- These shoes are the best I've ever tried. I used to wear only split sole ballet slippers and would have never even dreamed about wearing a full sole, but I needed black slippers (I didn't get them from here) for my Halloween costume one year and could only find full sole (Dansofts) so i had to buy them. Then on Halloween, wouldn't you know it, it rained and I couldn't wear them. At the time I was very mad, but now I'm glad I didn't get wear them because they would've beed ruined, but now I can wear them now for dancing. They last a long time and mould to your foot fast. If mine get dirty or dusty on the bottom (or top) I wipe it off with a damp, but not too damp paper towel and they look almost new. Also, the full sole seems to make you work slightly harder to arch your foot to it's full potential and keeps me from knuckling my toes. Now that I've tried these I'm never going back to split sole. I wouldn't even switch shoe models - even if they looked and performed very similiar or identically. I like to stick with what I know, and now this is what I know. The only downside is that on occassion the shoe will form a small "bubble" under the ball of you foot while pointing. This can be fixed by simply taking your finger and pushing the "bubble" against you foot (that's still pointing). Since you can't keep constantly pushing in the "bubble" while dancing it might not be the best shoe for performances, but is fine for class as the "bubble" should not disrupt the formation of the arch or hinder the quality of dancing. It just won't make the feet look as streamlined or defined as they would in a slightly more conforming shoe. But in the end I think the pros far outweigh the cons. And you definately can't beat the price :)
- Lining was damaged, so I returned this ballet slippers. I tried them on, the edges of the elastic straps scratch your feet. I ordered size 4 and I felt it was little bit tight. I normally wear 5.5 street shoes. Perhaps 4.5 would be a better fit.
- This shoe runs very big. I ordered as if I would a normal shoe that is not wide. The shoe is very big on my foot and I am unable to wear them.

- These sneakers work great for the Zumba dance class that I take. The "800-number" customer service representative was very helpful in getting the size correct before I ordered them and they fit well.

- The shoe is excellent but you must order at least 1 1/2 sizes larger than your normal shoe size.
- The shoes look great and have a nice sound, but they are not very flexible, and you have to order at least 1 size larger than your street size.
- I'm a beginning tapper (@ 28 years old!) and this shoe is a great value for the price - I am very happy.

- I ordered 2 sizes smaller and returned them. Then I ordered another size down and a B width instead of C and they are still big. Shipping is really adding up now. The description says 2-3 sizes down. I would say at least 3 down. I would not order these again online. I would go to a local dance shoe store and be properly fitted.
- The shoes are very comfortable and conform fairly well to the feet. I may try the leather next time rather than the canvas. This was my first experience with canvas shoes and I had hopes that they would have more give. I can see where leather would hold up better and stretch more, giving a more moulded fit. But on the plus side, the canvas is very light and cool and they breathe wonderfully. I would definately get these again for classroom work.

- Bloch's Super Jazz shoe is a great, affordable shoe. The elastic top prevents the pain and hassle that can come with lace-up shoes while still giving a snug fit, and the shoe forms to the arch nicely. These are a great buy.

- You know your feet the best, but for me, these were hard to break in and when they did, the arch wasn't in the right place. They were never the right shape for my feet, making them look shorter than they really are. That made it harder to get nice lines. The plie II's (capezio) worked better for me, but these might do the trick for you and they're quite a bit cheaper. These are great if you have a wider toe and a strong arch.
- I have tapered toes, a high arch, and narrow feet; these were my first shoes. They were decent in that the support was good, and the wide platform allowed me to balance for a long time without issue. However, if your feet are like mine, you may feel constricted by the width of the shoe, since it doesn't allow for all that much movement. I suggest it for beginning students with non-tapered, slightly wide-wide feet. It's really best to go to a store and be professionally fitted. All in all, the shoes were worth the $29, but not the right kind for my feet.
- I have a medium/high arched foot, and these shoes are my first Pointe shoes, but the shank broke in the wrong area, I don't know if you would call it "breaking" but it was hard to stay on en pointe with these shoes on, and the toe box is a little tight, but besides that, they are not bad shoes, I just don't know if I'll get them again.
- I personally love these shoes they fit me perfectly. ilove the way they balance. if you have a little bit of a fat toe then this is the shoe for you if you have skinny toes get some prima toe pads

- My 2.5-year old started her dance class a couple of months ago. I shopped at a dance supply store for quality, leather ballet shoes and these were recommended to me in the store. My daughter tried them on and we both fell in love with these shoes. They comes in various widths, which is very important for the little chunky feet my daughter has. They easily slip on and you can quickly tie them upfront. The expert at the store recommended a half size larger than her regular shoes and it was a perfect fit. My daughter is very comfortable in these shoes. There are no pressure marks once she takes them off after class. I highly recommend these shoes and will purchase another pair once my daughter outgrows this pair.
- The shoes were great. But heaven forbid you need to return them.
The cost is a bit too much and the process of trying them on to make sure
they are not the least bit messed up a bit much as well.
- It's well built and comfortable. My daughter likes wearing them. Only flaw is that the tie knot comes undone all the time.
- My five year old daughter just started dance classes last month and I wanted to get her a good pair of ballet shoes. I like these ballet slippers because they are good quality and very affordable. I specifically picked this style because of the strap that goes across the foot and helps keep the slipper on. They arrived about a week after I ordered them and we were both very pleased. She loves to wear them and they look very nice, not cheap like some others I've seen. I would recommend this product to any mother who has a little girl that loves to dance. Ever since she got these shoes, her interest in ballet has greatly increased. When she grows out of them I will definitely buy her another pair from the same company. I ordered the slippers one size larger than her normal shoe size and they fit well with room to grow.

- We needed a new pair of ballet slippers for my daughter very quickly. We ordered these and were very happy with the purchase. They arrived within days and the slippers themselves were of good quality. My daughter loves them and you can't beat them for the price. I highly recommend them.

- I bought these shoes to wear to my salsa classes a few years ago. I am impressed with how well they have held up and how comfortable they were from day one. They give me the control to actively dance and are similar enough to my ballroom heels that the transition is easy. If you are dancing frequently in a learning environment, these shoes are fantastic.
I tried these on in a store to find my size and then purchased them online. A little rude to the store, but a must for getting correctly sized shoes at a reasonable price.
- I love my new Bloch dance sneakers, they are better than any other dance sneaker I have had. I am happy that I got the correct size from the beginning, this way I saved money by not having to return the item for an exchange. I wear an 8 street size (women) and my Bloch sneakers are a size 10. So, I think that to get the right size you might want to consider ordering 2 sizes over your street shoe size. The shoes are really GREAT! I even put some quality shoe inserts and it feels great!
