- This handy little tool has been great around the house. Fits almost everything we have including the hex screws on the fridge which was the most recent job it was used for. I gave this item 5 stars because of the price and overall performance. It could have been a bit better build quality but I didn't expect it to be considering the price. It works great and should last years if you don't abuse it. For working on machinery and such I would most likely use standard sockets of better quality, but that's just my opinion.
- I've used this socket several times and it works well. I used it to take apart the steering parts of a Murray riding lawn mower, it was very nice not having to hunt for sockets in my disorganized tool box. I haven't put huge stress on it, but it's survived fine so far.
Even though it appears to be a deep socket, the pins only push in so far, so I would guesstimate it won't work with nuts with more than 3/4" or so of the bolt sticking out.
- Overall this was pretty disappointing, but one has to wonder whether some industrial designer could fix its inherent flaws. It's cheaply made and has a lot of slop in it, and sometimes the spring isn't strong enough to pop the pins back into position -- pain in the neck to re-position.
It's far too inferior in quality to be used for serious mechanical work, but it might be handy if you were installing a whole bunch of big plant hangers, or something else strangely shaped.
The basic idea might be workable, but the actual tool is of the "99-cent tool bin" quality.
- I've had mine for several years. I've been fairly please with it. I do bear it some suspicion every time I grab it. The bottom line is that I don't have a lot of confidence with it when I grab it. Some tools are truly friends -you know dependable, working as advertised -while some are,....well, are suspicious and are they worth in the fold or in the trash heap?
It will take some getting use to at first in centering the nut or bolt on the socket. Also, you must completely cover the nut area with the pins otherwise it could easily slip off, and with the tool being top heavy, it is difficult to do. I find my fingers firmly attached to the businiess end of the socket to prevent slippage and keeping it on the fastener. The slippage can result in rounding like in one of my car's oil drain plug. If you have it secure, it can stand some good torquing but because it is top-heavy, it becomes a learned skill. For really small nuts or fasteners with small area, it becomes very difficult in keeping the socket engaged unless your are completely on top of it. Large and tall ones maybe easier.
I find it useful if I see that I might fasten scores and scores of nuts and bolts. I use this to start them and the job can go by quickly with this tool. After the structure is free standing, go back and torque them properly.
I would wait for sales. IMHO it is worth $10 and would not pay the close to $20 for it.
- I have had one of these since they were advertised on TV years ago. It is the best all-purpuse hex wrench on the market and I especially like that it comes with an electric drill attachment. I have used it for many DIY home projects and it has worked wonderfully. It is strong enough to drive a 1/4 inch by 4 inch hex screw directly into a stud with no problem. I would have expected one of those pins to have fallen out by now, but they are obviously really secure and made of incredibly strong steel.
I bought a second one after I moved and couldn't find it in one of my boxes for a while. It was nice to see that they didn't start using cheaper, less effective materials after so many years. I am impressed.

- Like that other review said...why get that other design with the nut wrench in the middle of that metal piece? You'll still need a wrench and a third arm! With this design, it's a solo job and way more accurate/safe.
- i have a 97 honda prelude with h22 motor... this tool was great for adjusting the valves... its still a pain to do the job yourself, but this tool saved me time and money.
- This is the best honda/acura tool for any do it yourselfer lookin to adjust your own valves! it makes the job sooo easy and it is a must have! Its high quality and the lowest price in the United States. Shipping was only $5 and it beat eBay's remarkably low pricing! This 10mm tool works on most honda/acura engines.
- It would be almost impossible to adjust valves on a H22 without this tool. What a great invention. Saves a lot of money compared to the $50 OEM tool.
- I use this tool to adjust the valves on my Civic. The tool works well, it is easy to use and a great deal.

- What can I say. Socket set for under $4 dollars. Great! Wouldn't work on heavy duty jobs with this set but great for tasks around house. Price is unbeatable. Delivery on time, actually, delivered sooner than expected. Thinking of purchasing another set to keep in shop for light jobs. Highly recommend seller and product.
- This is a poorly made product. The ratchet handle is uncomfortable to hold due to the rough surface and sharp bottom edge. For the price, it's a good set if you only need to use it a few times a year. However, for the price, you get what you pay for...cheap.
- Good:
Cheap. Great to have around the house.
Has a good assortment of sockets.
Sturdy enough for light duty.
Bad:
The plastic handle of the driver, not the ratchet , snapped apart at first use. It is too brittle.
The sockets are for light duty. They started splitting apart when using about 25ft/lb of torque.
Not molded perfectly. Lots of imperfections. Looks not pretty.
Bottom Line:
CHEAP!
- This set is garbage..... Please do not buy!!!!
very cheap set..... Breaks very easily.
- Bought these socket set for husbands shop. He was bowled over by all the sockets and extras he got with the set. Would buy this product again for gifts. Thank you.

- I bought this because my husband needed metric sizes to change out my new gas stove to propane. This set has both standard and metris and the bit quality is pretty good. An excellent choice for a DIY kind of household.

- Nice heavy duty impact sockets for much less than the other big brands.
- The sockets work great at a great price but the finish on them is cheap. I droped one and some of the black finish came off already. I don't think they will brake easily as they have a good wieght to them but I'm going to be slightly more delicate with these then my other tools.
- These deep well impact sockets are very well constructed and the most affordable impact sockets I could find. I would recommend them to anyone, from an occasional use homeowner to the professional mechanic.
- For the price of these sockets they can't be beat! They are good quality and at a low price. When I received them I was expecting something real cheapy, but they were in fact pretty good. Carrying case is nice too.
- The quality of these sockets rival the best American tools that you can find at a fraction of the cost. Nice finish with no roughness around the edges. Nice tray to keep them organized and shipped for free. can't beat it with a stick.

- I didn't expect too much for the price, but I was surprised. The sockets are good quality as are the ratchets. The box keeps everything together and sorted. It would have been nice if this socket set had some screwdriver bits.
- After finding about half my sockets lost, lent out, or just worn out I went in search of an inexpensive set that would do light to medium duty work around the house and on the cars.
Having some success with other Denali tools I thought I'd give these a try. Not expecting much for under $30 I was amazed at the quality of this set for the $$$. Fitted case, easy to read sizes printed on each slot the whole kit is pretty darn solid, even the chrome is pretty nice with no bubbles or spurs. They aren't SNAP-ON perfect but then again, don't think I could even buy one socket from SNAP-ON for the price of this set. Worth the money.
- I'm not the sort of person who puts his tools to heavy use. All I do with these things is assemble/disassemble furniture, and occasionally some light mechanical work on my car. These things are really solid for the price though, and get the job done nicely. The case seems solid too. I'm docking a star only because they don't come with screwdriver bits and they really ought to. I've got no complaints.
