- I bought the 30# model, and it's a great shooter.
Pros:
The riser comes pre-drilled for a quiver, stabilizer on the front and a plunger.
Since the limbs are removable, the weight of the pull can be adjusted up or down with a new set of limbs.
The $100 price tag for a new bow makes it one of the least expensive bows out there.
Cons:
Good deal of hand shock. The bow rattles my teeth after releasing, but I'm sure some string silencers will help out a great deal.
Final evaluation:
For the price, probably the best shooting bow out there. You can shoot it all day and not get tired, making it a perfect bow for anyone looking to work on form or wanting to have fun with the kids.
- This bow has proven to be an excellent product and very reasonably priced. It is much more fun to shoot for extended periods of time than my more powerful compound bow. I am very satisfied.

- This is a great youth bow that even our teenagers enjoy. We easily would have given it 5 stars, however we had a problem in that the arrow "holder" broke off and we had to pull a spring-type from an old bow and improvise. Other than that a great bow for young archers.
- I purchased this for my 9 yr old son. This is a great beginner bow, very sturdy and well made; I was shocked at how reasonable the price was. My son and his friends play with it every day; they love it. I highly recomend this product to any one.

- Our daughter loves this little set. It is great for fun in the back yard.
- Got this for my 8 year old son's birthday. He had begun archery class with the Cub Scouts and wanted something to practice with at home. This works perfectly, the draw weight and length are just right making it easy for him to practice good form.
If you're looking for a "toy" with safety arrows, then this isn't for you. But if you are wanting a nice little starter set for "real" ...then this is really nice.
- Bought this for our 5 year-old grandson so he can shoot targets with grandpa...works great...not too much for him. Recommended for very young childen.

- It's a good product for beginners. My son was ecstatic when he opened it. We won't let him use it without parental supervision, though. The arrows aren't sharp, but could probably take an eye out if not careful.
- This was a gift, so I have personally never used it. Looked like a great set, and the recipient was happy.

- My grandsons, both age 6 yrs. love these bows. They are easy to shoot, durable and provide hours of enjoyment for them and because they must be supervised while they use the bows, it gives me quality time with them.
- Bought this bow for our 6 to 8 year-old grandchildren to shoot targets with grandpa. Nice intermediate although many youth could go right to the Bear Cub Bow set.
- outstanding product. received actually rather quickly. haven't openend it yet. it's a birthday gift for my daughter.

- Be sure, when you get the bow, to adjust the rubber grip downward. The arrow rests on the top of the grip, so you want the grip placed slightly below center. Unfortunatley, I kept it how it came, with the grip placed in the center so my arrow would be slightly off center. Low and behold, more stress was placed on the upper half of the bow due to the incorrect grip placement, and the fiberglass splintered as the arrow was drawn back (this occured after firing several shots). When I adjusted the grip correctly(just pull on it) the bow became more powerful and accurate, and I was quite satisfied. The splinter doesn't look fatal, and can be taped over. Just heed this warning! The bow itself is good, and comes with one string (which is becoming worn). Really, the only problem is the grip, which must be moved.

- Arrow tips started falling off on first use.
No arrow rest so the feathers hit the bow affecting accuracy.
- My 7 year old got this for Christmas, and wants to go out every day to "practice". We bought a couple of haystacks to have something to shoot at. This is "real" - the arrows have metal tips, the bow is wooden and almost as tall as he is, and when you shoot properly, it will go quite a distance - my 7 year old can shoot it over 50 yards and has only had it a few days. It comes with everything you need - the bow, several arrows, a thing with a belt clip to hold the arrows, wrist gaurd and two targets. One warning - it is not a toy, we require that he have supervision using it and shoot it only at the target. While the arrows are not really sharp, I would imagine that it could injure any person or animal it hit.
- Ordered this archery set for my six year old son after he expressed interest a couple times in wanting to shoot my compound bow- which he's just a wee bit small to handle. He's not a very big kid for his age- and this junior bow is probably a bit big for him- but he's determined enough in keeping up with dad and with a litt instruction (not much) he's got it down pretty well. As his skill level improves- I hope the next door neighbor lady's cat stays off the top of the fence.
- My boys have not come in the house since they received this for Christmas. They LOVE it. It is great for beginners and easy for the kids to figure out.

- I bought this bow set for my little brother thinking it would nice and strong,
It was'nt. The shipping time is good. When it arrived I assumed it would shoot way more than 20 feet, even after I tightened it as hard as I could. You get what is on the picture, it looks good but is way to weak and the sticker was half on the bow, there is no reason to even sell a bow this weak. When I was a kid our homemade bows where at least ten times stronger. I should of gave him $50 instead of wasting it. You would be lucky to penetrate cardboard, assuming you hit it becouse the arrows tends to fly towards the floor.
- We bought this for our 10 year old for his birthday. He had been shooting homemade bows... cheapy nerf suction cup bows, and we thought it time for a graduation to a "real bow". This delivered in every area. Not only does it look wonderful and grown up to him, it shoots very well too. We bought the extra arrows that are recommeneded at checkout, and he has been shooting it every day since we got it. He LOVES it.. and it is a great buy. Highly Recommended.
- In spite of the one negative review, I went ahead and purchased this. Good deal! Very nice bow--sturdy.
- I got this set for my kids (9 & 7) who had shot arrows at Cub Scout camp. This set is a complete waste of money. An arrow shot from this bow has a maximum range of no more than 15 feet. At that distance the arrow will sometimes penatrate a cardboard target. An "arrow holder" attached to the bow lasted for about 3 or 4 arrows before it fell off. I wanted to give my kids an archery set that they could practice with and instead got junk. I would have done better finding an old stick and a shoe string. Don't waste your time and money with this set.
- this is good for kids 9-14. It aims as good as a bow that costs 400 dollars. These arrows are very durable. You should by this bow for your child
