2. My husband has always sworn by Gold Toe Socks, so I figured I'd try the women's version. They are your basic sock - but I'm impressed by the quality of the fabric and the overall elasticity. They seem to be passing the test of time - i.e. they are lasting well - but I've only had them a few months. I would highly recommend them. Gold Toe really is worth it. I'll stop making fun of my husband, now....



3. i love black socks, but they must be cotton. they also have to be thin. these socks are perfect and the price was even better.



4. The Gold toe anklets are adequate. I did not find them to be as nice to wear as the previous Gold Toe anklets that I have had. They are not as soft and warm feeling.

1. Very nice socks - plenty of cushion & wearing well so far. The real test will be this winter when I wear socks all the time.



2. These socks can be worn comfortably during all seasons except summer. They tend to keep the feet and ankles warm -- a good thing during the cooler months. They do tend to squeeze the ankles and lower legs a bit too tightly. This can prove irritating to anyone with even mild circulation concerns. Good cushioning and wicking, but should not be worn all day in athletic shoes as they tend to "heat up."

Never thought it would be sooo hard to find replacements for some RL socks that need replacing in the next year( or 2- quality pays off))- getting thinner but still great- these are the ONLY socks that I have found that compare in quality and comfort!! And CHEAP...I wear them up (Hate cuffs) and they stay UP..The light terry inside the ankles and foot are the perfect weight- warmer for winter and actually cooler for warm days..Can't ask more from a sock..buying More!



4. I can see why these socks get such high reviews. I love them! This was my first purchase, and I'm already ordering more. They're very, VERY comfortable -- sort of cushy. They hug your feet quite well without being too tight, and the turn-cuff stays where you put it. They don't ride down in your shoe, or down your leg either. Highly recommended.

1. I've been looking for black sport socks for a long time! Finally, a black comfortable, cushy sport sock of medium thickness. I'm completely satisfied.



2. These are the best socks ever made! They are of medium weight all cotton. They come in both Black and White (I wish many more colors). These sock also last a long time even with constant washing. And you are never itching the ribbed part if you know what I mean, because these socks are made with mostly cotton and a bit of nylon. They fit well in summer with any type of casual shoe or sneaker, and are great for boots in the fall, spring, and even winter. I love to wear them to sleep at night on those cold nights or just use them to walk around the house in with or without slippers. As you can see I love em!



3. I always buy different styles of Gold Toe socks because they are extremely comfortable and last a very long time. They are great.

1. My daughter plays Division I College Field Hockey. She played three sports in high school. Finding socks that lasted, didn't stretch out, washed well, and that she felt comfortable in was a challenge. I bought these socks for her, Christmas 2005. Today, July 8, 2006, she asked me where I got them because she likes them!
   
   I had to hunt down my purchase online and when I found it I thought it would be valuable to write this review. She has a very strict workout regiment and these socks have held up extemely well! I've bought more expensive socks for her, but these are the best!



2. These are very shoe liners that are perfect for those of us who have to wear shoes to work in the summer. As gold toes they are robust-I do not holes anytime soon. I highly recommend them.

1. One would think that a sock just keeps your feet warm, prevents them from stinking, or prevents blisters. Not true, this Gold Toe sock does this satisfactorily, however you could have much more. I recently purchased Wrightsocks and let me tell you, in the most basic terms: Cadillac comfort compared to Yugo ride quality.



2. Love the socks but the socks like to shed pilings all over my carpet, especially when my husband takes them off. Little pieces of wool all over the carpet. Have to vacuum every 3 days.



3. Good socks. Only issue is the calf size. I bought them thinking they were for XL guys and they are very tight on the calf-so not very comfortable or easy to get on.



4. Very comfortable and well made thick cotton socks...they're rugged. I plan on buying more of them. I'm in New England and I wear these socks all year.



5. I bought these for my husband and he really likes them. He wears size 15 shoe and says that these actually fit him quite well considering they are labeled size 10-13. He prefers gray socks to white and they are hard to find in his size. These are super soft and thick without being too thick. They wash well and feel like they'll last.

1. good quality but not as cushioned as I expected. also doesn't come as far up my calf as I expected. I'm looking for other socks.



2. Great socks, but they shrank a lot. I wear a size 5 shoe, so they still fit me, but if you have a larger shoe size they might be tight on you.



3. I purchased these along with a set of Champion crew socks. I ended up returning the Champions and keeping the Gold Toes. I found that the material used in the Champion socks was a little thinner and not as cushioned as the Gold Toe socks. The insides of the socks also felt somewhat rough, and I was concerned that they might get rougher with repeated washings. The Gold Toe socks seemed to be better reinforced in the toe area. But one thing I liked about the Champion socks over the Gold Toe socks was that they came up about an inch higher over my calf. So one star off for length. It was a hard decision about which ones to keep, but I've been really happy with the Gold Toes and they've held up very well.

Have always loved Gold Toe sox, however, never bought them because of living with my daughter & her habit of leaving sox wherever she took them off, thus, they ended up under the couch, under something so usually many one-sox pair was left. Now that I've moved out (yes, I left) from my adult sock-losing daughter, I splurged & bought 2 packs. Lovin' them. I'm on my feet most of the day at work - they're comfortable & warm. and both sox end up in my hamper at the end of the day!!!



5. I purchsed size 9-11 of this item [Gold Toe Women's 3-Pack Comfort Crew Athletic Sock in Black]. I wear a size 8 athletic shoe. The socks were just what I was looking for, and they fit OK, but snuggly. I always wash things before I wear them. After washing according to the directions, the socks were very tight, and one sock had come apart at the stiching where the heel portion is sewn to the rest of the sock...leaving a hole. That was only one flaw out of many socks, but you might be more satisfied if you purchase a slightly bigger size than you normally wear.

1. These socks are great. I've had a set of black Gold Toes for over 10 years now. They have not worn out yet. (Although the color has faded some).
   
   I was looking for athletic socks and decided to buy Gold Toes on-line, just because their formal socks were such high quality.
   
   Just wrote a review so the Gold Toe people will know their getting my extra business because of their quality.



2. The socks are warm in the winter, but not hot in the summer. They don't sag down and wear extremely well.



3. I was already familiar with the brand and was happy to see that it is still very good. Unfortunately, I ordered half dozen blak/half dozen blue but got only a dozen black.



4. Amazon leads customers to believe that this average sock is special priced at 3 for $18 -- they list the value as $18 to $72.
   Yet Gold Toe puts a list price for this 3-pack at $18. These are the same socks sold $7 to $9 at TJ Maxx and etc. Not a bad sock, but a bit expensive.



5. I bought this product after blowing through over 15 pairs of dress socks in 6 months. It had the highest review on amazon for what I was looking for, so I figured I'd give it a go. It couldn't be worse than what I had already had. Turns out, the material these are made out of is way more durable than that of Dockers and other competitors. I always wear two pairs of socks...a little obsessive compulsive, and these have held up far longer than any brand I've ever worn.

1. Its a sock, its made well. There's not much else to know about it. If you need dress socks, buy the damn socks already!



2. These hold up well - better than another brand that we paid more for at a major department store.



3. False advertising - said made in USA, but the socks I got are from China. I try to buy things made in USA. I can buy Chinese socks at WalMart for a lot less money.



4. Compared to my other Gold Toe socks these are too thin. In a single day of use the heel and a portion of the ball area were worn thin and appeared see-through like ladies' nylons. I'd look around for a thicker alternative that is at least part cotton.



5. I bought these for my husband. He says they stay up and were worth the price. He would have liked them just a bit thicker. But he likes them.

3. I guess it is my fault for not completely reading the description. My hubby can only wear 100% cotton socks...which I thought these were. Well, they also have synthetic fibers which make his feet stink. So again, I'm not 100% satisfied but that is really from my lack of reading the full description.



4. these are great black socks. they hold their color and elasticity, and they have some cusion. You could run 5 miles in these socks or go hiking.

2. This is an excellent pair of jeans for casual wear. No regrets about buying this one.



3. I got these for my boyfriend who is on the short side. :) Well, there aren't many washes available for short inseams. But the jeans fit well. He likes them a lot.
