- I got these boots the day befor a trip to Belgium that involved a lot of walking. My wife thought I was crazy for bringing them (only). For me, no break-in required. They are rugged, comfortable, stylish, and enable easy passage though the US's ridiculous Airport security.
The best advice I found was the rewiew that suggested ordering via the earopean sizing. I am a 42 which usually translates to about an 8 3/4 in standard US sizing. I got a 42 which is labeled as 8. Had I ordered my normal US 9 they would have been too big.

- The only problem with Blunnies is finding them and figuring out the correct size. These are the second pair that I have bought for my son, who is now 12, since he outgrew the first pair. They didn't owe me a dime. He wears them everywhere -- they are so comfortable, and being in the northeast, they double as snow and rain boots since they are waterproof. I had previously purchased them for my husband, who adores them as well. When they travel, my husband and son always take their blunnies since they are not only good for everyday wear with blue jeans, but with a nice pair of trousers, they also can be dressed up and go out to dinner.
- Blundies are great boots... Easy to care for and water proof.
These boots are the best in my opinion

- These boots are just about perfect for travel and around town. All-day comfort (actually don't want to take them off...) and they look dressy enough to pass for the office, casual enough to go pub-hopping.
Relatively lightweight yet sturdy; easy on-off (especially important for showing our airport security types that, no, you're not another shoe bomber); weather proof.
Can't ask for more: comfort, style, versatility.
On size: I found they were not quite true to size, but I have a wide foot. If you are E or wider, you should probably order a half-size up.

- These boots are well made. With the correct fit they feel as if they have been your boots forever. I wish that this company made tall riding boots. One caution though, unisex sizing is very difficult to figure out. I wear a womans size US 7 or 7.5 and have a rather wide foot. I usualy wear a euro 38 or 39 these boots were huge. I sent them back and eventually ended up with a AU 4.5. Shipping was fast but could be quicker if amazon did not use DHL. They will not deliver to rural addresses so the package goes to the local post office to be delivered.
- This is my first pair of Blundstone boots and it was a great purchase! I can wear them with a jacket and tie or jeans and a t-shirt. They are just as comfortable as they are versatile. They can be worn in all types of weather and that's an added plus since the weather in Michigan varies so much. Great boots, I will buy another pair if these ever wear out...

- i love these boots. i have the 500's and 550's. the look great as casual boots or with a fancy outfit. i am told everyone in australia wears them with everything. they last forever. i found that the US to australian shoe sizing is a little off. my blunnies are an aussie size 6 and i am a 9.5 woman's US. weird. anyway, try them on if you can. otherwise, maybe order 1/2 size smaller than what you are.
- I bought my first pair at least 8 years ago and they just now finally wore out. I live in New York City and walk a LOT. My Blunnies not only held up for years but were extremely comfortable the whole time, and I'm talking about walking on hard surfaces. They always look good -- the more beat up the better -- and they're good year 'round. For some reason they even look good with shorts -- I guess it's some Aussie special ingredient! Also a good all-weather boot. I always wear them when I go on ski trips -- at the end of the day they are great to slip on after having my feet in ski boots all day. Just the best for all-round use!
- I've been using 500 and 510 within the last decade - very strong and soft leather; perfect for walking in a jungle. Just purchased the 500 again; very hard to wear, rugged and after 2 months of wearing the leather color begins to fade out in individual places- you begin to see the actual color of the leather, not the color of the shoe you purchased. I am disappointed.
