1. I recently purchased a Giro Nine helmet from Amazon.com. They gave me an option to have free shipping as long as I did not mind waiting 7-14 days. I picked that option and actually received my helmet in only 3 days!!!!
   The product itself is great. The helmet is comfortable and light. The strap is padded so it does not rub against your chin. The helmet keeps you very warm. There is no ventilation like some other helmets, but that is fine for me (I am always cold, not hot).
   I have not had any major wipe outs yet, so I cannot comment on that aspect of the quality. The pink, smog, and white color is cute; but it can easily get scratched. I store my helmet in a small case to protect it while traveling.

3. I've had this helmet (only a few changes have been made to the Giro 9) for maybe 5 years. I still love it. My boyfriend just bought this exact one last week, and so far he loves his, too. It's really comfortable, even if you spend all day on the mountain. SO MUCH warmer than a hat. I don't know what the other reviewer was talking about, there totally IS really good ventilation. You can take out the ear pads, and you just pop out the foam things plugging the holes and it's ready for a 60 degree spring day. Well made, it's a great buy.

1. I love these. I can use them for just about anything and any season. They work great for snow sports and I love how they dont fog up. I also like how they work great for low light and are easy on my eyes. It does not hurt my eyes to look through them either so I can wear them for hours with no problems. They look great and are very attractive as well. They are great quality and totally suggest them.



2. These glasses are great. Was looking for something for the boat to keep the wind out of my eyes while going fast. Clarity is just as good as my $250 Oakleys and I was able to go 40mph into a head wind with no tearing. Great alternative to going to a full goggle. Can't beat 'em for the price.



3. they fit well and are very light. they provide good protection and are quite stylish for something that is padded and floats.

1. Gloves are toasty...perform as expected, and are a sweet luxury after a long, cold day on the slopes; HOWEVER, the D-SIZED batteries (1 per glove) are considerably more bulky than what I expected. Most reasonable people would anticipate having to use 3 or 4 AA batteries...but no, just one, bit fat chicken-roastin' D-sized battery. Good product, but consider whether wearing the big ol' D's around your wrist all day will get on your nerves, or whether you'll barely notice, being bundled-up and bulkified anyway. May also interfere with cinching up your jacket sleeves when it's really nippy out.



2. When I purchased a pair of these gloves a couple of years ago, I had high hopes. My hands become cold easily, and I was looking forward to wearing gloves that would actively help in warming them.
   
   
   I will admit that these gloves are respectable as normal, unheated gloves. They are fairly well insulated and provide a moderate degree of dexterity.
   
   However, the heating element is ineffective. Inserting batteries into the gloves provided little (if any) increase in warmth. My fingers remained cold.
   
   In addition, I have recently discovered that the thin wire connecting the heating element to the battery in one of the gloves has become disconnected. These gloves have not been subjected to any harsh abuse, so it is disappointing to find that the wire had been disconnected so easily.
   
   If you are looking for a pair of heated gloves that will actually make a difference and keep your hands (including your fingers)warm, look elsewhere.



3. Well...I bought these gloves thinking they'd help me when I went skiing...they didn't do a darned thing...they kept the palms of the hands lukewarm but my fingers still froze. I guess it goes to show you can't expect quality out of something that costs so little.

1. Blizzard of Ahs, and to a similar extent, License to Thrill, are simply the best ski movies ever.
   
   Just two major criticisms of this set:
   
   1. It's not 16:9 or letterbox. Stump, are you sure you couldn't figure out a way to letterbox this? Didn't you shoot it on film?
   
   2. The audio sucks, and that's one of the best things about these movies.
   
   Please remix the sound and do this in an HD format, Stump.
