I have read this book and because of its impact on my life and the freedom that has come because of its ability to bring understanding and healing of past experiences I have given it to about twenty of my friends. They have been as healed in certain areas as I have been. My shoulders are back and my backbone straighter as I walk into my future with new hope and resolve! I recommend this book highly!

1. This is probably one of the best books I have ever read. The author describes mind control in enough detail for you to understand the book but not so much that it confuses you. I felt that the examples were great. A big thumbs up!

1. I have been comforted by this book. I first read this book 5 years ago and continue to do so. The author gets to the heart of the matter quickly, simply and accurately. I haven't been single all that time, but when things change this has been a mainstay for me to refer to for help through rough times. I can identify with her single 'types', the single pitfalls and coping strategies. Very good book.

1. This is a wonderful book to give to anyone who has achieved or is determined to achieve their goals. Great way to inexpensively promote your downline members' efforts!



2. Never, before this book, had I had a journal to write some of my personal feelings in. But, as a gift from a friend, I recieved this diary and have written in it as much as I can. The person who gave it to me stated: "Journals are the only things that keep you sane." So, becuase of this statement, I used it (and still use it). And I guess it really does help to have thise little book with me, even if sometimes it's hard to get time to write in it. Though I have had no past journals, I believe this one must be pretty good. It has quotes about dreams all over it and has vibrant, colorful pages that are not clogged up by distracting illustrations or anything that does not come in a subtle manner. At the beginning of the journal is a little inspirational poem. It's not long, or incredibly eloquent, but I read it every time I write in the book. I think this would be a good gift for ANYONE, no matter who it is. It can be a small little thing like this that can really show someone you care. I still believe that it made a differnce in my life. Also, journals can be fun and emotionally reflective. They're wonderful to read months later. It's a gift that shows someone you care about their darkest secrets. It's also fun to treat yourself to something like this. In the back there are pockets to put sincere, sentimental writings such as poems or quotes of your own. Best of all, it is small and easily travels with you wherever you go. A great purchase. Inspiring. Suggested for those of us who are more creative than others, you can write deep things that other people may not understand, making privacy ideal. I hold it in the highest esteem over many other things that I own.

1. As the saying goes the glory is not in never falling but in rising every time you fall. In John Lords Book song of the phoenix he talks of the real purpose of failure and uses real life examples of people who have failed at one or several things in their life but have used the opportunties given by these failures to explore new territory with their selves and their lives. Lord also goes into the westeren attitudes of failure and how it can be destructive or counter productive to growth.He diminishes the myth of failure as being a terrible thing by explaining how often times failure can just be an experiment and opportunity for growth. He even tells of a class at a school where students are encouraged to fail called failure 101. With this fresh new view on failure people can be encouraged to take chances and not let a failure get them down , they can forge ahead and try again with something else. Like Helen Keller once said " Life is either a daring adventure or nothing" Keller also said that security does not exist in nature and the fearful get caught as often as the bold. This book is so enlightening and sheds light on a sore and misunderstood experience in life failure but it is not such a terrible thing. Sometimes it is just lifes' way of redirecting you to something better. With Lords book you will be inspired to try new and different things after you fail at one thing. This book is out of print now but I highly recommend that anyone who has struggled with failures to attain it at a used book shop or see if you can find a friend who has this book. You wont regret it.
