1. This helmet is not only the most bad-a** looking helmet in the whole mountain, it also has an excelent built in sound sistem. I was completely tired of my earplugs falling, so this helmet was the best solution, it even comes with a muting button, so that you can press it when you are in the lift talking to a friend.

1. First of all, awesome helmet. I ride in Vermont for reference: COLD winters! This helmet kept my head and ears warm, the ear flaps have little mesh panels so you can still hear really well. The ear flaps as well as the liner panels inside the helmet are removeable for washing. Helmet is lightweight. Fits fine with goggles and has a snap strap on the back to hold your goggle strap in place. But really though, regardless of all this, you know at first glance if this is your helmet or not!



2. This is the one item that has changed my snowboarding life. getting a helmet makes you so much more confident and if you are struggling to snowboard, you know confidence is what you lack. i went from green hills, doing the falling leaf into carving black diamonds and doing jumps within 2 trips up. the helmet has changed my life, plus it looks pimp.

1. I recently purchased a Giro Nine helmet from Amazon.com. They gave me an option to have free shipping as long as I did not mind waiting 7-14 days. I picked that option and actually received my helmet in only 3 days!!!!
   The product itself is great. The helmet is comfortable and light. The strap is padded so it does not rub against your chin. The helmet keeps you very warm. There is no ventilation like some other helmets, but that is fine for me (I am always cold, not hot).
   I have not had any major wipe outs yet, so I cannot comment on that aspect of the quality. The pink, smog, and white color is cute; but it can easily get scratched. I store my helmet in a small case to protect it while traveling.

3. I've had this helmet (only a few changes have been made to the Giro 9) for maybe 5 years. I still love it. My boyfriend just bought this exact one last week, and so far he loves his, too. It's really comfortable, even if you spend all day on the mountain. SO MUCH warmer than a hat. I don't know what the other reviewer was talking about, there totally IS really good ventilation. You can take out the ear pads, and you just pop out the foam things plugging the holes and it's ready for a 60 degree spring day. Well made, it's a great buy.

1. I bought the Giro G9 for a recent 5 day ski trip. I found it to be very comfortable- It was easy to forget you were wearing it. This is not easy to admit as I was quite reluctant to start wearing a helmet. The quick size adjustment mechanism in the rear was my favorite feature. It allowed you to quickly and easily customise the fit and made wearing a helmet liner on really cold days very easy.A couple of clicks on the adjuster made room in the helmet for the liner instantly. No more "too tight with the liner and too loose without it" compromises. this was the feature that put this helmet ahead of its competitors for me.

1. The helmet it great. I had to go to the manufacturers website to get a size chart (I think Amazon needs to include those!). The helmet fit great, its snug and warm on the slopes. Came in handy while I was learning to snowboard.



2. I just got this helmet last week, so far no major complaints keeps me warm, the the 2 things I have to say is that I had to do some research to find my size, and also that the strap is a bit short. I purchased the medium and my head is between a medium and a large, I didnt want something to loose, but the strap is a bit short and I am concerned that the latch may come off. But overall its pretty good, and I just ordered the audio tuneups for it.



3. Great helmet for a low low price! It's already helped me from hitting my head once! No need for a helmet liner it's plenty warm but cool enough for warmer days! Great helmet for all mountain or hitting up the park! A+++



4. I tried multiple helmets at a Sports Authority store and found it (Encore 2) the most comfortable one. It is even better than many $150+ helmets from Soloman, K2 etc. For a frequent skier like me (on the mountain every weekend), I need a helmet that I can wear very often and for long hours each time. And this is the one. (Note: Be sure to get Encore "2" as it improves a lot from the original Encore series). Last but not least, the design on this one (Risto Matteilla Signature)is cool. Anyway, no complaint on this product or Amazon's service (delivered in 2 days with free shipping) whatsoever.



5. Helmet is extremely comfortable and light, only negative thing about the helmet is the paint scuffs very easily.
