1. I would definitely buy from this seller again! The Betula Birkenstock sandals are wonderful!



2. These Betulas are my replacement pair for Birkenstocks. Upon wearing them, I do notice a slight difference (very slight). The cork footbed is just a bit harder, taking probably more time to mould to your feet. The rest is very very similar. Your feet will feel pampered the minute you wear your new Birkenstock Betulas.
   
   For what you pay, nearly half the price of a Birkenstock (actual) and the only difference being the harder cork footbed, this item is an absolute steal. I do recommend before buying Birkenstock or Betulas that you go to a store that sells these type of shoes and get your size checked. I am a size 12 generally, but size 12 in these sandals is kinda big for me, so I had to go with 11s.The only important thing to make sure before purchase is finding out your exact size.
   
   I went to a Birkenstock store (avg price $110 canadian) ,checked my size, came home and ordered these (at the time of purchase price $51.00 canadian)

3. They seem to be good sandals, but the sizing runs smaller than Birkenstocks. I've been wearing birkenstock 45s for 15 years. So I ordered these, and can't wear them, they're too small.



4. I got the Betula Mocha Brown Nubuck Backstrap Sandal simply because I couldn't afford the actual Birkies. I had to get some type of "good" sandal because as I've gotten older, I have more foot problems. I've only worn these for one day, and my feet do NOT hurt!!! It's been weeks since my feet haven't hurt in one form or another. If you have plantar fascialitis (sp?), I highly recommend these sandals. So far, they're a 5-star PLUS!!



5. I just received a pair of "Betula licenced by Birkenstock" mocha brown nubuck backstrap sandals. These are NOT the same as the true Birkenstock.
   While the size is correct, the straps have been redesigned AND were almost
   too short to be of any use at all. Thus I needed to make new holes
   for all three buckles of each shoe to be able to get my foot into the
   shoe. Furthermore the Betula strap design provides significantly poorer lateral heel support (than the Birkenstock shoe). In summary these are a cheap "knock off".

1. I have to say that these are my favorite pair of Birks, ever! I love these love these love these, however the middle strap does have a tendency to shift to one side. But, they are great! Iam on my eighth pair and a bigger fan with each.

3. Love these sandals! For twenty years I swore I would never wear Birkenstocks, but I have had a complete change of heart since wearing these sandals. My only disappointment is that the sandals were made in China (not Germany) and this was not clear in the description, but that is probably why they were so reasonably priced.



4. I bought a pair last year but the strap between the toes broke off. However, these were so comfortable and I wore them almost on a daily basis, from camping to dinner out that I just had to buy a second pair. They were abused and worn so much that I forgive the strap breaking and love my new pair just as much.



5. These sandals look a lot like my beloved Gizehs, so I assumed they'd fit like Gizehs. Instead,they were far less flexible, and the thong injured my middle toes so badly I could not wear ANY shoes for several days while waiting to heal. The similarity to Gizehs is misleading.

1. I purchased this shoe because of the price amazon was offering, I have 20 pairs of birkenstock sandals and love them all, this was easy to break in and fit was great, sent very quickly, love the shoe, love the price.



2. THESE SANDLES WERE GREAT, THE COMPANY I ORDERED FROM HAD GREAT SERVICE. UNFORTUNATELY MY FEET CANNOT WEAR THESE TYPES OF SHOES. THE COMPANY HANDELED EVERYTHING QUICKLY AND EFFICENTLY. I WILL USE THE COMPANY AGAIN FOR OTHER ITEMS.



3. I have been wearing Birkenstock, Papillio sandals for over 10 years. These Betula Sandals are not built the same. First, when I opened box, the smell of sandals is strong. Second, Made in China stamped on shoe. I looked at all the pairs I owned, all made in Germany. Third, after wearing all day, the sandal made my left second smallest toe hurt. I wear Birkenstock sandals everyday for over 10 years, never have I had any foot pain, until I purchased these. Also color of footbed and cork on these sandals as pictured above, is different than on the pairs I previously owned. Maybe China can't duplicate Germany's quality.



4. The Betulas are easily as durable and comfortable. Great deal for the money with the Birkenstock quality and wear. Cannot be beat.



5. These sandals looked the way i thought, but are way too wide for a typical female's foot. I ordered a woman's sandal but received what seemed to be a man's sandal. I had to use the last hole and if they stretch any, will be too wide for me to keep on my foot.

1. I have owned these sandals before and have just purchased a new pair - they last a long time. With my knee disabilities and foot problems, this footwear is about all I can move around in with any degree of comfort. They give my feet the support and life they need. I would recommend them to anyone with similar problems and have actually just ordered a second pair in black.



2. I have no idea how/if Betula differs from Birkenstock except in price. I've been wearing Birkenstocks for 15 years and I decided to try Betulas because they were "licensed" by Birkenstock, but less expensive. I've been very happy with their look, feel and quality and honestly, I really can't see the difference between the two. I will buy Betulas again.



3. These birki's look like the real thing, but on close inspection, I was very disappointed to see the 'made in China' on the inside. I would never have bought them knowing they were made in China!



4. I really can't wear anything except the shoes made by the parent company of Betula and I wasn't at all sure that these would measure up. THEY DO! My feet (and back) cannot tell the difference and I like paying a fraction of the price of the others! You will not be disappointed.



5. I have worn birkenstocks before and I love that the footbead conforms to your foot. However, the reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the material covering the footbed started to peel off on the back of the shoe (heel area). Otherwise, very happy with the comfort of the shoe.

1. I just received these so they still have to "break in". However, I have to say that there is good news/bad news in regard to the company that supplied them (Midwest Sports). First good news- very prompt delivery, arrived in excellent condition, and a great price. Bad news- the pretty insane return instructions. You can't return them if there not in the exact original condition. This includes a plastic tie binding the two clogs together and they must not have been worn. Ok, how does a person know if something fits if they can't try it on? Doesn't really make a lot of sense.



2. I ordered these shoes originally last year sometime. It was love at first wear so i was heart broken when my dog (well, puppy) decided to munch on and destroy one of the pair. After the Holidays I ordered myself another pair and was miserable the month I went without them.
   
   Make sure you get yourself teh right size so the shoes hugs your foot in its loving and oh so comfortable grip. If you have sweaty feet like I do wear them with socks for awhile. Doing thus helps keep your feet warm even on very cold days (by very cold I'm talking teens with lower wind chills) as well as helping to keep the shoe cleaner. I like to wait until spring to de-sock then wear them around and let my feet contour the inside of the shoe. When you do this the inside will slowly conform perfectly to your foot. So much so in fact that a friend tried to borrow my last pair to run out to her car only to find that they were incredibly uncomfortable to her. Meanwhile the same shoe was like a slipper or glove to me.
   
   Be patient with these shoes and you will most definitely be rewarded with comfort and a long lasting shoe. I've had Berk's last 10 years and you won't find a better deal then on Amazon.



3. These shoes look great and are comfortable, but the little buttons break and the strap comes apart. After searching the internet I bought a few spare buttons, but we had to pay almost as much as the shoes cost. If you gotta have them they're not too bad, otherwise you may want to keep looking.



4. These shoes are great looking, comfortable, and exactly what I was looking for. I recieved them quick with no problems. They cost a little more than what I was looking to spend, but worth it.



5. They are awesome and very comfortable, of course I bought them for only $19.95 from a Shoe Pavilion here in Oregon. I highly recommend these for those I want comfort day's, I also bought a Betula Quentin in black suede for the same price which is more a sandal, sure I will get years of use out of these.

1. Although this product came marked Birko it is the same as the original Birkenstocks I have had in the past. It is the same fine product.



2. These sandals arrived promply. They fit and feel great. The soles formed to my feet in a couple of days. They are an inexpensive way to buy Birkenstock-like products and are of the same quality. Don't be fooled by any bad reviews.



3. As always a great product from Betula, quick shipping I had shoes in hand only three days after order.



4. I bought Birkenstock sandals in the past and needed to replace them. The selection offered on Amazon.com was extensive, the price was very good, and delivery was prompt--only a few days wait. 1. These were purchased as a gift. The recipient loves the shoes and says they are very comfortable.



2. very comfy, like going barefoot. This is my first pair of birkenstocks and I know I will be living in these this summer. I plan on getting other styles as well.



3. You can never go wrong buying Birkenstock shoes. The comfort is not matched by any other shoe manufacturer. I will only buy the original Birkentstock.



4. This was a great purchase! I was initially worried it may not arrive on time; because I ordered it so close to graduation. However, it arrived quickly (before graduation). I was able to pick a style and color that fit her personality perfectly. I was so happy to be able to get her a great pair of sandals, at such an affordable price! 1. The order was promptly processed and I received the sandals as expected within a few days. However, the sandals were too small, so I returned them and ordered another pair. I returned the sandals about three weeks ago and have still not received a refund for the initial order.

   I received a very curteous response that the refund had been processed. My concern was addressed and all is well.



2. Comfortable once worn in. I had my last pair for 4 years so they fit me perfectly so it was kinda dissapointing to go through the process again



3. I don't understand what people see in these sandals. I ordered a pair and they were so big I couldn't keep them on. However, I kept them, and recently I have gained some weight - even in my feet. Also, I broke my toe a few days ago, so I thought I would try these sandals again. Well, they did feel good for the toe, but my right foot made such a sucking noise when I walked that I changed to another shoe. I didn't want everyone in the store looking at me because of the sucking noise. I just don't get it.



4. These sandals are very, very comfortable but beware of the narrowness and the break in period. They are not very comfortable at all right away, but after a few days everything finally settles in. Also, I have rather wide feet and they just barely fit, so if you have wide feet take that into consideration. I'd recommend going to a shoe store, trying them on and then buying them off Amazon if you can. It'll make absolutely sure they fit because I simply got lucky here.



5. My son was delighted with the sandals and so was I. The price was remarkable compared to retail. The sandals arrived quickly. It was a great experience. Thanks!
