  1. Started watching "30 Days to Scoring Success"...captivating video...actually what I really liked was the purposefulness of it all..I think it is good to tell kids (or adults) to play wall the ball 3x week, do these drills, 10 balls each side, do so many dodges, make it really simple with drills so the player knows exactly what and when to do it....it takes a lot of the guess work out of training. For kids, getting them training consistently is the most important thing and "30 Days to Scoring Success" goes a long way in helping this happen.

  2. I am a coach and many of my players bought this DVD and saw huge results quickly. It's so well organized it gives you no alternative other then getting better. I highly suggest it to any player looking to get his game to the next level.

  3. I've played lacrosse for over 15 years and coached for the last 6. I just bought this dvd and I must say this is one of the best lacrosse instructional programs I've seen. It's unique because there really isn't another product (that I know of) which explains technique in such detail while giving you a specific plan for making that technique become automatic to you. also, i think players of any skill level can use this program and see huge improvements.

  4. I gave this DVD to my 15-year-old sister who just started playing high school lacrosse in Southern California and she is improving greatly. Getting a high school sophomore to stop chatting on the internet and work on her lacrosse skills is difficult, but she said the way the DVD was broken down into weekly workouts made the instructions painless. She says team practice is a lot more fun now that she has more skills.

  5. I was very, very pleased! I've bought other videos that were great, but none as detailed as this one. The coach does an amazing job of explaining the techniques. I highly recommend this video.

  1. For those who are new to lacrosse Mark Million is one of the greatest offensive players of all time. The video features Mark breaking down vital offensive skills such as stick protection, dodging, and shooting. Mark does a good job explaining things, includes little tips along the way, and drills are suggested for each skill block. The production quality is very good, with only a few occasions where the wind is audible. Highlight videos are included showcasing Mark's skills for each skill block, which are just fun to watch. If you can find this on sale somewhere I highly recommend picking it up.

  1. It wasn't a bad video but for 40$ it could have had better production value, Video examples of strategies ect. I was kinda dissapointed it seemed like he gave a last second, free seminar and they video taped it and sold it. There are better videos out there and I'm a huge Syracuse and Jimmy B fan so it's hard for him to dissapoint me.

  1. I am very impressed with the content of the dvd. Segments are very well defined and the structure is easy to navigate through. Concepts are well demonstrated and explained and the visual aids used are top-notch and inspirational. As a coach with 8 years of experience coaching grades 4 through 8, I am taking over the High School Varsity for the first time. This dvd series has helped imensely so far & I can't wait for the series to continue!

  2. Tambroni does a very nice job of explaining the basics of a motion offense uses the 2-3-1 as his example. Both the "chalk-talk" section and the live examples are easy to follow and are well narrated. Since different motions are set in different chapters of the DVD, it's easy to find a specific motion you want to review and watch it. My kids watched sections as well and were able to better understand motion offense before they stepped on the field. Definitely worth a look.

  1. I am typical 30 something father who doesn't know a thing about girl's lacrosse (I was a high school baseball player). This makes me a rare species living on Long Island where lacrosse is king. My daughter has caught the lacrosse bug so I purchased this DVD on Amazon so she can reinforce the skills she is learning in her practices.

The DVD has an excellent production value and I appreciated the manner in which Coach Levy explained the various drills. This DVD helped explain the different skills a beginning player must master and helped explain why the skills are important to playing the game.

Great job with the DVD Coach. If people like me were your target, you hit the bull's eye.

  2. Not enough instruction or practical information. Identified cradling as the most important skill, then neglected to show details on hand position, wrist movement or arm movement. Spent too little time with details. DVD should have been at least twice as long as the meager 32 minutes on this DVD.

This was an embarressment to girls lacrosse.

  3. I bought this DVD for my daughter who starting playing lacrosse this summer. The instruction provided by Coach Levy was extremely helpful. She broke down the basics of passing, catching, ground balls, shooting and dodging in a manner that was easy to understand (for both myself and my daughter). The drills that follow the skill instruction are also very helpful because they reinforce the techniques that taught by Coach Levy. All and all, a very excellent learning tool!

  1. Like the first Winning Lacrosse DVD, for beginners, this intermediate video is well produced and packed with good information. Highy recommended!

  2. This DVD isn't going to make you a complete coach but it does contain some good advice about putting together drills that will help your players build on fundamental skills and begin incorporating them into team concepts. Definitely worth a look.

  3. I am very impressed with the content of the dvd. Segments are very well defined and the structure is easy to navigate through. Concepts are well demonstrated and explained and the visual aids used are top-notch. The drills are very well explained and can easily be transformed into plays. As a coach with 8 years of experience coaching grades 4 through 8, I am taking over the High School Varsity for the first time. This dvd series has helped imensely so far & I can't wait for the series to continue!

  1. For my birthday my mom got me this video and I watch it every week because it does an awesome job teaching a new player like myself the right way to do stuff. I recommend it to other new players who want to get ahead. It's pretty cool.

  2. As a dad trying to play catch-up with my son's love of lacrosse, I have watched (endured) a lot of videos on the subject. Winning Lacrosse is by far the most informative and most watchable of the bunch. It breaks down all of the basic skills really well, and then gives drills you can run to practice what you've learned. The coach really knows his stuff and communicates in a way that is as clear to me as it is to my son.

  3. As a youth sport administrator, training coaches on how to teach proper fundamentals is essential. This video is an excellent introduction for first time coaches that may be hesitant to coach a sport that they have never played. I would recommend it to any parent, coach or player that wants to learn more about lacrosse.

  4. As a rookie assistant lacrosse coach, I found this DVD extremely helpful in teaching some of the basic skills and techniques for young lax players. The sample drills were perfect for players of all levels.

  5. This DVD is great for both coaches and players who want to learn basic skills in lacrosse. I have two sons ages 8 and 9, and we have watched this video multiple times together. I also plan on using many of the drills in my practices. U11 lacrosse is all about teaching skills and fundamentals. This DVD really helps in that regard. I highly recommend it.
