4 comments about Daisy Avanti 747 Triumph Match.
- I've had the 747 over 6 weeks now. As others have said, it is extremely accurate. It has an adjustible trigger that I have not needed to adjust yet. While it is fairly heavy, I got used to the weight fairly quickly. Much of the weight is in the barrel, but that gives the gun what I consider a good balance. I shoot with a two-hand and a one-hand grip.I think a small shooter would have problems with the weight. It is pretty easy to cock.
It is quiet. I shoot indoors a lot and my wife is not disturbed by the sound. I have added a red dot sight that I have getting used to. Of course you can't use a sighting device in 10 meter competition but I use the gun for pleasure rather than competition. At the end of a day, I find it relaxing to shoot 40 or 50 pellets into a pellet trap at 27 feet.
So far it has not been fussy about pellets. I haven't really found a brand that stands out for good or bad.
- The Daisy Avanti 747 Triumph is a very, very accurate, .177 caliber, "one-pump" pellet pistol, at a "street price," as of this writing, of about $130. It is also very quiet which makes it suitable for indoor use as well as in a back yard. It is definitely "barrel heavy" and not a good choice for children, unless they are adult size. Total weight is 2.91 pounds; the steel, rifled barrel is 9.6" long; and overall length is 13.5". I received mine two months ago and this is what I found:
The cardboard box had a ding in it but it did not affect the 747. The packaging is not double-boxed, the interior box is a half-box styrofoam affair that fits inside the cardboard mailing carton. I ordered it from Pyramyd via Amazon. All vendors use this same packaging as it originates with Daisy. None of them repackage the piece nor do they open it to inspect before shipping it out. In fact, Daisy packs a bright orange instruction sheet that says if you have problems (defective gun, etc.) Do Not Return the airgun to the retail store where you purchased it, return it to Daisy. So, for all of you collector types, you do not get much of an original box. The name on the gun is Daisy Power Line 747. The pellet gun comes with a bit of oil on it and in it--particularly inside the barrel. Instructions tell you to run several cotton patches down the barrel to get rid of the excess oil before you fire it. If you don't have a .177 ramrod, a wood dowel or bamboo skewer works well and it will not scratch or ding the rifling in the barrel.
The front sight is a metal blade and ramp and the rear is plastic and completely adjustable for windage and elevation. My first test firings had the pistol shooting 3" low at 10 meters. It was easy to adjust. The safety is a T-bolt and works fine. There is a metal, ½ circle shroud on it on the side where you push it off of safety--a minor annoyance, but once off you can leave it off. The trigger is wide, smooth, and can be finely adjusted down to a one pound pull. An adjustment tool is packaged with the gun. The checkered grips are fairly large plastic target grips with a great thumb rest and come in left or right hand. Mine fit well and do not slip or creep. They are dark in color and really don't look that bad--they still feel and sound like plastic. Nice Walnut replacements can be ordered online for under $50 from RBGrips.
The bolt is plastic, probably delrin, and is not shaped like a classic T bolt nor does it have a round ball to pull on. It is a bit flat and not really convenient to grab and open up. If one has fat fingers it is not going to be easy to open and cock this piece. Once cocked and loaded the bolt easily opens up if you catch it on anything. The metal cocking device is on the left side of the pistol and is easy to operate (17 pounds pump force). On the outside it is sort of smooth and finished except the line from the casting process. On the inside, exposed when cocking, it is not so smooth--from the casting. You pump it once. More is not better and it could damage the piece. It should propel your pellet at 395 fps. I don't have a chrono so I am guessing that it is close to the 395. When I first received it there was a little wind blowing in my back yard. Using the back of a patio chair for support I did have two, five-shot groupings within one inch. I am told that in time this piece will do better than that--I don't know if it can with me doing the shooting though. I used both Crosman Premium Wadcutters and Gamo Match pellets. For me, they shot about the same. The packaged instructions tell you when and how you must lube and oil parts of this airgun. Never over-lube or grease any airgun.
I have not experienced any problems with this airgun--nothing was loose and the barrel is dead-on center. All things considered, including the price, this mass-produced gun is an accurate shooter, is easy for me to hold, and is worth the money. The finish tends to nick and scratch easily, and may not wear well over time. I hope some third party folks come along and start making some "add-on" improvements for it, like an improved metal bolt with a knob, a rear metal site, and maybe a metal, grooved target trigger or trigger shoe. It is not the quality build of a Beeman/HW but its performance is close for a lot less money.
- This is a very well made and accurate target pistol. After getting the sights aligned, I found that it would consistently deliver 1/2" or less groups from 10 meters when supported (on the back of a lawn chair). It's inherent accuracy is probably much better than my un-scientific testing methods.
Although it is a fairly large pistol, the weight is reasonable because they used a lot of plastic. Unfortunately, the grips, trigger and sights are all plastic. They look and function well, however, these components would feel better if they were wood and metal. My other air pistol is a Crossman 1377, and it does not even compare to this model. Even with the heavy use of plastic components, this pistol is light years ahead of the Crossman in both form and function.
A small tool is included to adjust the sights and trigger pressure. Both are easy to adjust and the sights have "tic" marks that help.
Bottom line...a pistol that is quiet to shoot, easy to operate, so accurate that you eventually get bored putting pellet after pellet throught the same hole and costs less than some airsoft replicas. A great buy.
- This is a great starter gun for airpistol competitions. My 4-H group uses this one and it is quite accurate. Only complaint could be that it is a little heavy for youth doing a one handed competion.

- Let's begin. I ordered two of these. I got two of them. One had the motor burnt out by the time I got it, the other did not accept the magazine. Afetr arguing with the seller, the only responses I got were instructions on how to load and fire the gun, and to make sure i had the batteries incorrectly. I opened them up to find that the gun that didn't accept the magazine had internal parts cracked. A vain attempt to make one working gun from two worthless ones ended in failure. I'm out thirty bucks,
Such a shame...
- Okay, so when I first got it it was broken. However, after a week a new one arrive right at my doorstep and the only reason it took that long was because they had a hurricane that nocked out their power. Customer service is great, and the gun is wonderful. It's much bettter than $10 can get you anywhere else. The BB does start to sag at about 25 feet, but the gun does come with a great full auto mode that shoots at like 5 balls per second. If you don't want to blow hundreds on a pro gun, this is the way to go. BTW what you see in the picture has the included barrel attatchment on, the pistol itself is pretty small. I'd guess i'm getting about 150 fps with .12g BBs.
- It's a cool gun not sure of the FPS though, but when you take the magazine the batteries fall out! Not a big problem though
- pros: the gun looks like robocops pistol, its shoot a deceant amount of feet considering its and electric pistol, it has blow back and the clips hold about 19 rounds
cons: after the last shot is fired the clip usually come falling out with all the batteries, which gets kinda in the way
- Pros:
Beautiful gun made of hard but metal-like plastic
Powerful for an electric gun
Semi to auto firing
Holds more than 15 pellets
Blow Back adds realism
Mag falls out when out of ammo
Cons
But batteries fall out too!

- this gun sucks. i bought it for 11.50 a year ago and im sure it still sucks and now they are are ripping people off for a gun that should not even be on the market and its made of a bunch of cheap sucky thin plastic and i dropped it on the grass and the stock completely broke off!!!!!! i wasted 12 bucks and you should not buy this gun it shot like ten feet when i first got it and they said it shot 370fps and now they have changed it to 200. NOT A GOOD BUY UNLESS YOU ARE STUPID AND LIKE CRAPPY GUNS
- This gun isn't too bad but i would rate it a three and a half because it seems like it shoots at 185 fps, and the button for the flashlight broke the same day i got it. The stock broke like a week after that but i just duct taped it and it works fine. It also shoots 2 or 3 bbs with 1 cocking action, which can dramatically ruin the fps. It could be that i got a faulty gun in thousands or millions but thats just what happened to me.
- When I bought this guns I bought it new but right off the start I knew it wasn't. When I read the instructions they didnt make the least sense. Sure it looks cool but I'll find it hard to believe u got it to work. when u put the bb's in the mag they all fall into a chambber in the back that dosent even have a link to the gun. The whole thing has a wierd system that is completely didfferent from ordinary guns. i couldnt even get the bb's in the actual gun, they all fall out of the mag. basically DONT BUY THIS GUN.
- Obviously, for this price, you aren't going to get the greatest airsoft gun in the world. However, this one is fairly good. FPS is around 250-300, and it's fairly accurate. My only real complaint is that the magazine has a weird system in it where if you try to load it more than about 3/4 of the way full, the bb's in the feed chute will empty straight into a hopper that is not connected back to the feed chute. Overall, it is worth the money though.
- Not worth the $6.50 - we could not get this device to fire a shot. The pellets got stuck in the barrel. Don't waste your time.

- This one went into the trash bin only two days after it's arrival. The gun was loaded and fired a total of eight times before it became permanently jammed. The rod that is supposed to remove a jammed airsoft pellet is useless and there are no other instructions as to how it can be cleared.

- Very functional and serves the purpose. Fits well. Sturdy. Same as more expensive types. Worth the price.
- looks good works good but when i got the product it was scratched and shipped slow
- I shouldn't have to convince you, just look at the picture. It works wonders. I just keep my bipod deployed, it saves time and doesn't get in the way of anything.

5 comments about Crosman Air Mag C11 Soft Air Pistol.
- I first got this Crosman C11 "AIRMAG" Airsoft CO2 Gun quite a few months ago. I loved it! To my surprise, it was quite heavy and realistic. Although made of hard plastic, the gun is very durable and won't break very easily. Furthermore, the C11 comes at an inexpensive price and is well worth the price.
As a backyard plinker, I realized that the gun was quite inaccurate even with 0.20g BBs. However, I still do not regret buying it one bit - if you're looking for a good gas gun at a cheap price, this gun is for you!
Pros:
-Heavy for its somewhat-compact size (1.1 lbs, to be exact, contrary to Amazon's stats)
-A hard hitter (shoots up to 400 FPS, has a decent range, and is semiautomatic)
-Durable design, yet stylish-looking; the grip feels nice
-The barrel and magazine are metal (steel)
-Includes a tactical rail for mounting flashlights or lasers
-Terrific for CQB/CQC (close-quarters battle/close-quarters combat)
-Comes at a great, cheap price for a quality product!
Cons:
-Quite inaccurate in longer ranges
-CO2 cover is sometimes loose (it slides from the handle)
-Requires you to buy 12 gram CO2 cartridges (although they are cheap)
For the beginners out there, start out with a spring gun. All in all, this is a great gun and I would definitely recommend it to those who have some experience in playing airsoft. :) Buy it!
- I love this gun, i shoot through metal cans w/ it! It has 400 fps and uses Co2, I would recommend this to anyone who is new to airsoft or to those who have been playing for years, overall this gun is amazing!
- I love this gun, good for star4ters and it is overall very slick, it looks nice and has a sturdy core, i wish i could give it a 6 star!
- i have just received my pistol and it is very impressive. The weight feels realistic. It is powerful and very accurate. I would recommend buying the extra clip because the ammo goes fast.
- I personally don't play competitive airsoft. I've thought about getting into it, but just haven't. I bought this gun a few weeks ago and so far haven't had any problems with it. I also have a crosman holster for it, which it fits into perfectly. The gun feels good in your hand; it's got some realistic weight and feel to it. It has an accessory rail on it so you can add a laser dot or flash light. My main use for this gun (which it is absolutely perfect for) is playing airsoft pistol wars in parks (like Kid's Kingdom) after dark once all the children have left. I can see how this gun would also make a remarkable side arm if you played professionally/competitively. It's good on C02 and shoots about 400 FPS with .12 BBs, but they tend to curve the farther they travel. Best bet is to use .2 BBs and get between 320-340 FPS, because the heavier BBs curve less, fly straighter and further with more accuracy. Overall great gun highlyu recommended to anyone!
