- I think this is a great set for novice badminton players. It's easy to set up, even for the "mechanically challenged". The only thing you're going to want to do eventually, is get sturdier shuttlecocks. These won't stand up to the limitless power of 7 and 4 year old boys for very long!
- After reading the good reviews I purchased this set, thinking I might actaully get a decent set for a cheap price... WRONG. I got a junk set for a cheap price. One of the metal poles bent while I was setting up the net, under the slight pressure of tightening the guide-wires. This was quite upsetting, but I managed to at least get the net up with the help of some duct tape. After maybe an hour of use by a group of 10 year old girls, the net collapsed for the third and final time, and nobody had the patience to engage in the balancing act of setting it up again, so we just threw the thing away. One star for the cheap price and one star because the rackets and shuttle-cocks werr fine. Pay a few bucks more and get something that you can use more than once.
- After reading the reviews on this item I decided it was a good deal. It did arrive quickly. I thought metal poles would be better than PVC as what I had read on PVC poles indicated they were not very good. When we set up the net one of the metal poles folded over on itself. The poles have to be tied down pretty well/tight to keep it up-right, and also to keep the net from sagging. I ended up putting duct tape around the joints to make it steadier. I contacted the company via Email a couple weeks ago about the pole, but have not had a response back. Although, we have had a lot of fun playing, I can't say that I would buy this again.
- I cant really complain about the product. It's a very good deal and it doesn't have any defects. The rackets are ok for recreational badminton. I suggest buying new shuttlecocks if you're playing regularly. They don't last very long. Other than that, Im 100% satisfied with the product.
- It may not be the best in terms of quality but it works out well if you keep the cost in mind. I couldnt have got a better product in this price.

- The grip on the racquet I bought was way too slippery (I almost dropped it a few times), so I bought this. It was fairly easy to apply and it is very soft and squishy (and grippy). The problem with it, though, is that it is pretty thick, so after application your grip is much bigger. It also takes out some of the feel and vibrations. So far I haven't even come close to dropping my racquet.

- I was looking to replace an old badminton set and finally decided on this one. Well, the first game out of the box, the head came loose on one of the rackets, rendering it useless. I can probably glue it, but that's not the point. Then the birdie got stuck in two of the other rackets, when you hit it very hard. What a waste of money! This isn't a cheap, $25 buck set, so I definitely expected more! I'm not sure what to do next, but I think I'll buy rackets separately and not go for the set. Who needs multiple nets just to get some rackets that aren't junk?
- Only a few minutes out of the box the strings on a racket broke during routine play. This is a poorly designed product.
- After reviewing this Item, I thought it is of good quality. But the badminton racquets are not that good quality as we expected and most important thing is we realized that there was an item missing when we try to setup the net. Amazon needs to take care while shipping any items and customer service is also not that satisfactory. When I called them for sending the missing part, they said I need to buy on my own and they will refund it....where should I go for it??? I have ordered this online bacause I don't have any shop closeby...
Amazon needs to improve their quality of service....
- The net is of good quality, especially for the price. However, one birdie was missing as well as the hooks to hold the support cords. When I contacted Amazon, they were of no help, but to say contact the manufacturer. Very poor support from Amazon.
- This set is very high-quality, and at a very reasonable price. It can be set up in five minutes or less, once you get the hang of it (the instructions are a little vague). The set comes with plenty of accessories and a very nice carrying bag that fits everything, with room to spare. It's perfect for group and one-on-one play. I would recommend it to anyone who loves outdoor sports!

- I was a little cautious to purches these shuttlecocks because of the cost.
I was buying the typical red and white shuttlecoks and I was continuously replacing them. I have had these mavis 300 for 6 months and I have NO complaints.
side note
I play 3 times a week for 45 minutes.

- Yonex Mavis 350 shuttlecocks are only $8.50 per half dozen at most other onlilne stores, $12 price is very expensive. Also with the $9.90 S&H is way too expensive.
In most cases I buy 12 tubes at $8 (discount rate) from one of the other online store and they ship it free.
My advice to anyone who needs shuttlecock is to search (Google) for the cheapest price.
- The Yonex Mavis 350 list price is $9 per 1/2 dozen and Amazon is selling $13. I bought it a week ago and really feeling very bad about it. I thought Amazon is always giving us good price but not this time.
The quality of 350 is good but I cannot convince the others I am playing with to change from feather to plastic. It is a little too fast for them. But I like it and I bought the yellow ones so it is much easier to see under the white light and white background. The real plus side is that it is really durable. Feather cannot even last 1/2 a game.
- This item arrived quickly, and as described. I was pleased with the quality of this product. So far, this product has done well with the matches we have played. We have some aggresive players, so I believe these shuttlecocks will last a long time.
- The Mavis 350 yellow has proved to be a very good product. It is the first plastic shuttle cock I have ever used that lasted more than 2 games without falling apart - in fact I am still using the first one out of the can. 15+ matches and not a crack, split or break.
