5 comments about Bonnie's Household Organizer: The Essential Guide for Getting Control of Your Home.
- I just loved this book. I would give it ten stars if I could. It was so full of down to earth and helpful advice and very entertaining to read. There were hints on clutter clearing and how to tackle a home that has got a bit out of control. Lists of daily jobs and what Bonnie calls minimum maintenance were a great help. If you find it hard to keep on top of the house and it seems forever in a cluttered mess (like mine) this is the book for you.
- I bought this book at a homeschool conference about 15 years ago. It literally changed my life. I have fond memories of sitting down at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee and my "Bonnie" book. Bonnie became like a friend, offering great advice and encouragement. Her writing style is warm and uplifting. She made me want to succeed at organizing my home. I learned how to organize my kitchen cabinets, and ever since my mom has recommended ME to organize the kitchen when someone in the family moves! And I was the family "messy!" Her suggestion on implementing Minimum Maintenance made the difference for me in keeping my house clean and presentable. I highly recommend this book for anyone who struggles as I did with managing all the STUFF/CHORES in her home.
- This book had some good ideas if it were 1970. It's very outdated. I'm sure it was a good book when it was still current, but in 2006, it's just a a waste of time and money.
- This book was just okay. There was some good information but not very much that was new or not available from other sources. I love household and organization books, so I enjoyed it, but many readers might be looking for something more current.
- While I liked McCullough's encouraging tone and some of her ideas, this book needs to be revised for modern times. Written 27 years ago, some examples like the to do item "type ditto" and how a friend saved worktime by getting an extra-long cord on her phone are so outdated that they provided a few unintended laughs. A better purchase might be the Messie books by Sandra Felton, or for household management, the Flylady book.

5 comments about Tyra's Beauty Inside & Out.
- As a model myself, I found Tyra's book to be informative and fun at the same time. I suggest it to all women, especially young girls just getting into the "make-up scene".
- I fell in love with this book since its release and highly recommend it. Sure, it contains tons of photos of Tyra, but this is the very nature of her work, people... HELLOOOOO. And it's obvious this book was going to focus on her by its title, it isn't called 'YOUR Beauty, Inside Out', now is it? Anyways, looking at her never gets boring because the pics are all varying in style and purpose. If you're a fan of Tyra or appreciate sexy-yet-wholesome beauty & personality then you'll cherish this book. It's one-parts autobiography, one-parts pictorial, and 1-parts self-improvement advice, the works mixed together! I get a strong feeling that this was the intention of Banks & Blake and I think it makes for a unique and fun reading experience.
- This book covers everything from pre-teen awkwardness to dating responsibly. Tyra has done an excellent job not only talking the talk but walking the walk! This book should be released and for all to enjoy.
- I really enjoyed reading this book. It's more than just looking good. Yes, there is a ton of information on skin care, makeup, body care, etc, but Ms. Banks also includes self-esteem, sex, generosity, self-respect, smoking, alcohol, and more.
I expected a more frivolous book from a supermodel, but this is real quality. Tyra seems like someone you would know. She has such a friendly, sweet attitude reflected in her writing and is so humble.
This book is filled with pictures, lots of color, and is fun to read. Great book!
- I love this book i remember seeing it when i was like in the 7th grade an she had that picture of her in the book with no make up on an even pointed out flaws an zoomed in on it an then showed what make up does to her to cover it up for a model to do that with the rumours you hear bout how cut throat they are an how they like to pretend there perfect i started an all new respect for Ms.Tyra Banks, this book goes everywhere from Make-Up tips to relationships an sex its a good book for those girls who arent sure how to cope with break ups to how to apply eyeshadow correctly an do evening an day looks i would suggest this to ALL women of ALL ages especially to those who have teenagers an young adults like myself who are still trying to figure out who they are an also know there not alone as far as doing crazy things when it comes to guys. Tyra also gives personal stories of her experiences of broken hearts an even her stories on sex, (Also she has A lot of pictures of her modeling pics an of her family an just home photos.

5 comments about Inner Talk for Peace of Mind (The Fear-Less Series).
- Audio quality is poor on this cd. There are pleny good affirmations but most of cd is music to put you to sleep
- I love Susan Jeffers! Her book Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway has helped me clarify what is important to me, who I want to be in the world, and the kind of life I want to live. Her works are so congruent with my own personal journey toward wholeness. I recommend that you read the book first. If it resonates with you, then you'll want her three Inner Talk CDs. I listen to Inner Talk for a Confident Day and Inner Talk for Peace of Mind almost every day. They help me achieve inward peace and remind me of what is truly important in my life. I admit that I have only listened to Inner Talk for a Love that Works a few times because it's not totally relevant to my life at the moment, but it too is very good. I could go on and on about her books and CDs. I recommend her works for anybody desiring joy, peace, love, and fulfillment in their life. She is practical, uplifting, and hugely encouraging.
- This CD is great. I use it before I go to sleep as it covers all of the issues that usually stop me from getting to sleep. Very relaxing it does what it says in the title! Highly recommended although you may have to forgive the sound quality at times but the content is good.
- This is my favorite of the series although I would prefer music that is played on real instruments.
- I have read a few of Dr. Jeffers books. They are wonderful. I have one of them on tape so I could listen to it on the way to and from work. What an easy way to "get help."
This tape is fabulous. I listen to it when I go to sleep. It is narrated, as always, by Dr. Jeffers. The background music, too, is soothing to the ear and body which enhances the "session" with Dr. Jeffers. Her manner and voice are soothing to mind and spirit. I recommend it highly for a pleasant, simple and surefire way toward "inner peace."

3 comments about When Pleasing You Is Killing Me.
- I bought the workbook by the same title by Les Carter. It is by far the best resource I've ever encountered. If you are a person who is always going the extra mile to rescue people from negative emotions - this is for you. If in your time of need you expect the same compassion - and you never receive it - this is for you. If you have been frustrated & guilty all your life - this is for you. If you're tired of people taking advantage of you, disrespecting you, and you're left holding the bag so to speak - this is for you! Especially if you're a Christian - it will show you how to get your needs met and still be a giver. What a concept! THIS IS FOR YOU!
- this book was very heplful in explaining why people pleasers do what they do and how it gets started(childhood experiences for one). there are several questionaires to answer to discover where you are with people pleasing. There were lots of great tips on how to respond to the aggressive and difficult people in your life. I would definitely recommend this book to overcoming people pleasing.
- Found this book very helpful in recognizing people pleasing behavior in myself. The examples were as if I were sitting in his office explaining my own situations. The writing style is concise, to the point and easy to read. A must read for anybody interested in a user friendly self help book to assist in assertiveness training.

5 comments about Overcoming the Rating Game: Beyond Self-Love, Beyond Self-Esteem.
- The book is insightful, and well-written. I reread it any time I'm feeling a bit depressed or down. Outlines the basic princliples of rational-emotive therapy.
- I now believe that most emotional disturbance is a result of this thing called "self-esteem/worth/" and their evil twin "ego". Social fears can be attributed to the idea that we will somehow be magically diminished in some way as human beings if people disapprove of us. This book is a great start in demolishing that foolish idea. Another great book that covers this subject is "Overcoming the Myth of Self-Worth" by Richard Franklin.
- This is the best book I have ever read on Self-esteem.The essense of the book is not how to develop self-esteem but how to get rid of it and develop self-acceptance.Paul Hauck gives numerous examples on ill effects of self-rating.He points out self-esteem is sickness. But Hauck doesn't mean to devalue the value of achievement and enormous benefits it begets. He urges us to develop achievement confidence instead of self-confidence.This book can eliminate the inferiority and superiority complex we all suffer from.Excellent book built on REBT framework which can change one's life for good
- This is a very informative book on self rating. After reading this you'll know a great deal about self acceptance, self love and self esteem. The book is quite short, but that's a good thing, because the author doesn't beat around the bush, he goes straight for the meat in as few words as possible. The one thing that disappointed me a little was the lack of exercises. Throughout the entire text he presented on exercise, saying that that is all you need, but in my opinion, a few more would be nice. As a result, I'm thinking about getting a few more self-esteem books by other authors as supplement.
- I found the following messages of the author especially valuable:
1. We are succeeding always as long as we are learning.
2. Doing badly is a valuable experience for learning.
3. Doing things correctly tells us what we want to repeat.
4. After much discipline and hard work, our performance will come closer to our potential ability, and this process is defined as success.
So in stead of measuring myself against others, I should measure my performance against my potential.

5 comments about The Re-Education of the Female.
- This book isn't about women. It's about how men view women, and for that it's priceless. Moore doesn't varnish things, and he's funny. I give it five stars not because he knows anything about females (he doesn't), but because he knows a LOT about males. If you want to peek under the hood of the brains of quite a few men (not all men, but a certain type), this book will give you that glimpse. Scary? Well, yeah, but true. Kudos to the author for just being honest.
- Women need this book like a fish needs a bicycle.
I'd rather be single than be 're-educated' into being an obedient bimbo. The kind of man I would catch if I moulded myself into a woman like that is not the kind of man I would ever WANT to catch, so why bother?
The guy who wrote this book has never been married and says he's never truly been in love (which is something his girlfriend must love hearing!), so what makes him think he's qualified to write a book like this? He's a computer expert...and how many I.T. guys do you know who are experts on women? I could count the ones I know of on the Venus de Milo's fingers. The writer knows a bit about what some men, men like himself, are like. But not all men. And he knows nothing about women.
This is the kind of book you laugh at, and don't take seriously. If you're looking for a genuine self-help book, keep looking, unless you believe the road to happiness should involve becoming a doormat, and that your partner's happiness is far more important than your own. And if you're a bit on the plump side, definitely avoid reading this book, unless you're into torturing yourself and think your self-esteem could use some lowering.
- The author has never been married, admits to "never having found true love", and is the absentee father of an 11-year-old from a "previous relationship". Sounds to me like he's never emotionally developed beyond adolescence to me, and no woman would actually WANT to be married to him, and I wouldn't blame them a bit.
Ladies, don't buy this book, unless you like being angry, or unless you're looking for something to laugh at. Even then, purchase it from a used book store (there should be plenty of them used, assuming previous purchasers don't burn the thing outright), so the author doesn't see a single penny from the purchase, because he doesn't deserve to be rewarded for being a misogynist.
Would have rated this with zero stars, if the review system here would allow me to do so.
- Keeeping a man is easy, don't laugh don't scarf just read it. Basically, make your man feel like a king if you want to be treated like royalty.
- I'll start first by saying, I truly wanted to like this book. Really. However, my intellect is well beyond it and my self-respect just wasn't having it...
The back cover warns of a no-holds barred approach, but it does not fully prepare you for what lies ahead. Ladies, be forewarned - this is NOT a mini-manual for your teenage girls. A male's perspective on relationships is imperative, however, it depends on the male. If you're looking for solid advice that brings results, this is not the book. The author belittle us, at best. Dante Moore offers nothing more than what many women already know (but maybe don't want to face), and his delivery is offered in the most degrading way. Maybe Mr. Moore should have kept his mother, grandmother, sisters or any female loved one in mind before writing this garbage.
If you're looking for good, straight up relational advice, try someone along the lines of Hill Harper or Finesse. These brothers will give it to you straight while maintaining the decency and respect women so need to embrace. Final words: you may not understand men right now, but you are beautiful, smart, and to be treasured -- seek advice from a man who knows that.

5 comments about Crone's Book of Charms & Spells.
- Let me begin by saying that I am on my third copy of this book. Here we are presented with a wonderful collection of herbs, recipes, talismans, folk wisdom, and ceremony. There are simple, yet beautiful illustrations, and great inscriptions. This book, along with The Crones Book of Words are reminiscent of something you might have found in Aunt Jet and Aunt Francis's attic. Enjoy!
- If you know anything about wicca and pagan practice, some of these spells are dangerous and not something you should be using. yes, it has a disclamer in the start...but why print them if they are not to be used. I leave with you the wiccan law "And HARM YE NONE, do ye what will". It's a known and important part of our practice that we do not harm. Many believe that what you do will come back on you, threefold. so just be careful.
- Equaling the previous book in the series, Crone's Book Of Magical Words, in beauty "Crones Book of Charms and Spells" is truly worth reading.
- This book isn't for immediate beginner's at all!! It is more directed to the advanced practitioner who can understand the hidden references or in fact, for anyone who has an interest in the occult and poetic literature. I can see how this well-wriiten book can speak to people with diverse interests in this genre. I am a practicing witch myself and I must say it's not really a 'wiccan' book; as it states it is a book of charms and spells which can be incorporated into everyday life (to a certain degree). The text is written in very olde English, but I think this is the plan of the author Valerie Worth. As it states in the prefix, she didn't write the book so the rituals could be practiced as such, but so that they could be read and respected in the honour of tradition. Moreover, I think she directed this to the reader more than the practitioner, so one can use their imagination and interpret the old ways for themselves. I, myself, would never practice from this book as there are so mny simpler ways nowadays to use witchcraft to benefit oneself. I might use one of the amulets for self-power, but would never directly spell-craft. All in all, Valerie Worth portrays traditon in a poetic sense and delivers stories as well as practices. This is a great read whatever your beliefs, in order to get into the heads of many diverse practitioners of Valerie's time and how the culture was understood and used throughout the spiritual year.
- I liked it a lot!!!! i ordered both of them and i liked them although they have some stuff you would never use its a great book to buy and of course ill do some spells that comes from it.

5 comments about Dear God, What's Happening to Us?: Halting Eons of Manipulation.
- The sense of bewilderment and confusion many of LG's readers experience by the contrast between the latter books and her most popular book, EMYLIW, simply rests in the lack of recognition by her readers that the key concepts and ideas in the former were simply not hers. In my opinion, having read EMYLIW I was saddened to discover that virtually the entire book was a plagiarism of the Abraham-Hicks material (an opinion I also share regarding The Secret). She attests to this herself in a rather patronizing acknowledgement of the Hickses in the forward to the book. Her readiness to excuse herself from the ethics of ownership -- like her violation of the principle of anonymity espoused in Alcoholics Anonymous as she did in her first book -- is not realized by most of her readership. Her last two books, alas, are at least primarily her stuff. I would encourage her saddened and disappointed fans to read and listen to the Abraham-Hicks books and CDs which still unwaveringly, and authenticly, apply the Law of Attraction to our everyday life experiences.
- If you believe that you are the master of your destiny, then Do Not read this book, or do so with a light hearted touch. I found it disturbing and the exact opposite of her last book "Excuse me your life is waiting" which I loved. It seems that her problem started when doctors could not diagnose her illness and she became frustrated and went to a homeopathic practitioner who said that while she was not diabetic her organs were responding as a diabetic. So this "seer" put her on a diabetic diet and she got better. Wow, thats all the proof I need. I know when I drink a lot of pop or eat junk food I don't feel good as when it is not part of my diet, but I never would have thought that dark forces were to blame and not my diet. Sad to say but this sounds like dark fiction and is depressing to read.
- Lynn may or may not have 'plagiarized' the Hicks material--to be honest, if you rummage through the bookshop, any new age author with more than one title is shamelessly ripping off SOMEONE or SOME tradition. I mean, Doreen Virtue's made a frickin' INDUSTRY of pillaging world religions to cram into her latest 'oracle deck' (yours for only $[...]). Therefore I'm not going to single out Grabhorn as a naughty naughty plagiarist. Not when my local Borders has two whole shelves of stuff by Dyer, Chopra, McGraw, etc. Heck, look at the Hickses. They seem to be cranking out books at an unholy pace, none of them, as far as I can tell, saying anything much different than the first one.
Anyway, most of this book is fairly repackaged--hell the History Channel's showing something next week about the Mayan calendar predicting the end of the world in 2012. Most religions including Christianity and Shi'a Islam are apocalyptic, both consider the End of the World to be Nigh. So is Lynn nuts because she's just saying what everyone else is saying? Or is she 'nuts' because the whole idea of a larger unfolding of history really cramps the style of the True Believer in the Law of Attraction? Or is it just that Lynn fell into the 'write another book, grab another buck' school so common to new age writers? The Manichean good vs evil thing's been around for a while, too. But you know what it most reminds me of? Why nobody I know of and respect in the metaphysical world will go near a Ouija board. Seriously. Reading this and Earth Two, it sounds like a serious case of taking on a few uninvited astral passengers.
Maybe it's just me: I enjoyed _Excuse Me_ so much that I might just be making excuses to explain 'dear god, what happened to Lynn Grabhorn?' But if she is pulling this info out of the ether, and not shielding herself, well, she becomes a cautionary tale to channelers. If she did plagiarize all her stuff, she becomes a cautionary tale in Karma.
My personal jury's out on the 'end of the world' stuff. It just seems too hip and trendy for me. Nothing sells a book like "do this or you're not gonna make it!" fear pitches and I resist things that prey upon/play upon fear. This book, in that light, is nothing but a fear magnet, and if you remember your Law of Attraction 101, the more we dwell on it, the more likely it will come to pass--think about THAT before you pick up a copy of this book.
- WOW! Such a different work for Lynn. I can't explain what I was thinking the first time I read this book. Awe, amazement, confusion. I just kept reading wondering what in the world she was going to say next. Once I hit the last page I started over.
During the second reading I could fous on what she was saying rather than wondering what in the world was going to be on the next page. It was amazing information and I feel each person who reads her book will gain some personal insight. Take what resonates with you and leave the rest.
I read it a third time so I can share with others as closely as possible the intended content. I read about 5 books every month (self help type books) and this is the ONLY book I have ever read 3 times.
I can honestly say this is one of my all time favorite books.
Happy reading and blessings! : )
- I just came across this forum as I was searching for information about how author Lynn Grabhorn died (she authored the bestselling: "Excuse me: Your Life Is Waiting" a terrific book by Hampton Roads Publishing). While I agree her second book, "Dear God, what's happening to us?" sounded kooky I know for a fact there are lots of beings/entities/spirits out there that are nasty and want to mess with us. Still this is not a reason to go off the deep end or into fear. I think that's what happened to her in the midst of her physical problems. (I am the author of YOU ARE PSYCHIC: THE ART OF CLAIRVOYANT READING AND HEALING and my newest book EXTRAORDINARY PSYCHIC: PROVEN TECHNIQUES TO MASTER YOUR NATURAL PSYCHIC ABILTIES will be out this August, thanks to Llewellyn Publishing). Anyway, I've been experiencing various beings for years that can be quite nasty. Not that they cause me too many problems - well not that I know of - mostly they get to us through fear, attacking us through angry people and through creating some pain. Mostly I've seen them in the course of my work with others. The reason I am writing in this forum now is because unfortunately I can't write to Lynn herself, although it would be nice to think she is aware of my concerns and respect for her wherever she is, I haven't taken the time to really tune into her instead I felt compelled to write. I was finding her book, "Dear God" a bit strange but when she began mentioning her experiences of what happened during her public speaking experiences, I got the chills because it sounded exactly like what happened when I went to Poland to speak to the largest group I addressed to date: about 350 people earlier this year with my good friend Francine. Each night at my apartment in Warsaw, as I meditated or tried to get to sleep, I would see these demonic type faces that I rarely have seen before - they were definitely trying to disturb me, which didn't work because I've got some pretty good tools although I have to say I got little sleep for the next month and I don't think you could blame it all on jet lag. As soon as I arrived there I felt that they were however attacking us through the organizers of the event, who were very dishonest and acted quite strangely the entire time. I really felt these people and these beings were using me to get to lots of people who were really trying so hard to get on their spiritual path, and while I felt good that I was there to help the people, I also felt like the organizers and the various beings around were using me and my co teacher to get to these poor people. I can't explain it logically but it reminded me of what David Icke has talked about when he discussed the reptilians. In order to let go of our stress, we actually shot a little comedic video the first night in our tiny hotel room about how we were being used by the reptilians to get to the people of Poland (sorry, I erased it). We were only half joking. It was a very creepy feeling - Here we were with the best of intentions, under contract, knowing hundreds of people who have no other access to learning how to heal themselves had spent a lot of money to be there (most of which I saw only a small portion of) and while I couldn't say at all how they were being adversely impacted by the organizers and the beings, something felt very wrong. It was all rather confusing as the energy of Warsaw, a city that was completely demolished in world War II and who lost about 4 million people to the Nazi's is depressing and negative in and of itself - although I have to say the translators who helped us were wonderful, the people in our workshops were so kind and loving - very different from how people act out on the streets in general - and the malls had great clothes - gotta love those European fashions, I've been shopping at Target and Wall mart for way too long!). However, again, I was not expecting to experience the number of visions of beings that were really speaking abusely to me when I'd close my eyes, or the exhaustion I fell under as a result of being there. This is where I felt I may have been experiencing what Lynn was describing in her book, "Dear God: What's happening to us". It also took me about 2 months after returning home to get my energy back, despite using techniques that usually help me although I am happy to say I am feeling great now. I am posting this notice because I want people to know that while Lynn obviously had some problems and her information/story behind where these beings came from may likely not be accurate although some of it makes sense, and while I think she had a number of fears that got the best of her besides the fact she was suffering from cancer - that there is something to what she is saying about the spirits out there. Spirits are like people, some are great and some are just plain awful. Wish that wasn't the case but it is. I think a huge mistake Lynn Grabhorn made has to do with becoming obsessed and reliant on channeled sources outside herself - she obviously wasn't connected in with her own intuition/spirit/soul/inner voice/heart what ever you want to call it or she wouldn't have needed to consult with a pendulum or channelers every five minutes. I've been a clairvoyant for over 12 years and am the first one to testify what a clairvoyant reading can do for someone when they are feeling stuck or confused, but readings should be done sparingly and infrequently, what's more important is for people to meditate and go within themselves so they can hear and experience the truth from within, then a little help from a psychic friend to compliment that can actually help him/her rise to the next level in their growth because it helps them get through barriers they can't see themselves. As far as those nasty critters out there that feed off our negative emotions (and sexual energy) as Lynn proclaimed in her second book they do exist for sure. Finally, there are people who have critized her and asked how could an author with a popular book end up so negative and troubled? I think she provides the answer in "Dear God: What's happening to us" when she explains that she wrote her first book while she was discovering and experiencing the effectiveness of the techniques she was writing about. She found they worked, but she didn't have enough time to incorporate all the material into her life. As anyone whose been on the path of spiritual transformation, just when you've got it all figured out, life has a way of throwing you a curve ball, or tossing a few mountains in your way that you then have to figure out how to transverse using new tools. Sure the old ones may help a lot but there is suddenly a whole new learning process to go through. Also as anyone whose ever been in intense physical pain can tell you - when the pain is there it's next to impossible to be positive and meditate. I think that's why sometimes nasty beings or people will put us in physical pain, then we are just too miserable to do the things we know really works. It's a catch 22 situation for sure. I in order to understand what happened to Lynn, we need to consider that she didn't start out as a spiritual teacher and wasn't really used to dealing with people's emotions. For those of us who are experienced with this, who even have training or years of experience, it can be really overwhelming when we gain more clients, or students or attention from people needing help. Imagine someone who really had no experience at all - she'd be invited to speak before many desperate people and not have the slightest idea how to deal with their personal problems and the stress of their demands and their energy. Take a 100 needy people who are totally deaf and mute and the energy from their thoughts, even positive thoughts can have a strong impact or adverse effect on the person who is the focus of their energy. (that's why I admire people like James Van Pragg and really any person who can go on stage in front of thousands of people and still remain balanced and healthy and do what they love to do). I think these factors played as much a role as that of whatever beings might have been tormenting her. Lynn was a recovering alcoholic and voiced the fact that she had trouble taking risks in her life and the stress of it all was too much for her. I wish I had had a chance to talk to her so that I could have helped her in some way. There are many techniques that could have helped her and that would have complimented her ideas in her first book. I hope her work serves as an example that it is possible to manifest your dreams with the right combination of thoughts and actions and emotions and that there are so many factors, such as spirits, self esteem, and the ability to cope with our dreams when we do manifest them. I don't think she was really ready for all the good things she manifested in her life along with publishing her book. She did it too quickly without the necessary tools. Isn't this what happens to so many rock starts and movie stars? I will be addressing some of this in my third book that I should be working on now instead of writing to this forum! Some people are going to think I am as kooky as they think Lynn was I suppose. Maybe I am. But I'd be proud to share any category with her. People need to realize that authors and spiritual teachers are not perfect - far from it, that the problem isn't us falling from pedestals, but rather that lots of people want to put us there, and then get upset, angry or disillusioned when we can't possibly remain there for too long. The real problem is then they are comparing themselves to us and thinking they can never be or get to where we are when the fact is, they don't really have as far to climb as they think, in fact it may not at all even be they have to improve themselves one bit to catch up, but merely REALIZE they are there already. Given Lynn supposedly died of cancer shortly after publishing her second book, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the source of her intense pain that led up to her writing it. As to whether some alien type beings had a hand in creating her cancer, I believe based on readings I've done with others this is possible, but again, here I am writing not as a psychic, since I haven't tuned into her personal situation (my to do list is already too long - didn't even get around to checking in to see who won American Idol - although I do suspect it will be David Archuletta love both the Davids!). Rather I write about Lynn as a concerned fan who knows there may be something to this along with the other factors I've suggested as well. Lets send her and her spirit a blessing as well as one to all the nasty beings out there who don't have the ability to love and will never know the joys that we have experienced as spirits in bodies who can experience the full range of emotions.
Wishing you all that your heart desires most, Debra Lynne Katz.

- Well, I popped in the CD and started listening to it this morning. I thought that it would be another one of Dyer's great seminars or books on CD. All it is, is Dyer saying one inspirational statement after another after another after another. At first I thought it was kind of meaningless because it's stuff that I know already, and then also started thinking that there are so many sayings on this CD that I would never remember all of them. What good is it??! I was a little disappointed.
Well, about 20 minutes into listening to it, I found myself talking back at the CD like "oh yeah, you know it..." and "that's a great saying." And I found that I was really enjoying it. I listened to all of the sayings that I could until I got to work, but here's the thing. I didn't remember all of them. BUT, I did remember the ones that I needed to remember. It's so great how it worked.
Sidestepping - This morning I asked myself "OK, what can I do to control the ego today?". I told myself that I would do my stretches and exercises before going into work (which is something that I've never done in my entire life by the way) and then do a 4 lapper today on lunch around a small pond near my work (works out to be a little over a mile). I walked outside to go to work and saw that it was raining though... uh oh... After I got to work and lunchtime came, I heard my ego telling me, "It's raining. You don't need to go walking in the rain?! You can go tomorrow. It's not even that much exercise... walking... too little work to get wet over." This is what I was telling myself. I got up, grabbed my plastic poncho and went for my walk. I was the only one out there. People were looking at me funny. I didn't care one bit! I was having a blast!
The ego isn't a bad thing though. It's there to do what it thinks is best. It's trying to keep me safe. I reassure to my ego that everything will be fine no matter what happens and what risks I take. I did that today on my walk, but what made my walk today so great were the little sayings that Dyer said on his CD. It lifted me up to a new level. I've been seeking lately and this CD really pushed me to the next level. I know that on that walk that I changed the color of my aura - permanently. I've become a higher energy person - permanently. Just because of this wonderful, wet, spiritual, and godlike walk.
Get yourself a copy of this CD. Pop it in whenever you need to Stay on the Path.
- Mr. Dyer's book and the companion CD are a life saving for me. I was going through a difficult relationship. I read the bood and listened to the CD over and over for about 2 months, while I was driving, before sleeping, walking,& playing golf. I was able to refocus on what matter most in my life (my children and my path). As a result, I am much more at peace and much happier now. I strongly recommend to anyone who is looking for a way to find their own path to happiness.
- I just love Wayne Dyer and this book is just another wonderful book added to my collection.
Thank You,

- This audio book is very powerful. I know it has played a dramatic part in my life... real quick, I was out one day, about to go back to a partner who was frequently drinking to much... this day, I was about to pull my hair out, ready to go into a huge tirad of blankety, blanks, and words that I can't write here...%$&*, kind of at my wits end... As he was very drunk again......
well I just got this audio program, and put it on my car recorder.... I pulled over in amazement at what I heard... I listened for over 30 minutes.... I went back to my house with another whole new prospective, one of calm, love, peace and a willingness to understand what was going on though my partners head, and to really listen to him... For me It was a 100 percent turn around a much better approach.....
I highly recommend this program to help anyone...
- Or, you may prefer to tear out the pages that are not worthwhile; Dyer has truly written some excellent books. However, the ones you want to read are those he published in the 80's and 90's. There's a lot of sage wisdom to be found in those. But this? Please. I've written this old man off mainly because he's discarded common sense for religious nonsense, and that's really disappointing. May I share one of the bits of "insight" to be found in this book? Here: "LIVE the Ten Commandments". Say WHAT?!? Once I read that, I nearly cracked up laughing. What delusion. Having said that, there are some good things in the book, but it's not worth buying for them. Again, look to his earlier works for his best material, when he was mentally sound and sharp.
