- I found that this training aid had two benefits. The first was that it gave you a very specific point to reference on the cue ball. It makes you realize how big the cue ball really is and gives an aid in fine tuneing your shot. The other thing that I found beneficial was realizing how low you could hit the cue ball to maximize draw. I didn't realize that the cue ball could be struck so low. With a well shaped and chalked cue tip, you can really make the ball return. I would recommend this product. It won't make a good pool game alone; however, it is a good tool if you are willing to invest the time in practicing.

- Plays english very well, shows you if your stroke is off and you are accidentally putting side spin on the ball. it has been sent of my table onto concrete floor a few times and it didn't even show any marks

- This product is partially functional if a stop shot is used. Results change with spin, throw, etc. Substantially overpriced piece of stiff paper.
- When I first read about this product, I knew it would be helpful, but I didn't know it would be as impressive as it was.
The use of the product is simple.
1) You place the aim trainer as close as physically possible to (without touching/affecting the position of) the ball you'd like to pocket.
2) Make sure the arrow points the the center of the pocket you'd like to aim for.
That's it. What you get is a visual clue as to where to really aim to make contact (which is half a ball's length behind the centerline of the path towards the pocket you're aiming for). You don't have to worry about leaving the product on the table, as it's made of paper and it is completely flat.
I would get into more detail about the product, but I don't own it anymore. I used it when I first bought it 2 years ago and as soon as I got a sense of where I really needed to be aiming, I gave it away to a friend who needed it.
It's such a simple to use, yet very effective tool to help you learn how to aim your shots properly and I can honestly say that it improved my game greatly.
I would recommend purchasing this product for
a) anyone who is already a decent pool player whose aim could use some improvement, or b) someone you know who is just learning to play.
