1. This is a sturdy, well built product. I don't see it breaking easily. It is a bit pricey considering it is manually operated. However, once I got through a batting session with my son, I felt it was well worth it. The adjustment system is intuitive. It allows you to set pitches from 20 MPH to 45 MPH while being able to adjust the height of the pitch at each speed. The pitches are accurate within a few inches of each other once you get your settings locked in. As the settings are all held in place by bolts/pins, you don't have to do any major recalibration between sessions. I'd recommend it to any mom/dad who is tired of trying to lob strikes to their beginning hitter's already small strike zone.



2. This is a great, quality product. As anyone who has tried knows, making consistant and accurate pitches to a beginner is very difficult. This machine makes remarkably consistant pitches with regulation balls and serves as a great training tool for a youngster. It is easy to use and does not require any electricity or batteries - a major plus. You can throw it in the back of your car and head to the park for hours of fun.
