2 comments about World's Greatest Dad Coupons.
- These coupons will make any dad happy. It is very cute and if you like jokes these coupons are for you.
- This would be a very nice gift to receive from your children on father's day, especially if the statements on the coupons are executed. For example, one has the text, "This coupon entitles Dad to control of the TV remote for an evening." Proving once again that it is more than the thought that counts when you receive gifts on father's day. On the last page, there is a solicitation for ideas for coupons in future issues, so all you children need to think of other good things you can do for dad.

2 comments about Nurturing the Shy Child: Practical Help for Raising Confident and Socially Skilled Kids and Teens.
- This book has been awesome in helping me to understand my child more and learn ways to help him over come his anxiety and fears. I would highly recommend this book!
- This was a good book, but wasn't really what I was looking for to help me understand my son. My son isn't really "shy", but sometimes struggles what to say to his peers or how to act in social settings. I think this book would be a good book for someone who truly does have a shy child. It just wasn't what I was looking for.

4 comments about Facing The Mirror With Cancer: A Guide To Using Makeup To Make A Difference.
- Cancer patients often experience not only chemotherapy hair loss, eyelash loss and even eyebrow loss, but also skin discoloration. I am so impressed by the power of this book to literally renew the spirit and courage of cancer patients and survivors. I highly recommend this book, everything you need to perk yourself up is in this book, (how to create eyebrows that look like the real thing, how to use camoflage to even out your skin discoloration, how to perk up tired eyes, it's all in this book)! The best part is the detailed instructions are so easy to follow! Order this book, it's amazing.
- This beautiful book is a life changing book for cancer survivors. In clear, simple chapters Lori Ovitz shows those coping with the dispiriting side effects of life saving cancer treatment how to restore and enhance their physical beauty. Ms. Ovitz's method is easy to use and I have found her suggestions have helped me long after my treatment was finished. This is a great makeup book for all phases of cancer treatment, for those suffering from aloepecia, and even those who are undergoing chemotherapy for rheumatoid arthritis. I highly recommend it.
- Who would ever think MAKE-UP could develop a greater sense of control?
I am not a BIG make-up girlie... in fact, at the tender age of 58, I wear blush, lip balm and lipstick. My daughter and granddaughter take at least 60 minutes each morning to make their faces street-ready. So when a good friend recommended "Facing the Mirror with Cancer" I resisted, until she explained the premise and how much confidence and healing was occurring as a result of using make-up. WOW! I was sold. This book demonstrates Lori Ovitz's compassion and determination to share healing through the art and application of make-up; at once, extraordinary and simplistic. The book offers excellent tips and how-tos for novices LIKE ME and maybe you, too. The photograhy is well-done, the entire "texture" inside mimicks the colors and feelings of make-up. It's a brilliant execution. The women & man featured are gorgeous, with and without make-up... their spirits shine through their cancer. Lori Ovitz, her make-up advice, teaching skills and LOVE have obviously made a big difference in the lives of hundreds, if not thousands of cancer patients, including children.
This is a very good-feeling book PLUS she donates 50% of her personal profits to cancer research.
What better way to help a noble cause and discover helpful tips for yourself? Whether about lips, eyes, brows, camouflage, powder, wigs, fingers & toes... for men, women and teens, she "covers" it all with pizazz, color and heart!

- I found this really helpful. I got it before I lost all my hair and was well prepared for when my eyebrows fell out and I got sort of dark circles under my eyes. I still refer to it from time to time, eventhough I have my routine set now.

2 comments about A Garden of Thoughts: My Affirmation Journal (Journals).
- Each page of this book contains an affirmation, along with space to write a few lines, and record the day, date and time of your entry. You can either use the space to write your thoughts on the affirmation itself, or use it to jot a few lines about anything on your mind.
The affirmations themselves are inspiring and thought-provoking. Physically, the book is small enough to fit easily into a large purse or knapsack, and its hard cover is beautifully decorated. The spiral binding also makes it easy to write in for lefties. The only drawback that I can see is that the space allowed for filling in the day, date and time is a bit small for those of us with larger handwriting. If you're working with affirmations and self-esteem issues, this is a great tool.
- At Wal-Mart, this book costs only $11.86
