- I bought this from a different site but it the same gun; gun works great and suggest that you get the exta shells. you will need them!
- This product is pretty fun, but can be a hassel to use. The spring in the pump is weak, so you have to pull then push the pump instead of just pulling it then letting it return. Also the shells only hold a few pellets which makes it so that you have to reload fairly often. The gun comes with .12 gram pellets but performs much better with .20 gram. The adjustible hop-up is a nice feature, allowing you to fine tune it so that you get the distance and accurracy that you want. Overall the gun is fairly good, but can be annoying to use. If you are looking for a good, reliable, and fairly cheap spring airsoft shotgun try the FirePower Intimidator Shotgun Spring Operated Airsoft Gun - Black
- My wife purchased this for me and it rocks!
More detail:
It IS plastic construction, but it is ABS so it has a solid feel to it. The rails and scope mount are also plastic but not ABS so you can figure they will probably break at some point. The 'good' news is you can find a lot of these type rails for cheap, OR you can replace them with more sturdy models. And you might want to. The shells hold 14 or so BBs each, (the package comes with what feel like 0.12gram bbs, but 0.20s are recomended) and the cocking handle and mechanism have a solid feel to them and a postive cock effect. One thing I've discovered is that if you rack the handle a few more times you will fire a 'spread' of 3 or more bbs at a time!
Two things I've noted on the weapon, one is that it is shorter than your average airsoft shotgun including the UTG and it makes for a 'quicker' weapon in CBQ, the other is that I've compared it to the 'cheap' 12 dollar SPAS and it seems that it would be compatable with the SPAS type skelton stock if you can get a cheap one somewhere. (I'd also note that my UTG Assualt Shotgun with collapsing stock looks like it would fit as well, though I haven't tried this yet.)
All in all, though I have yet to get it out to a 'real' game the practice sessions I've done lead to be recomend this as a VERY good buy for the price.
- It just kicks all sorts of behind. Smooth cocking action, LOTS of tactical add-on spots, and some added realism with the shells! EXCELLENT!

- This is a great gun, but you should get the semi auto version, because on almost every one of these guns, the fire selector is fragile. If you cock it when it is on safe the thing will break. I have one, and it lost the ability to shoot fully automatic. The semi auto full metal version is usually around 85 dollars. But if you are really interested in a machine pistol, that get the ksc glock 18c. It shoots full and semi at 320 fps and is pretty much indestructable. Plus you can get long 50 rd magazines for it.

2 comments about Blank Firing Replica Guns- Model 911 Auto 8MM Blue Starter Pistol.
- The Model 911 Auto 8MM Stage blank firing pistol is very authentic in its appearance and it feels like the real thing. It balances nicely and has the weight of the real gun.
The only problem I had with it is a dud cartridge. The dud wasn't the fault of the gun but I discovered that the gun uses the force of the blank cartridge when it fires to eject from the firing chamber and then loads the next cartridge from the clip. If a dud is encountered you must manually remove the cartridge thus ruining the effect of the scene if you're using the pistol for stage acting. This is the same functionality of a real pistol but with real pistols I've used it's easier to clear the dud cartridge from the firing chamber. Too avoid this problem, get high quality blanks.
Other than that I really like the pistol and it gives the effect of using a real gun in a play very well.
- Just bought a Kimar 911-black and it looks, feels and works like a real Colt.45 Automatic. Each detail, from the magazine, the chamber, safety, trigger, hammer, size and weight feels like you have a real.45 automatic in your hand. For that reason it should be displayed and used with care,as if it were a real Colt.45. I have it inside a 1916 leather holster(just like the WWII movies)and have also purchased a matching magazine leather case which holds two clips. I believe for the price $89.99-$102.00 (through Internet I got mine for $92.00)it is a bargain considering you are getting a true replica. Highly recommend it.
