- Although my item was defective (the liner was broken on one of the boots), the seller was very apologetic and responsive. They refunded my total cost plus paid for return shipping. I was really pleased with their response.

1 comments about Salomon Performa 8.0 Men's Ski Boots - 2006.
- I switched from a racing boot that was very stiff and uncomfortable to this boot. The Salomon Performa 80 is very comfortable but lacks much stiffness on forward flexion. This is good for skiing bumps if you can keep your weight forward over your skiis. In bumps, the softness of the boot allows you to not get tipped back on your tails. It is not a good choice if you are trying to ski a stiffer, all mountain ski. You end up really having to work to hard to drive your knees because the soft flexion of the boot doesn't decamber the ski easily. On the other hand, this boot partners nicely with a softer carving ski such as the Atomic C9 (essentially a softer, detuned slalom ski). Good comfortable boot for an intermediate but not recommended for more advanced skiers and certainly not expert all mountain/off piste.
