5 comments about Remembering the Future: The Path to Recovering Intuition.
- This is the best book written to date relating to opening your intuition.
Colette's own true story in the early part of this book IS truly inspiring, her way with words are as angelic as she. This book will become your companion for Colette takes the reader on an incredible journey of sharing her experiences, and learning and a reawakening of your soul and your intuition with so much love,The exercises she provides to open your intuition presented here are incredibly life changing .I keep finding myself returning to this book...I went to an event in Boston,Mass a few weeks ago where Colette was the co-guest,she should have been the main headliner for she made the show shine..What a vibrant, energetic, loving caring woman..after the show I was afforded the generosity of having my book signed by her(1st in line)and she didn't rush me along like other authors do,she is very, very kind, loving, patient and a beautiful lady with a magnificent soul and her energy vibrates at such a high frequency, wonderfully beautiful energy..All heart and soul and then some!
She personalized my book signing,a rarity these days. This is a must have book for everyone,I cannot state this enough.Hay House please continue with more editions, for this book is of great importance for all.Thank you Colette for one of greatest times in my life.I look forward to more books from this author and I highly recommend her meditation cd-Journey through the Chakras<
- I was so disappointed with this book, and extremely disappointed that it got 5-star reviews. If I had known that this was just a woman's personal story and NOT a guide to recovering intuition, I never would have purchased it.
The author's personal story is 3/4 of the book. THREE QUARTERS. Parts were OK, a little was interesting, but come on, I did not buy this book to read about her troubled and sordid life. I've got my own life for that, lol. I wanted a book that would help me increase my own intuition. When I finally got past her story, all that was left was a list of very basic things we all need to do in life anyway, most of which I had already done. Not one thing in this book was helpful to me at all.
Disappointed, but I'll get over it. There are a few authors out there who actually write about increasing your intuition and psychic abilities. This woman doesn't happen to be one of them.
- I enjoyed reading Colette Baron-Reid's book. I would suggest it to any one who would like to find their path. Enjoy the humor, enjoy the insite.
- I love this book! When I was reading I felt as if I was sitting with Colette and talking face to face. I also found myself laughing out loud a number of times at her subtle humors throughout.
I finished the entire book and have not yet done the exercises with the 7 Secrets but I am now going back to do them... and very excited about what I have in store for myself!
- Another very good author from hay house (you can hear her via hay house radio on web).
Fun and very informative for those who would like to open the door to your other life.

4 comments about Advance Your Swagger: How to Use Manners, Confidence, and Style to Get Ahead.
- Before you read any further, put any preconceived notions that you have about Diddy's former personal assistant Fonzworth Bentley out of your mind. Fonzworth Bentley a.k.a. Derek Watkins' new book Advance Your Swagger is a modern etiquette book that everyone needs to have on their bookshelf. Some of the things you will learn in this book are simply priceless. Some things include: the art of tipping appropriately, how to dine at a fine restaurant, proper cell phone usage, email and text messaging guidelines, and 15 things every man and women should have in his or her closet. There are even pictured examples to go along with some of the tips (i.e. table settings) so that the reader can actually see what he's talking about. Bentley effortlessly teaches you the power of good old-fashioned manners that is often not taught in today's society. This book also includes "Bent Hints" to go along with some of the topics in the book. Advance Your Swagger is an etiquette book that everyone should own no matter how large or small your bank account.

- Derek a.k.a. "Fonzworth Bentley" has taken the time to share things that all civilized individuals should know and care about. In this particular period when so many artists are focusing on the obscure and unimportant, Derek manages to infuse a breath of fresh air into the hip-hop community. I am confident that he has put together a timeless piece of literature!
- Something for everyone to relate to in this short, yet informative book by Mr. Fonzworth Bentley. It's quite evident that he put a lot of time and detail into this product. Well polished for the reader. I'm impressed!
- This book was very informative and the pictures were clear. I was very pleased with the book.

5 comments about Beyond Positive Thinking: A No-Nonsense Formula for Getting the Results You Want.
- I read this book years ago, applied it's techniques, and my life changed forever. I tripled my income, bought my first home, easily got into the best physical shape of my life, and have been applying the techniques and lessons in here ever since.
Since that time, I've re-read the book over and over during the years. The truth in here is timeless and powerful. Forget all the other books out there, I'm telling you, this is the real deal.
If you only read one book this year or next year, read this one. Dr. Anthony - Thank You!
Michael Z, Author of The Wisdom of the Rooms "A Year of Weekly Reflections"
- This has been one of the most influential books I have ever read--hands down. Every page is filled with clear, practical information that you can begin implementing today. I appreciate his writing style: concise and no nonsense. You won't find needless fluff here! If you're looking for a resource that describes powerful ways of applying the Law of Attraction in your life BUY THIS BOOK!!!!
- This book has an interesting history. In 1973 it was created as a series of audio cassettes; in 1988 turned into a book and in 2004 rewritten with the original title restored, a good title. (Anthony's publishers have foisted a couple of dumb titles on his books.) In my view this book is golden, the Mt. Everest of self-help books. Don't be fooled by its briefness because Anthony makes every sentence count and there is more than 30 years of experience behind it, which gives it clarity. True, some people have sniffed out the spirituality grounding this book and reacted like Dracula to the cross. The fundamentalists also, the "if Adam and Eve were not real people then the whole Bible is a lie" type of thinkers, won't like it. But that's their loss. The spirituality gives the book depth, power and roots which all the "no sweat, get rich quick" books lack. There is just one problem. Most people will read this book and go on to the next self-help, success book. But those who read it again and again and diligently, patiently, put its teaching into practice may find a miracle in their life. (I regret that Anthony keeps such a low profile and his life very private, since you always want to know an author you admire. Still, its the message that counts, not the credentials. Those who want to see where the ideas in this book came from can go to Anthony's "Ultimate Secrets of Total Self-Confidence," a hype title but a good book.
- Ask yourself, how many times can you say the same thing, give it a new title, and market it well? Sure, there are always a few new spins about a subject that have never been presented in exactly the same way before. But, the concept has been shared so many times, by so many authors for well over a century, that you should ask yorself, "what is it going to take to get the message and implement it"? Nothing new here in my opinion. Is it valuable? Sure for someone just taking their first step in the direction of conscious living! Save you money and save a few trees, the Planet could use yor help.
- I'm usually not into books on the Law of Attraction. I found "The Secret" kind of hokey, and the metaphysical explanation of how it worked, I think took away from the basic message of the film.
However, I found Robert Anthony's explanation of the LOA very practical. He does veer into metaphysical-sounding language at times, but Beyond Positive Thinking is by far the best description of the whole "like attracts like" principle that I've heard. In the book, he also covers:
*The "glitch" that keeps most people from attracting success into their lives, and even causes them to sabotage themselves, and what you can do to fix the glitch in yourself.
*How to identify and clear out negative beliefs about money and financial success.
*How to set "goal intentions", as well as affirmations and visualizations to move you in the direction of the things you want in life.
It's a short read, but Dr. Anthony manages to cover a LOT of stuff in here. I'd highly recommend this book to anyone who's read or listened to other self-improvement programs, but finds themselves still struggling to change their circumstances. But, like anything else, you'll only see results with this one *if you use it*!

5 comments about Secrets of Six-Figure Women: Surprising Strategies to Up Your Earnings and Change Your Life.
- Even if you're already at $100k+, this is a great book for general career advice, and even financial planning. Liked it so much I bought two for friends. Reminds you to be assertive and have confidence and to ask for things; don't get left behind. Good insight into past decision making, too; prevent future mistakes.
- In Secrets of Six-Figure Women, Stanny takes you through a process of recognizing why so many women underearn and what we can do to earn what we are worth. From dealing with our fears about stepping out of our comfort zone and challenging longstanding beliefs to helping readers learn to develop a profit motive, this book will help you position yourself to prosper mentally, emotionally and physically.
On a personal note - as a female business owner, whenever I'm tempted to undercharge for my services or allow fear to impact my decisions, I re-read "Secrets of Six Figure Women," to help me stay on the six figure track and remind myself that I'm worth it.
Cassandra Mack, host of The No More Drama Hour of Power and author of, "The Single Mom's Little Book of Wisdom: 42 Tidbits of Wisdom To Help You Survive, Succeed and Stay Strong."
- I bought this book a few years ago and I've read it several times. Now I'm buying it for a friend who is having confidence issues at work. I want her to realize that she's worth more than what she's getting right now, and I believe this book will give her that extra confidence!
- This book made me recognize that I was an under earner and living in financial chaos. I am so glad that I read it because it helped me to make some positive changes in my life. I would recommend it for everyone.
- The "secrets" in this book are typical of the incomplete thinking that is common to so many books on success, as explained in "Hard Facts, Dangerous Half-Truths, and Total Nonsense" by J Pfeffer.
In a nutshell, the author reveals these mundane "secrets" which also ignore the millions who start their own businesses and fail but who also follow these strategies:
SECRET 1: Financial Success Is Possible in Almost Any Field, and
Lack of Education Doesn't Have to Hold You Back.
SECRET 2: Working Hard Doesn't Mean Working All the Time.
SECRET 3: Focus on Fulfilling Your Values Rather Than Financial Gain.
SECRET 4: Loving What You Do Is Much More Important
Than What You Do.
SECRET 5: Feel the Fear. Have the Doubts. Go for It Anyway.
SECRET 6: Think in Terms of Trade-offs, Not Sacrifices, to Find a Workable Equilibrium.
SECRET 7: Sometimes You Just Have to Shrug It Off and Have a Good Laugh.
SECRET 8: Appreciate Abundance.
SIX-FIGURE TRAITS
1. A profit motive. Money per se may not be their driving force, but six-figure women absolutely expect to be well compensated for their work. They want to make money. They feel good about making money. They enjoy what money gives them. Profit, to these women, has a positive ring.
2. Audacity. Every woman I interviewed came to a point where she had to step outside her comfort zone and do something she wasn't completely sure she could do. It was rarely an experience she relished, nor did she always succeed. But she worked up the moxie to make the effort.
3. Resilience. They all had the grit to get back up and keep going when they didn't succeed or when they encountered setbacks.
4. Encouragement. Six-figure women have tremendously nurturing relationships with one or more people who believe in them, support them, continually root for them, and sometimes prod them along. Some, but definitely not all, had encouraging parents. Every one has remarkable friendships. And for those in a committed relationship, a supportive husband or partner is invariably cited as essential to their success.
STRATEGIES FOR EARNING MORE
1. Declare your intention to make good money.
2. Let go of where you are (leave your job if you feel stuck)
3. Decide which game to play - "play it safe" or "gamble to win"
4. Jump in, ready or not.
5. Keep on truckin'.
6. Grab opportunities.
7. No excuses allowed.
8. Ignore naysayers.
9. Never personalize.

5 comments about Who Are You and What Do You Want?.
- Great book. This is the kind of resource you keep forever. Not just for yourself but for the people you love. If you have teenages or fiends who are struggling with who they want to be when they grow up, this book will help them find the path. It's good straight forward advise and it will resonate with young people. I loved it. Thanks!
- It gives you indepth answers in a way that's easy to understand and even easier to carry out. I found immediate results on taking control of my own agenda...and that was only after a few chapters. Definitely worth reading whether you need some guidance or if you're just looking for a few tips for tweaking things.
- I want to tell you how important "Who Are You and What Do You Want?" was to me. I own a successful commercial printing company and after 17 years I wanted to try something different. I started a new company last year and because of the lead talent in this new firm the prospects for quick success were high. But after nine months of slow progress, struggles, and having no real sense of where I should now direct this company, I pulled together my advisory board and we all started to ask some very tough questions. The consensus was that we needed to start over, regroup, and come up with a solid plan. Even though we had pressing deadlines and some current opportunities, we had to stop chasing random leads and spend time sharpening our saw.
But I didn't know how to sharpen a saw -- or if the saw was the problem. I needed help so I started to scan the current business books on Amazon and found this book. What got me to buy was the title, and the emphasis on learning how to plan your life and/or business around your personal strengths. I've read many business books over the years and some of the concepts in this book I'm familiar with -- but what is new is the way the worksheets and questionnaires combine a person's personality traits with "What Do You Want?" This was unique, clarifying, and amazing. They even have you do a time-line of your entire life -- all successes, failures, lost loves, etc... This was scary, fun, depressing, hopeful, melancholy, embarrassing, and the best. This exercise helps you identify patterns of mistakes and successes.
As of this writing, I'm three quarters of the way in finishing my business plan for my new company: Project time-lines, measurable goals, 90/10 rule, using my strengths and getting talented help for other jobs, etc... All these innovative ideas are being put to use in my new business.
The writers of this book have created a truly important book. I don't think I'm overstating this when I say this book probably saved my company, and maybe a lot more.
- Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3YSGCV6M12D3 Who Are You and What Do You Want?
- Don't purchase this book if you don't want to change your life in a truly meaningful way!
I purchased this book a couple of months before I was going to hear Mick speak at a conference and started reading it and doing the reflection questions. Doing these reflections compelled me to think about my life in a different way....it opened my eyes to new possibilities and new understanding of who I am and, it helped me gain a clearer understanding of my life. Then I heard Mick speak so passionately and eloquently at the conference and was further inspired to continue the journey.
The book gives you the tools and asks the really important questions about your life and where you are going. The last chapter gives instructions for doing a 48 hour personal retreat. I recently completed the personal retreat and it was a truly amazing experience. It has changed my life, it has helped me define what I really want, what is really important, what I am currently doing that is contradictory to my values, and I learned a lot more about my life, myself, my tendencies, my aspirations, and so much more!
"Who Are You and What Do You Want?" is an amazing and transformational book! I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone interested in assessing their life and making meaningful adjustments to it! This book will answer many questions, open up many new possibilities and it will change the rest of your life to the best of your life....guaranteed....if you don't agree, you can have your old life back!

5 comments about Unstoppable: 45 Powerful Stories of Perseverance and Triumph from People Just Like You.
- There are many touching stories of achievement over adversity and a number of helps and ideas for others who also wish to succeed. She shows that anyone who is willing to work hard and persevere can also succeed even people who come from poverty. Everyone should read this book.
- Sure fire access to stories of brilliant minds of today and yesterday. There is no stopping anyone of us to become unstoppable but "ourselves". Fact that many of us are guilty of. I had an opportunity to meet Cynthia last spring in LA and she is truly walking her talk. What an inspiring lady she is. This book will give you step-by-step guide to go for the gusto!
Jhet Torcelino van Ruyven
Author, The Tale Of Juliet - You Have The Power to Change Your Life
- This is a great book for various reasons and worth buying for each one.
If you are an individual who doesn't feel completely motivated in certain or any aspects of your life, this book will show you, through real life people just like you, that you can change yourself and accomplish things you perhaps previously thought impossible. If you are the type of person who is already a self-motivator, each of the stories will only provide more support from which to draw. These really are amazing and inspirational stories; they are fascinating from both a "self-help" perspective as well as just plain enjoyable to read.
Even though the book is 300+ pages long it is a fast read; each story takes just a few minutes to read. I found myself reading much more at one sitting than I typically would, primarily because I was so interested to hear what the next story was about!
The only somewhat annoying part of the book (to me, many of you will likely agree with the author) came somewhere in the middle. The author states that part of being unstoppable is to "Acknowledge that God is with you and nothing can defeat you" and to "Believe that you receive power from your Creator....and your faith will deepen." I've always been somewhat annoyed, while respectful of what they are trying to accomplish, by the people who knock on my door trying to get me to go to their church. Everyone is completely entitled to their own beliefs, and I personally come from the "church" of Darwin. The section about faith and God was slightly irritating to me, like the people who knock on my door. Other than that small detail, a fantastic book.
- This book is very inspiring and motivating. I was able to relate to the stories of the women entrepreneurs such as the one about Maria Elena Ibanez. She showed courage, persistance and wit as she conquered a male dominated industry.
- Book arrived timely and in excellant condition. I would definitely purchase from this person any time.

5 comments about The Art of Exceptional Living.
- I have read and listened to a number of programs of a similar variety over the years however this particular CD stands out for its enduring value. I originally picked this up about 9 years ago and the lessons have stayed with me.
Yes, the material is common sense, yes, there is nothing new here however, there is something unique in the delivery that over time somehow triggers behavior and thought in such a way as to enable a person to make decisions by employing some perspective towards their personal philosophy and the congruence of their thought and action, at least in my personal experience. In other words one should be more personally conscientious of ones behavior and exercise discretion with a view to cause and effect. While this is not an epiphany, the discipline itself is difficult to instill.
One of the most significant habits that I picked up from the lesssons, is posing a relapsing question concerning my career, "Don't ask what you're getting here, ask what you are becoming." This simple admonition, has enabled me to break the spell of being stuck in a career rut and advancing towards professional fulfillment. The other habit that I picked up is the use of a journal, which it turns out is a typical accessory to be found with all seriously successful people. And while carrying a notebook or writing in it will not by itself make you succesful, the way in which Rohn demonstrates its use will encourage a similar use, and I can attest to the value from that. Primarily, it will enable one to uncover their personal philosophy through active introspection, and change as necessary/desired.
Much of what is passed off as personal development is really emotional fast food. I attended a conference some months ago (client invitation) with a long list of motivational speakers, and I took many notes. The central theme in the end turned out to be that success was really a function of your self-esteem.
As I looked around at the stadium filled with fired-up sales people, "entrepreneurs" and other motivational spectators/tourists and caught their reactions, it dawned on me that these were the neediest people I had ever seen. Not only did they expect to be entertained, they wanted someone else to motivate them and then, be told by the most obliging motivator that they were great because they came to get motivated! What is my point? If you are looking for motivation outside of yourself, there is an automatic admission that you by yourself don't have it to begin with, and if this is the case, you have already lost. The reviewers here providing low ratings for this product on the basis of the speakers voice and repetition remind me of the audience of the aforementioned event, insufficiently entertained, they fault the speaker without consideration for the content. Grow up.
Back to the CD.
There are common sense lessons here that are not part of an academic curriculum or on-the-job training. The information contained in the CD comprise wisdom that only accomplished people will fully understand by way of thier own experience. Jim Rohn being one such individual (not a motivational speaker by trade) imparts his lessons learned for an audience that is genuinely interested to put forth the hard work while suspending their skepticism. It is only by these two conditions 1) Sincere Diligence and 2) Faith in oneself, that one can transcend the limitations of their ignorance and advance in life. Discipline comes down to practice, and there are many practices contained in these lectures, the rest is up to you.
- I loved the CD The Art of Exceptional Living, it's a really good teaching tool. If you like Jim Rohn, then you will benefit from listening to this CD.
- No matter who you want to talk about in the self improvement/motivation game, Jack Canfield, Zig Zigler, Andy Andrews, Brian Tracy, Anthony Robbins, Dale Carnegie, Stephen Covey, you name it, the message is pretty much the same. That is, some derivative of the timeless lessons of Napoleon Hill. The only real difference to speak of is in the delivery. The better the speaker delivers his message, the more they connect with the listener, the more you will glean from the message.
Jim Rohn is one of the best at delivering his message. I would rate him at the very top along with Andy Andrews, but I suppose everyone has certain things they relate well to. THE ART OF EXCEPTIONAL LIVING is one of my favorite CD's. I didn't realize until I starting writing this review that what I have is the 2-CD abridged version. There is also a 6-CD version.
Reading is my thing. I try to read a couple of book per week, but you can't always do that. This is a fantastic CD set to listen to on your way to the office. It seems like every time I listen to this on my way in, I get more done that day.
- Heard THE ART OF EXECPTIONAL LIVING, written and
read by Jim Rohn.
He is one of the nation's top motivational speakers . . . and
though I've heard other books by him, I never get tired of
his pragmatic approach . . . such as when he says, the
key to life is not doing exceptional things at all . . . just do
ordinary things exceptionally well.
Rohn bases much of what he advises on his own
personal experiences . . . this made it possible to relate
to what he had to say, in that he has had his share
of failures--most of which taught him along the way.
Though some of the material may seem basic, I found
myself nodding in agreement when I heard such valuable tidbits
of information as the following:
* Learn to work harder on your self than on your job.
* If you wish to be successful, study success. If you wish to be
happy, study success. If you wish to be wealthy, study wealth.
* You may not be able to do all you find out, but make sure
you find out all you can do.
* It's not what happens that determines your future, it's what you
do about it.
* Everybody has to be good at either of two things: Planting in
the spring or begging in the fall.
And, lastly, I smiled at many of Rohn's definitions--such as this one:
* Failure: A few errors in judgement, repeated every day.
- Essentially this is a compilation of highlights from a life Jim Rohn presentation. I REALLY liked it, not because there was anything novel... but because he provides solid examples with entertaining stories to back them up. I don't listen to the radio anymore, but use products like these to pump positive information into my mind, body and soul. It is light yet has an amazing impact on your attitude! Plus, it is not overly lengthy and you don't feel obligated to write anything down. Repeated passive (and ACTIVE!) listening goes a long way to absorbing these priceless lessons!

5 comments about The Success System That Never Fails.
- I seen W. Clement Stone referenced in other motivational books by Zig Ziglar, Earl Nightingale etc, but had never read any of his writings. I have found The Success System That Never Fails to be inspirational and very enjoyable reading. Mr. Stone wrote in a very conversational manner and consistently urges readers to put the ideas gleaned from his writings into action and do it now. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in trying to get the most out of life.
- When I was about 14 years old my dad a self made successful real estate broker in Inkster Michigan insisted I read this book. This book has been etched in my mind ever since. 43 years later, I've found an original copy of this book to give to my dad as a gift. That's how important this book is. If you do a you tube video search you can hear Stone in his own words give you the first 8 segments of the book. After hearing him, I know you'll want to buy this book. I like this book because 1) he gives you practical, useful stories of how he developed a success system which never failed for him in business. He gives concrete ideas on what to say and do to develop a success system. The most important thing you will take from this book is a perspective and behaviorally specific tips on how to become successful. What this book shows you is the key to your own wealth: you will learn that you need to track all of your activities, behaviors and goals and do a critical analysis, and apply that which works in every step of your processes. What you will discover combined with the principles he's sharing, is your own success system which never fails. Sometimes we forget when involved in our daily activities is the necessity to look at what works and discard what doesn't. We need to fine tune our approach to tasks and develop systems which can be duplicated over and over again. If you're one of those type of people who yearn to understand how "self help" works and how it can be applied in "your" life then this book is for you. There is no fluff; at the time Stone wrote this book I think people were less enamored with manipulation and more focused on helping people.
- It's a good book, but I mainly wanted the audio-book that came with it. It is a very poor recording, with the narrator seeming as if he thinks he is on a stage and feels the need to project. I felt as if I was being yelled at and was unable to listen to the recording for more than a few minutes.
- I highly recommend the AUDIO MP3 version of Success System That Never Fails The Success System That Never Fails
- The Success System That Never Fails is the golden key to a glittering future and I wanted it in my collection.

5 comments about The Law of Success: Using the Power of Spirit to Create Health, Prosperity, and Happiness.
- Paramhansa Yogananda shares the spiritual truth of success in the every day world.
The Laws of Success apply to whatever aspect of our lives we want to focus on,Wealth,Health,Happiness..the principles are the same.
A must read.
- LOCAL COLOR IN IT. Over 50 years ago the Hindu swami held talks and exhortations in sunny California, where vegetarianism is largely easier than near the North Pole among Eskimos and whales, to be sure. This is to say all his points or guidelines do not suit anybody - far from it. They are not perfectly universal, that is.
OTHER TIMES, OTHER CUSTOMS. Further, he adjusted to the minds of those who came to see and hear him; not a few of them were middle-class American ladies from back then. Times have changed, that's what I seek to tell ye. FAILED YOGANANDA PROJECTS. A rather revealing sidelight to me was the online information that some project Yogananda went heavily into and headed, failed, even though he spoke very friendly that his will was "indomitable" in other places. Included among his marred projects were a children's school or something similar where his headquarters is now, and a publishing scheme he invited to in his magazine. COMPARE LIFE AND TEACHINGS. And this is to say: a little comparison between what the guru said and what the guru failed in, may be beneficial too, not to all, but it should be to many. LOCAL APPLICATIONS LOST. Inspirational talks that don't take into account differing conditions and hard times, and hence do not fit in LOCALLY, may not be of any help to those of harsh conditions. ADDITIONAL MENTION. Besides, a brief booklet-book of this size does not include many of the hundreds and thousands of success principles you may find in "Better Management" books nowadays.
- I got this little book as a gift from a former student. I treasure this book.It resonates with the wisdom of a Master Soul. I have given a copy to each of my daughters because I think Yogananda sums up what we should seek in this life.
If you are searching for your life purpose start with this little book. Read it regularly. Let its wisdom sink deep into your consciousness. You will become a better person if you thoughfully read it.
- "The Law of Success" was written by a man who has realized God. Thus this book is filled with infinite wisdom and Truth. If one is to follow the author's advice with reverence and devotion, one will progress far in life. If one is to apply business practices by following the instructions in this book, his/her business will be a success. In short, this book is the stratosphere of all the self-help books in the market.
- A common man doesn't have the faintest idea of his potential. Mainly because we don't know who we are. That infinite knowledge, potential and wisdom lies right within us. Is what Sir. Yogananda is trying to tell us. He is showing us the way to unleash this power. Einstein did, Gandhi did, Martin Luther King did, Newton did and so did many others. The Apple used to fall from the tree even before Newton said it. Where did they pull it all out of? From within their deep inner self. So can you. There is much more to achieving success than the zillions of management books lying in every trash. So here it is just a pointer from a realized master. A fantastic book. Doesnt have to be a 5000 page book. Enjoy....

- As you read this book you find yourself growing with it.
20 simple lessons to follow. the overwall lesson is to learn to enjoy life .. and you will
- I got this book as a present for my husband for Christmas. We always try to keep some positive reading around. He enjoyed it very much and has since passed it along to a friend. It's a very cost-effective but impactful gift and a simple, useful read.
- I found this book to be both inspirational and educational.
Inspirational : I found myself connecting to Urban's life story and was inspired to do several of the excercises he recommends. The book is very well written and requires alot of introspection after reading. For every lesson, I found myself reading, re-reading, and re-re-reading. I read this with a pen in hand and jotted down thoughts as I read. After re-reading my thoughts on each section, I started to think deeply of what matters in my life and was inspired to think of my actions, thoughts, beliefs, etc. in a different way.
Educational: A great aspect of this book is the way Urban injects the works of so many other authors into his own. I found myself writing down the names and titles of many of Urban's cited works. His use of other's ideas to further explain and strenghten his own motivated me to further my knowledge base on the subject. For an author to actively tell the reader to go and look for other's insight only proves to me the author's good intentions and credibility.
Overall - I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for some help on the road of life. Urban does a great job explaining his 20 lessons, and he does an even better job in making the reader want to think about his or her own goals and rules of life.
- this is a book that everyone should read and students should be required to read before graduating from school. if we all followed these lessons, life would be a lot better for everyone.
- This is a book I'll recommend for everyone that wants to make it in life to read. It is a life changing book. I am bless tremendously by reading. I intend to buy more and give to my friends.
