1. My daughter is crazy about this book, and she has been since she was about 8 months old. I think the fact that you can't help but sing the story when you read it makes it much more interesting. I've never actually heard the whole song before, so I can only guess if I'm singing it correctly. She loves it though. As always, the cardboard pages make for a very durable baby book.



2. Baby Beluga is a fantastic book for the class I work in. The three and four year old special ed students LOVE this book along with Raffi's music being played. I strongly recommend it for any child. I'm purchasing the book and the CD for my nephews who do not have any disabilities because I know they'll love it too.

4. This book is great even if you don't know the music. My little guy 'reads' along while listening to the Raffi CD, but you don't need the CD to enjoy the book. The pictures are terrific for the child and adult. My son insists on reading this every night at bedtime, and that's okay with me!



5. I love this book and the accompaning CD. My grandsons who are now 13 had this book when they were infants, and were still singing the songs when they were 5. I gave it as a gift to my God Daughter, and this one was a gift for my first Great Grandson. Raffi writes stories and songs that children should grow up with. I am positive I will give this book and CD again.

1. I love anything to do with Raffi. I raised my children singing his wonderful songs and now I am beginning to share them with my granddaughter. I am never disappointed with anything that Raffi produces. Thank you for having his collection available on Amazon.

4. As a child this was one of my favorites and now am excited that I have a little one of my own to sing it to. My husband is in the Army and actually calls me from work to tell me he cant get it out of his head. As for my daughter, she is 19 months and really likes looking at the book and dancing to us singing it. This is the same author as Baby Beluga which is just as much a favorite as this one.

1. Raffi has long been one of my favorite children's entertainers. This book includes the piano music from 3 of his records. The music is at a moderate level, you need some piano skills to be able to play it, but it is not overly difficult. The children love the songs. They are almost exact versions from the 3 records.

1. I bought this compilation primarily to get the sheet music for "Robin in the Rain." The book is packed with great tunes. Here in the Pacific Northwest we see lots of robins in the rain as they enjoy the worms that the rain drives out. My troup of ukulele playing performers has added "Robin in the Rain" to our tune list for performances at senior residences and children's groups. We'll add more from this collection. Buy one if you can find it.

1. This song book contains the music for dozens of Raffi's wonderful children's songs. Most of them are easy enough for even a beginning guitar player to learn quickly enough to impress the under 6 set! There is nothing like singing with your kids! This is also an excellent tool for PreK and K-3 teachers who may not have the luxury of an in-school music teacher. They are easy to learn, and are loved by kids - great for a rollicking sing along or 'filling time' on those bad weather days!



2. This book lets you teach 25 vowel-spellings with 69 vocabulary words.



3. I strongly recommend this book for the adult beginner (or child) who is familiar with Raffi's music. Mr. Sun is the first song I officially know on my guitar...LOL And I am proud to strum it for the ever impressed 4 year old in my home! :)
   
   I definitely found the music and layout of the book to the benefit of a new guitarist.

1. Kids always find it easier to read when they already hear the song in their head, so this one will be a surefire hit for threes and fours who desperately want to learn to read. Music score is included.

1. I used this book with my preschool class. I brought in a toy spider to go along with it. I sang the song as I read it with the children in a circle. Then I put the spider on the children and the part of the body the spider was on. This was a fun book to do.



2. My 2 year old adores this book- great pictures and fun silly song to read and sing aloud.



3. My 16 month old daughter loves this book! This was one of the first books she was interested in and has yet to tire of it. As she develops, she is interested in different aspects of it such as facial expressions and animals. In fact, I am replacing her copy because it has been taped together too many times to repair again.

1. My 18-month-old grandson enjoys this song (and "bus" was one of his first words). He isn't real excited about the book yet, but I think he will enjoy it later when he can sing it himself. My only problem with the book is that two of the pages were upside down. But because it's a board book, I was able to separate the pages with my nailfile and paste them back in right side up with library glue (one of the perks of being a librarian). 2. This is the second copy I'm buying as the 1st one was read until it fell apart! My 14 month old LOVES this book.



3. I bought this when my daughter was 13 months, and after 7 months she still loves this book. There are different people in the bus - adults, kids, elderly, pets, etc., and many things happening on and off the bus.
   
   When my daughter refuses to drink her milk, I'll turn to the page where the baby is happily drinking from the bottle, then she will take her cup and start drinking.
   
   Try Raffi's CD as well. He sang the song to a cheerful tones with kids in the background - my daughter loves it.



4. Timing is everything to read this book, which is really a song. Although the notes are at the end to hint how the words should be read, without hearing it sung first and reading it out loud in a dull monotonous fashion a toddler may look at the reader as if to ask "Why bother?" Then I heard it on one of the CDs and now the words flow beautifully and make me read and read, read and read, all through the night.

   Children of all ages will delight in joining in the fun. You'll sing, giggle and shake all those sillies out.

   If you're having one of those days where the little ones just can't sit still, or they've been cranky and you need a good book- this is it.

   Read, sing it, do it- what fun for the whole crew. This would be great for a day care, pre-school, or young group of children. They'll get creative and show you just how goofy they can be.
