- The addition of the fulcrum on the pry bar is a useful innovation. Like all the other pry bars on the market nowadays and unlike my now misplaced Sears pry bar acquired in the 70's, the prying ends of this tool are rather blunt and therefore difficult to prize in between joined pieces without damaging them. This was remedied with a grinder and belt sander but it would be nice if someone would produce a well ground tool like those of yore.
- I am a general contractor / Carpenter, and I bought this pry bar for work. Its okay for most applications, but the fulcrum on the flat end is positioned so far out, that you don't get enough leverage for any serious prying (like prying two boards apart that are nailed together).
- I'm a weekend warrior more or less. I renovate houses in my down time. I picked up this bar to help with the demo process. I must say it it a very handy tool. The angle of the bar works perfect for me and gave me a lot of leverage when removing some old glued down flooring. It's a keeper in my bag of tools for sure. I'm very satisfied with it.
- This bar only rates pretty good for doing general demolition work. The fulcrum, as others have said, makes it less than optimal for prying things apart because you if you hammer the end of it the bend absorbs much of the blow and vibrates. However, if you need to install a panel or sheet or drywall by yourself the lever action will help you raise your work with your foot and adjust it just where you need it leaving your hands to do their thing.
For installing doors it is awesome! Toe kick under a cabinet? Perfect. In fact, anything you want to raise from the floor while standing, crouching, laying down or in need of both hands will make you love this tool.
I also use it for prying up tile counter tops with great success.
Bottom line, it is not usually the first demo bar I grab, but for certain applications I wouldn't be without it. If I ever lose it I will replace it immediately.
- This pry bar is a good shape for, well, prying! The curve pushes the bar out far enough to get some leverage. I like the bright yellow tip that helps keep it from getting lost in darker environments.
I haven't found mine to be especially sharp. It is intended for smaller jobs, and works well for those. It isn't a problem unless you are demolishing a house with it. Just something to be aware of.

- This is one of my top 5 most used tools in my box for remodeling my home. That flat edge is useful for countless projects. Right now I am using it to remove some old tile from our finished basement. It is flat enough to tap under the tile and pop out the tiles in 1 or 2 pieces. My only complaint is that it is small. I jumped online to order the larger version for myself and one for my brother who just bought his first house.
- A very basic tool, but a very functional one. It bites into a nail, with or with out a head, and pulls it with minimal effort. The thin wedge is good for getting under pretty anything. Excellent for trim work and such.
- This was one of the best tools that I've owned..... until I lost it at a job site. You'd never imagine how often it was reached for. Guess I'll need to get another.
- It's one thing for a tool tool to stay in the bucket/bag, but it's another when they get the honor to stay in your belt. After all, no one wants to lug around more than they have to. However, this tool has easily become worth the extra weight in exchange for the amount of trips that it saves to the bucket. Now my nail puller stays there. A great tool.
- Having worked in the Usa for five years, sadly i only discovered this wonerful tool on my fourth Year. What a tool. I even honed mine further with my belt sander clamped to my bench with 400 grit sandpaper facing me, i was able to take the nicks and scratches of a few years of abuse on the curved end of the belt while getting an even sharper edge. Ideal for the removal of trim and casing without leaving a mark. Ideal as a scraper, and go's anywhere you might not send a good chisel. now that im back home in Ireland Im probably the only guy in this country that has one. So you can be sure I dont lend it to anyone. Top jap quality at a bargain price. Foxy Limerick Ireland. I would like to hear from other like minded craftsperson's email me at foxyinboston@gmail.com

- Fantastic quality and so easy to use. Many uses besides taking off shingles. This tool will last you a lifetime, like one I used 35-40 years ago. Thank goodness they are still around. Anyone restoring a house needs one.

2 comments about Diversified Tools Pocket Kicker II 811-DT Panel / Drywall Lifter, Drywall Rasp and Prying Tool.
- I bought this tool for the idea of having a rasp and a lifter in 1 tool. Unfortunately the rasp wore down to nothing on my first day of use after hanging just 6 sheets of rock. Now I'm left with just a lifter, which doesn't even work that great.
The package claims 100% satisfaction guaranteed so I emailed the company to tell them about this product and I got no response from them. Don't make the same mistake I did.
- This tool may looks tiny but it is mighty. We used it to help with installation of a heavy storm door and it was a big help!

- I must say if you can't destroy it with this, you need a bulldozer. This bar is heavy and solid. I use it for demo and love it. It makes short work of destroying or taking down anything. It is quite heavy so be warned- don't drop it on your toes!
- If it can be taken apart, this bar will take it apart. This is not a tool for fixing your watch. This tool is for demolition and does a damn good job of it.
I had to remove two walls worth of heavy-duty floor-to-ceiling cabinets in the basement to allow for waterproofing. I figured each would take an afternoon. But not with my buddy, Max here. Each one took less than an hour. It's my new favorite tool.

- These prybars have a sharp edge that allows them to easily get behind moldings without mangling them. They have a little flex but good torque. I've had to order 3 more sets for other carpenters who have borrowed them and loved them. Great price too.
- I was looking to replace a lost Hyde 9 1/2" prybar/scraper and could not find any in the stores. The Hyde bars have gone down a bit in quality over the years, going to inferior steel. Still, overall, they are good usable tools.
I am glad I took the chance on ordering the Titan prybars. Unbelievable quality, polished stainless. For those who care, and there aren't many knowledgeable left, you take a tool and hit it with another steel tool and listen to the sound. Good tools ring as do these Titans. The Hyde prybars make a dull 'tonk'. You generally let go of a tool so it is unsupported in the air, give it a rap, and catch it before it falls.

5 comments about Shark Corp 21-2225 10-Inch Prybar and Nail Puller.
- I've had two size Shark tools for over 1 year now. They are absolutely outstanding. I've found them to be much better than standard pry bars. These tools are light weight. Their prying end starts very slim enabling you to get started easily on any pry job (for example, great for prying off fence boards. I highly recommend one (or even two if you select the two sizes) to have with you always.
- This is a great contractor grade tool. It is great for removing moulding or baseboards. The nail puller was very good even for nailgun nails. Remember it is a small tool so if your trying to pull apart 2x4's nailed together you wont have enough leverage.
- When we pulled up our carpet we found, to our surprise, hardwood floors underneath. While it was a terrific find, we discovered (at least) one problem: A former owner had apparently tried to fix floor squeaks by (seemingly) randomly pounding common nails of varying lengths into the floor. The heads were all flush with or even below the surface of the floor. Nothing in my toolbox had a chance of pulling them - but then I came across this wonderful little tool.
Causing little or no damage to the floor, the Shark pulled up nearly a hundred nails with 100% success. I actually started hoping I would find more nails as we pulled up more carpet.
And the sliver-thin pry is amazing as well. I was able to take up the tack strips in their entirety without hardly a sound, and removing molding is now amazingly smooth.
The Shark is definitely one of the best $20 tool purchases I have ever made!
- I just removed interior trim using the Shark Prybar and Nail Puller. The relatively thin blade tip makes it easy to get in between the trim and the underlying wall. The nail puller is well placed to provide leverage, and is much easier than a nail puller on a hammer to get into small spaces to remove framing and finish nails.
- This is a nice tool but honestly do not think it is worth MORE THAN 10 bucks. Even at 10 inches, the shank is really small for my large hands. Made in China like most everything, I think you could go to Home Depot and get one at almost twice the size for about the 16-17 range. The small size and cost factor gives this a 3 Star only. I was mildly disappointed.

- Wow! Is all my husband said when I gave him this tool. He is starting a remodel and says this will save time of having to get other tools. This all in one has what he needs in one package. It is weighty and sturdy enough to give it all you got when tearing down walls, decks, countertops, flooring, fencing, tile, forms, whatever you need to destroy this will do it. Great price and shipping!
- This tool make demo work so easy from the board gripper which makes twisting studs out so easy to the pry bar nail puller, this tool rocks!!!
- The tool has been a great addition to my tool resource. Recommend it for anyone who likes to build.
- We used 2 of these to demo the plaster/lathe in a finished attic. It worked well in tight corners. Where there was more room to move, a Stanley framing hammer was just as effective. If you are "pulling" the plaster and lathe from the joists the Stanley framing hammer is an easier two handed grip, it has a longer straight handle. I think that the curved version of the fubar looks more useful than the straight version for prying, but didn't need to do much of that. I recommend the curved Fubar as general purpose demo only tool.
For this job the AO 95090 Respirator worked great, and also the DeWalt Concealer DPG82-11C (but you have to use an anti-fog coating on it no matter what the product specs say). I'd recommend strongly using these in any kind of dirty/dusty demo situation they work orders of magnitude better than the usual face mask with elastic and the standard safety glasses. The Amazon prices on these were much better than the local big hardware store.
- First man discovered fire and the wheel. Then he discovered the Stanley Fubar. I've used this to tear down a shed and some outdoor structures and it has performed flawlessly. It's very durable and built in such a way it's usage is almost intuitive. Everything is angled ideally for maximum torque and ease of use. Read the other reviews for all it's features.
If you're looking to tear something up this is the tool.

- If you are looking for a crankcase pulley look no further!!! This is the tool! Well worth the price!!1
- Got the job done using this tool. Had a tendency to want to slip off the crank pulley, but I was able to wedge it with a breaker bar against the floor. Once I got that setup it worked fine.
- Necessary tool to remove that stubborn crank bolt if you're thinking of doing it at home. Works like a charm. d:)
- This tool is a must have for all do it yourself honda owners.Saves a lot of time and knuckle skin :)
- This is A MUST for honda owners. Timing belt? No problem!! This is the same thing snap on makes but for over $100 cheaper. Amazon saved the day with this great deal. Just make sure you get the right one for your car.
Have already busted 3 crank bolts loose with this and let me tell you its worth every penny. Id rather use this then rattle around bearings in the bottem end with a impact gun.
