  1. this gun is very cool looking, shoots fast, but is very unacurate and unreliable. 1/5 BBs will end up where you aim them, the rest drop off and to the side at an extreme rate, its a good price for a cheap gun.

  1. This little thing is one of the most fun airsoft guns I've ever shot. The build is great and feels pretty solid but, remember, it's a Mac 11 (not a Mac 10) so it's going to feel tiny even in average size hands.

The one I bought had an upgraded magnesium bolt to make it last longer. It's true that it will empty a clip in less than 3 seconds so if you're going to get it, get some spare mags - you're going to need them.

The accuracy is good to about 20 feet. After that, the BBS look pretty much like buck shot from a sawed off shotgun might - exactly what one needs in CQB. The hop-up is pretty sensitive but once you get it adjusted you can get acceptable range from it.

The stock is pretty much useless but does add a little "coolness" and a little extra weight to the whole package.

  2. OK, this is by far my favorite pistol. Don't buy one unless you're ready to shell out for many more magazines. You'll want to use thing as your primary during CQB games even though the magazine empty's in just over 2 seconds.

  3. KWA did a good job on this little guy. It's solidly constructed mostly of a dense plastic, and has a nice weight to it. The magnesium bolt is a nice touch, and has functional value as this little pistol sized SMG has a cyclical rate of fire of 20 rounds per SECOND. I had no problems with jamming or other mechanical issues. Make sure to use high quality .2g 6mm BBs. If you are a muzzle velocity checker, this gun is rated at around 310 fps with .2g BBs. Don't buy this gun if you expect to be able to shoot a one-inch pattern at 100 feet. The BBs all go their merry ways -but quickly and in large groups. After all the barrel is very short.

The 39 round magazine is all metal, and relatively heavy. I have used green gas and propane (but not around open flames or in a confined area) with good results. The pistol can fire in either semi or full automatic modes, with an easy to reach selector switch letting you decide on the fly which mode to use. Full auto firing is impessive - the sound is just right. When skirmishing, just let off 20 rounds (a one-second burst), and the "bad guys" will all hit the dirt - no matter which direction you are firing in! (Don't forget to wear EYE PROTECTION when monkeying with this gun). There is a safety switch on the gun, but it's right next to the trigger, so look at the switch when you are moving it. Otherwise you could press the trigger instead. This gun is smaller than you might expect, and it's easy to point it at yourself when you are handling it - so pay attention to what you are doing!

I bought a cheap plastic mock silencer, which screws onto the threaded barrel of the gun with no problems, and provides a forward hand grip making it much easier to point and shoot. Plus it looks even more dangerous with the "silencer" (which doesn't silence the sound when firing - thank goodness). I also like to think the extended barrel length provided by the silencer improves accuracy somewhat (not that it matters much).

I can recommend this KWC version of the MAC11 for modestly experienced AirSoft users, and those wanting to try a gas gun.

  4. Bought mine in the UK so no red tip to the barrel but otherwise identical

This is an awesome gun. Looks completely realistic with accurate trades.

I feels very realistic and although some of the body is plastic it doesn't look it or feel it.

Fires semi or full auto though the guy in the shop said don't use auto all the time as it will wear out. Also pretty expensive in terms of pellets as it will empty a full magazine in just over two seconds.

One tip, always cock the gun before loading the magazine. Apparently there is some internal bit which can get damaged if you dont.

Second tip. load the magazine carefully to avoid misfires
