  1. We just got ours by UPS yesterday. We got it on HSN.com (Now sold out) Weighed about 103 pounds and was completely in parts. My husband spent a few hours assembling it. It takes 4 D batteries for the display light and fan so make sure to have those on hand before it arrives. We bought this for my husband's knees. He has severe arthritis in both knees and found that riding the recumbent bikes at gym reduced the pain the next day. I purchased a recumbent bike because (with men) some of the taller bikes and other seats, men can get a numb feeling in a bad place which can also lead to reproductive complications. This bike has a great comfortable seat. The pedaling motion is as good if not better than the gym bikes and the display glows blue which I like all gadgets to glow blue. Fan and heart monitor seem to work well. He hasn't had time to go through all the preset programs yet. But so far, it was a good price and a great bike to get him.

  1. I was very excited when I received my new bike, especially after receiving the first one damaged in shipping. After it was put together,I was very dissapointed that when sitting on it with the seat at its closest position to the pedals, my feet barely touch the pads. So I would not recommend this bike for people shorter than 5'3". Didn't want to take it apart and ship it back so I now put a big pillow behind the seat so I am now sitting closer on the seat. It is not the most comfortable but it works for me. I still gave a 4 star because the programs are easy to use and this is a great bike for anyone over 5'3"

  1. I don't know if Cateye has updated their product, but the steering mechanism that tells the controller when you are turning broke on both of the game bikes we bought after only 2 months use. And it was only being used like twice a week. We've now had the bikes for 2 years. The peddling still works, and nothing else has broken, so as a normal exersize bike, it's okay. But for gaming on it, those parts broke. We found out it was easier just to play on it with out having it hooked up to a controller. So, you might as well just buy a normal exercise bike.

5 comments about FlyWheel Portable Mini Exercise Bike -Blue.

  1. While it is effective for arms, trying to pedal with the legs is impractical. This exerciser is too light to be used without it being braced by a table, chair, etc, to keep it from slipping when pedaling. Also, after about a week of use, one of the pedals stripped off.

  2. I am a diabetic, and knew that this portable exercise bike would be good exercise in the house. I have an exercise bike that I use in my garage, but the cold weather is the reason I recently purchased the FlyWheel. I realized immediately that the movements were jerky, causing my feet to slip from the pedals. Also, without the top straps, like on my full-sized exercise bike, I did not feel secure while pedaling.Even set at the loosest setting, I did not feel like the movements were fluid enough.

  3. The pedal fell off right away for me too. This is one type of purchase you'll want to spend a little more money on. I wish I had :(

  4. I don't think this is what you want if you are desperate for a hard workout, but for sitting in front of the TV and spinning away instead of being a lump, this is great. Due to a botched surgery, my inner gyroscope is completely discombobulated and I need something I can do at home because I can't drive to a club. This thing is small, portable, versatile, and the price is right. You can't fall off it. All pluses for me and maybe for you.

  5. Don't waste your money. A pedal broke off within the first five minutes of use. Also there is no company information so you can't get any replacement parts.
