5 comments about Mike Massey Billiards Corner Cue Rack.

  1. I went in search for a fairly cheap cue rack and liked the idea of these corner ones over a wall mount. The price is right and after it arrived, it assembled in 2 minutes. It's sturdy and does exactly what you'd exect - hold cue sticks. The only complaint is that the top "shelf" is a little too low to comfortably place drinks.

  2. This Rack is very easy to put together and very sturdy to use! Its a must own if you have a pool table!

  3. I had previously purchase a minnesota fats corner cue rack from K-Mart. It was solid wood and very good quality but was flawed. The felt area for the cue balls was too close together and at the most you could only fit 14 or 15 balls on it. Since, the only reason I purchased the product was for storage of the balls and cue sticks this was unacceptable. I returned it and searched amazon where I found the mike massey rack.

The Mike Massey rack is made of pressed board and is painted. I put my rack together on a soft surface and the paint chipped off the front edges exposing the black pressed board underneath. This product is flawed in that the paint does not adhere to it. This product is very poor quality. Only buy if you don't mind a little wear leaving it looking like it came from a thrift store or a garage sale.

  4. I didn't want a wall rack but needed something to get the pool sticks from leaning against the wall. Not having a lot of room, and for the price (1/2 what I saw on store sites) gave it a try. Assembled in 2 minutes, just connect the top & bottom tables with supplied "poles" and screw-in knobs. No glue or nails or anything. Sturdy and blends in perfect with my various wood colors in the room. Arrived in lightening time.

  5. Great Item, great value....Was a welcome piece of furniture for my gameroom...Keeps pool cues. drinks, chalk. rakes neatly organized into one area.

  1. The Cues were sent rapidly though amazon messed up the order at first, but rectified the situation quickly and the cues still arrived on the deadline. The only qualm I have about the cues are how fat the shafts are but that problem lies with the cue builder not with amazon.

  2. The sticks were just as advertised, came fast and the family was happy to get them

4 comments about Master Chalk (Box of 12 Cubes).

  1. Not much to say about it. It's good cue chalk. The cubes don't crumble as easy a some cheaper chalk I've bought,so they usually survive if they get dropped on the floor a few times.

  2. I got the chalk and loved it.It is so much better then any other chalk that I have used before.I don't miscue any more and it has improved my game alot.

  3. The box was received without damage, and the chalk inside was complete and not broken or cracked.

  4. Chalk is chalk. You douse the end of your cue with it. It stays on for a few shots, and allows a smoother glance of the cue. This chalk is no better or no worse than any other chalk I have used at the billiards table. After all chalk is chalk. Although I must say, it is a tremendous value, a fantastic price, at least one of the best I have seen.

1 comments about Rempe Training Ball.

  1. I found that this training aid had two benefits. The first was that it gave you a very specific point to reference on the cue ball. It makes you realize how big the cue ball really is and gives an aid in fine tuneing your shot. The other thing that I found beneficial was realizing how low you could hit the cue ball to maximize draw. I didn't realize that the cue ball could be struck so low. With a well shaped and chalked cue tip, you can really make the ball return. I would recommend this product. It won't make a good pool game alone; however, it is a good tool if you are willing to invest the time in practicing.

  1. Balls wax layer is too thin, easy to be scratched. Table brush leaves more dust when you brush the table. Cues' pads are so hard and thin, very slippery when they hit a ball. Spent just a few more dollars and buy descent products. This set is a piece of junk.

  2. I purchased this set when Amazon had it for $75 - The cues alone were well worth that. As the previous review stated, the 2 piece titanium cues are excellent. Great balance and feel. The cast resin balls are also very nice. I like the fact that the color and numbers are cast in the balls, not screened on the balls. If looks are more important, the screened balls have straighter lines and brighter colors, but the cast resin balls are stronger and play great. The rest of the set is adequate. The entire thing makes a perfect better-than-beginner starter set.

  3. I was truly impressed with the quality of the 2 (two piece) cue sticks in the package........very nicely weighted with good balance and grip. Better than average for a starter kit.

2 comments about Minnesota Fats Hustler High Tech Grip Graphite Cue.

  1. bought this as a father days gift for my husband and he absolutely loved it. everything we thought it would be.

  2. Contrary to the product description, the one I've received is 19 oz, and there isn't any easy way to replace the weight bolt. It seems that all MFH2X60 series come in two flavors - 19 or 20 oz. If you really need to specify the weight, you'd better look elsewhere. On the other hand, this is a pretty good beginner cue stick. When the two pieces are put together, the center of mass is about 4.5'' from the top edge of the grip. I'd have given it 4 stars if those "Made in China" labels weren't so hard to remove (in fact, I had to use isopropanol to clean off the adhesive residue along the shaft).

5 comments about Mizerak P0863 Billiard Deluxe Table Cover.

  1. For the money this cover does the job. Only thing I don't care for is the color. It is a turquoise green and it kind of clashes with the green cloth of the table itself. I would have preferred a grey or black cover. It looks a little wrinkled also but smooths out a little with use.

  2. At least it keeps the dust off.

This cover tore on 2 of the corners, the first week of having it. I'm not even sure what caused it.. but it's not like there is much involved in putting the cover off and on. The material is just so thin, it split so easily.

  3. I am very happy with the Mizerak deluxe table cover, especially the elasticized corners which make it fit perfectly on our 8 foot table. The thickness of the plastic is just about what I expected for such a reasonable price.

  4. we are very happy with this item ! great seller, will buy from you again. thanks

  5. Looks good, was well priced, and does its job. You can't ask for more than that.
