2 comments about DPMS Carbine Panther A15 High Power Electric Airsoft Gun.
- This gun is prett good! It's definetely not a Tokyo Marui or Classic Army gun, but it is an excellent starter AEG. Alhtough the gun is mostly plastic, it is quite heavy and feels pretty sturdy. I've already put a few thousand rounds through it, and the internals seem pretty sturdy and reliable. The hopup is also easily adjusted. The gun DOES hit at around 260 fps (no more of the WELL/CYMA fps lies),and it does sting quite a bit to be hit. I consider this gun to be a better starter AEG than the SRC SR4 because it seems more reliable all around.
Now, for the bad things.... The gun itself is not an exact copy of the Tokyo Marui M16 or A15. This means that there are some parts missing. The first is the Charging lever bolt that opens/closes the dustcover. This is where the cartridges would come out in real life. The distcover does not stay closed, which can make the gun dirty and less reliable. THe major disadvantage is that the Panther DOES NOT accept Star ot Tokyo Marui magazines. I was really bummed because there are no fitting low cap mags for the A-15. All in all though, the gun is good for a first AEG or something better than a WELL gun.
- Awsome gun! Very beautiful, and a true AEG and MUCH better than Well products which aren't even real AEGs. Just Mini's in disguise! This is a modern AEG and features the spring release system that many new AEGs feature! The description of this gun is wrong, first, it is a replica of the M773, goes 262 fps and has a magizine capacity of 200 rounds and not 300. It is a high cap which means no shaking and all you have to do is wind the gear on the bottom after filling the back of the mag! It could also use Marui Magazines and products since they also have a replica of the M773! And I think it was based off of marui guns, but feels like its spring couterpart!
