3 comments about GOGO Thick Solid Color Head Band(Price/each), Headband, Sweatband.

  1. The delivery was as fast as could be expected and the headbands are thick and have good elasticity -- they're all one could want in a headband.

  2. Quick shipping. Item was on backorder and they sent an upgrade. Great customer service.

  3. I ordered it on Dec. 6 and already received it. Compared with the similar ones in local malls, the quality is high and price is low, even with the shipping cost. I sure will buy stuff from the company again.

5 comments about Thick Solid Color Wrist Band(Price/each), Wristband, Sweatband.

  1. It's made with better quality than I expected. I'm happy with what I got for the price

  2. I ordered from these folks directly, ordering the "extra thick" 100% cotton bands instead of the blend, and was sent the blend ones instead, even though the packing sheet that came with the items clearly indicated the item number for the "extra thick" bands. All attempts to contact their Customer Service have been unsuccessful, so I'm stuck with the blend bands (which are decent, especially for the price as compared with the stuff sold in your typical department or sporting goods store). You're welcome to take your chances, but I'm planning to look elsewhere in the future.

  3. I am placing my second order with this company for additional sweatbands. The quality of the sweatbands is very good and they are thick and absorbant and comfortable to wear. Like the first reviewer, I was expecting to receive 2 wrist bands per pack instead of having to purchase each individually (luckily I had purchase 4 initially and had two pairs.) Overall I am very happy since they are cheaper than most places and shipping was fast.

  4. I ordered this item, thinking it was a pair. When I received it and realized my error, I ordered another of the exact same item. When I got it, I found that it was half an inch wider than the first, a different shade of color, and the pile seemed thinner and flattened.

Now I'm ordering a pair from a different company. Hopefully the higher price indicates better quality.

  5. Delivery date was july 26 to july 31, didn`t get them till Aug 4.needed them aug 1 .thanks for prompt service......NOT

5 comments about Under Armour Tech Tee Mens.

  1. I love these shirts. I wear them under my uniform and they do help keep you cooler.

  2. I bought the large and was very disappointed with the fit. Very baggy- wears like a regular tshirt so it isn't worth the price at all.

  3. My boys loved the under armour shirts. They were a reward for good behavior at school. It was very convenient for them to be delivered to my door.

  4. I am a huge fan of Under Armour's workout apparel, and in addition to owning several of these Tech T-shirts, also own several each of the Loose Gear shirts (0084) and the Heat Gear compression shirts (0039) - I've written reviews on those as well.

The Tech T-shirt (0382) feels really good on your skin - like your favorite, most comfortable old cotton t-shirt. It looks just like cotton and has a matte finish - it's not shiny/silky like the Loose Gear shirts or Heat Gear compression shirts. It is very soft, comfortable and lightweight, and I love this shirt both for working out and casual wear. The shirt runs true to size (buy your regular T-shirt size and it will fit really well), and is the roomiest cut of the Under Armour shirts. I absolutely LOVE the raglan sleeves on the tech tee - one of the features that makes them so comfortable and gives them a little bit of a unique look.

The tech tee has a small amount of a lycra-like fabric in with the polyester microfiber, which gives it quite a bit of stretch. I like this because the shirt doesn't bind if you're doing something that really requires you to reach or stretch - certain weight exercises, aerobics, yoga, etc. The shirt works the way it's supposed to, and wicks moisture from your skin for rapid evaporation.

The tech tee is available in numerous colors (I have 6 of them) and in spite of the fact that the fabric is thin and very lightweight, the shirts are very opaque. The shirts have a nice cut and look great over jeans or shorts - in addition to the gym, I often wear them out and around, or when working in the yard. They are super comfortable worn as an undershirt too, but are probably a little costly for that. Like all the Under Armour shirts, they have a self-material neck band, but it fits just right and stays in place, even if you get sweaty - it doesn't sag like the cotton ones.

While I have zero complaints about the tech tee, be aware that it is Under Armour's "budget" product, if there is such a thing. The material does start to pill after a few washings - this affects appearance slightly, but not performance or fit. Although I haven't worn out ANY of my Under Armour shirts yet, I'm going to venture that the tech t-shirt won't be quite as durable as their signature Loose Gear shirts and Heat Gear compression shirts, nor does it perform quite as well. On the other hand it, it's about 20% cheaper, so as with anything else, you get what you pay for.

When stacked up against UA's other shirts, I'd say the tech tee is for you if:

    1) You like the look and feel of a soft, cotton t-shirt but want the wicking and performance of a microfiber shirt.

    2) You don't care for the shiny, silky, more synthetic look and feel of the Loose Gear shirts, or the tightness of the Heatgear compression shirt.

    3) You want a shirt that's a little roomier.

    4) You want a shirt with stretch in it.

    5) You want to save a little $$ but still wear an authentic UA logo shirt.

  5. it is great for sports that require high endurance like running and racquetball. It makes a lot of difference as it absorbs sweat and dissipates it a lot better than other t-shirts

  1. This product is great for baseball and not for softball. Would be better to buy a bigger glove if you're going to play softball, it's not too expensive and if you're an amateur player like me, this glove will be great.

  2. This glove is great for casual softball games at the park with friends and family. It is a good value for the cost. If you are playing in a rec league or more cometative league, get a higher quality glove. Also, if you have large hands/long fingers, you may want to get a different glove. I have very long fingers and the glove is a tad small for me.
Overall, great glove for the price for low-key softball playing and playing catch.

  3. This is not one of those plastic gloves that will never break in. As soon as I pulled it out of the box it had movement and flexibility. I put a little oil in the palm and it's perfect. Deep pocket and padded palm makes it great for outfield play. Like I said, not one of those plastic gloves. I am happy with my purchase.

  4. I recently moved to a new area and church. After playing many years of baseball, I was thrilled that this church has a softball league. Having one child and another on the way, money is tight, but I needed a softball glove. I did some shopping and came back to this glove on Amazon. I rec'd the day of our first game and it has performed well since. Great price and great performance.

  5. The pictures were a bit misleading, and did not show the inside of the mitt, where it had "softball", in big letters, printed. This was not a baseball glove, it was clearly meant to be a softball glove. Glove was brand new though, and was shipped promptly. Should have done more research myself, but this was misleading.

5 comments about Wiffle 9 inch Baseballs in Counter-top Display - One Dozen.

  1. I have had the same Wiffle ball for the past nine years. But, I only have one. In the past I have bought other plastic baseballs to only have them crack or fall apart after the third hit. The only plastic baseball to last has been my Wiffle ball. I was so excited to find a dozen balls. My two sons and I will have many years of baseball fun ahead of us!

  2. Wiffleball = life; this is the perfect purchase for true enthusiasts that have a knack for hitting too many balls on roofs.

  3. I was looking for a dozen Wiffle balls and found exactly what I needed. I was hoping to find a set not individually wrapped, but this is what was available.

  4. Great
Can not find wiffle ball brand in my area. Was great to find them at amazon

  5. .....that's the day that the first WIFFLE BALLS (invented a year earlier) went on sale in this baseball-crazy country. Mr. David Mullany created the first Wiffle Ball in Fairfield, Connecticut after seeing his 12-year-old son struggling to throw a curveball. Mr. Mullany (to whom we bow down and show obeisance) cut eight oblong slots into plastic orbs that were used to package cosmetics and the Wiffle Ball, an American institution, was born.

Oh, Wiffle Ball, Wiffle Ball, it nearly compels me to wax poetic. I'm now 46 years old, but the love that I have for the game of Wiffle Ball will possess my heart long after my body has any capability to throw a breaking pitch! My Brother and I were born to a beautiful, baseball-loving woman. Shirley grew up following the Cincinnati Reds, and as a child, she acquired a nickname based on a long-forgotten Big League pitcher. As an adult, she worked for the Los Angeles dOdGers and the Los Angeles Angels (that was before they became the California Angels, and then the Anaheim Angels, and then the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and then the Chicago White Sox victims). She instilled in her two boys and one daughter a love for America's pastime. (In fact, my sister was the first girl we ever heard of to play on a boys Little League team.)

But when we weren't on a baseball diamond with 7 other guys, and when we couldn't scrounge up two other guys to play a game of "Over-The-Line" at the park, my Brother, Doug, and I were battling it out in a game of Wiffle Ball in the yard. We had some outrageously competitive games in our "Glory Days." We perfected the art of pitching a Wiffle Ball, and baffled many a batter who tried to hit us. I remember 1990 and a young, athletic college student who, claiming to have played Wiffle Ball throughout his childhood, challenged this old geezer on the UCLA field behind the John Wooden Center. Well, my screwball was only breaking about 10 feet that day, and after taking it for strike three about a dozen times, he just shook his head, and I concluded that whatever game he was playing as a child, it WASN'T what my Brother and I called, "WIFFLE BALL."

If you have never owned a Wiffle Ball, you've never really been alive, my dear friend! Although they do tend to crack between the oblong cutouts after some time (especially if you hang too many curveballs for my Brother who swings with great authority), they will last for countless hours of baseballesque bliss and excellent exercise! They can be used anywhere outdoors because the Wiffle Ball weighs only two-thirds of an ounce, and if Doug never knocked one through a window, neither will you!

And although the Wiffle Ball is light, it does not follow that it should be taken lightly. After San Francisco Giant (man, do I hate the Giants!), Kevin Mitchell won the 1989 National League MVP award, he publicly stated that he had really learned to hit the curveball by playing a lot of Wiffle Ball the previous off-season. One of the greatest hitters of all-time, San Diego Padre, Tony Gwynn used to hit Wiffle Balls off of a batting tee because he could tell from the spin where he had struck the ball. Play with a Wiffle Ball and you're in Big League company!

The Wiffle Balls offered here are the regulation 9 inch variety. (And SURPRISE! They're still made in the U.S.A. The day production moves to Communist China I'll jump.) Twelve Wiffle Balls are currently going for $14.95, that's only $1.25 per ball. Do you have any idea how much fun you can have with a Wiffle Ball? Well, take my word for it, you'll get more than a dollar and twenty-five cents worth!

Now all you need to do is get the regulation, Old School, plastic yellow ("banana") bat. Of course, if you really want to splurge you can purchase the newly invented aluminum Wiffle Ball bat. Funny story : My dear ol' Ma bought an aluminum Wiffle Ball bat as a gift for my Brother on his birthday. But she wasn't sure what size to get, so she called the company. "How old is your son?" the representative asked. When she said, "41", he laughed loud and said, "I think you'll want to go with the heaviest model."

One of the great disappointments in my life (SERIOUSLY!) is that they didn't think to organize Wiffle Ball competitions until Doug and I were in our 40's. We scouted out the competition at the "Wiffle Ball World Series" here in Phoenix a few years ago. (Players fly in from all over the country!) We figured that even at our advanced age and with my arthritis, we could still give those young studs all they bargained for and more, if we polished our long-neglected technique over the next year. Alas, it never happened, what with work, and life, and all the other crap that gets in the way of Wiffle Ball play.

But that doesn't mean YOU can't fly into Phoenix next year and win the title! Get to it, man! Get yourself a dozen Wiffle Balls, a "banana" bat and start practicing. Hint : the ball breaks in the direction of the solid half. Want to throw a drop? Make sure the solid section is on the bottom at your release point. Then get inventive; there are innumerable variations on that theme! You can thank me for the hint when you see me. You'll recognize me because I'm always the guy who picks up the suitcase that comes around on the airport luggage carrousel with a plastic yellow bat strapped across the top of it!

5 comments about Spalding 15175 Multi-Sport Return Throw System.

  1. I bought this pitch back for my daughter so she could practic her pitching. It has served it's purpose well. It should stand the test of time from what I can tell. Although the target they give you with it is cheap and tears almost emmediately it is still pretty good and I would recommend to anyone not wanting to spend to much.

  2. This is a very good product, but there were not enough of the bungee cords with it. It has held up very well, so far, and my grandson (7) enjoys it almost every day. It has helped him improve his throwing, and catching skills. I would recomend this, but make sure of all the parts!!!

  3. I haven't used one of these ball returns since I was a kid, but I wanted my 7-year-old son to have an opportunity to practice like I use to. I was hesitant about ordering this, because surely it couldn't be as good as the one I use to have. Boy, was I wrong. This is a great ball return and is quite sturdy. Be prepared for the dreaded "some assembly required." The directions are far from good, and I eventually resorted to using the picture on the box for reference. But after it was assembled, it became fun to use and we look forward to many practice days ahead. I would highly recommend this.

  4. I purchased this for my grandson who is 5-1/2 and loves playing T-ball. It has helped him learn to be ready when the ball comes back to him to catch and he can play by himself without having someone else throw the ball to him. It is very sturdy and easily assembled.

  5. This product is exactly what I expected. My 8 year old son loves using it. It is definitely sturdy enough for a kid his age to use for praticing baseball. It gives him a target to aim throwing at and he also enjoys catching (or trying to catch) the return. As a result he has shown a greater interest in baseball.

5 comments about Bushnell Velocity Speed Gun.

  1. I ordered this radar gun for a few different reasons. 1) For the price it's a great deal. 2) I had used a friend's a few years back so I was already familiar with Bushnell products and knew first hand what it could do...it works as advertised. Unit is very consistent and accurate. And finally, 3) My son plays travel baseball and little league baseball so using it for checking out opposing team's pitcher's is a plus. It's just an all around good investment. The only downside is the cheap carry bag, so my wife made me a heavier denim bag.

  2. Great product, GREAT price (better then any local Sports Store). Gun works well, kids can use it and LOVE it.

  3. I bought this Speed Gun several weeks ago and have been pleased with it's ease of use and durability. The gun is simple to use, just turn it on, hold the trigger and you get your readings. I have dropped the gun a couple of times and the durable construction saved the gun. The only issue is that it appears the readings are a couple of miles per hour low, however, the readings are consistent so making the speed adjustment is easy. I have been using the gun to gauge the speed of my 9-year olds pitches and it has worked fine.

  4. Had seen this product in use so bought one for little league use. It works pretty good if you have the right angle. Best used from a scorekeeper's box with angle directly behind catcher shooting out toward pitcher. Or just to the left or right of catcher. If your angle of shooting is more than this it will not read correctly. This product will help players work on their pitching form by giving them feedback as to what changes are producing speed.

  5. I broke out the radar gun to check out my son's pitching speed. Out of 20 tries, I got one reading that was even close to accurate. He was recently clocked at 80 mph on a reliable Juggs gun, but the best I could get from this product was one reading of 73 mph. Now, even if he did throw it 73, why was I getting readings anywhere from 11 to 23 mph on the other 19? Operator error? Sure, but why isit so difficult to get the reading? It was a breeze on the Juggs gun.

In sum, highly inaccurate, difficult to get readings consistently (ANY kind of readings!), and a major disappointment.

5 comments about Mizuno Vintage Pro Batting Glove G2.

  1. My wife and I have each had two previous iterations of Mizunno Batting Gloves (most recently the original Techfire). Tried this glove when our old ones wore out, mainly because we hadn't found any batting gloves we liked in local stores, it was reasonably priced, and available for prime shipping. It is an alright glove but seems more cheaply made than our previous ones. Neither of us liked it enough so we went ahead and ordered the newer version of the Techfire despite the extra cost.

  2. Not a bad glove for the price. If you are just looking for something to use recreationally (ie: occasional trips to the batting cages or if you play once or twice a week), then this is a good glove.

  3. I waited with major anticipation for these gloves to show up. I got the XXL size since one reviewer had said they ran smallish. Okay, they arrived. Took them out, put them on. Loved the overall feel and comfort and cosmetic appeal (its important for all wearing apparel to look good, yes? Smile, yes.) I bought them to replace my very worn Nike's. But, and I really hate to say this, here's the thing. The stitching down between the fingers is incomplete. Between most all the fingers. At first I thought maybe they were made that way, or maybe I just hoped so. But I don't think they are. The failure to fully stitch the leather between the fingers is bothersome, but for my purposes wasn't enough for me to go to the trouble to send them back. I probably should, and most would, and in all honesty, I thought Mizuno had higher quality control standards. Other than that.....smile, yeah, other than that, they are quite nice.

  4. This is denetly a must have.... very comfortable, cool looking and resistant, GREAT PRODUCT ALL AROUND.

  5. We have been looking for a good pair of batting gloves that will last more than a week and keep my son from getting blisters. This is the glove. It protects the heels of his hands better than anything else we've tried.
