1. I bought a pair of Ray Ban 3025 metal aviator sunglasses for my boyfriend for Christmas. They came in a case and had lense cleaning clothes in the case. I recieved them with in a week and he loves them.



2. they do not answer the phone,have called to say glasses cracked after 2 months,they have no phone service to talk to customer service-pissed



3. This aren't called "Aviators" as some silly marketing ploy. These really are well designed glasses for pilots, which is what they were originally crafted to be; not only the shape, but the G-15 lens.
   
   I could talk about all sorts of things but would just be repeating the RayBan website. So, I will just stick to the things you can't find there.
   
   They dip low on the cheek to stop sun glare from that area, which many glasses don't do. This is helpful to pilots who have their heads up and outside the plane while maintaining the visual scan inside. Your eyes are protected while quickly looking down at instrumentation that maybe directly reflecting the sun.
   
   The lenses are glass, which is the only con. Modern glasses with shatter proof, impact resistant lenses are better for a pilot because you eyes are your most important tool. It would be better to have a product that was made of high impact plastic vice glass if you are concerned about protecting your eyes in the rare chance something were to smack into them. For example, if you were riding a motorcycle.
   
   For pilots, or others protected by a windscreen, this isn't much of a problem. Having glass lenses means less scratches and nicks which means much better vision in the air. Every pilot will tell you how hard it can be locating other air traffic when specks get on glasses and windshields.
   
   Many pilots, especially those with any experience in the Navy, won't wear these things in public because of the "Top Gun Effect," which is a documented phenomena. Long story short, if you're wearing crap you're issued or use in the job out in public with the specific point to advertise the fact you're a pilot, then you're lame. So, even if said item is quite useful away from work, you have to get a different one that is not directly identifiable with your job. That's the "Top Gun Effect." So almost all cool pilots who recognized how good these glasses are in the plane have 2 set of glasses.
   
   If you want true aviator glasses, these are the ones for you. Built for a job, and built right.
   
   Oh, if you want to stay true to form, get G-15 lenses and not polarized. From an FAA pilot safety brochure: "Polarized lenses are not recommended for use in the aviation environment. While useful for blocking reflected light from horizontal surfaces such as water or snow, polarization can reduce or eliminate the visibility of instruments that incorporate anti-glare filters. Polarized lenses may also interfere with visibility through an aircraft windscreen by enhancing striations in laminated materials and mask the sparkle of light that reflects off shiny surfaces such as another aircraft's wing or windscreen, which can reduce the time a pilot has to react in a "see-and-avoid" traffic situation."
   
   Why are they called "Aviator Glasses" and not "Pilot Glasses?" Because they were first made for Naval Aviators, who are better than pilots. Yep, and it's true.

1. Cheap quality. It is not worth even one buck! For this price you can get better products. It looks like some glasses that you find in flea markets made of very, very cheap materials.

3. When I wear these shades I don't care if I'm bald, fat and over 50. They make me feel cool. The temple pieces are long enough for my XXL noggin and so far they don't seem to be especially fragile although I haven't sat on them yet. Most importantly the price is right. I may buy a few more pair

1. As soon as I saw these glasses (even though I know it's bad Karma) I fell in love with them. A friend of mine had a pair of Chanel glasses and I liked them, but I am NOT spending $300 on a pair of shades. These were shaped better anyway. I told my friend "I break or lose these, I'm out 14 bucks...but you'll be out a car note!"
   
   I eventually ordered a pair for her as well when she lost her Chanels.
   
   The shades came in an OC Shades box and they fit well. I call them my Johnny Nitro shades (if you're not a wrestling fan, don't worry about it).
   When they broke, I went right back online and bought a new pair. The lenses on the first pair were fine, it was the hinge that broke while flipping my daughter over my shoulder, but that's ok; they're supposed to protect you from "UV rays", not 4-year-olds. Now I put rhinestones on the other lenses, which I can interchange when I'm feeling blingy.
   
   I also recently ordered them in tortoise and blue to match my outfits. Hey, life is in the details and accessories.



2. My pair was shipped and delivered promptly - a short 4 business days, which is on par with any other order that ships to me, here in Alaska. While these shades are absolutely fabulous and look like genuine-article designer eyewear, they are a rather close fit for someone who has a slightly larger-than-average head (i.e. myself). Better closer-fit than too large, though, and these sunglasses are just right.



3. I love the way I look with these sunglasses on. I think I look pretty foxy when I'm wearing them. They could appear pretty expensive-looking to someone who does know quality or if they're standing a good distance away but I couldn't give them a higher rating because upon closer examination one could tell that the material is kind of inferior and flimsy. They don't look like they could stand up to much wear and tear.

5. "Shades came packaged securely, everything was professionally done and it came in the estimated delivery time. It was as described and of a nice quality especially for the cost. I'm accustomed to wearing oversized shades but this one is a little too big for my face. Though it is wrap around each lens measures 3 3/4" wide (across face) and 2 1/4 long ( brow to cheek). All in all it's a cool pair of shades at a great cost but please note that they are BIG!!!!!!" B-)

1. These sunglasses look like a top rate pair but at a fraction of the price you'd expect to pay. Very nice looking metal frames and spring hinges which allow for a perfect fit. I love these so much I bought 4 pairs.



2. For the price the item is decent. However, closer inspection shows numerous imperfections. The lenses are not aligned quite rightly on the frame and they always look crooked on my face.. Putting all that aside the real issue is the pool visual clarity with these glasses. I got the black, and unless its really bright and the sun is behind me I either have really dark obscured vision or a ton of glare from sunlight reflecting off the lenses. I thought a good deal for sub $10 price, but now I need new glasses so I'm $10 worse off.
   These are probably good as driving glasses for very bright sunlight where noone can see them too closely... you'll still have the vision issues.



3. The style of these glasses is fine and they're more comfortable than other glasses I've bought. The lenses are just AWFUL!...Makes you feel like your eyes are crossed due to the difference in lenses. Spend more, buy better. I know I will :-)

1. These are great. I had my uncle who has a pair of origionals and you can't really tell the difference. Warning though, if you are feeling nostalgic avoid going out and wearing these sun glasses at night. They are the darkest lenses you'll ever wear.



2. This is a very good product. The sunglasses are mirrored as stated, so they keep the sun out very well. The only complaint i have is that they attract visible finger prints quite easily, but that is what happens with mirrored sunglasses (and this can be solved with...well, just wiping them off :) ). All in all, a very good purchase for a very low price :) !



3. The shades look great. Perfectly mirrored. But there are two problems with them. The first is that they're a little crooked. I could probably fix it, but I'm afraid i'll mess them up even more. Second, the tint is a little dark when youre wearing them. I was driving with them and it was a slightly difficult to see things. Just don't drive with them and these will be good shades



4. These things feel really flimsy to start with and when I opened it, the lens fell out and the frame cracked!
   SUPER CHEAP!!



5. i got these for my husband, he has always wanted aviators but we couldnt really justify $90 sunglasses! these are perfect, we went on vacation and i surprised him with these and i think he wore them the entire trip (even inside) they were great he said at keeping the sun out and the style and fit were also great.

1. the lenses are opaque from the outside. no one can see your eyes. these shades are so bright and silvery people can't help but stare at you. if you wear them with the correct headgear - you like like somebody who might kill. buying these glasses are a part of my program to take back good things that hippies ruined.
