1. I've had a Beeman P-3 for several years. I bought mine when they were first out on the market. I have shot thousands of pellets through this pistol and continue to do so. I shoot mine in the garage several times a week. Accuracy is superb. When I first shot in a ten meter air pistol match, I didn't own a match grade air pistol, they cost thousands of dollars. I took my beeman P-3. I didn't win, but I didn't look foolish either. This gun is very well designed, well made, requires little maintenance and has a great trigger. I don't know about the P-17. Some internet comments talk about leaks developing quite early. I am sure you can't go wrong with the German made P-3. I wish it were a little heavier, but otherwise it is close to perfect.



2. This is my first air pistol purchase. I usually shoot a HKUSP40 but wanted an air pistol for winter shooting in the basement (and something not as expensive to shoot!). I am very pleased with the pistol and the quality is excellent.The trigger is real crisp. My only complaint is that the safety automatically 'safes' every time you load the pistol. I am sure this is to keep the corporate lawyers happy and because some moron shot themselves in the kneecap because they didn't have sense to keep their finer away from the trigger. I would definitely recommend the pistol and think the value and craftsmanship (luv German made guns!) are excellent. Happy shooting!



3. The P3 is made in Germany and is marketed by Beeman. It is an excellent air pistol. Beeman also markets (through its other company, Marksman) the Marksman 2004. It is made in China and is an exact copy of the P3 at about 1/3 the price of the P3. It also is excellent. I must assume the P3 is a slight notch above the 2004 model due to it cost. But check out the "Marksman 2004" model before you make a final decision.
   
   BTW. This is not a small pistol it is very large single shot air gun. It is hard to load, but nice to shoot. You open the top and load the pellet into the end of the barrel then push down hard to pump the piston. No C02 is required. One pump per shot.



4. The Beeman P3 is the first quality air pistol to join the ranks of the now elite polymer firearm pistols, EXCELLENT ACCURACY. Any muzzle flip. An automatic safety prevents "beartrap" closing or accidental discharge. I love this Airgun. I don't use co2 pistol again.If you want a great airgun, buy this.

1. FirePower spring pistols continue to impress me and how long they've lasted after taking much of a beating still amazes me. The Thunder Elite is no exception. It is modeled after the U.S. Marine's M-9 (Beretta 92FS) pistol and packs a good punch, always shooting in the Upper 200s FPS wise no matter what weight round you put into it. It is very accurate and feels natural and real in your hand. I highly recommend this gun as well as all other FirePower spring pistols. Just be sure to buy extra magazines, they double the fun!

1. The pistol and laser nicely packaged in a small mailing box. The laser was outside the pistol box but was not damaged. The first thing I noticed when I opened the pistol box were the bb's. The bag had broken and spilled them around the box. Do NOT use the included bb's. Many of them were broken in half and are clearly cheaply made. If you use them they may break in the gun/clip. That aside the rest of the contents were very nice. The gun came with two clips, one was a thick bottomed one that extends the handle of the gun about an inch and the other was a standard clip. Both holds 10 not 15. I would only put about 9 in just to be safe. Both clips are weighted. You must load the bb's one at a time. The gun has 2 removable parts already attached. First is the rail system, then the barrel extender that allows the suppressor to be attached. Both these come attached already to the gun. To remove them it's as simple as pushing a small tab in and they slide off. The gun also came with 3 other attachments. One was the laser. I would recommend attaching it to the bottom rail, but it stopped working a few minutes after I first used it. Next would be the scope. To attach it pull up on the "dial" and slide it on, to lock let go of the dial. The scope comes with a clear plastic viewing port with clear plastic cross-hairs. I'm going to paint he cross-hairs black to be more visible. Last attachment is the suppressor. It slides into the barrel extender and locks in place by twisting lightly to the right. When it was locked in place it angled toward the ground so I left it just pushed in, it seems to hold just fine like that. The gun also came with a pair of safety glasses. The glasses didn't seem to look like they could survive a bb hit and made your vision worse. There isn't a safety button or tab so do NOT cock it when you aren't playing.
