3 comments about Arrows Aluminum for 80 Lb. Crossbow 12 Pack.
- Maybe I should be more charitable than 3 stars for el cheapo bolts, for el cheapo crossbow pistols. These little crossbow pistols are a lot of fun for the money, but the two styles of bolts available for them aren't very durable.
THE CONS: The fins (the black part in the photos) on these "aluminum" bolts are a very cheap, brittle plastic that break off easily.
THE PROS: The aluminum shaft version is about half again the weight of the plastic shaft version, with the weight balanced toward the front of the dart. They fly straight and group well at up to about 50 feet. By comparison, the all plastic with metal points (which also break easily) are all over the place and don't group at all. Don't waste your money on the plastic ones. The aluminum shaft version, at least, is fun to shoot - just figure on buying lots of them to allow for a lot of broken fins.
- Item exactly as described. Quality item received promptly. Would definitely purchase from this vendor again.
- The product is acceptable, the delivery was a bit prolonged and status was not well updated. Was sent by US postal service that could not recognize the tracking number. But they finally arrived.

- Good buy for the price. The fiberglass practice arrows shattered too easily, these are better.

2 comments about 7" Deluxe Archery Armguard (EA).
- The arm guard is nicely sewn with leath top and a soft underside for your arm. It does come off as slightly thin, but good for most forearms.
- I used this when I took archery in school. It's pretty good. Not only can you use it to protect your arm, but it can also be used to prevent any loose sleeved shirts from getting in the way. It may be small, but it's pretty much all you need. Not only do I recommend it, I insist that you buy it if you are into archery. The bow string can do alot of damage to an unprotected arm.

1 comments about 12-pk. of Aluminum Pistol Bolts.
- This 12-pack is a great deal for the price. However, I was hoping that the bolts would come with threaded or screwed-on heads instead of glued-on heads. The threaded version holds up much better for longer use. Unfortunately this version of the pistol bolts came with glued-on heads.

5 comments about 80-lb. Pistol Crossbow.
- The product may or not be good. I attempted to purchase two of them from The Sportsman's Guide only to find out that it cannot be shipped to my zip code legally. Honestly I wish they had given some sort of warning of linked to a site that let me figure out if I could or not get it. Because of this weeks later I have money still pending in my bank account am still receiving mail telling me the same thing about how it can't be shipped.
- I purchased this gun and had nothing but trouble with it. the bow would not stay in place and when I tried to tighten it up the stupid thing broke. You need two people to string it and it has to be assembled. Before it broke, I did get the chance to fire it once, but it didn't even shoot the arrow across the length of my living room. save your money and buy a real bow.
- The crossbow came on time as described. It was a pain to put the string on, and the string started breaking since it was put on, so you might need an extra string for it. I got a way to put on the string: assemble the foot piece and the bow arm first, then step on the foot piece and pull the bow arm toward you with two hands.Have a friend put on the string on for you. It's easier than the way the manufacturer provided with the cross bow.
The sights on the crossbow are made of cheap plastic, so get yourself a decent one.
- All the above mentioned rewiews are correct. In my case the string started to fray from the beginning and about after 30 or 40 shots it ripped now I try to replace it with some stronger material and if I succeed it was worth for $20 because its lots of fun.
- It's a simple design, maybe too simple. The frame is cast metal, which causes it to have some sharp edges that caused the string to fray. It has been fired about 150-200 times and is still going (not by much). The sights are wrong so the same day it arrived we modified it to work a bit better. It can kill small animals at close range if that's needed. All in all it's great for $20-30 and it's really fun to use.

4 comments about Bear 1st Shot Bow Set.
- My 12 year old adores this set. However, he can shot it hard enough to put the "safety" arrows through the amazon box that the bow arrived in. Or it will travel over 50 feet if he is not aiming at a target. This is NOT A TOY. You could easily put out an eye with it. Under adult supervision it is a great deal of fun, but do not hand it to your kid and send them into the backyard alone.
It only comes with 2 arrows. Our local sport store had more, but at 4 bucks a piece.
- Our daughter loves this little set. It is great for fun in the back yard.
- Got this for my 8 year old son's birthday. He had begun archery class with the Cub Scouts and wanted something to practice with at home. This works perfectly, the draw weight and length are just right making it easy for him to practice good form.
If you're looking for a "toy" with safety arrows, then this isn't for you. But if you are wanting a nice little starter set for "real" ...then this is really nice.
- Bought this for our 5 year-old grandson so he can shoot targets with grandpa...works great...not too much for him. Recommended for very young childen.

3 comments about Cold Steel Big Bore Proffesional Blowgun & Darts.
- I've been a .625 blowgun user since they were made with seamed steel tubing. The current aluminum tubing blowguns are superior. The darn things are addictive, and surprisingly accurate and powerful. I've never used one to kill any creature larger than a scorpion as far as I know. I've especially taken a liking to the stun darts. They will raise a fairly large welt on human skin with only a half breath(don't ask). I used one to knock a bird out of a tree on a dare from well over 50 feet away. Do not use the stun darts on anything that you don't want a dent in. We have high vaulted ceilings and occasionally a scorpion used to get into the house. I used a stun dart to knock one down, but left a dent that my wife didn't appreciate. Very quiet, the impact can be louder than the shot. Very good for chasing cats and dogs from the garden. It won't kill them, and leaves an impression that they don't want repeated.
- I purchased this item for my husband as a christmas present from my dad. Needless to say. My husband was very excited. He absolutely loved his gifts this year. Thanks for you excellent product and very prompt shipping.
- Inexpensive fun. I'm not a blowgun professional (this is the first time I've ever used a blowgun), but this is extremely easy to start using and get good enough at to enjoy quickly. Get two tubes and play darts with someone at 10m. Watch out for the pets, they like seem to like the movement and the noise and if they get in the way, well, you wouldn't want to hurt them. And trust me, the way the darts sink into a 1/2 inch board, you know flesh would fair much worse.
These aren't toys, but they are a great deal of fun.

- This bow is pretty good for beginners it's kinda small but shoots pretty good my only problem was that the a part where the wheel is broke but after i glued it back it worked good i would recommend this
- This is a great youth bow that even our teenagers enjoy. We easily would have given it 5 stars, however we had a problem in that the arrow "holder" broke off and we had to pull a spring-type from an old bow and improvise. Other than that a great bow for young archers.
- I purchased this for my 9 yr old son. This is a great beginner bow, very sturdy and well made; I was shocked at how reasonable the price was. My son and his friends play with it every day; they love it. I highly recomend this product to any one.
