  1. This gun is great. Shoots fast and hard. I play just in backyards and parks and areas like that and this gun is perfect and comparable to 300 dollars guns. No joke. But here's what I think you need to get.
    1. Either the 5000 bb drum (which is absolutely fantastic. No reloading. The bbs swish around but i just put some padding in.) or at least a hi-cap magazine. It doesn't come with it. The mag you get with it holds like 60.
    2. A bigger battery. Not a small one. Get a large battery that is 8.4v.
    3. bipod. It goes so well with the drum
    4. reflex sights. not the $7 red dot but like the $25 ones. They are very accurate.
    5. A necessity: 0.2 g bbs. A must. 0.12 bbs fly accurately for about 40 ft but the 0.2 g bbs are accurate for about 150-200 ft.

  2. The pictures on this site, and judging from some reviews/discussions, this page is for a Well R6. But when I ordered my rifle from HIT, I got a Well R7. HIT sells the R7 rifle for 80 dollars elsewhere on the site. I'm not sure why they're doing this. Looking at discussions, this same page used to sell the Well R6, then HIT sold the Well R6E, and now (from my experience) they're shipping R7s. Not a bad friggin' deal. I have no idea what Airsplat would ship however (I'd go with HIT, just in case).

The gearbox is metal while most of the gun is plastic. The gun comes with a pack of 500, or maybe a little less, .12G BBs. Do yourself a favor, buy a large pack of .20G BBs along with this gun. The .20G BBs are recommended and they shoot A LOT more accurately and pack more of a punch. The gun also comes with a flash light, a front grip, and a laser sight.

Anyway, I'm really enjoying this gun. I just wish I would've bought another battery for in between charges.

  3. anyways i ordered a standard well m4 and hit sent me an r7 which i was very happy about considering they saved me 20 bucks and this is a powerful gun it does not however shoot through pop cans it can shatter glass bottles though
the thing that sucks is that i have to wind it up after every 60 rounds or so otherwise im very happy with my purchase

  4. Ok First of all let me talk about airsplat. I think based on my experience with them, that they are awesome and out of HIT and Airsplat, you should definitley go with airsplat. First of all I bought my equipment from them on sunday June 10th, and estimated arrival was June 19th, but it came on wednesday the 13th. The only problem was that one of my bags of bbs busted open so 1/2 of the bbs was everywhere when I opened the box. Other than that though, I really think they're fast and easy to work with.

    Second!!
The gun was amazing. It came in in an excellent condition and the gun weighed about 8 pounds. .It took me about 20 minutes to hook up the RIS foregrip and the scope thingy, including the flashlight. I definitley love the flashlight. It lit the room well at night, and the feel was amazing. At first my bbs wouldn't shoot unless I turned the gun upside down. The thing is that I didn't wind the magazine which is necessary because it's a hi-cap magazine. Afterward though It shot great!! I was playing with my brother who had a DE M47 Shotgun Type B, and my Red Eye Scope has great accuracy once you know how to work it, I aimed right at his scope and broke through the plastic eye glass thing. It shoots great but it is noisy. I really recommend it trust me. I would certainly upgrade it and buy accessories for it now that I know it is well built and long lasting, folks, just remember to take care of it. P.S. don't shoot CDs LOL, makes a huge mess, one shot busted it in half, AMAZING!!

I give it 5 Stars because it is awesome, better than I thought, and at an affordable price!!

  5. this gun can rip threw anything i set up 8 cans in a row shot threw all of them easily if u want a good gun for an advaced player get this better than any brand tippman crosman tokyo mariu by it nowwwww it shoots 380 fps with 12.g bb

  1. Okay the people that got this gun are spammers and cant read it says it has no scope in the discription I have the scoped version and I works great.

  2. i dont actually own this gun but a friend of mine bought it and unlike the picture it does not come with a scope or even iron sights just some crappy rail that is useless unless you buy a good scope. then about two months after they got it the bolt jammed and it would not even cock and they have still been unabled to fix to this day. This problem probably wouldn't happen to you(the buyer), but from personnal experience with the gun i would not buy it for myself

  1. It is a bit more compact than I expected, but it's still cool and not a big deal, especially compared to all the cool features it has. Laser sight is really cool! Easily removable, turns on and off when you want. It has weight to it, which is really cool. Slide moves back when fired, and locks back after the last shot, mush like a real semi-auto pistol. There is even a slide lock that works! One other small complaint is that the magazine is one of those real skinny ones that goes in under the front half of the inside of the handle. This is fine if you are used to that, but having the whole clip come out like a real gun with the CO2 inside the clip is I think a lot cooler.

All in all, worth it if you are into cool realistic BB guns that work well and are very durable.

  2. RELIABLE, GOOD SHOOTING, 90+ SHOTS WITH ONE 12 gm Co2 cartridge. Nice gun for a low price..

  3. This airgun is very well made, and the form and function are flawless.

The main selling point for me was that I was looking for a tool to introduce my boys to sport shooting. The nature of this airgun is that it resembles the function of a real handgun extremely closely; from the mag release to the recoil of the slide, and the slide release lever, etc.

It's an excellent tool to practice with, and to introduce novices to shooting real firearms. It's doesn't get any more realistic than this!

  4. This has to be one of the best bargains around for sheer fun. First of all, the CP99 Compact fits my hand perfectly. It has a blow-back action that simulates a real semi-auto firearm recoil. It has a decent trigger, firing single action only. It has the weight of a genuine cartridge-firing handgun. It takes a real stack magazine that hold 17 rounds. Literally rounds--it shoot BB's. The weight, balance and general ergonomics of the gun make it pretty accurate for a smooth bore. And it also mimicks the Walther P99 handgun--a truly well designed and reliable firearm. It's a real pleasure to use an air pistol that doesn't have fake levers and buttons all over it. This gun has a functioning magazine release and slide release. The one sore point (shared by just about every other air pistol I've seen) is a truly wretchedly designed safety that is placed on the wrong side of the gun for a right-hander and requires two motions to put into fire mode.

I bought the gun with four spare magazines. It's a wise idea. Loading the magazines is slow and tedious and requires almost as much accuracy as hitting a bullseye. But, oh boy, once the magazines are loaded the fun really starts. Having 17 BB's available as fast as you can pull the trigger is a temptation to just blast away. Go ahead. BB's cost next to nothing and this gun is economical in using CO2 so just enjoy it. The excellent ergonomics mean you'll be hitting a beer can or keeping all shots in a tight group on target at 10 meters, off-hand, with no problem. I'm actually able to shoot this gun more accurately at short range than I can a couple of rifled barrel pellet pistols I own.

While this gun is designated "Compact" it really is no smaller than the standard CP99. It does share the styling of the P99 Compact in the grip area but the CP99 Compact's grip is not as short. It fits my hand well.

I really like this gun. I can't go in my back yard and shoot targets or empty cans with a real firearm but I can have a real blast with this little BB gun and never disturb the neighbors or draw any attention. Focusing your concentration on a target while shooting is one of the best mind exercises around. It's a discipline I'm not really very good at but it's a satisfying and liberating endeavor. Using an air gun like this is very good therapy.

  5. When I opened the box, I KNEW this CO2 pistol meant business. It's so eerily authentic...it's almost intimidating. The box even says: "As real as it gets".
Having had a number of Crosman spring & CO2 guns over the years, I had to give this one a try.

    The GOOD points:
    1) VERY realistic...in other words, do NOT let the police catch you brandishing this...it might get YOU SHOT!
    2) Easy loading with a clip that holds up to 17 BBs
    3) Blowback feature....again, realistic, as is the slight recoil you feel.
    4) Great BB pistol for training and plinking.
    5) Accurate pistol, considering it is only a 3.3 inch barrel with no sight adjustments.
    6) The last shot locks the slide back....just like the real deal. And when racked & cocked, a red indicator shows up on the back of the slide (when safety moved to *fire* mode).

    The BAD points:
    1) My (first) pistol jammed after a few rapid shots, and there is NO practical way, short of trying to dismantle the pistol to CLEAR a jam...not a good thing. The magazine might need a design "tweak" or two. I feel the mag is very sensitive to any BB which might have the slightest deformity.
    2) The select switch for FIRE/SAFE mode....the sawtooth appendage is rough to move with anything other than your offhand.
    3) The wheel that tightens the CO2 cartridge...not easy to tighten for a novice..better to let DAD help with that.

    The UGLY points:
    1) Crosman/Walther/Umarex needs to let some BB pistol enthusiasts take a stab at (re)engineering the bad points. This could be THE BEST PISTOL on the market *if* these issues were taken care of. The consumer should ALWAYS have a method of clearing ANY jam in ANY weapon. That's just common sense.
    2) The price is a little steep, considering it is NOT a pellet gun, but a BB gun (smooth bore, no rifling with less muzzle velocity). Shop around for the best price.
    3) This is purely aesthetic (to me)....the shell ejection port on the real gun is molded (on this pistol) as part of the slide, so that takes away from the authenticity a bit, but no biggie. Still, it would be a nice touch.

**The people I bought the original pistol from had no problem with replacing my defective pistol for another (new) one.
Overall, I am STILL very pleased with the pistol, and would recommend it to anyone wanting to punch some paper, plink some cans, or crack some bottles. Check the return policies with your seller, just in case.
Quality Control is there to make sure defects don't get into consumer hands...and every once in a while, a piece or two falls through the cracks.

((This is not a major issue, but if you want to extract the most shots from a C02 cartridge, keep it at room temperature, or in your pockets and try to space your shots. Having a COLD cylinder will reduce the number of shots available by at least 10%, This applies to ANY C02 activated weapon.))

After all is said and done...THIS is STILL a great pistol, and since most every seller out there would understand a situation similar to mine and make good on it, it's a total "win-win" sccenario...

My replacement pistol works GREAT. After...a LOT of clipfuls of BBs, this baby is doing a number on the old phonebook I am using for a "backstop". It's got some good penetration power, and will turn this book to confetti REAL soon.

SO...go get yourself one...and a LOT of BBS to go with it, because once you fire this pistol, you'll be hooked!

    Bobby G.

  1. It was overall good. good fps i thinks its probly over 200fps tho. My light didnt work. The scope works but it doesnt magnify. The scope has a red cross that can be turned on which is helpful. dont use the silencer it makes the gun worse.

  1. I got this gun for my first airsoft gun and it is great i have three guns and two are pistols and one is a m16 and this one is very accurate shoots far and has a great fps of 287 thats good but you should definetly think about buying this gun.

  2. The Sig Sauer P226 is a very good gun. It is accurate and has a good feel in the hand. It is not heavy;it is light and small. It is well made. The magazine holds 12; can hold 13 of 6mm. The velocity is 287 Fps. My son says it is not very powerful but goes far. The magazine is a little awkward to load at first but you get used to it.

  3. I really like this gun. It has great aim, power, and is a perfect side-arm. The only problem I have with this gun is that it has only as a 12 round clip. I strongly suggest a speed loader and an extra clip. Other than the small mag, I think this is a great gun and recommend it.

  1. alright everyone, in rference to the two reviews above.... they are correct. it shoots slow, when you remove the pin eeryhing falls apart, and it's light weight and feels like crap for the most part, but dispite all of that there is a way to make this thing rocket like a bat out of hell.

the first day i got it i was screwing around with my dad and told him to shoot it. little did he know that i had removed the hammer pin, so when he shot it the hammer fell off the top but none of the other peices had fallen out. so a little later one of my friends was over and i demenstrated what i did to my dad. BUT when the hammer hit the CARPET yeah the carpet not the concrete like earlier, every peice within the hammer had fallen out. and this is worked by 6 pieces. you have the front end barell, then a white gasket imbetween, then the backend barell, then slide cover, then two springs that are on either side of the barell. after putting it back together we noticed something... this gun now shoots like a freakin rocket. regardless of the weight and feel of the gun, this sucker can shoot if put back together. we tracked it at over 300 FPS so yeah. and this wasn't a one time accurence. my two friends bought one as well and we took there's apart as well and there's too are bookin 300 FPS, and now it hurts.

--- I recomen this product to anyone over the age of 18 and that have patients with figuring out how to put it back together after removing the hammer pin, it is a great secondary ---

P.S.- you can tell that there is supposed to be a orange tip on the gun from the picture. they did a really bad job photo shopping it and it looks blury where the tip should be. nice try guys but i was expecting the safety regulatory tip ;)

  2. it is ok but i hated it doesnt go very fast it doesnt hurt wen u get hit wich sux its not acurt it breaks really easy and it doesnt even look cool if ur thinkin bout buyin it save more money and get a toris

  3. Well, I was interested in getting an airsoft gun ever since I saw the full metal MP5s, but I couldn't bear to drop 400 bucks on one. I figured I would start small, get a pistol which is less than 20. Also, I thought it would be sweet to use in a movie.

I got my pistol last night, and it was well packaged, but instructions are a little skimpy. Don't pull the pins out above the trigger, as it causes the slide to come off. I especially like the magazine removal. Its very cool and fun. Not sure if other airsoft pistols have removable magazines, but this one does and hold more like 25 BBs, rather than 15.

The cocking action requires a bit of effort, certainly any teenager or adult can muster this strength. My old Daisy BB rifle is actually harder. If you don't pull the slide back all the way until it stops moving, the BB will not load.

I think the internal mechanisms are actually the shoddiest part of the gun, the slide moves laterally when pulled back, and plastic parts scrape together. By "some metal parts" i think they mean the 2 springs on the inside.

For accuracy, the pistol has very good accuracy, and the speed is definitely low - maybe around 220fps. The BBs are carried by the wind.

For appearance, the picture is slightly deceiving. The barrel extends out of the slide a half inch or so and is bright orange (according to US law). I am sure this could be easy fixed for anyone wanting realism in a movie. The paint job and overal appearance is otherwise good enough to make a convincing argument on any film.

Recommendation: I would recommend a slightly higher priced pistol (>$20) as I would hope the internal mechanisms would be more solid. That is unless you love the USP. It feels great in the hand.
