable. Several of my friends have purchased them now after seeing mine. (WARNING) be careful not to hover to closely over an ashtray. Enjoy.

- Finally got these replacement blades in the mail today. I have to different kinds of helicopters. These blades did NOT work on either. Quite upset.

5 comments about Spinmaster Air Hogs Battling Havoc R/C Helicopters.
- Like most remote control toys these VERY EXPENSIVE helicopters are fragile. In the hands of a typical little boy (8-10), these tiny plastic flying machines will be inoperable in less than a week. The commercial shows them flying around the inside of a house, shooting lasers at each other. Not gonna happen. They are almost impossible to fly straight, let alone keep in the air.
Outside is better. You can stay on the throttle without running into a ceiling. But be careful, if you have a destructive backyard dog, this will be a nice 1 minute chew toy.
Bottom Line:
Very fun for someone who would take very good care of them. Otherwise you are burning money.
- I bought this product from BlackSheepDeals through Amazon as a Christmas gift for my son and he received two of these. I returned this product after being told that they have a 7 day return policy and that they would charge a restocking fee for the product. I was very dissappointed that Amazon would allow a retailer doing business this way on their site. I sent back the product and they charged a 35% RESTOCKING FEE!!! This is outrageous! Do not buy from this company!
- They are not designed to last. Too bad, because my kids loved them while they worked. The problem is the slightest bump ruins the top props. Only the rear props are replaceable so... a total waste of money.
- I bought this for my 5 year old son who had to have it after seeing the commercial about it. I was apprehensive because of some of the other reviews I had read, but bought it anyway because it was the only thing my son wanted for his birthday. He LOVES it. What's great is that it comes with 2 helicopters so he and his sister can both play with them and "shoot" each other (you really can shoot your opponent down). My 5 year old son can work this product with a little guidance and my 8 year old daughter needs no guidance working it. They both really have been having a ball with these helicopters. Even my husband plays with them. It's important to remember to read all of the instructions before using this toy and familiarize yourself with the "trouble-shooting" booklet so that you can rectify any situations that may come up that affect flight, like a propeller being knocked crooked, for instance(which is easy to fix). My son has crashed his helicopter to the floor many, many times and it still works fine. I would buy this product again because my kids have a ball with it. The only negative I can come up with is that I wish the helicopters would run longer on a charge. It seems you get about 20 minutes of quality flight time. Then you need to charge it again for about 20 minutes. Also, perhaps it's a bit over-priced. But, again...my kids love it and play and play and play with it.
- This product is a greta buy and fun for all ages. My 11 year old son, my fiance, and my father absolutely love it! We fly them around the house battling each other and it is so much fun. They are durable, entertaining, and a good value for the money. I definitely recommend these helicopters.

5 comments about Spinmaster Air Hogs Havoc Heli (Colors May Vary).
- Bought one of these for my son (12 years old) before Christmas. He was excited and was extremely careful with it. He likes to collect toys, so after playing with it on 3 or 4 occasions he put it back in the box and onto his toy shelf. About 2 months later he took it out to play and it would not charge. The connection light (between helicopter and controller) doesn't light. There was no damage to the plane or controller and we followed all instructions to the letter. When I called the company in Canada the first week of April they told me the warranty was up and that I could buy a new plane (without controller) for $[...] and it would ship when it became available. I am extremely dissatisfied with the durability of this item. Non-functional after 1 hour of total play??? Ridiculous.
- This toy is addicting! It's a lot of fun. My son got one as a gift last Christmas, but I don't believe his heli was foam or soft textured. The one I received is, and it kind of gives it a cheap looking appearance, but flies good all the same.
- I am basically happy with it. It must take a lot of practice to fly it like the demo video showed. It can fly very high and has crashed many times without any damage. Thank you.............
- I guess it's little, therefore doesn't do all those things that the big ones do. It's a good sturdy little thing. My cat loves to play with it, he snatches it out of the air. It's sturdy enough to fall and not break. Most of the time it sits in the cupboard, because the battery needs charging. Overall it's an ok one, but if you are serious about flying helicopters, buy yourselves a bigger one.
- We purchased this helicopter for my son's 13 birthday. He has thoroughly enjoyed it, and we have all marveled at what it can do. We purchased a different brand earlier, and it was broken in 5 minutes. This one has lasted.
