1. All in all I have to say I found this book a little bit disappointing. It felt like I was merely re-reading ideas I've seen countless times before, presented in a way, that made them look new. If you're new to NLP and want to see some appications of NLP to business it might be worthwhile, but there are much better NLP sales books out there.



2. As you can read on the cover, this book translates NLP-concepts in a language directed to persons who need to do some selling. If you have some NLP training and some sales experience, this book won't teach you many new things. If you don't have both, or you are looking how to apply NLP skills is a sales context, this book can give you some directions. Part 4 ("Sales management") some stuff that does not directly relate to sales itself, but it is useful if you are a salesperson, or if you want to be come one.    He has captured the essens of writing so that you can easy learn the ways of sucess in writing.

   The book covers the strategy that the best writers in fiction use.

   Do you want to be succesful in writing buy this book. It will help you understand the thinking process in writing in a new easy way.

   Business, reports, fiction etc.. It dosen't matter what you write about - YOU will benefit from this book.

   The book gives you a strategy that you can apply in every writing context.




2. This book is fantastic. It gives you the structure and then all you have to do is fill in the content. Think it sounds easier then it probably is? If you know what you want to write about and the effect you want to have on your audience, this is going to help you get it.



3. I was SO much hoping that a book on WRITING with NLP would be well written. And actually, the glossary-like Preface on Suppositions of NLP gives a very good summary. But these writers are going to help us become ENGAGING writers when they present concepts and strategies in such a tedious, unmotivating manner?

   Oh well, having paid for the book I struggled through to find a few good suggestions for writers block, etc - but they were nothing that any good writer-motivational volume doesn't have.

   Another annoyance: the description seemed to promise that the authors had done a systematic study of methods of Master Writers... I was hoping for something like the descriptions of how Grinder & Bandler studied Master Therapists in developing NLP. No such luck.

   Now I look back at the "Editorial Reviews" above: there is a glowing one from Dr. Michael Hall. Have you ever tried to read one of HIS books? Oh well, I guess as long as Crown House can keep churning out "NLP Master Practitioners" and "NLP Trainers" to write positive reviews that their publishing house prints, optimists like me we periodically throw money at one.

   If you buy this book, do so in the spirit of helping a starving publisher; if you buy it with the hope of enhancing your writing, you shall be very frustrated and disappointed.

1. To be brief, the Four Realities map nicely to Jung's four Archetypes. This ties in with some of the work I have done with Psycho-Drama and Logos Therapy.

1. This book is a good resource for anyone curious about what NLP is and some of the tools available in NLP. Very descriptive and ease to read.



2. Loaded with great information on NLP. A must have for anyone looking to increase their knowledge of NLP.



3. A slim book, yet packed with basic information about NLP - neurolinguistic programming. A reader needn't be overly familiar with psychology to easily follow the logistics of this 'How To' book.
   
   On the down-side, some of the information was handled far too lightly to be of much practical use unless a reader went on to pursue NLP at a higher, more in-depth level. The phrase "easier said than done" occurred to me more than once, not due to unsound NLP principles but because of the introductory nature of this text.
   
   For the £12.99 cover price, I would have expected more depth.
