- I bought this as a test if I liked rebounding before I bought the more expensive Needak Rebounders. I loved it so much I didnt need to buy the Needak. I am an Engineer and I looked the design of my Rebounder, and I could not find a flaw in it's design and build quality. At this price, with free delivery, it is a no brainer. My 7 year old loves it too. We walk, jog, and bounce on it when we watch TV. I will buy another for him so we can rebound together.

5 comments about Urban Rebounder Folding Trampoline Workout System.
- Bought this 2nd Urban Rebounder for my son with autism. He weighs 200 pounds. He loves to bounce, hard. This so far lasted more than the other ones he had.
- This product was a great price, the frame is very sturdy (it's quite heavy) and the springs are really good. It is very soft bounce and works quite well.
One of the rubber ends on the legs split, otherwise it has been working very well....you get a great workout in a short time, even when you don't feel like doing much. I have recommended this to many people...I could be a salesman for the company! I like it that much.
- I have read a lot of reviews for rebounders were people had problems with the springs breaking or coming off. To my relief this hasn't been a problem for me (knock on wood). I use my rebounder regularly (4-6 times a week) so it's not from lack of use! I was a little nervouse opening it up, but no problems there either, tho I will admit I don't fold it back down - I just store it set up.
As for the work out - I was surprised at how good it is. I use the gym regularly - but still found my self a bit whipped by the cardio the first time I tried it. It doesn't leave me in pain, but I can "feel" I've had a decent work out.If you're not used to exercise I would suggest starting off easy (read as: don't bounce, just go through the motions as best you can) and be sure to stretch afterwards to avoid hurting/soreness.
I'm really diggin' it - at first I felt silly on it, but it saves me time by not having to always go to the gym, and I've shed some weight, which is always a good thing! No problems here!
- It sure did increase my heart rate, and it gave me a fair workout to my legs, my calves, and ankles which always burned the next morning. I don't know if that is normal to have annoying leg pain in the morning and having difficulty getting out of bed. Also, another complaint is that a sales person called me about six months after trying to sell me more workout videos/DVD's which was very unwelcomed! However after a year of not using it, I tossed it to the curb.
- Before buying my Urban Rebounder, I read many articles on rebounding, and at first I thought "How can I get all these health benefits just from bouncing?" Well, I found out! I've had my rebounder less than 24 hours, but I watched the DVD it came with and I used the rebounder for a total of about 10 minutes just trying out some of the basic moves. The next morning, I felt the results in my legs and thighs, so if that's what I get just for playing around on it I now believe that rebounding is just as effective as all the articles say it is. The workouts, though fun, are really intense. I got fatigued while doing basic moves and working on my form, so I already know that it will take me a while to get through the actual DVD workouts... but I'm looking forward to it!
Though I like rebounding itself, my actual experience with ordering one was not so great. I was initially very pleased with Amazon and Bayou Fitness because I received my order in only 3 days. That joy quickly turned sour, however, when I opened the box and found that they had sent me a quarter-fold rebounder (two-fold), when I thought I was getting a half-fold rebounder (one fold, as shown in the above photos). I didn't want my rebounder to fold at all - as I have enough space in my house and I never planned on taking it anywhere - but the no-fold models are expensive. I am disappointed with this quarter-fold UR, because to me it seems as if these folds compromise the stability of the frame. To further add to the confusion, I couldn't find any quarter-fold URs online, so I called Urban Rebounding and I was told that they don't make quarter fold rebounders. I then called Bayou Fitness (the seller) and they said that Urban Rebounding no longer makes half-folds, and they now only make quarter-folds. Even after I told them that Urban Rebounding denied this, they stuck to their story. Now I don't know WHAT type of rebounder I have, and I'm trying to decide if I should send this thing back to Bayou Fitness or just buy a new ReboundAIR (which is what I wanted in the first place but I was put off by the price) and keep this folding UR in case I ever DO want to travel with it. Who knows? They say I'll get hooked on rebounding so that just might happen.
The fold thing had me upset but I still put the UR together to test it out. The set-up is easy and WOULD HAVE taken about 10 minutes, but one of the springs was detached from the frame. I guess I'm not strong or maybe I needed another person, but it took me about 45 minutes to get that thing back on there. It was awful and I was almost to the point that I was going to leave it off, but I eventually got the spring hooked up again. I sure hope that none of my springs break any time soon, because then I'll be in trouble! The final straw came when I learned that I could've saved $20 by ordering directly from the seller's website, but that's what I get for blindly trusting Amazon. The quarter-fold isn't THAT bad, but I'm concerned about how long it will last and I don't want it to fall apart on me because I can already tell that I will enjoy rebounding.

- After spending thousands of dollars on Elliptical and treadmill I came across the rebounder while doing a search for cellulite reduction. I have four weeks to tone up before a trip to the Bahamas. We set this up right in the middle of our family room and my husband and I are doing four 10 minute sessions throughout the day. This is virtually painless and takes very little effort to get on for 10 minutes. I will slowly increase to 15 minute sessons and in the book that came with it it says to slowly work your way into it because if you over-do it your toxins will be released too quickly. Something about jumping up and down that actually detoxifies the cells. Even though we have only had it a week, both of us can notice a big difference in the tone of our bodies already! If you are a person that does not like to exercise then this little inexpensive (compared to all the other stuff) is a Godsend. It's FUN and IT WORKS LIKE NOTHING ELSE!!!!
It is QUALITY no doubt. We got the folding one so we could take it with us to our cabin. It comes with a nice carrier that has a strap. It is quite heavy! It isn't that big of a deal to set it up, especially with two people. It also came with a book that is quite motivating, and a dvd that gets into the scientific effect that rebounding has on the cells. Very informative and motivating! There is a story in the book about an elderly lady with cataracts that started using the rebounder and her cataracts went away. She had also suffered with an inner ear "imbalance" condition that was cured as well.
If you do some research on what rebounding does to the cells in your body you will be convinced that this very well could be the ticket to the FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH! I am excited to see how I will feel in a couple of months since I am seeing results this quickly. Keeping your "bum" tight and pushing off with your toes 100 times will tighten your whole back side. Great for shaping up those calves to. Ladies if you want sexy legs the fun way, get yourself one of these, put on some rockin' music and go to town! I would recommend this rebounder to ANYONE and especially for those of you who want to nail that ugly cellulite and lose weight!
This was shipped the day I ordered it and it came in about five days. BRAVO!!
- I bought my Needak rebounder six weeks ago. The reviews I read on this site heavily influenced my decision, so I want to reaffirm the quality of this product. I did a lot of online research on rebounders. This is the only model that filled every need I had: excellent warranty, weight limit of 300 pounds (so all family members could use it), 5-star reviews affirming the quality of the model. I bought my model on an auction site with a buy-it-now feature because the shipping was lower than Amazon. You won't find a new model any cheaper because Needak controls the price, so finding the best deal on shipping is all you can do. The model I bought is round with collapsible legs (no assembly whatsoever) which snap tightly into place, either flat or extended. YOU WILL NEVER REGRET PAYING FOR THE QUALITY OF THIS MODEL. Now for my personal testimony: I'm a 43-year-old woman with 28% body fat. I haven't exercised regularly because I get bored. Bouncing on the rebounder is still fun after six weeks, which surprises me. I have had nagging left hip pain for a couple years. After using the rebounder for six days I noticed that my hip pain was gone. The only time it has come back is when I go for more than four days without exercising on the rebounder. My typical workout is alternating jumping jacks (for upper torso workout) and jogging in place (adjusting knee lift for intensity). I get a cardio workout and break a light sweat without joint pain. The books that come with the Needak rebounder give a lot of good information about the benefits of rebounding (some a little radical to swallow, but take it with a grain of salt.) I have to admit that the basic benefits touted in the books are true, and I feel a sense of wellness that I have not achieved with other exercise methods.
- As a family we all love this rebounder. It is used several times a day and is so much fun. I love watching my favorite television show and bouncing. Before I know it I have been on for 30 minutes or longer. Start slowly because it does cleanse your body and can make you feel very tired or sick if you do to much to fast. Enjoy it!
- Great rebounder. So much better than cheaper version I used to have, from Wal-mart. Fast shipping on this, as well!
- I got this rebounder about 2 weeks ago and I LOVE it. I use it every other day or so for 20-30 min of cardio while watching TV, and for a few minutes here and there of the "health bounce" (bouncing lightly without your feet leaving the mat) every day. I've lost 3lbs in 2 weeks on a restricted calorie diet using only rebounding as my source of exercise. I had been on the same diet and only losing about 0.5lbs per week before I started rebounding. I also noticed a very real reduction in cellulite. I still have 30 lbs to lose, so 3lbs lost isn't what changed the cellulite so noticeably. It had to be the rebounder. I do recommend that you get a good sports bra and empty your bladder before you start bouncing. This is just so much fun, and so easy to do... it was worth every penny and more!

- It certainly takes more than one person together. I was dissipointed that the "fold for easy storage", isn't so easy, the elastic pad that protects the user from the springs is very difficult to attach, I don't see myself doing that often. I chose to remove the legs and slide it under the bed. It's fun though!
- I bought this months ago when I was reading online about the benefits of rebounding. The price was right on this and Amazon shipped it out fast with prime shipping!
When my package arrived, everything was in tact and the original box that was shipped in was fine. I had read a lot of the reviews from people saying they were frightened to assemble it, it made me wonder if it was really going to be so bad after all.
I tackled the assembly process by myself and it probably took me about 35-40 minutes to put it together. I think the hardest part for me was screwing on the legs. It seems like you have to turn them for about 20 or 30 rotations each and some threading was tighter than others so I had to switch them around a bit during assembly, no big deal.
I read in the manual about the "could cause potential death" if you're snapping it open and shut by yourself during one part of the assembling process. I am not recommending anyone do it the way I did but I didn't need another person to help me. When the half circle mini trampoline fit into the latches correctly, you're suppose to open and snap down the two sides flat. But you have to use some force/strength in order to get it down, that's why they suggest two strong men. When there aren't two strong men around, us women have to use our smarts instead! I looked it over and decided the best approach would be to used my body's weight to leverage and balance myself to snap it open. Brace both sides of the equipment like you're opening a book, hold down one side with one arm and lean into the other side with your arms straight or stiff or tightened up, it pops down and snaps into place.
Now, I've never taken it apart and I think if any injury could result is from unfolding it. I leave my jogger up all the time so I can hop on it here and there throughout the day.
The kids seem to like it, I've even gotten my mom on it and it's easy on her joints and mine too! You don't need to work out like crazy but you definitely feel it in your legs the next day even if you're only on it for 10 minutes straight jumping. Plus it is kind of fun to jump and bounce on it. I liked it so much, I bought a second one for my nieces for their house. That time I was on a time crunch and manage to assemble their unit in about 20 minutes....and again, the hardest part was screwing on the legs. The cover took a little time to put on due to the tight fit but nothing too awkward to do.
Overall, the intone jogger is a good piece of workout equipment that didn't break the bank account. I use it and am enjoying the benefits of it. The only odd thing is that once you've been jumping on it, getting off it and onto solid ground seem sooo....well, solid. Walking right after a bounce session makes me feel like I have lead in my foot and I wonder...whatever happened to that bounce in my step??!? Rebounding is pretty addictive and fun, try it for yourself!
- I bought this item so that I could easily work out whenever I wanted to at home. My 11 year old daughter and I have thuroughly enjoyed having it. I have had it now for about three months without any problems whatsoever. The handles are great for balance when jogging or just simple exercises. I highly recommend this product to anyone. My husband had it assembled in about 5 minutes and it has not had a problem since.
- Our kids really love jumping around on this little trampoline! And I like the fact that it is safer for them with the handlebar. It's a great way to expend some of their extra energy.
- I bought this trampoline over a month ago and I have really enjoyed it. I have back problems and was thrilled to be able to use this exercise equipment without my back hurting. It is alot of fun. I found the video helpful for ideas on different exercises to do on the trampoline, but I find it much more enjoyable putting on loud music and just doing the exercises on my own. I was pleased with the quality of this trampoline. My kids use it to play on (which is great exercise for them and they don't even realize it!) and I am still able to use it everyday for 20 minutes. I find it to be good quality for the price.

5 comments about Needak Soft Bounce Non-Folding Rebounder Rebounder.
- I have had mine for a couple of years now and swear by it. I hate to exercise basically. Over the years I have had steppers, bicycle, etc. I did not like any of them, and I don't like exercise by walking unless I'm shopping. When I first received my Needak I used it a minute the first day, then progressed. I am now up to 30 minutes per day. I exercise in 10 minute increments 3 times a day. I had stopped for a time mainly because I was juut plain lazy. Then I found out I am diabetic, so I am back to using it for at least 30 minutes per day. I suggest getting the stabilizer bar for some control. I am 75, so believe me I don't do cartwheels on it or anything, but holding on to the stabilizer bar and bouncing to fast dance music is very enjoyable. Incidentally, a friend of mine was given a trampoline about the size of mine, but it was so hard on her body she had to stop using it, and she is in her 40s.
- I love this rebounder. I had a much less expensive one that had a harder bounce. I was experiencing back & knee pain if I was on it for more than 10min. I'm on the Needak rebounder for at least 15 min each time I use it, & sometimes much longer, and have had no problem at all. It's definitely worth the investment.
- I just purchased a Needak Soft Bounce non-folding rebounder from RawReform, the cover at the edges does not even cover half the length of the springs all around, leaving the springs exposed; whereas in the amazon website the springs are covered in almost all the pics. The cover around the circumference is just nylon, whereas it looks cushioned in the pics in amazon website. Plus I didn't get the FREE carrying bag that was supposed to be in the package. I did call Needak, they said they'll send in a bigger cover, but it might not cover all the springs.
- Great product.
This is the only rebounder that is American made. Highly recommended. I have owned others and the are poorly built Asian rejects.
- Thanks to all of the Amazon.com reviewers who recommended this product. It's very well built and very easy to ready for first use - just as you all said. What I did when it arrived: (1)Opened the box. (2)Removed the trampoline. (3)Removed the plastic bag. (4)Stretched each leg (attached by a spring)and slipped it over its post. (5)Placed it on the floor. It probably took me only three minutes. My point is that it's virtually assembly-free and of very good quality. I've never owned one of the less expensive trampolines. However, based on their reviews, I decided to stay away from them and invest in this one instead. Although it's quite a bit more expensive, I feel that I've made a very worthwhile purchase.

- This product is excellent. Since the price was so reasonable, I had limited expectations, but this product is extremely well made. The piece is flawlessly constructed, easy to assemble, and made of high quality materials. This was really a bargain and a find!
- This is a sturdy rebounder. The handle is only slightly loose, but I think it requires a little give. Assembly was very quick and easy, had it up and going within 20min. Has great durability. Like a previous poster stated, it's great for the whole family.
- Two springs already broke and the handle is wobbly. Too bad because I liked it.
- This is a solid rebounder, and it is rated for adult weight capacity. I got this for myself, but my children love it, too. Great for the whole family.
- Sturdy and east to store. A great way to get the heart rate up without causing pain to your knees ankles or hips. I can "run" through the morning news and weather shows and have my cardio done for the day. Great product, reasonable price.

- I bought this for my 2 year old granddaughter. She loves this trampoline! It is very safe and low to the ground so she can get in and out by herself. I like this product because I can have it on my screened lanai and she can play on it even when it rains. Great product and I would highly recommend it.
- It took me a day (stopping and starting again because I was frustrated) to put this trampoline together. The tool given was no help at all. But once up the kids (3yrs and 6 yrs) love it. It seems like a very sturdy product.
