1. I bought these rain boots for my grand daughter,age 5, and she just loves them. When they arrived, she had to put them on and try them out. Her mother had the hardest time keeping her out of them. She even wanted to wear them to school. Her mother had to discourage her as they were taking school pictures that day. The following day they did have a rain storm so the boots were used then. My granddaughter liked everything about her boots and would wear them rain or shine.



2. We own every size smaller than Kid 13.
   All purchased in traditional shops.
   This was the first pair of boots purchased online, and it was everithing I expected it to be! Thank you.



3. I purchased these great little boots for my grandson who is 2-1/2. We don't get rain too often so when it does rain it is a 'big deal'! He loves wearing them, even in the house, but with his fireman's rain coat also on, he is just too cute! I purchased the boots a bit large so he won't out grow them too fast and the straps on the top make it easy for him to put on himself. Now he can walk in all the puddles he can find!



4. Be careful when you order these boots. If you check the size charts, they are listed as being available in a youth size 6. They are not. What you will get, if you order the youth size 6 is a toddler size 6. We got my daughters hopes up for these boots and now we have to return them.



5. My son got these about a year ago and still loves them... They were purchased based on price, quality of reviews and the fact they're red like Superman's boots. He wore them a lot, but I was still very surprised when they opened up within a few weeks along the seam connecting the red boot to the black sole. Ripped right apart. We covered the holes with duct tape, but still, they do nothing to keep his feet dry in the rain. Now, I find it hard to consider purchasing any other boots from Western Chief, and my second son is ready for new pair of rain boots (since the red ones can't be handed down)... I feel I'll go with another brand.

1. Works on flats too! This product has been a lifesaver. I've developed Plantar Fasciitis, bunionettes, and severe tendonitis. I could no longer stand to wear the vast majority of my shoes, but these stretchers have enabled me to stretch my shoes to the needed width.



2. My wife kept buying new shoes because the old ones hurt her feet. The new ones also hurt her feet. She has used this stretcher, along with the stretcher spray, on several pairs of shoes and says they are now comfortable. You can only do one shoe at a time. It works fine on flat shoes. It appears to be sturdy. We have no problems with the shape of it. The metal pieces on the side can easily be removed and inserted into other holes to stretch a different part of the shoe.



3. It's probably a good product but it did not work for me. I should have kept my money and taken the shoes to a professional.



4. after widening the stretcher, it won't go back to it's original position, it was such a struggle to get it out of the shoe. my second product from the company. the first one was poorly rated too then someone from the company called me and asked me to remove my negative comment and in exchange would ship me a new product. gullible me, took out the comment, no product came. learned my lesson. stay away from this company.



5. I got this product to stretch a pair of Louboutin heels. These shoes are notorious for being all over the board with sizing. I bought a 5.5 because the 6 was a little too big and flipped off my feet when I walked. The 5.5 were great length-wise but didn't give much in the width. This product worked well at stretching the shoes just enough to fit me much better. The only thing is, it wouldn't fit very far into the shoe. So the tip of the toe (which is just slightly pointed) didn't get any stretch at all.
   
   I only stretched each shoe for about 2hrs. and that was all it needed. It's still a little tight towards the front of the shoe, but at least now I can stand and walk in them for hours without wanting to cry. Also, the shoes are 4.5 inches high and there was no problem.

1. This sock is a great fit, I bought them for working on hot rooftops in Texas. They keep my feet dry and comfortable and worth the extra cost to me.
   P.S. I have purchased Thorlo socks several times. Initially because of customer reviews, then twice more because they are so well made and comfortable. These would also make a great gift for a practical person.



2. I just bought these socks not to long ago for use in desert combat....
   I will just start off with the obvious, these socks are NOT HOT WEATHER SOCKS :). other than that they are very comfortable, I wear them around the room. I don't really understand the practicle use of these and why they cost as much as they do if you want your hiking to be comfortable, buy some shoe soles, instead of sweating your feet off. XD reasonable uses for these socks would be for casual wear and cold weather hiking.



3. These socks are very comfortable, with a nice cushion on the bottom and plenty of warmth for moderately cool weather. They hug your foot in several directions.



4. I bought these socks for my husband because he wears workshoes daily and his feet always sweat and then get cold. Also any other socks never seem to fit right. These are fitted for him perfectly, and the sweat is wicked away. I knew he would like them because I have been buying them for myself for running and everyday and would not buy anything else anymore. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone that likes warm dry feet, no blisters, and a heel that doesn't twist around to the top of your foot!



5. These socks are just awesome. I bought them for hiking and they were so good, that I now wear them every day to work. My feet are so comfortable. You get what you pay for.

1. My husband loves the over the calf socks and they are hard to find - so - I ordered these and he loves them! They have held up very well. Will be re-ordering when he needs more socks!



2. Bought these socks and received in a very timely manner. I have a hard time locating over the calf socks. My husband wears boots to work and likes over the calf socks and we can not find them anywhere anymore. Used to be that we could find them everywhere, but not anymore, everyone just sells the short ones.



3. I had searched everywhere for over the calf socks for my fiance to wear with boots. He's a horse trainer and spends HOURS in the saddle in boots, and your legs can really get rubbed if you don't have a good quality sock to wear under these conditions! The chintzy tube socks by the *major* brands found in most retail outlets are awful, and even worse, THOSE have almost become impossible to find these days. Thank goodness for these socks...my fiance loves them, and says they are the best socks he's ever worn. It may sound crazy to get so hyped up about socks, but they are a total essential for those who wear works boots of any sort for their jobs. I've repurchased, and will do so again, Please don't discontinue these!!



4. Good socks. I wear these with cowboy boots. I am a size 13 and these socks are large enough to fit just right. Since they stay up, I am not always having to pull them up. These socks are a medium thickness, just right for boots.



5. I have been unable to find "over-the-calf" socks that are not "tube" socks in any local store. I ordered a pack of these to try them and have been very pleased. They are very good quality and not too expensive.

   I bought these for my granddaughter Elise's 5th birthday and she absolutely loves them!! She was Dorothy for Halloween and even had Toto in the basket to go along with her costume. Now she is wearing them today for her Valentine's party at school. Great shoes at a great price!



2. It would be helpful if the seller advised how small and narrow the sizes run for Dorothy's Ruby Red Shoes. I ordered a size 12 for my daughter who wears a size 11 in all other shoes. She could barely get the Kidscostume brand shoe on her foot. They are a very stiff shoe with no flex or give. I am sorry I chose to order from this supplier. The shoes were too expensive to be sized so improperly.



3. I bought these for my 2 1/2 yr. old daughter for Christmas. What a hit!! Her eyes still light up at the sight of them. She dances in them and has not made any complaints about them hurting her feet. Excellent for a costume, and great for everyday "dress-up" play. Would definitely buy again.



4. I was a little worried these shoes would be too small or stiff.
   They are fabulous! I had made my daughter a pair of ruby slippers
   out of an old pair of mary jane shoes and some red sequines..
   (I wanted to see how long her Dorothy obsession would last before
   investing in the real deal)mine were a little less than perfect.
   She did love them but when these showed up today she put them on and
   without hesitation threw her old ones IN THE TRASH!
   They run (for us) almost a whole size small..they are narrow. There is
   a perfect amount of grow room though..not too big, not too small.
   We're very happy!



5. My 6 year old daughter was introduced to the Wizard of Oz Movie and absolutely fell in love with this Classic Movie! The Wizard of Oz Play came into town so I decided to take her to see it. Of course she had to dress up like Dorothy -- braided pig tails, gingham dress, blue socks and the infamous "Red Ruby Slippers". The shoes were an absolute hit! They came in the mail aproximately one week after ordering them and she did not take them off until I had to peel them off her feet at bed time. Before she could made it out of her bedroom the next morning they were back on her feet. They are the perfect shoes to complete the Dorothy costume. I agree with other reviews when they state to get the next size up. Also, they appeared a little stiff, but I worked them back and forth a couple times to "break them in" and they fit just fine! We were NOT disappointed with this purchase at all!!!!

1. I like black over-the-calf dress socks that go completely over my calf and almost up to my knee. These sock stay up and don't fall down like some other socks that I have ordered. I sometimes like to carry things in my socks, e.g. part of a newspaper, etc. I learned to do that while in the Marine Corps. These are better than the last socks that I ordered. When I need to order more socks, I will defintely go on Amazon and order these socks again.



2. My husband has worn otc socks for most of his life and has had problems with them either being too thin, falling down or just cheap quality. However, these are the best otc socks and he has not complained once about them. They stay up all day and are of great workmanship. I will definitely buy them again.



3. Was looking for over the calf boot socks that will stay up- these fit the bill and seem durable so far.



4. These are great ribbed OTC socks that fit well both on the foot and in dress shoes as well. They are a great weight , not too thin not too thick but look great with suit pants.

UNFORTUNATELY THEIR STILL THE BEST AVAILABLE SO I HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO KEEP THEM. WHEN I WAS A YOUNG MAN ALL THESE PRODUCTS WHERE MADE IN THE GOOD OLD USA, I JUST HOPE THAT SOMEDAY THEY WILL START MAKING THEM IN THIS COUNTRY AGAIN, BECAUSE THE QUALITY WAS SO MUCH BETTER.

3. I wear size 8 shoes and these socks are just too big. I never wear them.



4. Avoid these socks unless you like smelly, sweaty feet. They're 100 nylon and therefore they don't allow your feet to breath. Why did I buy them in the first place? Because I saw they were high rated and I neglected to read the details. Don't make the same mistake.
   
   The seller was excellent, they got them to me fast, and got me my refund fast as well.



5. I've ordered and appreciate several other versions of Gold Toe brand over-the-calf socks, including the (sadly discontinued) Auro series, black athletic socks, and the AquaFX socks (very nice). These Metropolitan socks, however, are awful in every situation I've tried. In cool & dry dress shoes they are slippery, and too thin to provide any cushion or abrasion resistance. In heavier shoes or when walking any distance, they become a sweaty mess because nylon is non-absorbent and provides no wicking or in-shoe airflow. I've never before had problems with my feet smelling bad, but after a week of these nylon disasters, my shoes started to smell because moisture-wise these socks are as good as going barefoot. Eeew. I threw them away, disinfected my shoes, and went back to a cotton blend.

1. One would think that a sock just keeps your feet warm, prevents them from stinking, or prevents blisters. Not true, this Gold Toe sock does this satisfactorily, however you could have much more. I recently purchased Wrightsocks and let me tell you, in the most basic terms: Cadillac comfort compared to Yugo ride quality.



2. Love the socks but the socks like to shed pilings all over my carpet, especially when my husband takes them off. Little pieces of wool all over the carpet. Have to vacuum every 3 days.



3. Good socks. Only issue is the calf size. I bought them thinking they were for XL guys and they are very tight on the calf-so not very comfortable or easy to get on.



4. Very comfortable and well made thick cotton socks...they're rugged. I plan on buying more of them. I'm in New England and I wear these socks all year.



5. I bought these for my husband and he really likes them. He wears size 15 shoe and says that these actually fit him quite well considering they are labeled size 10-13. He prefers gray socks to white and they are hard to find in his size. These are super soft and thick without being too thick. They wash well and feel like they'll last.
