- You owe it to yourself to read this book! It's the old "be all that you can be" in an easy to read, totally applicable book. Brilliant insights with real-life examples to bring her point home. Thank you Sam Horn!!!
- I highly recommend this book to anyone who needs a pick-me-up. Great suggestions for counselors, self-help enthusiasts, and readers of all interest groups. Kudos to the author!

- What else can I say about this man? He is simply amazing. He can relate to anyone. Except when he delves into Eastern thought which is totally beyond me. Probably not his fault, but my progression.
- I was so disappointed in this CD, I found it hard to believe that Wayne
Dyer would let that be published, I was unable to hear much of it, and the background was loud, also he sounded as though he was far away from the mike, and that someone in the audiance must have recorded it. I surely hope I never experience anything like this again. I don't know if it was any good, since I was unable to hear most of it.

5 comments about If We Ever Break Up, This Is My Book.
- The book was really cute and made me laugh, even though I was in a crapy 'break up' mood. The book is a collection of the author's funny monograms and pictures. I would suggest going to barnes and noble or another book store to flip through it...it's the kind of book you only look through once, so it's almost not worth spending $10, $15 dollars on. Buying it used is also a good idea.
- Yeah, really funny -- (me too) stumbled upon this faboulous little book totally by accident, what a pleasant surprise. Flipping through the pages I became hypnotized by artwork and originality. Put down the book, could not stop thinking about it and bought it online, weeks later. Strikes a deep visceral chord---resonates. Recommended reading: one page each day to totally process simplistic and honest beauty. Deals with dark subject matter in very funny way. Like a childrens book for grown-ups.
One of those mandatory comics. Go figure!!!
- What a STUPID book. I was looking for a helpful book that could help me deal with the end of a meaningful relationship. I was expecting a practical guide with some humor to lighten the load. Instead this hardcover book looks like something that was left behind at the bar. random sayings and stick figures scribbled on cocktail napkins. There is nothing that is useful to people who are really struggling to move on. I ended up returning the book to purchase one that takes relationships and loss seriously.
- I purchased this book forever ago at an Urban Outfitters which of course is where all the cool books can be found, in between the retro cord hiphuggers and the bullet shaped martini shaker and snoopy snocone machine set. To be perfectly honest, this is a bathroom book and I say this with all sincerity and offer the comment as truly high-praise. For me, the bathroom is the sanctuary where you can sit in peace for a moment, bodily function may or may not be included, and just collect yourself for a bit, or as I have come to say to those who love and know me best, sit a spell. In those precious moments, where you just don't care who found the immunmity idol or whether the old fart in the retirement home in ocala county will have his primary voted counted by the DNC, reading a few snippets from this book, gives you a chuckle and reminds us all of how completely stupid we are collectively in relationships and how all of it is just so painfully laughable. It's the sympathetic and humorous irony when you see that guy or gal in the bar holding the beer in their left hand tilt the bottle til some of the contents spill out because they decided to check their watch for the time and forgot that the bottle has a little opening at the top that allows the fluid inside to obey the laws of gravity. It's a book that let's you say....hehe...yeah, I've been there....that totally sucked. When you can say that and still chuckle, then you know that a - things were never all that bad and b - this is an author who got it right. Read this book. And for god's sake, wash your hands.
- This book was published by "Simon Spotlight Entertainment." Very appropriate, because it is somewhat entertaining. For anyone still in the suffering stage, however, look elsewhere if you need more than a smile or chuckle. On the other hand, if you are basically reconciled to your loss, or to the hopelessness of whatever you are hanging onto, this is a quick, entertaining read that will serve as a brief distraction, if nothing else.

5 comments about Living in the Light: A Guide To Personal And Planetary Transformation.
- I was just going through my old books and about to take the two copies I have of this book to the used book store but I reread it and am keeping it and giving the other to a friend.
Too bad that there wasn't all the hoopla of the movie "The Secret" going on back when she wrote this. She was way ahead of everyone else.
My favorite chapters are on the "Tyrant and Rebel" and the "Victim and Rescuer".
The more personal growth work I do and the more aware I become and work on my own issues of tyrant, rebel, victim and rescuer, the more I see that there is some of each in everyone whether they want to realize it or not!
I read the 1986 edition and am tempted to get the newer one to see if it's changed much.
- .
The lessons in the book, as I see them, are following your intuition; learning who you really are, and the aspects of your personality that are holding you back.
Self-knowledge is vital to success in life and this book helps you begin to learn who you are, truly; Not who you think you are.
- Shakti Gawain really knows what she's doing when she wites about the changing conciousness. She breaks down every aspect of life and shows you a different perspective and philosophy on how to approach different situations you may encounter. She teaches you how to be balanced and in tune with the universe and connecting to your higher being. This book along with may of her other books has changed my life.
- I have not read the book yet but I will say it come promptly and in very good condition. I would definitely purchase from this seller again. Thanks!
- I am very pleased with my order. The book were in excellent condition and was swiftly delivered.
Thanks!

2 comments about Overcoming Low Self-Esteem.
- This book gets to the basic points quickly and provides excellent examples. The easy-to-understand and use worksheets are also very helpful. It gently, yet firmly, guides one through the process of understanding the reasons behind low self esteem and the process to getting better. Great for any level of understanding of basic psychology.
- I am not in the field of psychology, but I did buy this as a self help book. You need to stay focused and think about what the author is saying, but there is no psycho-babble. Clearly written by someone who knows a lot about her subject. When it becomes apparent how these beliefs/opinions came into your thinking, you begin to learn how to chip away at them on your own.You do not need to have taken any courses in psychology to get the maximum benefit from this book.In my opinion.

3 comments about I Can Do It Cards, Self-Esteem (I Can Do It Cards).
- Each card is 2-sided with colorful illustrations & large text for easy reading. Louise Hay's introduction to the cards starts out with a great affirmation that I wish she'd put on a card "It doesn't matter what other people say or do. What matters is how I choose to react and what I choose to believe about myself."
She actually provides many thought provoking affirmations that are uplifting instead of all self-esteem based. Her wonderful affirmation cards for forgiveness actually are more about self-esteem. Some of my favorite affirmations are: "I have the self-esteem, power, and confidence to move forward in life with ease." "My consciousness is filled with healthy, positive, loving thoughts that reflect themselves in my experience." "For every problem that I may create, I am confident that I can find a solution." "Life supports me in every possible way." "Today, no person, place or thing can irritate or annoy me. I choose to be at peace." This gives you an idea of what these affirmation cards are like. Hope you'll enjoy them as much as I am!
- Louise Hay has again captured the essence of the simple, yet profound, thoughts that aid in the most basic of self-esteem lessons for our minds. The illustrations are beautiful. The packaging is wonderfully compact and designed to facilitate display, if that is the desired usage of the cards. "My consciousness is filled with healthy, positive, loving thoughts that reflect themselves in my experience." A person who is walking a dog is followed by an angel whose outstretched hand nearly touches her. The suggestion of peace and constancy is depicted in predominantly warm hues as the image seems to flow - just like the thought it depicts. Lovely little gems!
- This is a good way to practice affirmation cards. And these cards work. Next thing you know, you're hooked on them. I'm going to buy a set for the girl next door who has agoraphobia. Perhaps they will help.
