1 comments about Eastbay 9" Mesh Short - Men's.

  1. I have a very big teenager who thinks these are the greatest shorts ever. Being very large for his age he wants to look like the other kids in his school, with these shorts he can. They wash nice and are even affordable.

3 comments about Spalding Junior Slam Door-Mount Basketball System.

  1. the backboard & rim was bigger than what I thought it was going to be it was solid and my son loves it?

  2. Pleased with product, purchased for 10 year old who loves it. Mounts easily on top of one of our doors, although if your door frame sticks out (recessed door), the top of the backboard may hit the door frame and the door may not close. This should not be a problem for most "flush" doors. The ball is great and backboard is nice and large so play is great. My main problem was that getting the net inserted through the eye holes was a total pain. i had to redo the net several times before getting it to stay.

  3. Pros: This backboard and rim look great. The colors are bright and the net is of good quality.

Cons: The rim is made of cheap plastic. I have two 4 year old boys who love to play and have their own small leather basketballs. The rim has broken twice in 4 weeks. We tried crazy glue to repair it the first time. After the second break, we trashed it and purchased another one hoping we had just gotten a "bad apple". This rim broke within a week. We will not be purchasing this brand again and would not recommend it unless maybe you are using a nerf ball.

5 comments about Spalding 64-497 Official NBA Zi/O Excel Basketball (Official Size).

  1. Nice ball it come inflated, but looks like anyone check it before sending the item come irregular and not bounce properly.

  2. I've been looking for a basketball for a little while now. I wanted one with a good grip and a nice feel to it. I'd come down to choosing the Zi/O Excel or the TF1000. I ended up going with the Zi/O because it was billed an indoor/outdoor ball, while the TF1000 was just for indoors.

I ordered the ball and got it quickly from Amazon. Right from the start, I loved the ball's feel. The number of pebbles on each panel really help with grip and the deeper chanes between panels really help you with handling and control. I used it on an indoor gym first and it was great. It felt natural and running with it was fun. I thought I'd had a winner on my hands.

The next week I brought it to the park and played outside in a street court. Again it felt great. Playing on the street court gave the ball a different feel, not altogether unpleasant. I was happy again, but a few minutes after getting home I discovered that the panels had started to come loose and were starting to peel. I was very disappointed with that.

I had read reviews about the eventual problems the ball had with outdoor play, but I never thought it'd start to unravel, so to speak, after an hour and a half of outdoor play. Needless to say, I exchanged the ball and got a replacement from Amazon within a few days. I still like the ball, but I'll be saving it for indoor use only now.

Maybe Spalding should not market the Zi/O Excels as indoor/outdoors. It's just unacceptable. I'll probably be looking for an outdoor ball now, too. Preferably something of a similar quality..if anyone has any suggestions, I'd be very appreciative.

  3. this ball, like all other composite balls, will wear out faster if you're only going to use it outdoors(i've had two, and just bought a new one, of which I uploaded pics of). However, if you want a ball that feels great(the zio composite really does feel much different then a regular indoor/outdoor composite), and dribbles more "accurately"(theres no guesswork to where the ball will bounce when dribbling, you dont have to watch it while you dribble like other balls that will sometimes go a few mm to the left or right for no reason, which we all know sometimes causes turnovers), then this is the ball for you. If you play outdoors everyday, for long periods, you'll probably want to go with the cheaper $15-20 composites, as you will wear any composite out much faster outdoors. This ball is more suited for indoor play, with occasional outdoor blacktop usage.

In closing, this ball feels great in the hand(really does have deeper channels and better composite material), and is a more accurate handling ball then others.

  4. To me this is the ultimate basketball. Has real good grip and feels good to. After playing with it for months the ball still has good grip and still feels new. Although paint does come off of basketballs after outside play, this basketball manages to keep most of the paint on it making it look pretty descent. This ball unlike other balls also doesn't wear out as fast either and it still looks pretty good despite being worn out a little bit from outside play(key word: little bit). And just like the review below said everyone wants the TF1000 basketball from spalding but once the ball bust your going to be mad for just wasting 50$ bucks when you can just get the zi/o excel for a cheaper price of 30$ bucks. And if it does bust at least you want have to get as mad. So think about it and try the zi/o excel basketball it may surprise you and be just as good as the TF1000.

  5. if you are planning on buying a ball, these are the tips or the performance of the balls or type of balls out there. one is indoor balls, there are great especially the tf 1000 from spalding. Next is outdoor balls yeah maybe the tf 1000 ppl say its great using indoor and outdoor but just using the ball for outdoors only will bust it quicker so do you wanna spend 50 bucks for a broken ball in a few months for me i wanna get the pefect ball because i have seen the results of a used ball and how they got broken in a long period of playing time and yeah the infusion street is a great ball for this speciefic enviroment so if i were u i would get the nike 1105 or this ball and dont forget the original spalding street it will do the job just fine. The last but not least the indoor outdoor part for me not the best ball but it will do the job just fine the new spalding zio excel ball u could get it for a affordable price and u wont regret it yeah may be thinking oh the tf 1000 may be better because it has a higher price but thats the point if it gets broken u just wasted 50 bucks mah brother and if u bought the zio excel and it gets broken u just wasted 30 dollars so its cheaper to get but if u want the performance i think u should get tf 1000 ( dont blame if you disagree i got this idea from the shoppers i met during my search for my "perfect ball") but for me i think the tf 1000 is only good as a indoor ball because it i think has the quality of a indoor ball and will last longer if only used indoors. I hoped my tips and comments about the basketballs may have helped you somehow on choosing your perfect ball. THANKS

1 comments about Lifetime 71524 XL Base Height-Adjustable Portable Basketball System with Clear 54-Inch Shatter Guard Backboard.

  1. I took my time researching a B-ball system, checking with the neighbors to see what they had, online reviews and the sort all the time vigilant for a sale. Fortunately when this system dropped in price I had at least decided on a Lifetime system. The big seller for us is the adjustable technology used. It's a squeeze trigger that allows the backboard to glide up or down. It does take some time to put together but it's easy to do if you follow the instructions. You'll have many hours of enjoyment.

3 comments about Under Armour Men Heatgear UA Tech Sleeveless T-Shirt 1000381.

  1. Started buying UnderArmour before it was trendy, always satisfied with their products. Wicks really well, wears great.

  2. I've owned this shirt for about 2 years and, although it's now beginning to show signs of wear, I've put it through it's paces. I even trained for and ran a marathon in it. It's a relatively thin, soft shirt that wicks very effectively. Many shirts in this category tend to use what feels like harsher, less cotton-like materials or construction. I wouldn't put this with the top elite (and high priced) training wear, this Underarmour T feels natural and light and is reasonably priced.

  3. I feel good in it and its great that its like a sponge...it takes all the sweat.

2 comments about Spalding TF-1000 ZK Pro Basketball - Official Size.

  1. This is a great basketball. Takes a little while to break in, but I love it!

  2. I was introduced to the TF-1000 when my daughter first began playing for a competitive AAU team. I have found it not only to be a step above the rest, but the best indoor ball period.

It has an excellent feel and touch for shooting, passing, and dribbling. It retains air and holds its shape very well. And after more than two years of use it still seems new -- plenty of life remaining.

All balls are different, but because this one is often used as a competitive game ball at tournaments, it's important for a player to practice with the same equipment with which they will be competing. As the saying goes, "Practice how you play because you play like you practice."

Finally, if this ball is ever lost it will be easy to replace for the simple reason that it is such a standard in the women's game today. Please be aware that this is an indoor ball for use in gyms, not outdoors on asphalt or concrete.

The TF-1000 is an NFHS approved basketball for high schools and often used as a game ball. As such it may be considered a must-have piece of equipment for the competitive player.

(Note: If you shop around on Amazon you may find this ball offered at a lower price from another merchant.)

    Play hard, have fun.
