- I ordered this airsoft gun expecting to find a low-end, crappy Chinese airsoft gun that would serve as a decent wall-hanger; what I got was the p228c, a close relative of the p198f in the "Also Viewed" section of this page. Granted, the seller contacted me and refunded my money, but still, just throwing it out there that THIS gun is either not the one you will get, or the seller is withholding on it.
- I got this gun because it looked cool but is has cheap plastic and doesnt fire straight. It is also VERY hard to cock. I would recommend a Walther gun instead of this thing...

- I have owned this pistol for about 3 months, and fired close to five thousand rounds through the gun. This is one of the more powerful electric pistols I have found to date. It is a metal bodied pistol, except for the scales on the handle (who cares right). The battery is easily removed for charging. This pistol shoots upwards of 320 fps, I know this because I have a spring action pistol that is rated for 320 fps and this one out performs it. I would recommnd buying additional magazines for the gun, but otherwise this is a good buy for the money.

- I did not own this (so called gun ) for more than a few hours before I had cuts on my hands from the poor finish. The weight is perfect for a long throw in the Dump ! Within that few hours the pumping got easier and the trigger would pull all the way with no effort. The problem was you did not know how many times you had to pull the trigger before it would fire. ( a big safety item ) Just Junk this ITEM and get your money back Better yet do not buy in the first place, it will cost you to ship it both ways. Not quite fare to anyone............
- I shot this about 40 times before it crapped out....I didn't even have it 24 hours! Gave it a whole star only because there is no lower rating. Stay away from this one!
- I own two other airgun pistols that are under 65.00 ea and by far this gun is the best in ALL aspects! The Baikal 53 was a terrible dissapointment to me (in every way), the crosman 1088 is so cheaply made and lacked so much power that I cant wat to shoot up the air cartidges and ebay the gun!
This Beeman P-17 single action pump delivers FAR more power than BOTH of the guns I just mentioned and the accuracy is far superior. Althought the main body is plastic, it is VERY sturdy. without the cheap thin pieces that the 1088 has, the Beeman feels like it is built thick and heavy (comfortably so) and would probably still fire if I dropped it off my 35 foot high deck in the backyard! I does NOT have that "plastic" look or feel that most low cost airguns have
I want to add that it is the MOST difficult air gun to load a pellet into (of any I have ever shot!) and I own 11 air guns and have fired many more! I cant help but wonder what they were thinking when they engineered it! It IS possible just dificult and time consuming. (I can fire the Baikal-53 two or thre times in the same amount of time it take to load and fire this gun once) If your fingers arnt extremely agile, like my fathers, who is a young 67 and loves to shoot with me, you DEFINITLY should look at this gun before buying it and try it out. THAT IS THE HARD TO FIND ADVICE ABOUT THIS GUN. Also it is reguires a VERY strong arm to cock, and you will read that in many reviews. (my dad barley does it... but he can with some complaints) I am amazed that I havent read ANYTHING about the dificulty of loading however, which really is no problem for me, but is for those that I shoot with.
This gun fires like a much more expensive airgun. I love it, and am going to buy a second one. The down points I mentioned really arnt down points to me I just want to be helpful for those that want to read a review about the gun, besides in my opinion the extra strength required and the "chamber" entrance location are small prices to pay for the superior perfomance of this airgun. Take at least some of this advice from somone who just bought three different air pistols in this price range this month.
Have fun and ALWAYS be safe when using ANY type of gun!
- I've purchased this pistol after doing some study and people rated it as a very precise and quiet one. In general, I'm not disappointed with my choice. The pistol is heavy, though the center of mass is a bit too high because the body is made of plastic and all metal parts are in its upper part. One thing that bothered me was the sharp plastic edge near the rear sight. When one closes the upper lid (and believe me, it requires some effort since we want to get 410fps out of single stroke) this edge is a pain in .. the left palm.
Fortunately, the plastic can be easily cut. Another problem is a loose metal rod that fixes the upper lid in "down" position. It tends to move to the left after some number of shots. I had to pull it out, scratch the ends and apply a couple of SuperGlue drops to fix it permanently on its place.
The good news is that the pistol serves its main purpose - shoot sharp :)
- First you have to understand that Beeman [...] owns Marksman. Beeman has a model P3 that is made in Germany and cost close to [...] . [...] The Marksman 2004 is made in China and is a copy of the Beeman P3. I think Beeman gave the specks to china, who knows. The gun is the same in every way. It is BIG and solid. It is unusual in the way that it cocks. You open the top, it hinges from the front, and it's a one push down to load/pump the cylinder. While it is open you place a pellet into the barrel opening. It is a single shot gun. it is somewhat hard to load, but packs a wallop when it fires. For the price I think it's worth it. I own quite a few air pistols, several Crosman, Gamo's and Sheridans. I think this one, is a match for the others.
I have heard that the Thumb Hammer (this actually is the catch for the top of the gun pump) wears out after a while. So I hold it open when I close the cylinder rather that snap it shut.

- This gun is solid, feels great, is mechanically sound and shoots straight and hard with .25 bbs. I LOVE this gun. It would be good to have an extra clip (clip holds 17 + the CO2 cartridge) but I haven't found one yet. The only downside is CO2 guns don't work so well when it's cold, and it's COLD here now. Keep it in a warm place, empty the mag, and put it back in a warm place (when using in the field).
- i ordered this gun about a week ago hoping for a bit stronger gun than my spring pistol and from reviews i saw on other websites this was supposed to be a good gun, unfortunately the flatline hop up system wasn't so flatline, the top spin was so much that the bb's were spinning straight to the ground after 30 ft. after breaking it in with a good few hundred rounds the accuracy got a little better but the bb's were still curving but this time they were curving to the right and down and sometimes up. maybe the accuracy will improve as i shoot it more but i can't rely on it in the airsoft wars it is just too unreliable in a tight situation especially when shooting more than 30ish feet. i haven't tried using .25 bb's yet that may help a bit but this gun is very powerful i was just a bit disappointed in the accuracy.

- I got it in like 2 days and i had to leave on a four day trip but i was very satisfied with it. the clip can be loaded by a speed loader in a round 3 seconds and its extremely easy to [...] and shoots fast. Definitley buy this gun as a pistol sidearm or a target practice gun. I recommend 20 gram bb's. get a speed loader with it! it'll save u so much stress!!!!!!!!!!
- this gun is good for beginner and expert airsofter. it is extremely accurate with .20g bbs

- First off I would like to say I love the way this gun looks. It's big but it fits nicely in your hands. Sadly that is about the only good thing about it.
The gun jams, is hard to load, frustrating to put in batteries, but all of these things I was willing to overlook until IT happened.
The gun has a major battery problem. On 4 fully charged AAA batteries the gun was able to shoot about 4 clips worth. So I used a battery tester to see if it was just the batteries messing up... it wasn't. The batteries showed a full charge. I went through this process about 3-4 times with the same result.
My advise. DO NOT GET THIS GUN!!!!! if for any reason you had to return this gun (which I did) it ends up costing you $10 more than you paid before. (If you spent $20 with shipping to you and then returned it, you would still be $20 in the hole)
What a shame...
- Let's begin. I ordered two of these. I got two of them. One had the motor burnt out by the time I got it, the other did not accept the magazine. Afetr arguing with the seller, the only responses I got were instructions on how to load and fire the gun, and to make sure i had the batteries incorrectly. I opened them up to find that the gun that didn't accept the magazine had internal parts cracked. A vain attempt to make one working gun from two worthless ones ended in failure. I'm out thirty bucks,
Such a shame...
- Okay, so when I first got it it was broken. However, after a week a new one arrive right at my doorstep and the only reason it took that long was because they had a hurricane that nocked out their power. Customer service is great, and the gun is wonderful. It's much bettter than $10 can get you anywhere else. The BB does start to sag at about 25 feet, but the gun does come with a great full auto mode that shoots at like 5 balls per second. If you don't want to blow hundreds on a pro gun, this is the way to go. BTW what you see in the picture has the included barrel attatchment on, the pistol itself is pretty small. I'd guess i'm getting about 150 fps with .12g BBs.
- It's a cool gun not sure of the FPS though, but when you take the magazine the batteries fall out! Not a big problem though
- pros: the gun looks like robocops pistol, its shoot a deceant amount of feet considering its and electric pistol, it has blow back and the clips hold about 19 rounds
cons: after the last shot is fired the clip usually come falling out with all the batteries, which gets kinda in the way
