- The only problem I had with this machine was that the elliptical did not come with a manual. We had to download one from the internet. It was also missing a couple of screws, but that did not affect the assembly. It took about 3 hours for my mechanically-inclined husband to put this together. It is very smooth and quiet during operation and also feels very solid. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but that doesn't matter to me. I was looking for a quality machine for under $1000 and feel like I found it.

- Bought this because it's a space-saver. I was not expecting too much, but this is a very bad elliptical unit. The limited range of motion combined with the irregular pumping action one experiences as you `cycle' through your steps make this machine a very, very poor choice for your supplemental workout (knees in particular). Better to spend an extra $100 - $200 and buy a larger unit that includes the moving arm-poles for a more total body workout. Something that gives you a smooth `ride' along with an adjustable stride. Several years ago, I bought a slightly more expensive machine with the desirable features I've listed above. It was big -- definitely not a space saver -- but it worked just fine and didn't cost a ton of money (sold it when I moved). I've learned my lesson and will be returning my purchase to Walgreens...and then start shopping for a better machine.

- This is a great machine. We used to for a month and have no complaints. You get the quality and feel of a commercial machine with home machine pricing. Don't waste your money on the cheaper machines. It took about an hour and a half to assemble with two people and with no problems. It is a little heavy and took a little effort to get out of the box. If you are serious about your exercise, this is the machine to get. A great value for the money.

- I'm 6'4" 265lbs. Wanting the very best elliptical I narrowed my search to Precor and the Life Fitness X7 & Club models. Testing the Precor models I found the incline ramp, even at it's lowest settting, put a little too much stress on my knees, not too bad but worried what years of working out like that would do to me in the end. So then it came down to the X7/Advanced or the Club model. I was worried the Club's fixed 18" stride might be to short for me so I was interested in the X7 which adjusts from 18" to 24". I found on the X7 anything over 18" I started to lean forward in a hunched over position, longer the stride the worse it got so the X7 was definitely out. The Club model was a perfect fit for me so I bought it and I'm very happy with it. I did get it at a local store. The X7 had the advantage of a little better console I thought being an lcd as opposed to the Club's led readout. The X7 was also completely silent while the Club had just a little bit of a whine noise while in use but nothing too loud you'd notice once the radio or tv is on.

- I was amazed at how well built the machine is. I weight 220 pounds and the trainer does not even move when I use it. It is also very, very quiet. I would highly recommend it. Worth every penny.
