- A value just for the tool bag. I like the bit sets in their separate cases.
- I had ran out of bits before buying this set. I am amazed with the quality and variety of all the pieces. I am glad I purchased the set.
- This set is a good value, it's got the right bits for all those unexpected jobs that crop up daily at the worksite. It's got 2 T40's for construction screws, drivers to handle lags, and nice sharp spade bits. I've been using the hell out of it and am completely satisfied.
The bag and boxes are nice, keeps everything organized and easy to access. I went through and labeled each of the grey boxes to make locating what I need easier ie, spade bits, drivers, masonry etc.
- I agree with most of the reviewers...the bag and cases [1 wide-mouth reinforced bag w/heavy-duty zipper and 4 solid plastic cases that lock shut securely with sliding latches and hold bits on either side] are what make this worth buying...the bits themselves appear to be of typical China-made quality, which is what I expected for the price anyway. However, I can put my Milwaukee and Freud bits in the bag as well and just toss the bag in the truck when I have a job to do.
- I got this set for $19.99 plus free shipping. This is worth every penny and the bag alone is probably worth $20. Great quality set and bag.

- The item and package were in perfect condition. Very happy on its delivery condition!
- IT IS EVERTHING I EXPECTED.GOT IT FOR A CHRISTMAS PRESENT TO GIVE TO A FRIEND HE LOVED IT.GREAT PRICE,AND FREE SHIPPING.CANT GO WRONG.THANKS
- I got the drill for my husband for Christmas and he says he loves it. We orginally had another 18V Drill by "Black and Decker" that would have trouble getting a screw in. The DeWalt blows it out of the water with strength, power, and is very durable. My advise to all who read this, don't go cheap, get something that is going to last.
- DeWalt DC759KA Heavy-Duty 18-Volt Ni-Cad 1/2-Inch Cordless Drill/Driver Kit A little heavy when useing overhead.But otherwise a very good drill/driver,the batteries last a long time between charges.
- Great product has survived many drops and is my first choice as the handiest tool in my shop!

- To good to pass up at $99 with drill bit kit. I haven't used this yet, but bought to match my Hitachi 18v Lithion impact wrench I use on my cars.
Expect to use this as my only drill around the house for projects. Replaces some Coleman 18v Drills I bought at Pep-Boys, which were too bulky/heavy. This unit is much nicer and easier to operate due to small size and light weight.
Comparable to the Bosch PS20, but can stand up on battery which is handy.
It's small and light, the LED is right by the bit attachment and lights up well. Unit and movement feel very solid and much better quality than my $30 drill this replaced. Happy with purchase at initial "play time"; will update one I use this for real.

- This tool is a great value but is missing features you may decide you need: variable speed, a latching chuck, and an adjustable clutch. Buy it if these features aren't critical for your application or if you're looking for a particularly small light weight tool for simple tasks.
- This feisty little drill comes in a great package - with a lot of bits for driving bolts and screws, but the drilling comes off a bit short with the few included bits. You'll drill wood without a doubt, but with a lot of effort.
It's a feisty drill with a higher than normal RPM for its size, but that doesn't help in terms of getting the job done, especially when drilling. Getting those IKEA furniture pieces built is a snap with a tool like this, which has a whole host of bits. If you have small home projects, this is the item.
Great for smaller apartments and those who don't want/need the power of a 18v drill.
- Bought this product due to size ane accessories.First one I got did not work at all and Amazon 2 day replacement GREAT, The second unit has a very short battery life while painting and removing light and receptacle covers the batter last less tha a hour. Not very use full . With such a shor hattery life.
- Got this on Today's Deals and what a great buy.
It's a great tool to have around for assembling small items.
It's nice to have a small cordless tool for hard to reach places and the light is a pretty nice feature. Power is perfect for what I'm using it for.
- I have purchased this item for my work. I do alarm/security work and need something small like this item to screw in small security equipment. Screwdriver did the job, but it lacks some power. Takes a bit longer to screw screw into wall.If Denali could add more power to this screwdriver it would be great and awesome product.

5 comments about Black and Decker PD600 Pivot Plus 6-Volt Nicad Cordless Screwdriver with Articulating Head.
- This drill did perform satisfactorily light household tasks a few times it was used. I had used this very sparingly, about 4 times in 2 years. Recently when I took it out of the toolbox it didnt turn on and attempts to recharge it didnt work either. It is dead.
- I like it for small work around the house but it will not hold a charge. As long as you leave it on charge it is okay. If you leave it a couple days in a drawer off charge it goes dead.
- I've had lesser Black & Decker models that I've worked to death. This one never worked right. On the lightest torque setting it never released and would strip out screws if not careful, yet on the heaviest setting it never had enough torque to remove the average screw. What did I expect for $20 right?
- Very neat screwdriver with the right idea but needs some work. Weight is a bit heavy and can only be locked into like three positions. Should have more lockable position like 5 or 6 in my opinion as the 3 lockable positions are so close that the angle is almost the same. Doesn't even lock in a 45 degree. Should lock at that and more positions. The light feature comes in handy. Alone thing is it is a very dim orange amber color light. Should of made it a brighter whiter light or use two bulbs instead of just one. I like the two built in screw bit holders at the top which is very handy. The quick release system and the screw driver and drill switch is handy and useful as well. All in all a very good device with some needed improvement. For the $20 bucks I paid you can't find a better deal at that price at any store.
- I have had this device for about a year. Its battery cannot hold a charge. The drill is never functional when I want to use it. I have to plan several hours ahead. Whoever schedules a pick-up-and-use tool 6 hours ahead? The only option would be to leave it plugged in all the time. I do not fancy that. Am I missing something? Otherwise it works well. However, I can only recommend the drill to those who are going to use it every couple of days - before the charge drains.

- This is a very handy cordless drill and it gets into tight spots. You can also use it for a screwdriver.
- Great product. Whoever came up with the concept of the adjustable head with a pretty powerfuldrill got it right. Criticisim:Probably a more versatile carrying case to hold B&D quick connect drill & accessory kit.
- I've owned this Black and Decker drill/driver model for around 7 or 8 years. It's been a lifesaver to say the least. I also own a 'real' corded drill that I use for jobs that require serious torque, but in the 8 years I've owned that, I've only used it three or four times.
This Black and Decker cordless drill/driver on the other hand is by far my favorite tool that I own. I've done everything from installing blinds to assembling a wooden swingset with this drill (the battery did not last through the entire swingset, but it did last for several hours). One reviewer commented he could not find a replacement battery, but honestly, in 8 years I haven't needed one. I whole heartedly recommend this tool as an all purpose household drill/driver. Have realistic expectations - If you plan do more than just household maintenance and repair tasks or small projects, you will need to invest in another drill.
Pros:
1. The 5 position head - a nice feature that comes in handy once in a while.
2. "Quick Connect Bit Change System" - it's so easy to drill a pilot hole, switch to a screwdriver bit, and finish the job in a matter of seconds.
3. Accessories - it comes with an assortment of drill and driver bits, but other hex sets work interchangeably with this driver.
4. The Battery - charges quickly, holds a charge for a long time, and lasts through several jobs, even with long periods of non-use.
5. Lefty approved! - drills usually aren't an issue left handed users, but just in case you were wondering, this tool is ergonimically ambidextrous and therefore does not discrimate against us :)
Cons: After just 8 years, the drill is finally starting to show some wear.
- I adore my little power drill! I just moved into my new apartment and it's been perfect for setting up furniture. It's so versatile, I really like that you can position the head in different ways, it makes drilling in tight spaces much easier.
The design is so comprehensive, there are lots of different power settings, it has the right trigger sensitivity for good control, and there are way too many screw icons for me to use.
I've been using it all day, setting up various pieces of furniture (bed frame, desk, boards, etc.) and it hasn't shown signs of dying at all. It deserves 5 stars for what I'm using it for!
- This Drill/Driver is great for any projects. Its easy to use. Its a little bulky though. Other then that it's ok. I would recommand it. Price is not too expensive. I bought mind at a great discount.

5 comments about Bosch PS20-2 Litheon 10.8-Volt Lithium-Ion Pocket Driver with 2 Batteries.
- We've been using this on a boat-building project and are extremely satisfied. Its small size is really nice when driving screws in tight areas, and the amount of torque this thing has is amazing. Battery life between charges is excellent and we've driven screws all afternoon without changing batteries. The soft case is nice because you can set it on finished surfaces without damaging them--nice around the house and not something I can say about my other power tools. Bosch has always made nice stuff and this is one more.
- This screwdriver is more expensive than many others but comes with features others may be missing: two long-lasting batteries, a latching chuck, variable speed starting very low, an automatic brake, an adjustable clutch, and a built-in light.
- We assemble computers, repair printers, do network installations, build equipment racks. All this gear comes with tons of screws, and assembling 10 machines a day with a manual screwdriver is tiring and time consuming.
We used a pen-style 3-Volt cordless driver before the PS20. It had no adjustable clutch, had no speed control, was slow to recharge, and had a very limited torque.
This driver is not much bigger than a pen-drive, sits nicely in the hand without fatigue, and the max 700 RPM is exactly what we need to get the job done in a snappy way.
What I absolutely love is the wide range of the clutch: No chance to bust the threads of a 2.5 mm metal screw with a low clutch setting, although it goes in at max RPM. The low mass of the chuck is an advantage here.
On the highest clutch setting, you need to apply an unexpected force to hold the tool. It can develop a surprisingly high torque for it's size.
Bottom line: A lot of recent technology is packed into this tool. It looks like a toy, but is a serious time-saver in a small package.
- First let me tell you how this tool is used. I am a painter and a cordless drill/driver, has always been my go to tool, for things like removing switch plates, hanging alittle drywall or patching and repairing, installing and removing shutters, downspouts etc.
In the past I always used a 12volt drill/driver tool for those tasks.
The little bosch is just the right size tool when all you need is something small like when working from a ladder etc.
It has a solid build. It looks like a toy but far from it. Not as powerfull as the 12v makita it replaced but nonless it is up to the tasks above.
The clutch works very well with noticeable differances in every postion.
Battery life has been excelent and recharges fast.
The light helps in low light but as others have said the led is in the
wrong position to be a great asset. (but better then nothing)
The "cloth" tool bag is the low point for me on this package. Not much room for anything but whats included in the package. Extra bits maybe, but thats it.
Bottom line is. Small is good! Highliy recomended. It serves it's purpose for what it was designed to do, quit well, but don't expect it to do the work of a larger or more powerfull tool.
- Bosch has always made some of my favorite tools. When I saw the Pocket Driver at a trade show and felt how light and powerful it was, I knew I found a great all-around screw driver for my business. I can use it for pocket screw joinery because the torque settings snug things up without crushing the wood. With the variable speed trigger, I can use it for controlled installation/removal of slotted screws. Contrary to some reviews, I even do some light drilling to start small screws (Vix Bits). Three people have tried mine and immediately bought their own. My DeWalt is now only used for drilling holes. Now I'm looking seriously at the Bosch Impact Driver for those screws the Pocket Driver can't handle.

- The drill has a lot of power and works really well in tight spaces. The handle get a little hot when working for a long time, but other than that it works great.
- I'm a contractor, so I use my tools all the time and rely on them. Most of my hand tools are Bosch, but they don't have a full size right angle cordless drill, so I purchased the Dewalt. The Dewalt is inferior to Bosch in so many ways. First, the reverse switch is too small and hidden. It's difficult to switch when you're under a cabinet or in a tight space and try with just one hand. Secondly, the chuck is difficult to tighten and again requires two hands. Try a Bosch chuck, and you'll instantly know why the Dewalt chuck is worthless. Third, if it falls, the battery typicall falls out. Hey, no one wants to drop their tools, but it happens. When it does, I just want to pick it up, not reassemble it. So, in a nut shell, I haven't been impressed and only use this when it's absolutely necessary for the space. I'll be selling it soon as I'm getting the new Bosch Lithium drivers. They work great for the occasional tight space with none of the draw backs listed above.
- Why is it that everyone that buys a defective tool must write a negitive review? Just pack it up and send it back! You have no more idea what kind of drill you have than a person that has never purchased one.
As far as durability, any tool can be damaged by dropping it. Don't blame the tool.
This tool is very ergonomic. My hands are small and it works great for me.
The low center of gravity makes it very steady while sitting on the battery base; much more so than a regular drill which is nose heavy.
Unlike a convential drill, the trigger is over three inches long, and very easy to activate with any part of you hand.
By grasping the drill just above the base and placing the heel of your hand on the back of the head, you can apply pressure to insure fast and firm application of any bit or driver you choose to use.
The other thing I like about this tool is that it is easy to carry on a belt and fits into ANY tool bag or box that I want to use. The convential drill never sits well in my tool bag and it is hard to find a carrier that feels good to me.
I wrapped a velcro strap around the base of the drill and attached a carabiner to the strap and I can hook it to a belt, a belt loop, or even a button hole of my old bid overalls.
The fact that it is easy to use in tight places is only one of the many reasons that I love this tool.
If you think that it is too expensive, rent one first and see for yourself how great it is to operate.
After a month of using my angle drill, I put my regular drill on the shelf.
- This drill was purchased to help in tight areas of cabinet constuction and repair. It has been used numerous times and has proven to be a worthwhile tool. It is easy to use, and reached all but the hardest to reach places. It has ample power and I would reccomend it to anyone who is considering adding a right angle drill to their inventory.
- This tool never even made it onto the jobsite. Just testing in the workshop proved too much! The chuck spun out of round, and the motor was taxed and stripped trying to run a 3/4 auger. Even a large Irwin speedbore proved too much. I am O.K with a drill not being able to spin a bit-I will back off and try a smaller size. But this tool just seems to strip the gears way too easily. I tried 2 of these, figuring I might have gotten a lemon, but 2 lemons? The gears sound like they are cheaper quality. I think next time I will look at the small Makita corded or perhaps the Hitachi corded or cordless.

5 comments about Makita BDF452HW 18-Volt Compact Lithium-Ion Driver Drill Kit.
- The Good:
The battery is powerful enough and recharge is very quick.
The power to size ratio is fantastic. This drills just as well as my old 14V DeWalt. Let's see if it can survive a couple 9' drops as well...
It fits very well in my hand; about like my 9mm Beretta, solid and comfortable.
The Bad:
I was disappointed at not having any on board bit storage. There is an add-on that I found for $14.
I have had difficulties similar to another reviewer in that the directional switch is a bit too low. I bump it very easily when trying to re-establish my grip. This locks it or reverses it.
The LED is great, but does not shine right at the point of contact; it shines a bit lower. So in no-light situations, I have to tap the trigger to turn on the light, line up the screw, and then find the head of the screw with the bit in the half-light.
- I have had this drill for over a year and it has performed well above expectations. I have come to appreciate the usefulness of the LED. The Jacobs chuck has worked very well.I haven't had a problem with the batteries and the charger functions well. I was worried that it might not have enough torque, but it has plenty in the applications I have used it. Weight is very light, which definitely helps.
I wish it did have a bit holder on it...
- I really liked certain aspects of the drill, but unfortunately was still forced to return it and get something else.
I'll start with the good stuff. First off, the weight and feel was perfect, exactly what I was looking for. I'm a sculptor, so I need something light and compact when I am working all around a piece, sometimes in hard to reach, uncomfortable positions. The LED light is good in that it stays on for a little while after it is pushed. More manufacturers should add this feature. It doesn't center exactly on the bit tip, but the way it's positioned under the chuck, like all the drills I've seen, I don't think it will ever be perfect. The power is fantastic and it's the only compact I've seen with 450lbs of torque. I doubt I will ever need that much, since I'm not drilling or screwing into concrete or anything like that, but it could be useful for some people. The charger is the fastest I've seen at 15 minutes. I timed it and it really does charge in or under 15 minutes.
Now I have to talk about the reason I returned it for something else and few other negatives. I bought it at Home Depot, I like to get a feel for tools I buy and they had a power tools sale going on at the time. So I picked one of these up and tested it at home for about a day. I noticed instantly that there was some vibration I wasn't used to in drill. When I looked at the chuck I noticed it was wobbling a bit. I put a 1 1/4" spade bit in as I was drilling holes at the time. I spun it and looked at the tip of the bit, man this thing was wobbling all over the place. By my calculations it had a 1/8" wobble. That might not sound like much, but try to drill a big hole in plastic or a small hole through metal and see what happens. I decided to try and drill a hole out with the spade bit since I had it on anyway. I used a scrap piece of hard plastic as that was the material I was working with presently. Now I knew the bit was ok as I had drilled out some nice clean holes in some other plastic using my old corded Ryobi drill. After trying it out with various speeds and settings, the results were uneven holes, some larger than they should be and chipped edges. The drill was shaking and vibrating like you wouldn't believe too. So I take it back and get another one. After I get it home I test it out and guess what, same results. I even try to drill a small 1/16" hole through some sheet metal. After it flew across the metal for a minute it finally caught and started going in. Man, this bit was shaking back and forth, the whole drill shaking like crazy. I was afraid the bit was going to break off and fly into my eye. So back to Home Depot I go. This time I show the hardware guy and see what he has to say. Maybe I've just gone crazy and am being overly critical. He pops in a spade bit and even he can see the wobble and knows this isn't right. I tell him this my second one, so we take a new one off the shelf and open it up. He pops the spade bit in that one and guess what, same wobble. We decide to test out the comparable Milwaukee compact lithium drill to see if this is just something all the cordless compact drills share. He pops the spade bit into the Milwaukee pulls the trigger and no wobble, smooth as butter. He says maybe they got a bad pallet and could check to see if there was a new skid of the Makitas in the back. I decided to not take anymore chances and swapped out for the Milwaukee.
My reasoning is this is a Makita, not a Skil. It's supposed to be a quality product from a quality manufacturer, I should not have to go through 3 different ones to get a good one. I suppose this may be the world we live in now that everything is made in China, but I think I took more than enough chances on this drill.
Also Makita, don't be so cheap to not add a bit holder and belt clip, come on now.
This may be an isolated incident and I don't want to badmouth a good tool, but I can only comment on my experience. To all the people that are happy with the Makita, I'm glad. To anyone looking to buy one, I suggest you test it out in the store first to make sure there aren't any problems like I had.
On a side note, I didn't have the drill long enough to experience the battery problems some people have had. I don't know if that problem has been fixed or not. The batteries seemed good for the time I used it.
- Factory recondition tags on everything, 2 batteries, charger & drill.
1 battery was not in working order, seller replaced promply. No charger
manual, seller sent one with repalcement battery.
Drill worked fine, used it for few prodjects. Time to charge batteries,
DC18RA charger turns on then when battery is put in it goes to a red &
green blinking condition and shuts off. No response yet from seller and
Mikita service has not given a yes or no on charger.
- The drill worked perfectly and has been a satisfactory purchase.
The stickers on the case were close to impossible to get off. The refurbisher should looking into labels that can be removed easily by the end user.
