1. I had purchased a pair of these specs for myself and then gave a pair to my father for christmas. They are a perfect design. They look great and the build quality is excellent. The materials are great as are the finishes. These AO Aviators are a wonderful classic design that need not be changed and as Aviators go they are as cool as they come.



2. So short of actually becoming an Air Force Officer and Pilot, this is about the coolest thing you could do for yourself. Nothing says don't mess with the best like these Aviators, and while AO might not have the best rep in the aviator market think about this. . . what do the Thunderbirds wear? Enough said.
