  1. The pop-up net is very good. It is pretty easy and quick to put up and take down. I wish it was 1 foot higher, as some of the girls hit it over the net. The carrying bag is a little small and not very sturdy. I have had this for a month and have used it probably 15 times and the carrying bag is ripping apart in three different places.

  2. You can hit into it from a few feet away or throw into it and it deadens the ball perfectly. We couldn't practice batting anymore because I was worried my son would hit the ball through someones window. Now off a tee or from me soft tossing he can hit all day long. Great product. It folds away into a 3 ft diameter cirlce too.

  3. My 7 and 14 year olds used this for extra practice during baseball season. It's nice that they can use it alone, so they don't have to wait for an adult to pitch to or catch with them.

  4. This was an instant "hit" at our house. Compact, durable, easy-to-use and my (9-year-old) son's hitting improved immensly. We pack it up and bring it to the field or wherever. It comes with a retaining strap, stakes, instructions and a carrying bag. Easily tosses into the back seat, or back of a pickup truck. Setup a cinch, just "toss" it out into the grass and it springs open, then pull the side straps tight and secure it with the stakes quickly and easily. Only "con" is you have to be careful folding it back up the first couple times until you get the hang of it, as it can pop back up at you.

Very durable - he hits about a hundred balls a day into this all summer with not the slightest sign of wear. Has a strike zone target, you can pitch into it too. A super value - get this thing.

  5. Great baseball net, my 7 year old son loves it and allows him to practice hitting and pitching while I watch and try to correct his technique. I also use it for my little league team and the kids also love it. It looks to be a strong built and it sets up in seconds. However, you forget what a wonderful product it is when you have to fold it back. It can be frustrating, so far I haven't been able to fold back into the small circle it was when I opened it for the first time, and because of that I cannot use the bag it's suppose to go into when finished using it.

2 comments about Shock Doctor White Compression Shorts with Flex Cup.

  1. I could only give this combo 4 stars because the "Protective Flex Cup" is no comparison for the company's X-Flex cups. Had that cup been included with these compression shorts, it would've been 5 stars with no question.

So, if you pick this up, check out the X-Flex aka Carbon Flex cup up to replace the not-as-nice basic Flex cup included.

Otherwise, it is still better than most other cup/jock combos out there. So if you can't find the other, this will do in a pinch.

As for the compression shorts, due to the "fit" of them with the cup, this is probably best suited for Hockey or Martial Arts, not for something like Baseball.

  2. I use this item while practicing karate. It protected against an accidentally uncontrolled kicks as it properly diverted the force of impact to less sensitive areas. Definitely recommended when practicing kumite.
The cup is not in the way, even when doing warming up exersizes. When laying on your stomach you can feel it, but it is not getting in the way (even with things like Bhujangasana).

However I was most pleasantly surprised that the smoothness of fabric of the shorts also helps when kicking, not having to go and 'pull up' the trousers by hand to do a high kick.

I took a white one to match the Karate-gi color, although I don't think there is much of a chance to see this through dense fabric of the gi.

  1. Once I received the correct size of this product from a different company after I returned the wrong size [...] sent me I found out with my daughter whom they were bought for that they are great sliding/knee pads for softball. Not impressed with [...] since I ordered a Medium and they sent Small and then after I returned them it took over a month to receive a refund.

  1. I think these wrist bands from ATAFA are very nice and cheap. I bought several wrist bands a few days ago and they were received on time. More important, these bands have very good quality. Overall, I would like to rate them "5 stars".

2 comments about New Design! Long Sliding/Fielding Knee Guard (Available in 5 Colors).

  1. I've been searching for safetgard sliders for two years to replace my daughters' old ones. I have bought and returned (or eaten the cost) many inferior makes during that time. I finally thought to contact the company and they told me about Amazon for sports gear. Just in time--I was about to go to foam dog bedding and duct tape to repair the old ones. These are the best and the only ones the girls like. The velcro makes a huge difference in fit and stability. I don't know what the other reviewer was was saying about size. My 5'10" slender but not skinny 16-year-old wears the small. My 5'5" 140 lb. 14-year-old powerhouse wore a large, but I've purchased her medium in the both the long and short version. If they don't fit, I'll revise this.

PS--This is the only product review I've ever written. I'm just recently appreciating the convenience of the amazing Amazon.
