5 comments about Notes from a Friend: A Quick and Simple Guide to Taking Control of Your Life.

  1. Exellent book,

    Recomended for anyone..
This is a book you'll read again and again..
its also a perfect introduction for anyone who hasnt hear from Tony.

    just buy it..

  2. Tony Robbins is unique. You cannot miss to read this book. It will change your life.

  3. This little book is all you need to change your life. It only has a small amount of the material from his other books but it is all you really need to get started. Keep it in the bathroom so everytime you sit down you can read a chapter. It is written so that anyone can understand and apply the principles. Next to the BIBLE it is the most valued book in my household.

  4. I realize referring to any book as an "oasis" sounds silly, but this particular book qualifies.

I bought my first self-help book forty-eight years ago, when I was still in grade school. In college I first minored in philosophy, and then in psychology. I've read everything from classic self-help psych books to the most outrageous metaphysical self-improvement techniques. Oh, I've read and tried it all.

I discovered Tony Robbins over twenty years ago, and really liked him. He seemed practical and made sense. After going through the Personal Power tape set three times, I lost track of Tony and got involved in other techniques. Last month I stumbled across his latest -- The Edge. While waiting for the CD set to be delivered, I read this book.

It's terrific. "Notes From A Friend" is the Cliff's Notes of Tony Robbins' philosophy, and is presented with his contageous enthusiam. It's a quick read (about an hour), but is packed with good advice and humor.

Of all I've devoured over the past forty-some years, Tony Robbins' material and the Life 101 series (now out of print) are simply the best. Like wise old friends.

  5. In a straight-forward approach with his contagious enthusiasm and lots of real life examples, Anthony Robbins's "Notes from a Friend: A Quick and Simple Guide to Taking Control of Your Life" shows his readers that we can change our life literally in a matter of moments, by tapping into the power that's inside each of us right now.

What if "unleash the power within us" is what we need to be successful? It sounds too simple, but many of us including myself, have no idea how powerful we truly are. This book effectively showed us that we can shape our destiny by shifting focus on solutions, instead of problems. Having a clear vision of what we want, with a sense of flexibility in pursuing our goals, and continuing to take massive, positive, constructive actions, we can empower and enrich our lives and others' lives around us in all aspects!

A concept from this book particularly caught my eyes; "the past doesn't matter. Whatever hasn't worked in the past has nothing to do with what you'll do today. What you do right now is what will shape your destiny." It reminded me of my favorite authors; Ariel and Shya Kane and their books Being Here: Modern Day Tales of Enlightenment and Working on Yourself Doesn't Work: A Book About Instantaneous Transformation. The Kanes presented the idea of "Living in the moments", showing "the current moment is all we have and living in the moment is all it takes to have our life transformed." It is so freeing to be able to let go of all the "I should have done this" and know that what happened in the past is irrelevant to now and now is all we have! We have absolutely everything we need right now to create our lives.

These three authors are magical. I highly recommend them to anyone that wants to have a magical life and to discover his and her brilliance!

2 comments about Chicken Soup for the Nurse's Soul: Second Dose: More Stories to Honor and Inspire Nurses (Chicken Soup for the Soul).
  1. Chicken Soup for the Nurse's Soul, a book which honestly depicts the many difficulties that come from being a nurse. Nursing in today's hospitals can become routine, mundane, over-worked by the long, difficult hours and high census, with little rewards--except for the patients and their families, who require gentle, loving care in a time of greatest need. Who are there on the front line save for the doctors and nurses? Should care-givers temporarily forget why they went into the field, the sweet stories inside the covers will motivate them as to why they underwent the trials of nursing school. The patient experiences that nurses leave the hospital with are probably what keeps nurses returning for another and another shift, when they reach down inside of themselves to lift both patient and families with care and, at times, inspiration. This book, a shining tribute to nursing, contains remarkable accounts of nursing found in few places!

  2. I purchased this book for my sister in law. She is studying to become a Registered Nurse. She told me that there are several good stories in the book.

5 comments about Where's Mom Now That I Need Her: Surviving Away from Home.
  1. I recieved this book as a highschool graduation gift in 1996. It was used often at my first apartment and after I got married. My mom taught me a lot about cooking, but as the title emplys she was a long distance call away. I am still using this book today. One of the most helpful sections Is an extensive list of substitutions for those times when you are 1/2 way through a recipe and are missing something. It has saved MANY quick trips to the store thus $$$. Also added bonus, sections on medical info and treatment, basic car and bicycle repair, as well as cleaning and laundry tips. There are also blank pages to add you're own receipes. I am buying this for my neice's highschool graduation and will add some of her favorite receipes of mine. What a great gift idea for any grad.

  2. I bought this book for my grown daughter, she loves that it is ring bound & is thrilled to have it. She had one that got loaned & never returned.

  3. Easy recipes, stain removal, and first aid are certainly three areas of importance to a lot of people, not just those who recently left home, so the title does itself a disservice by limiting the audience unnecessarily. The book was initially published in 1983 and the recipes show it. They do not represent popular food choices of the 21st century, and an update is needed. For example, there is a Vienna Macaroni Delight recipe that actually uses Vienna sausages - they come in a can! (I often wonder who buys those things when I see them in the store.) There are also casseroles made with mushroom soup, and a Tangy Spam Loaf recipe. Like I said, the book needs a serious update.
That said, if you like comfort food you may find these recipes helpful. And the stain removal hints and first aid guide could prove handy for those who are new to doing their own laundry and nursing themselves back to good health. 50 Ways to Leave Your Mother

  4. My son just moved away from home the first time and he said when he got it he sat down and read it from cover to cover for 2 hours. It was a great help to him

  5. I received this book when I graduated high school in 1995...and used it just last night! I am planning on purchasing several as Christmas presents this year for some of the young adults in our family. Come to think about it, this is a must for everyone, not just those just starting out on their own. I guess everyone will get one this year. Best book I ever received!

2 comments about Enjoy the Ride: How to Experience the True Joy of Life.
  1. Reading the book and after hearing Steve in person got me to thinking. The title says it all. In a rapid paced lifestyle we tend to lose sight of enjoying life and the ride we are on. After reading this and listening to Steve it becomes quickly clear how much stress we put on ourselves and just keep adding it on. He brings home the idea of enjoying our ride. It is a must read and if you have the chance GO SEE HIM!!! Better yet if you own a company bring him in to speak.

  2. I bought this book after seeing Steve Gilliland speak at our Staff development day. He is a phenomenal speaker and makes you laugh and cry at the same time. He really shows you how you need to just enjoy life and the experiences it brings. Don't be so critical of others and just "enjoy the ride". I bought this book for my husband who needed to hear something positive since his job has really been getting him down. This book is an easy read and I actually read it outloud on a car trip so that he would be able to benefit from the book along with me. If you ever get a chance to see Steve Gilliland speak GO!

5 comments about File...Don't Pile: A proven filing system for personal and professional use.
  1. This is my second copy of this book because I keep lending it out and asking my staff to read and follow it. This system allows family members and co-workers to find filed items easily because of a simple and sensible indexing.

  2. The book offers a sound methodology for indexing and filing paper documents. But I suppose it was written prior to the invention of the PC, so it lacks any reference to technology tools.

  3. I've tried various filing systems over the years. None of them were as easy to create, maintain and adapt as the "File... Don't Pile" method. Some reviewers are put off by the 1986 copyright date; however, I see this as testimony to its utility. For those who MUST find a use for their computers, the "File... Don't File" index could be implemented with a software spreadsheet. Keep in mind you must be ready to invest some of your time and effort to implement the system. If you're looking for a magic wand to organize your mess, you'll be disappointed. My advice is wait until your serious about getting organized then read "File... Don't Pile".

  4. If you have a system that allows you to quickly locate important papers, great. If you don't yet, I highly recommend that you consider the advice in Pat Dorff's "File...Don't Pile."

The major problem that I had before I read this book was that I was TOO GOOD at thinking up a variety of names for a particular topic to write on my file folder, and not good enough at remembering what the file name I had previously selected was, or IF I had ever created a file for that topic before. Since all my files were mixed together (paint swatches, banking files, fitness and other files all in the same file box), and the file tabs were often blocking one another, I had a terrible time reading and re-reading ALL the file tabs in the box just to see if I had a file set up already, or if I needed to make a new one. Often times, I would end up with more than one file for the same topic, with different names. "What was that file called... is it under "F" for finance, "B" for bank or "C" for Chase Manhattan?" I worked hard to file my papers, but did not function very well with a traditional alphabetical system. Then I saw "File...Don't Pile" at an office supply store, and found it so interesting, I promptly borrowed it from the library. That was over twelve years ago, and to the extent that I have implemented this system, I have found it to be extremely effective. Now, as a busy wife and homeschooling mom with six young children, it is a great thing to be able to file and locate our important papers quickly. I finally bought the book after moving two years ago, to inspire me to catch up on filing again after my file cabinets had been in storage for a couple of months.

Two years ago, when decorating our new home, and longing for an area rug that we didn't have money to purchase, I recalled that we had left a rug of the ideal size and color to sell on consignment in 1995. Because I had switched to the methods in "File...Don't Pile" prior to entering into the consignment agreement, I knew instantly which files to look in (personal business) and it took only a few seconds to read down the paper index to find "PB-122 Consignment Agreement-Rug." I checked in the file and sure enough, after moves to & from three different houses, there it was! How great it felt to be able to claim what was rightfully mine from the upscale rug dealer located in a snooty area without feeling like I had to convince anyone that it really was my rug.

I'd like to take a moment to answer some of the criticism from other reviewers. Regarding Julie Morgenstern's book, I read it after implementing Pat Dorff's methods, and don't even recall any section about filing. It does contain helpful advice, but the filing info. is just one of *many* topics in the book. Morgenstern's book encompasses organization in all of life, not just one area. Pat Dorff's book goes into much greater depth about filing.

As far as any kind of religious content, I simply don't recall any. So I suppose it could have been in there, and if I agreed with it, just forgot about it. But if it is in there, so what? Some people compartmentalize their lives, separating the "sacred" from the "secular." But to others, to compartmentalize would violate one's conscience because one would feel one has marginalized God, or one's most important values. Give me a topic, even one that seems "neutral," and I can tell you how my faith matters in relation to it in my life. An individual's beliefs definitely affect their approach to any subject, even if there are no overt references to religion in the work. Many newer books about organizing have ideas from Eastern religion woven through them, such as feng shui. It's nice to know an author's beliefs ahead of time, but even if the underlying beliefs of the author offend you, there still can be some valuable content.

To the people that say the book is outdated, it just isn't so! The advice is timeless. It's about filing PAPERS! Thus the name, "File...Don't Pile." One cannot "pile" computer files, just paper files. I had been using computers for years before this book was published in 1986, and before I first read it in the 1990's. I wasn't having trouble with organizing my computer files, just my paper files. I'm sure there is lots of good advice in computer-related books and on the internet for helping with organizing computer files. I think Peter Walsh might have tips in his book, "How to Organize (Just About) Everything." I've seen tips for computer organization on his website, in the "tip of the day" section. He probably has his own paper filing tips, too.

Though Dorff's book is primarily about filing papers, I have used the filing system to creatively organize my office supplies. When I worked outside the home in an office, I always had a desk with ample space to keep office supplies, and a roomy cabinet to go to to restock my desk. At home, I have not had so much storage or desk space. So I set up a file drawer with hanging folders, manila folders inside them, made up a paper index, and have kept things like extra pens, pencils, staples, envelopes, tape, string, etc. filed just like my papers. It has worked so well, for so many years, that I have recently started keeping sewing & needlework notions filed this way, too. Since I don't have room for a dedicated sewing area, and the notions were overflowing out of my sewing box, this has helped a lot.

I am very grateful to Pat Dorff for writing this excellent book. It is helping this oft-absentminded mom living in a swirl of young children to function well with the modern deluge of paper we all have to manage.

  5. Do you really love filing? Do you cherish every written word that makes it's way into your home? Do you have time to catalog and cross reference each paper? Yes? Then this book is for you!

Written in the 1980's, this book is very outdated. I am a professional organizer and I would never recommend this type of filing system to any of my clients. The people I work with need a quick, one-step way to keep track of their files. The File...Don't Pile system is definitely not it.

5 comments about I'm Grieving as Fast as I Can: How Young Widows and Widowers Can Cope and Heal.
  1. You are not alone and you will survive.

These two messages come through loud and clear in this excellent book. Much of the content is inspired by the author's interactions with her group for young widows and widowers, and it covers a lot of territory. For me, after losing my husband when I was 48, this was the only book that did not make me feel like I was "pretty much alone" in this situation... not 75 or 80 and widowed, but a relatively young woman with kids and hope for another several decades of living fully. The fact is -- it IS different to lose a spouse when you are younger, and this book honestly addresses a lot of the sad and scary issues you face during the first year or more -- all with the underlying theme that you can certainly come out of this tough time to live again.

  2. is different than being an older one. This book basically explains that any way you approach it, being widowed is difficult...and any way you can find helpful to cope is "okay" and within normal limits. It also addresses delayed grief responses, which I found particularily helpful. Most things that I have gone through, angry feelings etc. are somehow brought up. The anectdotes are good. The book does give ideas, for those that want them, on how to have outside influences help you deal with grieving. Although some parts of the book are not always relevant, one can pick and choose which sections to read without loosing continuity.
    KT

  3. I am a young widow and found this book to provide a great deal of comfort, understanding and support at a time when I very much needed it. It helped me to know that my thoughts and feelings were normal and felt by many men and women in my situation. I would recommend to any young widow/widower.

  4. Great book for young widows. Many books are aimed towards older widows. This book hits the nail right on hte head. A must read.

  5. So many of the quotes from this book matched my thoughts or actions. It validates that you are not going crazy, and are not the only one thinking in that way.

The book is aimed at people under 50, but I think the majority of the themes in the first half of the book would apply to any age.

The second half of the book had sections that applied to different groups (with children, gay, etc) and so was less useful for me, but I would definitely recommend this book, based on the first half alone.

5 comments about Master/slave Relations: Handbook of Theory and Practice (M/s Studies Books).
  1. Wow! An A to Z discussion of what goes into developing and maintaining a Leather Master/slave relationship. This guy clearly knows what he's talking about. Rubel begins by defining his terms, moves through self examination, touches on ways of finding a slave, describes how to begin such a relationship, moves through collars and contracts and ends up with a slightly irreverent section called: "How's it Going?" All in all, this book provides a comprehensive and fresh look at this form of relationship. You should also check out his companion book, Protocols for the Leather Slave. Judging from the covers, they are probably meant to be companion works.

  2. I consider this an expansion in many ways of the Leather Protocols book by Rubel. Here he gives more explicit examples of his own protocols and asks the reader to really consider what they might include and should include in their own should they chose the very, very rare path of an owner-slave or master-slave relationship. Personally my own protocols (yes, I do live this life, too) are not nearly as formal but these are very much the same considerations I felt were necessary to address when I began and as I continue in this life. Take the questions seriously don't just copy Rubel's ideas. Also don't plan on just jumping quickly into these relationships -- success requires planning and continuous reflection.

  3. A decade of M/s knowledge in one book

Both books Master/slave Relations: Handbook of Theory and Practice and
Protocol Handbook for the Leather Slave: Theory and Practice by Robert J. Rubel, PhD
Cover the same subject with a slightly different focus.

It amazes me that knowledge that took me years to learn is now available in 7 easy steps. The book can accelerate your journey into BDSM by a decade.

  4. Learn everything you need to know about dominant and submissive relationships in one explicit volume. You'll even learn how to find your own slave.

  5. Now that you have a slave, what do you do with him or her? I'll tell you right now that this book will not answer that question for you. And for what the introduction claims the book is, it could be a far better guide to how to write "a master manual." The problem is that I've read no other book like it, and am uncertain of where else to point the hopeful reader who doesn't have a leather or kink community available as a local resource. if one keeps the introduction in mind and questions oneself as to what is really, really important in their day-to-day life as is, one can get an idea of how to assign tasks, train and remind a slave or submissive in how to serve specific interests.

Regarding the seemingly endless section about the dinner parties: if you don't have dinner parties, mentally substitute something that you find too time consuming to do yourself, but that you'd love to have someone else take care of for you. Preparing for and attending an Society of Creative Anachronism event? Tending to your artistic space? Buying produce? Tending to your feet? Really, anything truly nitpicky that you want done a certain way -- that section shows you how to give step-by-step detail in writing that a slave or submissive can refer to as they're doing the task.

Other tasks have detail given their importance TO THE AUTHOR. If there are things that the dominant / owner / daddy/ master (hereby known as the grand poobah, because I'm getting sick of typing all that) wants to do themselves, then they either get to specify that those actions are off limits unless specifically mentioned, or don't list them at all. Cleaning? What can be touched, and what should be left alone? How often? Spring cleaning? Seasonal changes, visits, decorations, etc? Who drives? How is the opening of doors dealt with? Dietary preferences and restrictions? If taken with the required grain of salt mentioned in the introduction, this book could help a lot of new people go from having their submissives post about looking for ideas for their grand poobah to having details instructions and a schedule already prepared after the contract is signed and the (training / temporary) collar is locked on.

I wish that Rubel had taken the time to outline his manual as he was presenting his information, as I've read reviews and even talked to people within my community who took offense at his tone because he wasn't being clear on providing a roadmap rather than specific expectations of behavior for all slaves. Indeed, a section regarding the potentially rude behaviors of guests at the above mentioned dinner parties would have been much more clear had it been explained why detailing such rude behavior was necessary to include in the manual; I can make some intelligent guesses, but it seems as though the manual involves a lot of in-references between the author and his slave that should have either been explained or edited out completely. Sidebars, more asides in italics and so on could have gone a long way to keeping otherwise normally intelligent and perceptive people from reading what they were used to reading -- lists of expected behaviors -- rather than what was being presented -- an outline of how to generate the behaviors the dominant reading the book would want for their particular life.

If this book ever ends up going out of print, I hope that the author redesigns it in a second edition rather than simply allow another printing of the same format. When presented in the right way, this could end up being a very valuable workbook for a number of budding ... well, poobahs.

5 comments about Chop Wood, Carry Water.
  1. Just under 290 pages this is a classic that has just as much meaning in 2001 as it did the first time I read it 20 years ago. A book I cannot help buying, over and over when copies get lent out and the message keeps getting passed on.

15 Chapters. Beginnings; Learning; Intimate Realtionships; Sex; family; Work; Money; Play; Tuning the Body; Healing; Technology; The Earth; Social Action; Inner Guidance; Perils of the Path. Etc.

The subtitle actually explains better than anything what the book is all about. "A Guide to Finding Spiritual Fulfillment in Everyday Life". The Chop Wood Carry Water comes from a thousand year old Chinese Zen Master who spoke of the spiritual aspect of everyday things.

This reminded me (I am not a Christian) of reading where the wife of Billy Graham, Ruth Graham has a small plaque in her kitchen that says "Godly service done here daily" or something to that effect. This is what this book is all about. AAppreciating the simple joy of things like sex, gathering with community to make the earth healthier and fight injustice etc etc.

The Chop Wood Carry Water book has been helpful so often in reminding me that their is joy and honour in doing the laundry, cleaning, paying bills, bathing, cooking, and doing what many people sadly think is boring everyday needs.

In this day and age where people rush here and there and express a sense of loss, because they feel they need to always be doing something noticable, I think this book would be a great healing tool, in teaching people that doing the "chores" of life, can in fact be a relaxing and growth enhancing activity.

  2. I thought that this book was written by one person. This book is a compilation of essays, quotes, and articles by various authorities in religion (Buddhist in particular), psychology, and other how to thrive in the modern world experts. I'm not dismissing the book. I think it's a good collection. I was expecting a sharper focus. This is a good primer for someone just beginning to live as a mindful person today.

  3. This book pulls wisdom from many sources to cover topics across all aspects of life. It is a good book to have handy for difficult times or just a bad day.

  4. If you want a book that has interesting spiritual quotes, but doesn't take a specific stand on any of them...this is your book; it's really more of a "spiritual quote book" edited by a politically correct quorom of authors. It struck me that it was almost like I was sitting next to a hippie who has deeply studied religions, but thanks to all the pot they've smoked, can't really decipher what the point of the quotes was in the first place, and who lives his life by none of them.

Don't get me wrong, it has a lot of great quotes; however, if you have any inkling at all of what kind of spirituality you'd like to explore, you're better getting a more specific book. This book hits in such a broad way as to make it's chapters somewhat irrelevant in the final analysis. I understand that their goal is to cover what every major philosophical/religious idea is, but it seems kind of silly to have "modern humanist perspectives" next to Buddhist, Christian, Muslim, and Confucianist statements. It's basically a poorly designed text book that was written without analytical analysis.

I guess that a lot of the book strikes me as more of a "nobody's right" approach to spiritualism that is dangerously close to moral relativism. My feeling is that if you want to study what the great teachers, philosophers, and religious icons think, you're better off studying them specifically, as this book tries to please everyone, and likely pleases very few.

  5. This book is a wonderful guide to help in all areas of our lives.

5 comments about Four Pillars of a Man's Heart: Bringing Strength into Balance.
  1. This book was recommended by a friend and it turned out to be the best men's book I have ever read, organizing a man's life into the four roles he fills. Mr Weber also does a great job in
showing what happens when those pillars become unbalanced.
    Recommended for all men!

  2. Stu Weber paints a precise picture of biblical masculinity. This book is helping several of my friends and I grow as husbands, fathers and teachers.

  3. Our small group went through this book as a three month study. Overall, I felt that the author had good intentions and principles, but IMHO the book was poorly written and organized. On the positive side, Weber's section on the "King pillar" was for the most part quite strong and provided good application to me as a man.

However, the other pillars were not nearly as good. Some chapters seemed to be a string of sob stories without a particular point. I'm sure the author was attempting to stir up some sort of emotion, but the application and substance was sorely missing. Additionally, Weber tended to inject his political viewpoints into the book quite a bit. I'm very conservative by nature and even I thought he was a little heavy handed with the propaganda. Considering the glowing reviews on Amazon, I expected a little more from the book. I can't say that I recommend this book as group study, but it may be worthwhile to those who like his style.

  4. I cannot recommend this book more heartily. It transformed my husband from a bachelor who happened to have a wife and child to a godly, loving, servant leader of our home. This book drove my husband directly to the Word of God where he was challenged to rise to the calling of Biblical manhood. I, his wife, am reaping the benefits of this transformation, the recipient of his tender leadership, his protection and provision, his prayers and undying love.

  5. I believe this is a book which every young man should read,
awareness of these principles would strengthen every mans
response on how to be a competent father and husband in the family
    as well as his community.

5 comments about The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire: Harnessing the Infinite Power of Coincidence (Chopra, Deepak).
  1. In my continuing quest to unearth the best authors who impact the mind, body and spirit, Deepak Chopra has become a favorite. I received the CD set of The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire some time ago and zipped through all five CDs. I remember telling a friend that the CDs seem like Deepak is speaking Farsi (the national language of India, his home country). A few weeks ago I continued listening to the CDs and all of a sudden, ILLUMINATION! I can actually understand the powerful messages from the author, WOW!
As you focus, Chopra's message to the listener is consistent: Pay attention to the signals in your life to manifest your true destiny. The author provides basic guided meditations, unique prayers and stories interwoven into his narrative to inspire the listener to look within for all answers, for this is where GOD dwells.
This five-CD set requires acute attention, interaction, intention and action to reap the most benefits. Much work is required and the benefits gained will be immeasurable. So take the journey to "change the way you look at things - and the things you look at will change."

  2. Amazon editors: Please correct the review that says that Farsi is the national language of India -- it's not, it's a language of the territory of Iran (Persia) etc. India and Iran are quite different places. :-)

  3. This book is for everybody. I do not believe in absolute truth, but the truth that comes out of Chopra in this book points to absolutely every intricate piece of my life. As a psychotherapist, I suggest this as reading to almost all of my clients regardless of their beliefs. This book will enhance your perceptions of what is real and suggest to you the fact that there always has been room for "you" to "breathe."

  4. This is one of my most dog-earred books. Long before the so-called-secret came around, Dr. DeePak Chopra was writing about the science of vibrational levels, about the frequency of objects, about the power of thought and meditation. For many decades Dr. Chopra has lived the life, walked the talk and written the volumes from the most acceptable viewpoint of a scientist. He seems to be ahead of his times with a large portion of the planet certainly coming to the same focus. This book truly is an act of courage and an act of love. The reader will ponder life from a wonderfully fresh perspective, and will soon realize there is no such thing as coincidence. Coincidence is but a mirror we draw to us through our individual frequencies of the law of attraction. This book deserves far more stars than 5!

  5. This is a must buy for anyone who enjoys reading books with a slant towards "getting what you want", "law of attraction" types and "new age" or spiritual type self help books.

This book deals specifically with "coincidence", describing how many people don't realize there are reasons behind these synchronistic experiences. This book informs you how these events are not JUST coincidence, and how there are ways to fulfill your desires and create the life you want by paying attention and acting on them.

The writing is an easy comfortable read, is very much in-depth and there are suggested exercises for those who like to put action to what they read.

    ---*** THE BOTTOM LINE ***---
This is a must buy. I have read only four of this author's many books, but this is my favorite by far. I have re-read it many times.
This book is very in-depth and is just as applicable for a "newbie" to this genre or someone who has "read them all".

You will not be disappointed in any way if you get this book.
